-1. This kind of goes hand-in-hand with the suggestion of adding house robberies. It does not open many RP opportunities if this can all happen whilst the player is offline.

Doesn't need to be a scripted job. There are plenty of people who would engage in this type of roleplay. Some might argue I have myself.

The above poster makes a valid point on their numbers, but that is only the ideal, perfect scenario. That is under the assumption a table doesn't explode, you stack ingredients on tables so there is no in-between time, you suffer no delays, robberies, or arrests. Not to mention Lysergic needs to be imported consistently, so the time this whole process takes ends up lasting much longer. To conclude, I strongly +1 the original suggestion to increase drug prices.

Adding on to what the above poster said, I also think the server has to simply adapt with how people play it. In real life, an individual is usually incapacitated after 1 taser shot. As Alex said, an individual could also be tackled, etc. This is not how most players play and the server doesn’t support game mechanics like that. Due to this, I personally think it does not make sense to limit taser shots at the current state.

I agree with the above person on this one. It's important to understand the nature of Eclipse RP. If a cop gets paid more than a taxi driver, then why would I ever want to be a taxi driver? Not to mention, it's more likely the CEO of a News Network will get paid more then the Chief of Police getting paid by their city. Government caps should stay to ensure equality.

Unsure why this is still being discussed. FatherOsborn (among other senior staff members) have already disowned this suggestion and it will never be implemented into Eclipse RP.

After reading through this thread, it's quite apparent that people can't even be respectful to each other here even when the original poster explicitly asked for people to be respectful to each other. I'm not going to give an opinion on this suggestion, however, many of those who responded can't properly convey their side because other posters are being petty and arguing with them. Can't we all just get along?

This honestly seems pretty cool. A lot of development would have to go into it, and it wouldn't offer much gameplay advantages, but it would be a super cool roleplay addition that opens the doors for different scenarios.

I agree that the promoted posts, pages and profiles should be paid for with IC currency. The other stuff that does not give you an advantage, such as the verified badge, should be paid for with OOC currency because it shows you support the server and offers no advantage to you, other than cosmetics.

Unpopular opinion, but -1. There's so many other ways to metagame something like that. For instance, if I wanted to see if a specific person was online, I could just /pm them to check. If it says that the player isn't found, that means they're offline. If I wanted to check if Jay Gamble was online, I could do /pm Jay_Gamble Thanks. /pm Jay_Gamble Oops wrong ID. Changing this phone mechanic would cause more headache than help in my opinion.

The new UI is something I'll eventually get used to, but I think that it was a pointless feature no one asked for.

/mywounds does not work how you think it does. Server desync makes the feature pointless because you could shoot at someone's chest and the server might register it as their head. There's no way to tell, so honestly, I don't think /mywounds should be used to identify roleplay injuries.

This suggestion has since been implemented. I hope your suggestion prevents the metagaming. No need to be toxic about it. I’m happy to see a suggestion get implemented, seems like it doesn’t happen very often.

+1. However, I think adding RP opportunities in prison would fix the issues stated in this suggestion. If there are no plans to add prison RP, which I assume there isn't because more RP was something that has been suggested for ages, then sure, disable the AFK timer in prison.

Not 100% of the time. Some people are trolls and just slapped their keyboard a few times when they created their character and end up with a gibberish name. I only use ID to look up someone's name after I was able to view their license, just like any other cop would do. If you're wearing a mask or I don't have you aliased I don't look you up with your player ID, it's that simple.
