  1. Now that, I can get behind. As I said, the main issue I have is that every single person, big or small simply hunts for radio frequencies. My definition of good RP is infiltrating a rival gang and gathering the freq and other information organically, not picking up radios from dead bodies. All of the factions, PD and crim alike are not just full of people we invited from our own personal discords, we're all housing players of ECRP and mistakes are going to happen. Back then, if you scratch off your freq, detectives could still gather your frequency when your average joe wouldn't be able to.
  2. Also one more thing, how in any universe is it "Good RP" to have every person become a super detective, taking radios off everyone they kill and going to the freq going "HEY ZETAS, FUCK ZETAS, I CLAP YALL 24/7 GANG GANG GANG GANG, IM THROWING GANG SIGNS UP BUT YOU CANT SEE IT" Like bruh pls @alexalex303 No one is forcing PD to have 120 members, but you still have them, you still have encrypted radios and you still have people breaking rules just like we do. The point is, there are a fuck ton of drawbacks to being in a huge gang, as well as drawbacks for being criminal period. I don't see how changing a frequency is bad RP because if you fucked up, the LEAST you could do is save your organization from being breached? I also think every single person on the planet hunting for radio frequencies is also bad RP but not one time did you mention that in your suggestion because again, it doesn't effect you lol
  3. -1 I don't see how rolling a dial takes 10 seconds This new radio thing is silly anyway and considering PD radio is encrypted and no one can access it regardless (As it should), you also have to understand fairness as well. I don't think anyone not involved in crim RP really understands how frustrating it is for huge gangs to constantly have to change freq because EVERYONE wants to take frequencies, it's actually borderline silly. Imagine changing the radiofreq multiple times a day for 60 people, meeting up, texting the ones who aren't around, rinse repeat. If anything, rply scratching off your screen should still be a thing, at least there's an RP reason someone can't take the frequency. If you don't have that problem or understand it's frustrations from our POV, I implore people to not make suggestions on these types of matters until you understand it from all angles.
  4. Just as the title says, parking lot for water vessels, a dock so to speak
  5. One solution I can think of is if they refuse to comply with demands in a vehicle that's still or driving at very low speeds, or if the driver recognizes your demands and speaks back to you, etc, then you can shoot. If you're shooting and they aren't shooting back, you can aim to stall/disable the vehicle but you cannot aim to kill them but if they're shooting back, you can aim to kill. Regardless, if they're stalled, they get a second chance of RP and complying to demands, if they return fire..they made their intentions clear. That seems easier to enforce imo The issue I see in these types of reports sometimes is that when someone is finally stalled after a chase, the shooter proceeds to continue throwing bullets into the car window with the intentions of killing the guy for not complying. I think that should be considered DM 100% , once the vehicle is stalled, you give them an opportunity to either get out with their hands up or don't and get shot.
  6. Date and time (provide timezone): 08/21/2019 2:37PM Eastern Character name: Flint Capone Issue/bug you are reporting: Bugged house marker. We were in the middle of building and came across a house marker inside of the interior of the building we were in, something completely out of place. It's Great Ocean Hwy. 7 and it's apparently a 1G with the price of $19,100. I've looked around and found house 5,6 and 8 but no 7 and I realized the interior of the building is in Buen Vino Rd, at least that's what the map tells you when you enter. So I looked around a bit more and possibly found the house with the missing marker, which is close to west highway, thus could be great ocean Hwy. Expected behavior: I'll show everything in the screen shots below Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: https://ibb.co/zXJr7L0
  7. +1 great idea. I was thinking this should have been a thing for a while now, makes perfect sense RP wise.
  8. Just as the title says, I suggest phone contacts are sorted into alphabetical order or allow an extra button on the phone to automatically sort your contacts. Short and simple suggestion
  9. No, what I'm saying is, it's extremely tough to be criminal as is and every update thus far has been a direct nerf to crims. I'm saying, walk a mile in our shoes and see what we see and lose what we lose. When we die or go to jail, we lose actual items that we grinded to obtain. When you die, you lose nothing. What I'm saying is, there's a difference in the way we operate and that needs to be recognized rather than ignored. PD has more than enough to deal with criminals, there's enough guns, enough members, enough equipment to go around and none of it costs anything to your average officer. I'm all for PD having an advantage over crims, but there needs to be a line. The experience on the server changes dramatically when everything you do, involves things you had to grind to pay for. I mean ffs, you guys have the ability to quite literally remove our way of making money. The main issue I have is the mentality of the players on this server, not the server itself or even the development typically. People tend to have this "Being crim is bad, bad boy" mentally but forget about the fact that it's a core part of the server's RP. Development was put into it, criminals were intended to exist. When you think about it that way, can you honestly sit here and tell me that you don't understand what I'm saying? The players here need to quit this competitive "PD v Crim" mentality and start realizing that the crime RP of the server is becoming less and less fun. Fun is the keyword. That's why the ability to afk in prison needs to return and that's why things simply need to change. I shouldn't be unable to tell the difference between criminal and PD. Half of these dudes just want free smoke and who can blame them? You get free shit and the ability to shoot people daily? If the people in Zetas were in swat, crime simply wouldn't exist anymore on ECRP, it barely exists now.
  10. Criminal characters abuse it? The difference is, we can't ride around with an SMG on our backs without being chased every corner. So cops should just ride around in Elegy Retro's lol The point is, yes, it's extremely nonRP. You have police issued equipment, there is seriously no need for PD to try to match us at every corner when you're riding around on free gas, X-rays and high speed units along with almost no cap in members. By that logic, you guys should drive elegys, massacros and every other fast car that isnt your standard police cruiser. I'm sure that makes no sense to you, so a cop driving around a drag with an SMG on his back surely shouldn't make sense either. I mean, there's even a chance you see one of our shipments coming and you get to camp there waiting for someone to pick it up. All I'm asking is, where is the line drawn?
  11. +1 Easily, although I doubt this will actually be looked at practically. Majority of the people who will disagree with this suggestion will be players who work for PD, etc and these are the players that are listened to, from my experience. Crims have gotten nerfed pretty hard these recent updates and I don't think it'll stop here. The amount of people mass vdming and getting banned on purpose are increasing as well and when I logged out today, there was 44 people when there's usually 90-100. I'm aware that PD has to have advantages, and I think they should as well. 100% they should out class criminals but not this way. Any support+ that actively play crims, I would honestly like to see your input one of these days.
  12. Honestly? I wouldnt have a problem with any of this shit if you can afk in prison lol. Sitting there in a prison with zero prison guards around and a bunch of people punching the shit out of each other for 3 hours is the furthest from RP and it's the furthest from interesting. I go grab something to eat real quick, come back, I'm kicked. I log in, fall through the map and sit there dying for an extremely long time, rinse and repeat. I wouldn't mind doing a bit of RP in prison if I could go afk when I want. Paying 18-20k + a 3 hour sentence and no afk, ya'll got me fucked up lol On a serious note though, X-ray's are too much sometimes. The fact that you can fly beyond the bounds of player view is somewhat annoying. I have to get out of my car and point my gun up in the air to even see it, otherwise I can't muster the camera angle to do so. @cheatonus is correct though, in a world with no court system or anything, it gets to a point where some things are just forced upon you. I've had some interesting RP experiences with PD but most of the time, it's frisk then jail. Also are we seriously just not going to talk about the fact that there's police riding around on Hakoucho drags with SMG's on their backs? Is anyone else annoyed by this? It really feels like abuse at that point, like you're taking advantage of the fact that it's somehow totally legal to do that and that SMG is 100% glued to you, so we can't even take it. Help me understand how that shit is okay lol
  13. Bro are you seriously going to sit here and tell me you missed the entire war with Zetas, Clowns, Traids vs the entire city? The irish war? Narcos, vice lords? You missed ALL of that? Anyone that remembers any of those wars wouldn't even think about saying anything remotely even close to what you said. Seaweed had their chance to grow, they had longer than most. All I'm saying is, learn your history. I get what you're saying here but log onto ECRP, go find a really old player and talk to him. You'll get your answers Edit: I also want to point out that Los Zetas had far larger numbers before we were official.
  14. Are we just going to continue to act like criminals have other shit to do than make drugs and rob people? I'm confused as to where these "Consequences" keep coming from. The market right now is NOT realistic in any way. I've seen players try to make their own businesses like uber and such and it flops every time because it just isn't set up that way. People die and respawn, cops die and respawn and don't lose anything. Where are the consequences to your actions? If PD actually acted like cops, I'd be saying something totally different but these dudes show up to labs they already know the location of and shut it down for hours on end. I saw MD destroying a lab with combat pistols, hello? Just say OOCly you don't want crime, for the love of God. Say you want the server to be crime free and people will stop arguing the point. All I see from PD these days are old gangsters that couldn't make it in the criminal world so they put on body armor and do what they want for free and we are seriously just going to sit here and ignore that, it's amazing honestly. Let me just change my last name, fill out a PD job application and be set, no worries.
  15. You better develop some tough skin cuz, the internet doesn't give a shit about your feelings, I learned that a long time ago. If you're leaving for reasons like that, log off of the internet 100%
  16. For the love of God, please get off of your high horse. Everything crim factions had to do, they earned it through a long and consistent effort. PD didn't "earn" much on an IC level and while I'm sure you guys put in your own share of work, a lot of things were given to you. You guys get everything free and work actively off of scripted updates. I say this not out of anger or anything but this is known to be true and with that being said, I implore you to stop talking as if you aren't biased down to the T. From what I've seen so far, some these dudes just want PD/Civ RP and that's fine but at least say it and stop beating around the bush, it's uncivilized. I think the server tends to forget that Criminal RP is PD RP as well and vice versa, we're connected in everyway and in order for you to exist, we have to exist too; this is the reality. Currently, there's an imbalance and instead of owning up to that, you want to argue mute point as if they have weight, they don't. The same way a lot of you guys feel about Crim RP is the same way Crims feel about your RP, please understand this. You people talking about Criminals killing cops or robbing rapidly and you guys forget about Colby, Darnell, Avon, Nicholas Harm, Borris, Toby Vintage and so much more. These are guys who either ran criminal organization that killed cops and robbed everything in sight or ended up ditching PD for criminal life. I say that to remind you that the standards of RP goes both way. If you guys have an issue with how Criminals RP, why hire the same dudes you have that exact issue with in the first place? People who were the forefront of it? If Criminal RP is bad, yours is just as bad and that's reality. So frisking someone over their color and finding an illegal gun is fair? Frisking someone over a traffic stop is fair? Bringing 10 officers to impound and frisking everyone there out of suspicion of a heavy weapon is fair? No description, no CCTV investigation, nothing and that's fine to you guys, isn't it? The system isn't balanced and if the majority of the community is saying it isn't, then something is obviously wrong and it needs to be fixed; this is common sense. I saw this inside of the fashion channel in discord: Get. Off. Your. High. Horse and fix this please. We're all here to RP and taking a step backwards is NOT helping that happen more frequently. I'm also tired of seeing Civs/PD down talk criminal RP when you're not even involved in it. We've literally seen people leave PD/MD with clean records and end up littered with Admin logs directly afterwards. Stop acting like this shit is easy, it isn't and every crim will tell you the same thing. +1
  17. Update: I was at impound trying to get my vehicle out and I watched a cop roll up, look at everyone at impound for like 10 seconds and then leave and I instantly thought of this thread
  18. I really don't understand how this is even a discussion. It's common sense that people would not want to sit there for hours to get their vehicle out of impound in a video game. Having impound be an automatic feature is a great idea and I think it's in bad taste that PD is making this out to be a "Criminals trying to get away with shit" type of post, it is not. Your vehicle can be impounded for plenty of reasons, not just crime, let's be honest. I watched a guy disconnect from the server and a tow truck yoinked his shit, why are we acting like this doesn't happen? We're all playing a game, we should be finding ways to make the game more enjoyable for the community, rather than constantly have this stupid ass "PD vs Criminals" Mindset. Half of you PD guys that speak on these threads were once criminals yourselves, get off of your high horse. I'm sure a majority of the community would agree that the current state of impound is not good. It's a great idea but it does not work in practice. It takes entirely too long and people get ignored entirely too much for this to be a player driven thing. People are not as dutiful as you'd want them to be. Sometimes officers will purposely ignore impound requests because they just don't feel like it, please understand this. It's not cutting out potential RP in any type of way. The only RP the impound lot consists of is giving your license, RPing the payment and you're out of there. it's not a big deal and it never will be. The amount of automation PD has at their disposal, there is no room to talk about how the server doesn't need more automation. +1 on this thread, this is an issue that needs to be looked at, impound is in a bad state.
  19. MAJOR +1 I can attest to this as well. We really need a ctrl+x command for removing furniture
  20. Pretty sure he means permanently lower the speakers. Tbh it's a good suggestion because I see where he's coming from. Pulling up to a gas station with a very loud speaker dead next to the pumps does leave you open to being ganked, especially on a bike due to the recent changes where if you're on a bike and someone aims a gun at you, you HAVE to comply rather than dip off. It's not a big deal by any means but I see where he's coming from. +1
  21. Quite a bit of sass from this one. Did you wake up like this or is there something else boiling that you need to express? Anyway +1 on the post, 100% agree with disallowing these things to be abused and used as brick walls, PD has a ton of things at their disposal to deal with catching criminals, that should not be one of them.
  22. My answer to that is challenge us on the streets like everyone else has to, not through a script.
