Are you aware this is a roleplay server and not a cops and robbers server?. Also even though DOC may not have good RP and be called "boring" does not magically make it OOC jail even though you may call it so. I mean you did say you consider the prison OOC punishment. Also in regards to your specific example with your chase/ambush alley shootout with LSPD. That was legit a chosen decision to stop your evasion efforts and deploy an attack. If you and your associate had used your sports vehicle appropriately and eluded the police in it and avoided the shootout that would have changed your sentence a lot. But of course that is not what your characters decided to do. You guys decided instead of continuing to run in your vehicle...-.. to stop and deploy an ambush on the pursuing officers. Had you just continued to drive you may have actually gotten away. But nope, you guys instead decided to break out the rifles and bang out with the LSPD in an alley instead. That was your characters personal decision(s) and your sentencing time reflects that.

Exactly what I mentioned above, DOC is the issue and the lack of roleplay within it. It's not about the time. It's about what is going on during that time. Which it seems the majority of the time is nothing. There needs to be a large overhaul with DOC, and I'm not talking about staff I'm talking about giving them new interiors/exteriors and diversifying the facility to be more RP encouraging. Right now as he said and others feel it is practically an OOC Administrative Prison at this point with the stagnant roleplay and or complete lack there of it. As previously stated, it's about the place your in not the time spent within it.

What if DOC actually had the assets and ability and potential to offer RP for the prisoners to take part in so people won't WANT to AFK in Prison. This is all band aids on an issue that is much larger. Everyone seems to just listen to music or AFK in Prison because there is little to no roleplay to be had inside ( so I hear from people, I'm not implying or insulting DOC as a faction ). I see nothing wrong with 4-6 hour and other heavy sentences for series felonies that stack. Imagine if DOC was more than a hall and cells and some isolation units. Why can't there be scheduled activities and routine roleplay for the prisoners to do?. Some basic ideas below. - New Prisoner Intake / Gang Tattoo Affiliation Checks - Laundry Detail - Yard / Weight area - Cafeteria and Meals - Cell Inspection - Role Call - Etc... It seems that the community is legit split on this. One side we have the legal factions (LSPD, Sheriff's , EMS ) who are outnumbered and outgunned as well as robbed and face legit car chases and gun fights all day who think its fair to have heavy jail sentences. On the other we have the criminals and illegal factions that already get a low reward for their activities but now face high risk of lengthy imprisonment. And since there is no RP to be had within the prison everyone wants to NOT be there. At all. Or for as little time as possible. That is not good. People should WANT to roleplay within Department Of Corrections. They should NOT want to AFK, listen to music and enable AFK script avoiding binds , etc. I have heard from 4-6 different people and all of them have said there is only people AFK'ing in DOC or beating eachother up and getting put in isolation. That's the full extent of what goes on from what I have heard so far. That is downright unacceptable IMO. In Summary, has anyone thought that maybe the Prison Environment is the problem and not the time your spending within it?.

Sadly it seems the Bloods have encountered some issues and are not going to be continuing. It seems if the Crips came about now they would have no Blood rivals to fight anymore. I know it's hard to get a faction off the ground and recruit/expand and stay out of trouble, wish this could have continued and expanded!.

+1 But I think the charging dock should be a piece of furniture or something script wise you have to buy in order to charge your vehicles. Your already not paying for gas, IMO it's reasonable to argue then to apply a charge (pun intended) for the charging station to be installed/purchased. I'm all for the electric vehicles though. Would be cool to see the ultra rich not just cruise around in fully modded sports cars but some electrics as well!.

Exactly. The only practical use I could see is like intense riot and other violent mass RP situations that would call for the National Guard / Military or some large authoritative force. And as you said LSPD and SO have Riot units. Maybe when the server has 800-1000 people in it constantly and San Andreas is more busy and changed this would be a practical idea but right now it's just kinda pointless.

I would love to see some episodic patrol type series posted here!. Imitate " Cops " or " LIVE PD " and have an officer or officer(s) have like RP body camera footage. And or have a person ride along with a actual camera ( like weasel news ) and record some traffic stops, chases, and shootouts and other various stuff!.. Either way I am really excited to see the content coming from both the new versions of the Law Enforcement Factions!. Yeet Yeet LSPD!

So long as it's within reason I suppose. Someone with a tiny apartment interior and exterior that is just a motel room should not be able to purchase a 3 story mansion interior with 3k storage stash or something ridiculous. As long as this is within roleplay reason of the size of your home/apartments exterior it could be good.

I like that!, I'm not sure if it's possible to script in actual physical signs. Would that not require client side texture and other visual mod installation?. Or could that be like added to the downloaded content when you join the server somehow and scripted in?. I'm honestly curious. Anyone else have any suggestions or ideas related to this?.

Yeah, good point!. I'm thinking like you know how Warehouses have their little text notification overlay over them?. Just says like " WAREHOUSE - LOCKED " Or " WAREHOUSE - UNLOCKED " . We could merely change that text and overlay to " BUSINESS - OPEN " or during off hours or when the business is not purchased yet could be " BUSINESS - CLOSED ". And I believe this could be done with simple point text mapping over the businesses front door, where the player would hit (Y) or E to enter. However when it comes to knowing the amount of patrons/players inside that maybe tricky. Not even sure if or how that would be done. Concept :

Good point with the buyout comment, just like with real estate a lot of experienced and rich players patrol for businesses and properties to buy 24/7. And the second these businesses hit the market odds are they would be bought out by the same faction ( which ever has the most money, power and members online at the time) which would be a shame. Maybe if this is used and or implemented in the future there could be an arranged sale/bidding system that would go by dates and result in the businesses being individually sold at different times. Instead of all of them just becoming available for sale at once for some real estate or business type to purchase all at once.

Yeah, would be badass to have an off-road unit for Sheriff's Office and PD though at some point. 4 wheelers and other large off road vehicles that could keep pace with others in the dunes and desert on the dirt roads.

Alright, so we have a lot of pre-existing exterior buildings and script-able interiors. With that being said as of now they only places to get food is 24/7's. That and bars are about it. And most people are there for more for other stuff than the food even. And eating and drinking itself is really just something most players do every few hours out of need and not wanting to forget. What if we turned eating and drinking and food into some actual roleplay?. Introduce player owned restaurant and food chains. What do I mean by this?, I mean having the Burger Shot, Cluckin' Bell spoof and other food locations actually be turned into businesses with functioning (Y) entrance points and interiors where people can RP buying and eating food. I feel like this would just help diversify the business economy and just lead to more good RP. You could make everything from big chains like listed above to little diners out in Blaine County. Possibility for RP is very lengthy as not only could you buy the business and own it for legal RP and financial gains but a faction/gang/mafia or group of players could also buy one of these said restaurant businesses and use it as a front and hold meetings/sit downs and other RP there and benefit from the structure in other ways aside from just purchasing and eating food/drink. Not only could these businesses be bought and used to RP inside of but you could even make new legal jobs revolving around them!. Have some places " Deliver " food and make a " Delivery Person " job for said businesses!. There is a lot of potential for RP and server side job and economy benefit with this concept!. Examples - Burger Shot : Cluckin Bell : More Fried Chicken Places ? :

+1 There needs to be more drug sale and usage roleplay. And with the ONLY thing you can do with your weed right now is roll a bunt it's pretty limited. Give us multiple ways to use our marijuana for RP!. Also would be cool af' to see a needle system for heroin use.

When the server is 500-800 players constantly daily maybe a Military Faction will be needed at some point. But logistically and for now it makes sense to just have small law enforcement factions dispersed across San Andreas.

Straight up cannot even pump gas without getting robbed even with legit 80 players on at 3 AM EST. That should say something lmao.

Dope roleplay so far, love the recent stuff with The Rooks!. Black on one side and white on the other (clothing wise) and it makes for really cool looking meetings!.

If this does not cause lag or server issues related to displaying probably hundreds of cars server-side all at once I'm for it. I'm imagining a parking lot like Low/High end just filled with tens and tens if not nearly 100 cars. I cannot see how that would not cause some sort of server stress, but then again I'm not a admin/mod or anything so I'm clueless to that kinda stuff. +1
