Yeah it got cleared up in a report. Any vehicle can go offroad regardless of type. I'm not too sure when the rule got changed. But I do agree with you regarding the limits of a supercar to go up a mountain and how it's unrealistic.

It may just be the voyuer in me but personally I'd like to be able to view from a distance sometimes. Could simply be the rifle scope already within the game for example. Name tags/ids would ideally NOT appear when viewed through the scope.

Well your mic had to be active, so yes you could in theory be in something else with somebody who is on the other side of the map but when you talked the person beside would hear what you say if you get what I mean. This in itself would level the playing ground for people who don't want to forced into a discord as at least you would know if they are planning to rob you etc Yes you could use text based meta etc but it was pretty solid from my experience. Being in a discord while playing is far too much of temptation for some play to win mentalitys. And really the views that some people have that's it's only a bit of meta is wrong imo. And everyone has experienced people turning up "randomly" when your in a RP situation.

When I played Arma 2 in a realism server it was required for all people in the server to be in teamspeak or it automatically kicked them from the server. I'm not sure of the mod they were using. It was set up that you could hear people talking up to a certain distance much like IRL and pretty much eradicated meta gaming and honestly I had some of the most immersive enjoyable gameplay I can recall. Due to imo opinion rampant meta gaming by some.. I think if something similar to this could be implemented it would increase the RP experience of everyone.

I know it's a different game but it was the same in dayz . The first person servers were so much more intense. If you can see them, they can see you. And if you peak there is both risk and reward. I actually spent a few hours in first person today. Quite enjoyed it.

Id like to give a go to be honest. But a lot of players feel they need that advantage of looking over walls etc. and dont want the immersion.

Even that's too expensive. Just reduce the PD armour to 25 and be done with it. Give a criminal a chance of downing a cop with a small firearm.

+1 , Not sure if this is the case at the moment but if your not moving or talking it might be good to have no name tag. For example I'm hiding in a bush and don't want a name tag floating above my head.

-1 You couldn't trust people not to fail RP with them. You need to ground the world somewhat in reality. Yes the cops are OP but you just got to learn how to counter them.

Also you do know you can turn your phone off to stop them from tracking you? Not ideal but I wasn't aware of that for so long.

+1 and also the fact when you buy a new phone it's registered with the cops under your name is OP also.
