  1. -1 players cant be trusted with bleets, as it was seen before they were removed
  2. Update 27/02/2019: Updated the script to work with all screen resolutions and added Image.exe to the zip file, which allows you to run the script without installing Autohotkey ( USE EXE AT YOUR OWN RISK ), the .exe is not malicious but if you do not trust me, you can always use the code included in the original post or the Image.ahk.
  3. If it was scenario like LSC and Bayview, I would take it as IC issue, where the Weazel would have a competition, but seeing how Weazel is a monopoly at this stage, I doubt this can be sorted ICly. The only option would be Government but Government is pretty much non functional at the moment, they just exist on paper but don't have any valuable presence/impact IG
  4. 1. I have recently bought a blip from Weazel News, I was informed that the service fee which is set by the server is 4,000$. Upon setting up the agreement with the Weazel News employee, the final offer cost me 12,000$ for a blip that was on the map for 4 days. While I don't mind paying for a blip and I think its a good addition to the server ( especially if more blips are allowed ) there was something that kinda struck me as wrong. The 12,000$ that I paid to the Weazel News can be split in 2 parts, service fee and employee fee, I paid 4,000$ Service fee which goes to the server and 8,000$ which go to the employee. I believe this is wrong to the other government factions, because a Weazel News employee earned a full salary just in 20 minutes of placing blip with me, ( 15 of which were spent because we couldn't find a proper blip ). The cost of the blip should be set by the server and less of it should go into the employee salary as its unrealistic for the little amount of work they do and they have no competition that they have to adjust their price too. ------------------------------------------------------------ 2. I have noticed that the Weazel News has gone lazy recently in their newspaper production section, we haven't had a newspaper in a month now and the last few newspapers were written by same 2 or so people. Considering that News is literally in the name and that the faction hasn't been pushing out them recently ( apart from Dalton doing the coverage of the latest event ), maybe there should be an announcement from the leadership as to why they are not giving out the newspapers or in the worst case, the replacement of the leadership if they don't have time for it anymore, which, looking at the activity of PBAJ, both in her IG and forum/admin presence, that might be the case.
  5. It has come to my attention that while the rule book only mentions super cars, other types of vehicles are being counted into the non-rp rule. Instead of having the example of the upper bound vehicle value, it should instead use lower bound vehicle value, If you for example have min value at which the rule starts happening and the max value, you don't provide max value as the example, because that gives the impression to the players that provided value is the min/lower bound and not the max/upper bound. The rule should be changed so its not up to the admin on scene or handling report to decide if the player should be punished or not, the rule should always be explained in full to the player, so the player can avoid breaking the rule in the first place and not be up to the mood/relationship with the admin, because lets be honest, even if we try so much, people are always biased. PS. I am only talking about the last part of the non-rp rule example, which states that use of super vehicles for ramming is considered non-rp due to the cost associated with repairing them ( Which a very rich person could also ignore, considering said repair or even replacement of the super vehicle might mean nothing to their wallet )
  6. Golf cant just be implemented from the singleplayer, the whole thing has to be scripted from scratch apart from using gta v models for golf ball and clubs
  7. /checkparkingpay is the command
  8. I have asked Osvaldon about this, since he does most of the refunds, he said that they are getting refunded for the whole value of loan - the scam limit
  9. Hello, as someone who has owned a loan company, currently a co-owner of one and has given out several loans in the past, I would like to talk about the dire situation of loan companies at the moment. There are this issues with the loans currently. 1. Anyone can give out loans RPly without paying any taxes on the profit and if the person receiving loan doesn't pay back, the loan giver can request a refund. 2. The refunds for the loans are handled OOCly and not ICly which takes a long time, instead of loan companies seizing assets. 3. Because the refunds are being handled OOCly, we are being hit with 15k scam limit, which means that no matter what, if the person doesn't pay the loan, 15k are being taken away from you, because refunds only refund loaned money and not loaned money + profit. 4. When the loan is paid off, a certain % ( not known to me at the moment ) of the loan goes into your salary where you are taxed at 35% for it, because who doesn't go over 1 mil in assets with loan company, the rest goes straight into your bank. If we moved asset collection to be handled ICly or a better OOC system, where only people with loan companies can request , problem 1, 2, 3 would be solved by that. As for the problem 4, I don't know the exact %, but I believe that only profit should be taxed at maximum, so if I give out 100k at 15%, I earn 15k profit and those 15k should be taxed or less and nothing more. ( This might already happen, we don't have exact numbers ) And I would like to point out that, I am not making this post just because I want to make profit, if I wanted I could just give money in hand and RP giving out the loans, but because of me being a co-owner of a business, I want to actually use that business and not just have it as a fancy office as I joke around with it.
  10. Cringe
  11. I only support this idea if the super cars would be auctioned once a month by the server owners with the exception that only people who don't have a super car already on any of their characters can bid. That way people that have advantage in money and could afford 2 or more super cars, wouldn't create monopoly by buying all the new auctioned super cars. Also prohibit giving someone 10 millions when you already have a super so they can bid for you and then give the vehicle to you once they win. +1
  12. -1 24 hours is already too long and sometimes you get killed for something that you already forgot about.
  13. Yes, as long as you dont swap over
  14. Head admins can help with the verification too, but they will have to do it everytime, sadly.
  15. It seems that 2FA has been removed, as there is no way to enable it
  16. My point was that with the SMS's you can expect some privacy from the snooping admins/staff team, the way it should be, so if it ever comes to the implementation of the Lifeinvader, I would like that privacy to stay with the users, only allowing head/senior admins or higher to see IC communications between the players. I also didn't like the tone the message was written in, it seems somewhat hostile and I don't think that a member of a staff team should display that.
  17. For the IC messaging, just so you know, Admins cant see IG phone messages so you could MG or mix IC/OOC all you want in them, but admins cant do anything about it, only developers can see the messages
  18. -1 Metrics like IG reports and forum reports already impact decisions from higher ups who to promote or not way to much. Someone who is respected and liked in community for being fair might not get promoted because they would be lacking the metrics, but another less liked member of the staff team could get promoted easily by just "no-lifing" forum and IG reports.
  19. -1 While variety is good, we shouldn't bring more of the powerful weapons in game. The criminals should only have pistols with the except few that have more powerful weapons, but in our situation we have criminal factions selling all weapons they have access too, to anyone without any restrictions, flooding the server with AK's/SMG's
  20. Nice to see that a faction that isn't all about killing, robbing people and baiting cops got official and that you guys try to limit your exposure as much as possible. Hope to see much from it
  21. -1 This is RP server not an RPG one, so such survival aspects shouldn't be implemented in my opinion, if you want to RP being hungry and making meals then do so, I have done it in a past and it was a great RP.
  22. -1 from me, while the PD needs to forget the location of the drug labs, why isn't it the same for the criminals? If you die at the drug spot because of a conflict with the cops or another criminal faction, you can just go back 30 minutes later knowing the location.
  23. If you’re having connection issues with RageMP or EclipseRP, there is one solution I have found to work 100% of the time. I have tested it 20 times, it shouldn’t cause any further issues for anybody and should work for everyone. When playing GTAV through RageMP make sure you have your DISPLAY settings set to WINDOWED BORDERLESS. Connect to the server as usual and wait for the first error, “connection failed, retrying” something like that. When you see this immediately press the HOME button or whichever button you have that opens the ROCKSTAR SOCIAL WINDOW, I have found this works over steam overlay as it’s the only overlay that freezes the game in the background. Once you have the ROCKSTAR SOCIAL WINDOW open, wait for around 20-30 seconds and then press ESC. This will return you to the game, wait another 5-10 seconds and the Eclipse login screen will appear. If this doesn’t work for you, then I say you didn’t wait long enough in the ROCKSTAR SOCIAL WINDOW
  24. -1 if you are worried about sensitive data, use codenames or use phones
