  1. From a criminal POV, if someone else is going to do the hard work for you, you would be foolish to turn down the opportunity. From a civilian POV, I imagine it is frustrating to be doing a job on the legal side of the law and people are harassing/robbing you for what little money you get. There are actually quite a few farm type areas around the map, perhaps adding some extra locations would make things easier but we can't make it an NCZ. It's the Sheriffs job to protect Paul's farm.
  2. I can't speak for Vyse, but since I agree with his sentiment. In my experience with being a prison inmate, it's basically what I imagine the bank would be like if it wasn't a no crime zone. Just a loud, free for all. It's not an environment that encourages role-play. Those that aren't idling their sentences down are running around whacking each other, yelling the N word and jumping around on things like it's a soft toy playhouse.
  3. To avoid potential abuse, it could cost like $500 every time you do it too. Been in the situation myself, where I've wanted to edit the price, pulled my car off sale and then gone to resell immediately and it's full lol.
  4. If the currency meant something more in prison, then I think people would be more receptive to doing the actions that have been scripted to earn stamps in the first place. I was grinding the prison mining (which with the need for a pickaxe, is inconvenient) for a little while and went and exchanged my stamps.. barely got a minute off my sentence for my efforts. We don't want people getting out too fast but there is a big gap between it being irrelevant to do and being overpowered.

    The Body Timers

Doesn't actually add any RP to the whole thing either, just makes it less convenient.
  6. If you want to split hairs, perhaps the mobile network shares it's subscriber information database with law enforcement. Burner phones would be an interesting idea, but if they were used indefinitely like our current phones are then they would make the other phones obsolete. So maybe, they have a certain amount of battery life and can't be recharged or something but they wouldn't come with subscriber information.
  7. When it comes to prison, I'd rather be left alone in solitary for my sentence tbh.

    The Body Timers

The system is already in, only requires a tweak and pushing the changes.

    The Body Timers

Okay Eclipse, we need to talk. I know there was an issue with people not role-playing interacting with the bodies, but adding these timers ain't it chief. It just draws things out unnecessarily, whether it's for cops/medics clearing bodies on a scene, criminals having to pick up criminals to be able to kill them off because of Rage or whatever. Since it's been implemented, it's clearly the plan for there to be timers, but can we change the timers. In real life, I understand that doing things like lifting heavy objects (like a corpse) would take some time, but as it is currently, it's just plain inconvenient and in the case of storing or dropping, putting someone in the trunk is cumbersome. Picking up Body - 10 seconds to 6 seconds if they are alive, 3 seconds if they are dead. Dropping Body - This should be instant, if i'm carrying something and I want to drop it, I can do so instantly. Storing a Body - Should be the same time frame as unlocking the trunk so like 3 seconds. You are dropping the body in a certain way onto something, gravity is doing the hard way.
  12. Unfortunately pal, someone has to be the victim. Maybe you need to consider altering what you do, rather than expecting a rule to sort it for you?

    Speed cameras

The speed cameras are there for an OOC reason, to stop people from excessively speeding in the heavily built up areas i.e. bank, tequilala, pillbox. I don't like them as a cop, feel like they do our job for us and give people the pointless reckless operation charges which come with a paltry 10 minute jail sentence.
  14. Fear RP was clearly put into keep things realistic but in it's current format, it restricts role-play. It should just be if you do not have a reasonable chance of survival, you should be able to do what you need to. There's a difference between reacting when someone starts pulling a gun on you to someone having a gun on you. A hardened criminal or experienced cop is going to react differently to having a gun on them, than a civilian for example. The only time people should be punished for it, is if their actions are basically like suicide.
  15. Yes and you can only place down a maximum of three until one is closed to prevent spam, accidental or not.
  16. Welcome mate, don't think about it too much, just jump into it.
  17. In the Arena War DLC for GTA Online, there are thirteen different possible colours for your vehicle's Xenon headlights. As we know, criminal factions in the server like to express their faction's 'brand' with the use of colour. So I thought it might be a cool idea for the mechanic shops and the official criminal factions of our server, if those faction members could colour their vehicle headlights as well as their vehicle bodies and such. There is a script for it on the Rage-MP forums, which might require a little tweaking and incorporating into our system but not the less. There are Blues, Greens, Yellows, Orange, Red, Pinks and Purples. It's not something that I think EVERY vehicle should have, but I think it would be a cool little feature for our criminal factions to have some kind of exclusivity, since they haven't had a lot of love for a little while. Below is a screenshot of how it looks.
  18. Increase the limit from 0 taxi drivers to 1 and add a CityBee location to High End.
  19. The premise is pretty simple, vehicle dealerships would be given a small number of used car slots to sell used vehicles Think of it like a small scale high-end, like five vehicles a dealership or something. To get your vehicle listed, you would have to contact the owner of dealership in-character and work out the details of the vehicle sale. The selling price of the vehicle. The amount of time listed at the dealership. The % of the sale that the dealership would take as commission when it sold. /dealercar [playerid] [price] [percent] [days] The best use of it might be for selling the unique vehicles like the supers, vehicle sales that aren't very common but you also have the opportunity to do some roleplay around the dealerships and establish business relationships with the owners.
  20. The problem with prison to me is There is no incentive for good behaviour and no real punishment for bad behaviour. It's people just think i'm already here, might as well do whatever. The activities don't match the prison. Poker is very expensive and as for mining, who gives prisoners pickaxes? There are people that go in there and just want to AFK until they are out. Those that are present, seem to want to ignore the rules of the server and DM. The guards don't really want to be inside the prison either, they stay outside by the intake. It is a punishment, but it's more a punishing experience OOC than IC in my opinion. I'd rather take solitary.
  21. 4am: 3 LSPD cops on duty, 117 people. 4pm: 15 LSPD cops on duty, 117 people. All about timezones, my g.
  22. There are finite amount of open stores. The more you put into operation, the more you saturate the market and the more pointless the stores become.
  23. I hear what you're saying and in terms of the server, life goes on but I think the way they do it now is pretty reasonable.
