You can do both. The house market is somewhat at random. If a player who owns a house becomes inactive for around 3 months or so I believe, his house goes up for sale or whenever the Admins decide to list it. You can also find homes around the city/up north that can be perhaps up for sale but buying them off of players is probably your best bet if you're in need one of asap. Just make sure you don't get scammed, look around the forums for common prices for houses and you should be fine. If I were you, I'd wait a little bit. With the current rise in players, houses will likely be a thing that's in a drought and the Admins will likely open up more houses for the community. If you go around the map, you'll sometimes see houses with white markers out front; those are houses that are due to go up for sale at some point.

Flint Capone comes back to Los Santos after the war with Vice Lords has ended and decided to address some things while the fire is still hot and have fun while doing so. The production on this track isn't the best but he decided to practice a bit by composing something he found relevant. He found speaking his mind was more important than worrying about obtaining high level production in such a short amount of time.

Of course it isn't, that's fair. I'm just saying that even if you're roleplaying as a female, you having a deep alpha male voice indicates you look like tyler1. All I'm saying is, use text if you want people to immerse in your RP. I also want to point out that my girlfriend played this server and wanted to Roleplay as an android and an Admin told her that it was somehow "Powergaming" to do that, because she was using a robotic voice changer. If that's the case, the same thing applies to grown men, roleplaying as females and using their deep ass voice in voip. There's no difference.
-
No matter how much RP we attempt to do, you're still Roleplaying with the person behind the monitor. There isn't much you can do about that one simple fact. Yes, we're portraying a character but the same thing applies in real life as well, there's Roleplay beyond a computer screen. Roleplay isn't as simple as "Only possible in a video game" You can Roleplay anything you want but hearing a mans voice in voip is the same as hearing a deep voice on a woman. No amount of RP in the world is going to stop you from being a grown ass man on a female character in my eyes and asking your player base to do that is just asking for too much. Either use text when you're on a female character or just don't RP as a female if you're going to feel some type of way that you're recognized as a man; that's quite simple actually.
-
If it's a female character, I'm knocking it down regardless and we'll work out the real gender details afterwards. No in all seriousness though, how can you say it's meta gaming if some big ass hairy alpha male is on a female character and when he talks, you realize it's a man? If I ERP with a female character and i hear a man grunting and shit on the mic, I'm moon walking away from that RP, sorry Admins.

Okay, I barely post here but this is actually not okay. As people have already mentioned before, dying by floating objects like sodium, blowing up randomly, DM's, etc are all going to play a factor but more importantly, ECRP has ALWAYS had an issue with the lack of Medic's being available. Most of the time when I'm down, I end up bleeding out because no one comes to save me, like ever. There's 200+ people that play here and with the lack of MD's, people are simply not getting help. Renovations have to happen before something like this is implemented. The faction needs to recruit a lot more to balance things out, otherwise it's going to get extremely frustrating. If you guys are worried about people not caring about their characters life, someone mentioned medical bills before and that could be a great idea honestly. We have to apply for gun licenses and drivers licenses, implement health insurance as well perhaps. The players want more content, not to be punished with more time wasting things. If you guys are worried about people going around killing each other 24/7, just implement a hard NCZ. Maybe something surrounding an entire area. This could be an area where people can mingle and socialize without the worry of "Hands up hrob" and you'll actually have a lot more role play. Perhaps allow the city to be drama free and let the drama commence up north. All I'm saying is, please remove this, it serves no purpose other than frustration at it's current point. MD needs to be renovated.

So, this won't be a long and detailed post, but I've been away for a while and I've been thinking about a few things that could possibly benefit the server in the short and long term. While playing on ECRP, from the moment i joined a few months ago, up to this point, a few things were noticed. Firstly, I noticed that this server is pushing towards heavy-RP but the approach is in my opinion, incorrect. You're trying to throw heavy RP habits onto a casual RP community. Most of the people I ran into on this server are here because of the huge differences between this and official GTA, it's almost an entirely new game; props to the developers for everything they've done so far. The fact that you can be a scripted in police officer and actually put someone in jail is sick. The fact that you respawn with an empty inventory at MD and not directly next to your previous opponent is amazing and the fact that everything is just so...detailed and different from the normal GTA is breath taking. With that being said, the server's problem isn't things that might be broken or things that need to be added in, it's the people that need reforming and to be motivated to jump into character. People get robbed so much because of the action that's involved, not because they actually need the items they're robbing off of said person. People in PD want action just as much as the criminals and you can tell the RP is casual because OOC salt gets thrown into most losing battles. When everyone first joined this server, it was mandatory that we write our character bio before you guys allow us on the server, but how many of us actually stick to that bio? A lot of us join, cause chaos or join a faction and abandon most thoughts of RP, only doing what's scripted in front of us and the factions have become extremely lazy in their approach and has been for a very long time. These will be my main and only suggestions I think the server needs in order to improve. 1. MD Excuse my french, but get off of your asses and actually hire people and put them through training. If you're not going to make time to do these things regardless of the reasoning, hand the job to someone that will and most of all, lower your expectations; give people a chance. When I first joined this server, it didn't take me long before I ended up joining a government faction. I was playing a character named Flint Johnson and I ended up joining LSC. I was hired by Cynthia and trained by James Carwyn. Keep in mind, this all happened extremely quick. I put my application in, it got reviewed and accepted, I did my interview, training and started work within a day. LSC from my experience has been producing players with quality RP in drones for as long as I've been here to witness it. Even when they no longer work at LSC, their presence and experience on the server is usually well off because they were given a chance and learned so much RP along the way. When I was there, Noah had the gavel at LSC and now it belongs to James Carwyn, who's been pushing for higher quality RP and working his ass off to keep LSC improving for as long as I've been there. I say that to say; take a lesson from LSC. You don't always have to hire the absolutely most qualified people, just hire people, train them and let them work. The server requires more MD and has needed it for a very long time, this needs to stop being ignored. My girlfriend signed up for MD and ended up quitting because the training took so long. Most people didn't feel like doing it or were too busy doing something else. 2. PD Seriously, I've seen such a huge improvement in the PD faction as of late. They acquired more members, reformatted the way they take people to prison and actually show up with back up most of the time. I rarely see cowboy lone-ranger cops anymore and I take my hat off to you guys for that. The only suggestion I have for you is to make an OOC agreement with criminals to let the north be the north. What I mean by that is this, PD response times are limited by the area of which you can patrol and the people you have online at the time. Unfortunately, compared to the city, the north side of the map is almost extremely lawless. It's to the point where most of the police shootouts happen up there and most of the people getting robbed are there too. Allow the north to be a gang infested cesspool, treat it like Mexico. This isn't to say "Don't do your job" but you will see the crime rate decrease if the amount of officers you have, patrol the city all at once, majority of the time. If you need to respond to a call up north, go for it, but don't prioritize it. This is an area where people go to make drugs, chop cars, rob people, shoot people and they do it whether you're there or not. I'm sure you guys notice it if you really think about it. Your chances of dying go up a lot up there in comparison to the city where people actually need you. Allow gangs to handle other gangs up north, as long as they're staying out of your way. I'm almost positive this will improve to overall quality of RP on the server, as backwards as that seems. People are more afraid of numbers than one good shooter. Protect innocents, don't meddle in gang affairs unless it spills out directly onto the civilians. This suggestion is not needed, I'm well aware but I thought I would put my finger on it anyway. I don't really have much to say when it comes to PD; they're improving but the OOC shit between you guys and criminals have to stop. *Edit* One more thing. If you want higher quality RP and you want to truly separate criminals from civilians and lower the rate of crime...Start actually suspending gun licenses. If I kill someone and you think I deserve a max prison sentence, you don't think it's odd that I can get out of jail, walk to a gun store and just buy a gun like I'm shopping at Walmart? This doesn't even have to be elaborated on, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Feel free to ignore most of the other shit I said above as that wasn't really important and I know making north a lawless zone is extremely unlikely and possibly a bad idea. T'was just a thought. 3. Staff I'll be blunt here, so I apologize if I offend anyone. Just. Do. Your. Job. Seriously, no one cares about how much you dislike a certain faction or a certain person. You have the privilege of still being able to actually play the game while you're also an Admin, don't abuse it. Use your head, not your emotions. There's so many staff members that do a swell job and this post is not for you. This is for the staff that wear their emotions on their sleeve. I'm talking to you MarcoD. You're not a bad guy, I'm sure of it. I'm sure you're a decent person outside of ECRP but on this server, you have an extremely sour reputation for being abusive. I've witnessed this first hand quite a few times. I've watched you die in character and teleport back to where you died, just to take your car. This happened at LSC. I watched you ruin so many RP situations that didn't involve you and I've seen clips of you just completely taking things too far. There was a report a while ago against some members of Los Zetas and because of this report, several members of the gang were banned Cynthia made the report but you were at the scene. Come to find out later, there was information left out of the report that justified the shootout that happened and neither you or Cynthia thought it was important to include it in the post. They got their ban lifted after Osvaldon investigated it further but you didn't think it was important to say anything? As a member of staff? As a person that was directly involved? I've spoken to officers that also said the same exact things about you, not just criminals. I'm not saying these types of staff members should be fired, but there needs to be a serious discussion about when and when not to use Admin mode and how to present yourselves to the community. Are you here to help the server and the people on it, or are you here to only punish people? 4. This goes for everyone Stop judging people's Roleplay so much. Stop telling people "That's not realistic" "That's horrible RP" so much. I get it, some things just go too far, like saying you're immune to bullets or power gaming to shit but constantly saying shit like "Gangs don't rob cops" or "gangs don't do it like this" needs to stop. If they aren't breaking rules, leave it alone. If they're actually trying to RP but you don't like it, leave it alone. If you're not involved in the Mafia, Cartel or any gang or criminal organization in real life, and you're also not a cop in real life..you don't know what the hell you're talking about. I remember when gangs used to war over territories on ECRP and you couldn't try to take someone's territory without a "Valid RP reason" so some players would literally have an inactive gang with two people owning a warehouse and hide so hard behind the rules, that it could never be taken. In REAL life, a valid reason to take your territory is as simple as wanting it. If you are pushing drugs on a corner and you're alone but it makes a ton of money, someone is going to take that shit from you. You don't have to offend them, kill one of their guys, nothing. If they want it, they're going to take it. You basically telling us that in order for us to take a territory, we basically have to be offended is ballcocks. I get why the rule is there and I think it should remain but I said that as a means to say, not everything is going to be realistic and you can't contradict yourself with unrealistic rules and constantly tell people how shit and unrealistic their RP is. If you think RP needs to be improved, lead by example or teach us how to do it. Don't expect us to act a certain way, when we don't know how to. This goes for everyone, not just staff or PD; criminals too and normal civilians too. We need to fill these factions in and teach people, not just punish them and outcast them because you think they aren't good enough. I can't edit this post or even type properly at the moment because it's 3:40AM and I can barely keep my eyes open, but hopefully you guys can get through the terrible grammar and understand what I'm trying to say. I'm not trying to rant, it just came out that way, I'm typing as the thoughts flow. This server is amazing and I truly want to see it continue growing. I'm just tired of all of the drama within the community and the confusion. This is a suggestion post but I also want a discussion as well. Even if you disagree with everything I said, please at the very least post your opinions and suggestions about what could improve ECRP below. If you guys have a problem with a specific person, faction, anything; post is below and try to talk it out in a humane manner. Let's settle everything all in one go.

Hello, I have few questions towards your faction/faction thread. 1. Do you acknowledge the fact Los Zetas is an IRL existing gang? Are you roleplaying them and by what signs and association you are representing them? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Zetas Yes, we're aware that Los Zetas is an IRL existing Cartel. We're specifically roleplaying a branch off of the actual gang that originated in Mexico and spread to the boarder crossing and reaching the US. Los Zetas operated within the US, sending Sicarios and specifically targeting people who have the ability to go back and forth from Mexico to to the US, thus having a passport to do so. 2. You mentioned Osiel Guillen in your faction lore. Do you acknowledge this is an existing real life person and what he it has to do something to the lore itself/ or the actual RP'ed gang ICly? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osiel_Cárdenas_Guillén Correct, Osiel Guillen is one of the founders of Los Zetas as a whole, branching off from the Military and working for the gulf cartel for some time, eventually swallowing part of the drug trade. He's widely responsible for the expansion of Zetas into the united states as well as the bloodshed around the boarder crossings, he's also responsible for some of the multiple tunnels gangs use to smuggle drugs from Mexico to the US. He's part of our lore because he's the founder of the overall cartel and since our group is somewhat based on realism, we chose not to leave that out. 3. Are you actually roleplaying Los Zetas criminal syndicate? Do your gang core has hispanic/mexican/south American nationality members and how do you represent the gang in the fact that the roots of the lore comes from Mexico? Yes, our gang is extremely diverse currently though, we have some Hispanic and South American members along with a ton of other nationalities. We chose not to leave certain people out because we're specifically a Los Santos branch. 4. Since you mentioned that you are de jure heavy RP faction, have you seen and acknowledge the rule of the server number 1.3 and its sub points? How does that rule corelates with the fact that your faction states its heavy RP? Example : 1.3 Character creation and property 1.3.1 Character names must be realistic and resemble real world names, players may use national names. 1.3.2 Character names cannot be names of famous people (ex.: celebrities, politicians, historical personalities). Yes, that's been looked over and our members have realistic names and we have no names of famous people within our members. Everyone's name may be unique to some degrees but nothing symbolizing Celebs, Politicians, Historical figures, etc. We are a heavy RP gang, which means our entire Lore is based off of the actual Z's Cartel and we act accordingly. Bold in our approach from the murders, to RP beheadings, kidnapping, Assassination, etc. 5. What has the youtube link does have something related to the thread? (the youtube link with the song is in fact associated with Italian gangs and Italian gangs has barely nothing similar to the schemes how South American cartels were working). The YouTube link is a song from God Father which is associated with Italian gangs but it's words are specifically not in Italian, the lyrics are more of the concern and the overall feel of it. Italian gangs have a lot of things similar to how South American cartels run their business. Yes, Italian gangs tend to blend into the shadows a bit more until John Gotti took the helm at some point and made the Mafia a widely known thing. Cartels are more open and bold in their approach. You also have to keep in mind that a wide majority of the drugs that gangs like that sell on the streets are a direct link to Mexican and Cuban Cartels, which is responsible for a majority of the cocaine and heroin usage in the US. Besides our branch of Sicario's, most of our gangs ranks are in English in order to not confuse our American and Russian members. We want people to be able to look at our ranks and know exactly what it means; as well as the fact that even if we used Spanish wording, it would directly translate to what we have now. So far we have Dons, Underboss, Captains, Enforcers, Sicarios, Soldiers and prospects, with more ranks coming within the future once things are a bit settled and our growing slows down a bit. Hopefully I answered your questions accordingly and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask in case I missed anything. @DISCO

Actually love this idea. One of my favorite movies too haha. If you need help with anything, let us know. Recruiting, etc

+1 I don't see why it was removed to begin with. If two of the same types of pistols had 10 ammo, you could literally transfer the bullets into one clip

Go to the very left (Very beginning) in tops. From the first piece of clothing, count all the way to number 18, pick that and choose an undershirt. From there, the undershirt will remain with most of the suit tops and jackets.

Sup bro, use tab while in the mod menu

What do you mean? No faction can import guns currently.

I'm actually borderline speechless guys, very awesome thread and back story. Respect level +9000

Something Needs to Be Done About Robbing RP
MrUntouchable215 replied to xxStallingCoinxx's topic in Archive
First off, I want to start off by saying I'm sorry that's been happening. Unfortunately, there are a lot of robberies going around on a very consistent basis, especially at areas such as the farm and drug labs and it can be a very annoying thing, especially when it feels like there's no real reason or cause. With all of that being said, there's absolutely nothing you can do about that other than moving smarter. I might Jinx myself here but I have never been outright robbed in my entirety of this server. I have a character with 60k XP and another with quite a bit as well. I drive around wherever I want and do what I want but you have to be street smart. I've been in situations where I straight up talked my way out of getting robbed by complimenting the person attempting to rob me "Damn bro you caught me slipping, I like how you move. I understand bro, we all gotta eat" in situations like that, you're creating rapport with the person holding you up. People tend to get salty ICly and oocly in those situations, and proceed to either talk shit or say the wrong things, which gives the robbers no incentive to leave your shit alone. Yes, it's annoying but you have to understand, a lot of the robberies that go around are from low level street dealers and most of the time, they're not always looking for your cash, it's that big ass .50 on your hip. When I robbed people back then, I wanted their guns. If I saw someone flashing an AK, shotgun or some shit or they had a pistol on their back, my first thought is to take it from them. A friend of mine told me this IRL, "Walking around with a gun makes you feel safe, so safe that you'll occasionally do things you'd never do and go places you would weary of" just move smarter and you won't find yourself getting robbed a lot. -
First off, I want to clear some things up. I'm not trying to hijack the posts that already exists but instead, I want to continue forward with the post I made before and perhaps offer some type of insight and suggestions that we can debate on, discuss and hopefully come to some type of agreement. LSPD improvement suggestions: First off, I want to start by saying that I've been noticing a great show of power by the PD as of recently. The post I made before, my point still stands but I know it seems like I'm completely bashing PD and that's not my goal, I simply wanted to point out the specific issues I've been having and figured some others would feel the same and with that being said, I want to elaborate on the RP of the PD first. I would like to see more Roleplay from PD as a whole. I think that officers should add a little spice to their Roleplay by being required to investigate further into a situation, rather than assume and decide. See we have this handy thing called /do which requires you to be honest in almost every situation but it's basically a lie detector that can be used to incriminate anyone about anything. Now I don't think it's typically bad that /do is a thing, I think that it should definitely be a huge part of the Roleplay process but I also feel like the officer themselves should have to read the situation, ask questions from every side of the fence without solely relying on the /do command. I also feel like suspects should be taken into an interrogation room more often for questioning and evidence. With all of that being said, I also noticed a few things on the faction menu. The rank list consists of many things like P1, P2, P3, Cadets, lieutenants and a few others. My point is, I feel as if there's so much room to be creative in that aspect as well by either changing some rank names or expanding on the ranks themselves. I would love to see dedicated interrogators, special crime units, DNA Forensics that use /do for fingerprints and DNA as a whole. I feel like swat should only be called for raids on labs and chopshops and other higher up criminal activity. The entire point here is, there's so much room to be more creative with the Roleplay rather than the standard practice that's currently being used and by no means am I saying it's currently too lazy but with the criminals having to compete for official, I feel like all factions should have to have larger standards going forward. Secondly, people have mentioned this before and I want to elaborate further. Police have body armor, tasers, carbines, sniper rifles, armored vehicles and very strong cruisers, all free of charge. You have to draw the line somewhere and make some of these things cost something. I've never seen an officer come to LSC for a vehicle repair because they can simply respawn the vehicle and the same thing goes for many factions. LSC has a contract with PD and MD that allows free labor for both, yet it's only done when the officer is off duty. I would like to see them being required to either pay for a new cruiser or get it repaired like everyone else. I suggest doing that by any means. Police should have to pay for their heavy weapons as well, allowing PD to have their own warehouse (Armory) and Admins should set the prices to what they think it should be. I don't care if the prices are lower than ours, please at the very least just pay for it. Your guns, ammo and body armor should have a cost just like everyone else. People can discuss thing and go into more details in the comment section as well. Finally, I think you guys should start working on that prison faction. People get locked up all of the time, having guards and a warden starting off could give prison some type of purpose other than cold hearted loneliness. I also think you should extend prison sentences depending on the crime (More than two hours for HEAVY crimes) and allow some type of way to get off on good behavior. Perhaps you could script in some ways to work like the side jobs around the city but it'll be within prison. The more you grind it out, the lower your time becomes and it'll also add some type of activity other than people alt tabbing and watching shit until the sentence is done. With THAT being said, I think you should disable the NCZ for prison but also prevent the gates from auto opening and closing for anyone. Perhaps you could add gates like you have in LSC to where you have to use /gatemech to even open it. This will give the guards some purpose, while also allowing criminals to do actual jail shit like fighting and getting caught by a guard means risking your sentence rising or going back to where it was before. ( Rising as in, if you're at 10 minutes left and you were caught starting a fight, your time may raise by another 30 minutes). This will also allow possible prison breaks with hostage situations being more relevant and purposeful for criminals. I know what you're thinking by this point and it's "That's going to get out of control fast and annoying" but keep reading. This is where swat comes in as well. In order to balance it out, you could give the prison guards swat abilities, but obviously change the name to something other than Swat within the faction. This will deter criminals from attempting to escape while also having the chance to do so, even if the chance is small. (A prison break is not meant to be easy). To go further on, this will also take some pressure off of Admins, preventing players from contacting them asking for permission. Criminal Improvement Suggestions: This one is a bit more clean cut and simple, so it will be a shorter post. Firstly, I'm sure we can all agree that Criminals need more things to do other than the standard Gang Wars, Drug labs and Store robbing, etc. Simply put, I understand that within a Roleplay server, it's up to the players to RP out some things to do; I get that. I also get that beyond all of that, you eventually find yourself with a lot of down time because simply put, you ran out of shit to do and making money as a criminal is just toxic. All of us have the ability to do some side businesses like flipping cars, houses and such, but at that point, what separates criminals from civilians other than the petty crimes? Drugs should be more of a street dealing thing, rather than a simple NPC drop off, I'm sure most of us can agree with that, right? Weed has no effect and the other effects on the various other drugs are either useless or extremely weak with a huge drawback. No one wants to spend big cash on pounds of weed because it's essentially useless. I say do away with the drug drop offs and give drugs and street dealing a better chance. Remember, we mentioned how PD has all of these awesome toys right? Criminals want the same thing, just in a different light. Add Steriods back into the fold and allow it to give armor but make it time consuming to create. Allow LSD to automatically raise the sound range just a bit. Extacy should allow you to run faster with the drawback of having your driving impaired, Meth should simply fuck you up, no other effects and the same with the even harder drugs. Perhaps Cocaine on the other hand should also give you armor, a bigger effect than steriods but should slowly drain HP by a small but effective percentage until you hit 50% and then it stops. Please comment suggestions and changes to this in the comment section as well. Secondly, we need gang scripts for drug dealing and gun running as well. Yes, there's nothing like cold hard cash but just like mechanics have /mechoffer, I feel like we should be able to do exchanges as well. Having the ability to do something like /paycrim 74 5000 should allow the money to go straight into an offshore account but having the drawback of it taking out some gang tax while /pay would be cold cash with no tax on it. ( The amount of Tax should be effective to the point where you'll still prefer cash over money wiring) This will allow the ability to do gun running on a larger and more effective scale. Imagine running a side business and your job was to deliver guns to people who need it. You have a shady black burrito and you're coming to drop off a pistol to someone who just got dropped off at MD, just got out of prison or anything really. He won't have cash on him at the time, so right now, you would have to trust him to pay later. With a script however, he could pay you straight from his account with no time wasted and no trust needed. You could use this method for drug dealing as well, considering most of the time, people can't sell drugs on the street because people don't carry around pocket cash so this usually involves a trip to the ATM, which is a huge hassle. Selling drugs at a party would make more sense that way as well. Of course, you could also add a rule to state that you cannot force someone to do /paycrim in the midst of a robbery. ( I have more to add on this and I REALLY need to edit it and fix the grammar but i'm so tired right now, that I just can't manage it at the moment. I'll wake up and edit it, I promise but for now, just bare with it please, I appreciate your time)

Character Bio: What's up world, the name's Shotty Johnson if you don't already know. Let me tell you a bit about myself and how I ended up here in Los Santos rolling with a Cartel of all things. See, I grew up in Philadelphia, a big city in the heart of Pennsylvania. The life in Philadelphia varies depending on where you grew up. For me? I grew up in a neighborhood we called 'The Bottom', a crime and drug infested area around the 33rd-40th streets of West Philadelphia. You couldn't walk to the Papi store without seeing someone serving a fiend or getting booked by the Police. See growing up in poverty, I know how it feels to have nothing to your name, no money, living off of public assistance, just living off of scraps really. I know what it's like to have no heat in the winter, having to open the oven door all night just to heat up the house. If I were to think back as to how all of this shit began in my life, I would tell you that this all began from childhood leading up to the age of 18. Specifically from Middle school on forward. The middle school I used to go to was called George W. Pepper Middle School and I can honestly say, that school molded the best and worst parts of my life. See most people in the school just wanted to find a way that they belong. The boys and girls in the school were separated into different sections, having no contact with each other. So as you can imagine with teenage boys all squeezed together in a classroom of 20 or so seats, fights broke out often for the silliest of shit. Everyone wanted to be the most popular and most feared guy in school and so began the the start of the class separations from best to worse. The children who had the best academics and behavior were placed into numbered class rooms ranging from B-38 to B-1; the lower the number, the lower the expectations. See, this was a way to keep the "bad apples" from spreading their dirt onto the other children, you can imagine how that turned out. The classes ended up seeing themselves as gangs rather than students and and as that began, the Bad Apples had beef with each other, specifically the lower classes versus the higher classes. I personally fit right into the middle of it all. I started off in that school as a sweet kid. I did my work when it was given and I was somewhat of a teachers pet for a while and during 6th grade, something just...changed me. I realized soon that being the type of person that I was just didn't cut it. I used to get bullied all throughout 5th grade and by the next year, I was a totally different person. I never bullied anyone, but I eventually became the Bullies Bully, you know? I began rolling with the hardest kids in the school, beating up people, selling drugs inside of school, skipping class almost every single day and boosting cars on my off days. It was around this time that my brother Flint came into the fold and and taught me all about the streets and how to move inside of the cracks of the underworld. See, Flint was into all types of deep shit, from petty theft, drug dealing, murder and armed robbery. He taught me how to kill someone without getting caught, how to torture the truth out of almost anyone and how to clean my money through laundering in order to turn cold hard illegal cash into that pure legal shit we use to buy all of our fancy clothing and nice cars. Flint and I rolled together for years man, too many to count and all of a sudden he gets out of prison after an Armed Robbery charge and decides to turn his life around. He began working at LSC some years back and since then, we barely even talk, he moved to Cali and I'm stuck in Philly. Now at this point, I'm left alone in the streets to fend for myself. Enemies are at every turn and wanted by the Police. I had to damn near keep one eye open when I slept and I would circle the block multiple times before I even park my car to go inside the crib to sleep; Cautious wasn't even the word for it at that point, I was fucking paranoid. Let's fast forward a few months, I'm broke as hell and still driving around my busted up Chino; shit had to change. I decided to pack up all of my shit and took a 39 hour drive to Los Santos, California, I was desperate. I was homeless for a few months, living out of my Chino and simply doing petty crimes at this point, nothing major as the LSPD turned out to be a lot more strict and organized than the PD back in Philadelphia, being a criminal was tough. I ended up making some good friends and business partners and my life took a huge turn. This is when I met Samo from Narcos, one of the biggest and boldest gang leaders around. I mean this guy was driving a super car, rolled around with a pretty chick in the passenger seat who did dirt just as much as he did. He was in all types of shit, from gun running to huge drug shipments and that's when it clicked, a light bulb went off in my head and I said the words "Samo, can I join your crew?" that simple. He took me in with open arms, showed me the ins and outs and after that, I was now no longer just an ordinary Criminal...I was Shotty Johnson, an established name in the streets. I made it a goal to myself that I would give this gang shit everything I had. My blood, my tears, my bullets, everything. If I was going to ride, I was going to ride hard and rep this shit like no one's ever seen. During that time, we had gang war after gang war, fighting hard and desperately to obtain and maintain territory. Sadly though, during that time, Samo ended up leaving the city on business and things began falling apart from the inside out. We were losing more battles than before and although we put up a great fight, we just didn't have enough men anymore to maintain our territory. There was some good that came out of it all though, I gained a family within that time frame, a group of people who were all like minded and we decided to break off and do our own thing and not just anything, we decided to found a gang, a branch off of a Mexican cartel called Los Zetas. (( Visit Los Zetas Bio for a more in depth description of our gang )). Once we founded Los Zetas, it surprised me how fast things began to change. We were getting huge extremely fast, peaking at around 49 members in our first two weeks but something began to change me. I stopped caring about the power and money and my heart began leaning towards solidifying the safety and well being of our organization. Los Zetas is a family to me, people who deserve to be protected, no matter what type of background they may have; they belong here. The Now: So this is me now, I'm still trying to get things together but I've made it so far from where I was in Philly and my life ended up on the opposite side of the law but if I'm being honest with you? Man, I love this Gangsta shit, I feel like Pablo Escobar. - Shotty
