Bro are you seriously going to sit here and tell me you missed the entire war with Zetas, Clowns, Traids vs the entire city? The irish war? Narcos, vice lords? You missed ALL of that? Anyone that remembers any of those wars wouldn't even think about saying anything remotely even close to what you said. Seaweed had their chance to grow, they had longer than most. All I'm saying is, learn your history. I get what you're saying here but log onto ECRP, go find a really old player and talk to him. You'll get your answers Edit: I also want to point out that Los Zetas had far larger numbers before we were official.

Are we just going to continue to act like criminals have other shit to do than make drugs and rob people? I'm confused as to where these "Consequences" keep coming from. The market right now is NOT realistic in any way. I've seen players try to make their own businesses like uber and such and it flops every time because it just isn't set up that way. People die and respawn, cops die and respawn and don't lose anything. Where are the consequences to your actions? If PD actually acted like cops, I'd be saying something totally different but these dudes show up to labs they already know the location of and shut it down for hours on end. I saw MD destroying a lab with combat pistols, hello? Just say OOCly you don't want crime, for the love of God. Say you want the server to be crime free and people will stop arguing the point. All I see from PD these days are old gangsters that couldn't make it in the criminal world so they put on body armor and do what they want for free and we are seriously just going to sit here and ignore that, it's amazing honestly. Let me just change my last name, fill out a PD job application and be set, no worries. -
You better develop some tough skin cuz, the internet doesn't give a shit about your feelings, I learned that a long time ago. If you're leaving for reasons like that, log off of the internet 100%

For the love of God, please get off of your high horse. Everything crim factions had to do, they earned it through a long and consistent effort. PD didn't "earn" much on an IC level and while I'm sure you guys put in your own share of work, a lot of things were given to you. You guys get everything free and work actively off of scripted updates. I say this not out of anger or anything but this is known to be true and with that being said, I implore you to stop talking as if you aren't biased down to the T. From what I've seen so far, some these dudes just want PD/Civ RP and that's fine but at least say it and stop beating around the bush, it's uncivilized. I think the server tends to forget that Criminal RP is PD RP as well and vice versa, we're connected in everyway and in order for you to exist, we have to exist too; this is the reality. Currently, there's an imbalance and instead of owning up to that, you want to argue mute point as if they have weight, they don't. The same way a lot of you guys feel about Crim RP is the same way Crims feel about your RP, please understand this. You people talking about Criminals killing cops or robbing rapidly and you guys forget about Colby, Darnell, Avon, Nicholas Harm, Borris, Toby Vintage and so much more. These are guys who either ran criminal organization that killed cops and robbed everything in sight or ended up ditching PD for criminal life. I say that to remind you that the standards of RP goes both way. If you guys have an issue with how Criminals RP, why hire the same dudes you have that exact issue with in the first place? People who were the forefront of it? If Criminal RP is bad, yours is just as bad and that's reality. So frisking someone over their color and finding an illegal gun is fair? Frisking someone over a traffic stop is fair? Bringing 10 officers to impound and frisking everyone there out of suspicion of a heavy weapon is fair? No description, no CCTV investigation, nothing and that's fine to you guys, isn't it? The system isn't balanced and if the majority of the community is saying it isn't, then something is obviously wrong and it needs to be fixed; this is common sense. I saw this inside of the fashion channel in discord: Get. Off. Your. High. Horse and fix this please. We're all here to RP and taking a step backwards is NOT helping that happen more frequently. I'm also tired of seeing Civs/PD down talk criminal RP when you're not even involved in it. We've literally seen people leave PD/MD with clean records and end up littered with Admin logs directly afterwards. Stop acting like this shit is easy, it isn't and every crim will tell you the same thing. +1- 210 replies

Impound needs to be automated or some sort of a schedule

Update: I was at impound trying to get my vehicle out and I watched a cop roll up, look at everyone at impound for like 10 seconds and then leave and I instantly thought of this thread -
Impound needs to be automated or some sort of a schedule
MrUntouchable215 replied to TreMetal's topic in Archive
I really don't understand how this is even a discussion. It's common sense that people would not want to sit there for hours to get their vehicle out of impound in a video game. Having impound be an automatic feature is a great idea and I think it's in bad taste that PD is making this out to be a "Criminals trying to get away with shit" type of post, it is not. Your vehicle can be impounded for plenty of reasons, not just crime, let's be honest. I watched a guy disconnect from the server and a tow truck yoinked his shit, why are we acting like this doesn't happen? We're all playing a game, we should be finding ways to make the game more enjoyable for the community, rather than constantly have this stupid ass "PD vs Criminals" Mindset. Half of you PD guys that speak on these threads were once criminals yourselves, get off of your high horse. I'm sure a majority of the community would agree that the current state of impound is not good. It's a great idea but it does not work in practice. It takes entirely too long and people get ignored entirely too much for this to be a player driven thing. People are not as dutiful as you'd want them to be. Sometimes officers will purposely ignore impound requests because they just don't feel like it, please understand this. It's not cutting out potential RP in any type of way. The only RP the impound lot consists of is giving your license, RPing the payment and you're out of there. it's not a big deal and it never will be. The amount of automation PD has at their disposal, there is no room to talk about how the server doesn't need more automation. +1 on this thread, this is an issue that needs to be looked at, impound is in a bad state. -
MAJOR +1 I can attest to this as well. We really need a ctrl+x command for removing furniture

Pretty sure he means permanently lower the speakers. Tbh it's a good suggestion because I see where he's coming from. Pulling up to a gas station with a very loud speaker dead next to the pumps does leave you open to being ganked, especially on a bike due to the recent changes where if you're on a bike and someone aims a gun at you, you HAVE to comply rather than dip off. It's not a big deal by any means but I see where he's coming from. +1

Quite a bit of sass from this one. Did you wake up like this or is there something else boiling that you need to express? Anyway +1 on the post, 100% agree with disallowing these things to be abused and used as brick walls, PD has a ton of things at their disposal to deal with catching criminals, that should not be one of them.

PD and illegal imports; recent changes that should be reversed.
MrUntouchable215 replied to TheCanadian's topic in Archive
My answer to that is challenge us on the streets like everyone else has to, not through a script. -
PD and illegal imports; recent changes that should be reversed.
MrUntouchable215 replied to TheCanadian's topic in Archive
That's not equal, I've voted against this before in the past. I don't agree with scripted drug sales or scripted pings when we're trying to pick up weapons we spend hundreds of thousands on. We get fined when we go to prison and now PD is taking money from us through sheer script, that's not okay and I don't see how anyone would think it is. "There's a 5% chance you're fucked and you get to lose your entire import" They have the means to obtain organic informants, I mean PD has been taking our radio freq as of late, how is that not good enough lol Also, the drug drop off script is not the same thing but again, I don't agree with it. This is our means of making money, the same way you get paid for cruising around and doing your job, making drugs and selling it is our job, I hope we can agree with that. PD should seriously not have a means to screw us over like that, there has to be a balance and that's not the answer. Players are grinding to make this type of money, day in and day out and to lose 100k because of an automated system is seriously going in the wrong direction. -

MrUntouchable215 replied to TheCanadian's topic in Archive
Whatever happened to getting an organic informant lol. I kinda assumed that was the point of detectives and RP? Why does a script have to decide if we have an informant or not? That doesn't make sense and that in itself is an act of Powergaming. That's forcing an RP situation out of our control. Swat officers have sniper rifles, etc. If a drop comes and you get the notification, we automatically lose the drop and there isn't jack shit we can do about it, that's NOT okay. PD gets free stuff, we have to pay for our stuff, if someone ordered 10 AK's, that's literally like 100k down the drain because of this import notification stuff, that's NOT okay. I saw a video where a guy went to go pick up his Ammo and they shot his car and disabled it, leaving him no room to escape lol -
First of all, I want to say thank you for the updates. The food and water implementation was a little shaky at first but with a few minor adjustments, it leveled out pretty well to the point where it makes sense. The only thing I want to mention is it's counteraction against drugs and overall tactical game play. Currently, food only heals you up to 80-90% if you're almost full on both food and water. While that's fine, currently we have to rely on MD to get the other 10% of our health back. Normally, that wouldn't be an issue, but it does remove the ability to use drugs in a tactical way. For example, Cocaine, heroin or any drug that gives you armor becomes useless when it comes to getting that tiny bit of armor. See before, we could counteract the drugs side effects by eating the rest of our HP back and being able to use that slight armor in combat made the drug useful beyond the means of party RP or selling it to the drop off point. The bit of armor it gives isn't that big of a deal but it's still an added bonus. The current system disallows this and I propose a way for us to gain that extra 10% HP back, perhaps some type of pain killer as an addition to the convenience stores. These pain killers will only heal a maximum of 10% HP and has a timer and/or longer animation to prevent spamming them during combat situations. This way, it would serve as a means to heal once combat has ended and considering full food and water heals you to about 90% over time anyway, it would be pointless to use as a replacement healing agent. I want to also mention, I'm not trying to take away any responsibility from MD at all, but I can also see people constantly calling up and/or going to MD for 10% HP can get annoying out of 200+ players. This will lighten that load a bit and make things less tedious for them as well.

This shit is hard bro. Did you guys make the track on the video as well?

Yes please, I've always been iffy about the one that's currently here doesn't show up for anyone other than yourself. +100

+1 Some new clothes maybe too, this has been needed for so long. If I put on another shirt just for my undershirt to disappear and my manly, chivalrous chest to be shown, I'm going to lose my COOL

It has zero negative impact for us. The only negative impact is the feed back from smaller gangs and in that case, you're correct. The alliance was formed long before all of this for many reasons. It's not going to stop because ya'll want it to. That's like telling us to slow down because no one else can catch up. I could say the same about the amount of millionairs on the server in comparison to the people who aren't. They flood the market, buy up the businesses and on top of the 5% tax on shit, it's harder now more than ever to generate a great cash flow. On top of the weekly checks from government jobs and the lack of labor. You have to build on top of what's given and in that, you have no choice. If we ever disapear, there will be someone else to take our place because the foundation on how to do it has already been laid out. ECRP has changed, change with it

Here's a secret that most don't share. Building friendships is more important than building enemies. If you want your faction to prosper and stand the test of time, you need friends you can rely on. If you're fighting against everyone, you will eventually fall or things will be so chaotic and uncontrollable that you will never have peace. Peace brings money. Open drug labs, protected store robberies, shared businesses, etc and comparable forces. The reason why the big three are so successful isn't just the alliance, it's because the values and rules of the game come directly from real life. Yes, there are some open street conflicts which are unrealistic but the attitude, meetings and mutual interests/respect comes from server experience as well. Every gang that was/is within the council stood the test of time because of those key factors. Clowns can run the streets by themselves, Zetas can run the streets by themselves and so can irish and the older Shadow Cartel and La Familia. The one thing people on this server need to understand, especially the new guys is, all of these gangs used to be enemies at some point. Most of the people in Zetas were in opposite, waring factions. We clapped at each other on the daily and now that we've formed that bond through violence, imagine what we'll do to others? That's the point. A successful faction is a faction that can form strong friendships that can make the rules. "If you are all living out of each others pockets, the fuck is the point?" that is extremely inaccurate but I'll answer you; power. If we want to raise the price of weapons, we have the ability to do that. If we want to raise the price of gas, we can do that too. That's not bragging, that's literally hard work and a LOT of play time. We were like this before each of these gangs became official and that will be the case regardless. There's a simple way around us and I'm waiting for people to figure it out.
-
Wrong. Los Zetas, Clowns and Irish have fought major wars with other gangs, rival gangs. Narcos, Vice Lords, Gates, Chambers, etc. There were plenty, you're just not involved enough to see it pan out. There's videos on youtube on it as well. The post above you mentioned forcing big gangs to only ally with smaller ones? How do you know one of our allies weren't small at some point? Are we supposed to drop alliance because they grew? Los Zetas was small yet we got accepted into the council, we just so happened to grow. These "new" gangs wouldn't have an issue with any of us but for some reason, every new gang wants the throne. Instead of making your own shit and going through the trials like everyone else, they always want to start shit with the bigger gangs and end up getting stomped out. If you don't come correct, you don't deserve to exist in the criminal underworld. The whole point of the council was to shape Los Santos into OUR ideal vision, not yours. We've went full scale war with PD for it, full scale war with other big gangs like Narcos, Monroes, Vice lords, and so many others. If we're openly speaking, the ones upset about the big alliance we have always say the same thing. "Gangs are pussies" or "Shouldn't have big alliances" in my mind that says two more things. "I'm upset because it isn't us" and "I want to be able to DM everyone without massive consequences" All of these people want the big gangs to fight each other instead of grooming themselves into becoming an ideal faction. Make no mistake, Yes, cops also get a foul treatment from gangs but these recent days, they've been sticking their nose where it doesn't belong. I watched them raid a drug rehab spot and search everyone looking for heavies. You can't do drugs icly and it's not allowed to get off them either apparently. "If they are truly untouchable then they wouldn't have trouble fending off threats from other rival gangs" let's talk about it.
-
I understand the annoyance that comes with getting robbed but let's be really honest, if you're being robbed that often, it's literally your fault. Since the moment i started this server, people have attempted to rob me and I talked my way out of it or revenge killed them and took my shit back. Either way, I barely ever get robbed or even attempted on. If you're running down the street on foot looking like a snack with a .50 on your back, yes you're going to get robbed. If you're going to drug labs without friends you're going to get robbed. There's way too many ways to avoid being robbed that it's seriously not worth a suggestion. If you get ran up on, you got caught lacking. Learn from it, make friends and you'll be fine. This is an RP server, socialize and get your own circle of people to hang around. There's very little reason to be alone most of the time. I keep repeating myself but I have no idea what else to say to this. The only time I got robbed is when I specifically went looking for it lol
-
/rvv should lower and raise radio volume but to be fair, I found it doesn't work all that well. I agree with the radio effect thing though, I hate having to turn my radio off because sometimes I can't tell the difference but that's likely a me problem

If the house is up for sale, when you go close to the door you should see a price tag. If you're somewhat further away from the door, most of the time it won't show until you get closer. The ones the Admins are about to put up for sale have a white marker on it but there's no definitive date they could go up, so no use in waiting on it. Also check the real estate section of the forums, there should be some houses for sale there.

@FatherOsborn Honestly, this post was regarding the community before the influx of new players. The things I spoke about was when the community was more stable and 12AM-4AM had around 50 or so players. The result remains the same as far as rule breaking and when it happens but if you really want to clean the community, staff has to play a more criminal approach rather than PD or MD. I agree with you and I'm sure the team has their hands full.
-
So I recently made a habit of playing ECRP at around 12-4AM eastern and I came across a few things that opened my eyes a bit and I'm pretty sure these are things that most of us know but has been left unsaid for whatever the reason may be. On my off time, I spend some time looking at the report section, both pending and archived reports and I can honestly say, it's quite literally some of the funniest and most entertaining shit to watch. I recently watched a guy in one of those videos go into the bank and started kicking and punching a guy who was getting his salary until he was injured, as wild as that is, it's funny as hell. Back on topic though, this is for the Admin team and how to clean up the community a lot more efficiently. I implore you guys to take some time one of these days and play at 12-4AM or so, maybe even further down until 6AM maybe? The amount of rule breakers is most intense during those times. It's not subtle at all, most of them are extremely blatant. I feel like Admins should step away from PD and MD and start playing on criminal characters and you'll find these people left and right. Go do a home invasion and see if the guy getting invaded won't break every single rule in the span of 30 minutes. Don't just rely on reports made by players, experience this for yourself sometimes and you'll find patterns and tricks to find them, things you will never obtain on a video made by another player. These types of things happen so commonly that I'm beginning to feel like the report section on forums is becoming obsolete. I mean in the grand scheme of things, I know that isn't correct but here's two reasons I don't report anyone. 1. I just can't afford the space to record all day 2. It happens so much that I'll end up posting reports multiple times a day and frankly, I'm not getting paid to do that, so hell naw. I want to actually play the game. I bet my bottom dollar that if you ask your community when they actually make reports, they'll basically respond with "When I get the most salty about it" They likely run into a lot more rule breakers than their reports mention, but they just can't be bothered to report multiple times a day, everyday. It's a hassle. This is why I say Admins should commonly play criminal characters and really step into the belly of the beast. Don't be LFB (No offense) and hide in the shadows, step into the real Los Santos you guys created and see what chaos lies underneath it. Participate in these wars, make drugs, rob stores, etc.
