  1. Even if you do that, it still forces you to update if you want to open the game.
  2. Must be because I have the Rockstar version. I'm sure there's other graphic mods I could find to make the lights brighter. Thanks for the mods by the way! The ambulance looks sick.
  3. For whatever reason, when I install Radiance V to make the lights brighter, GTA V automatically updates and it reverts the file back to normal.
  4. I think this should be handled with a 2 strikes, you're out. A first time offense perma man is a little harsh, don't you think? I do think combat logging is becoming a bigger issue because I had to make 4 player reports in 1 week.
  5. How many +1s do you have to get before something is added lol?
  6. Hosting illegal races doesn't require any scripting/command intervention at all. Simply decide you want to host races, tell people IC how to participate and exchange numbers, possibly create an admin-approved Discord server for participants to join, and take it from there. You can show them where the racing route is and where it starts/ends. Adding scripted checkpoints ruins immersion and turns the race into one you would participate in while playing GTA Online. Also, adding a scripted way to place bets also ruins immersion. They simply give all their money to a trusted person and the cash gets handed to the winner. On Eclipse RP, you have the opportunity to be as creative as you want in your roleplay, so instead of asking for game mechanics, take your own initiative to make your racing league successful.
  7. I disagree. There is no way to enforce how applicants get there answers. Some copy and paste from the rulebook. We can't expect applicants to just "not copy from someone else".
  8. Player(s) being reported: ID 140 Date of interaction reported: 30/MAR/2020 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1585598480 Your characters name: Anthony Pierce Other player(s) involved: ID 170, ID 195, ID 127, ID 185 Specific rule(s) broken: 13. Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover for a friend or yourself, or fleeing with it. How did the player break the rule(s)? ID 40's car stalls and I order him out of the car, gun drawn. He refuses to comply while starting his engine back up. He then proceeds to argue some more for a few moments, before reversing and fleeing the scene. Obviously this makes me frustrated, because ID 40 outright breaks Fear RP and ruins the RP scenario. 9. +1. There should be a harder\stricter quiz or there should be a mandatory practice server before new players get access to the real one. In recent weeks, with the influx of new players, the roleplay quality of the server has been dropping and rulebreaks have started to get much more common.
  10. The Unix time stamp here is incorrect. It has been updated
  11. Player(s) being reported: Xtra Javelli (ID 10) Date of interaction reported: 1/1/2019 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1585451650 Your characters name: Anthony Pierce Other player(s) involved: Devonte Triplett (ID 206) Specific rule(s) broken: 8. Non-Roleplay (NRP) Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay. Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay: • Baiting Government Services - Provoking a reaction from faction services without a realistic reason / or calling faction services to e.g. rob them. • Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching). • Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles. • Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for anything other than its intended purpose. • Submerging any vehicle in water or unrealistically beaching any watercraft. • Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase. Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof. How did the player break the rule(s)? Xtra Javelli disconnected from the game after being arrested in an active RP situation, never to return. Logs will prove ID10 never returned to the game. Evidence of rule breach:
  12. "The Gun Import" With the sudden disappearance of stock on The Dream Market, criminal gangs have been having droughts in their gun supplies and are hesitant to sell their weapons. However, The West Coast Assassins know their way around the underground market more than anyone. Today, Pops, a highly respected member within WCA, has connections with a local gun store owner and was able to import everyone Pistol .50s for a VERY large discount. He went through each member and asked everyone one-by-one how many pistols they wanted. Anthony Lake answered with 20. After asking each member how many pistols they wanted, Pops said in total everyone wanted over 200 pistols. Everyone who wanted guns went to the bank to withdraw their cash and handed it to Mark Trunos. They then waited for the truck full of the guns to unload at the gun store. The members proceeded to follow Mark to the store, where we told him our total number of guns we asked for and he bought them for us. Anthony Lake collected his share of the .50s and put them in his bag. At this point, Anthony Lake was at a huge risk because of the amount of guns he had on him. He quickly drove to his apartment to drop off his guns, making sure he wasn't followed. Thankfully for him, he got there without any problems and put his guns into his secret hidden safe, along with his fully loaded AK and his drug stash. Anthony Lake was able to jump on a rare opportunity, and who knows how long it will be until something like this happens again, or when The Dream Market will be back up in running. All Anthony knows is that he has a significantly large stash of guns that won't be running out anytime soon. All information and screenshots in this post are OOC and should not be metagamed IC.
  13. I would usually understand where you are coming from, but here is why I can't sympathize. Firstly, you had the entire time Retro Zin (187) was pointing the gun at both of you while the engine was stalled, before I even showed up, to get off the bike and put your hands up. You also didn't type any /me or /do if you were "going" to RP everything. As well, it would be impossible to re-roleplay everything because you were on a specific stolen bike which I'm sure you don't still have. However, I understand that you're a new player and you may have not fully understood the rules, since I broke a similar rule myself when I was new (I was able to get out of the punishment though). Perhaps you could just get a written warning. Nonetheless, I feel the driver knowingly broke Fear RP because they're not a new player and failed to use any type of RP, including VOIP. That's all I wanted to add to this report, and I'm sure Seas will come to a fitting verdict.
  14. Honestly this is by far one of the best "This is the LSPD" videos I've ever seen. Keep it up dude
