Awazki Posted January 18, 2020 Report Posted January 18, 2020 I | Personal life The year was 1958 when Lewis Brandon was born. His mother was rich and worked as a lawyer, but he doesn't know anything about his father. When Lewis turned 23, he was in financial difficulties, his mother didn't help him. One day Lewis bought a gun from a small side street and went home. He hid the gun in his drawer, he didn't plan to do anything with it. A week, two passed, with only $ 0.52 left in his bank account, he didn't have money to rent an apartment, he didn't even have money for food. He took the gun and went to the gas station next to the house, which he robbed. He got $ 13,000. He had no experience in it, so he was caught by the police quite quickly. When his mother heard about it, she became ashamed and committed suicide. After being released from prison, Lewis decided he no longer wanted to live in this city and packed his belongings, bought a plane ticket and flew to Los Santos. II | First months in the city When he got there, he met a lot of people. One of the first people he met was Shawn Garcia. Shawn was a member of the gang, which was the Almighty Vice Lord Nation. Soon Shawn also talked to gang leaders to get Lewis a place in this gang. A few moments later, Lewis was already traveling with AVLN, committing crimes and enjoying life. There were several meetings and Lewis met more people in the city. Shawn and Lewis became best friends. A few months later, Shawn saw that this gang didn't have enough potential and he left. Shawn had previously been a member of the Los Santos Irish Mob at Los Santos and returned. When Lewis heard that Shawn was no longer in the Almighty Vice Lord Nation, he also left because he felt he that he doesn't belong there anymore. He wrote to Shawn and once again Shawn helped him and he became a member of the Irish gang. Irish was the gang where Lewis wanted to show others what he was actually capable of III | PART 1. | Los Santos Irish Mob In this gang, he listened to what was said, trying to learn from others as much as possible. He was involved in numerous shootings, robberies and was arrested quite a number of times. There were constant changes within the gang. The biggest change was the change of gang Chief. Gaius resigned and Dwayne Donovan, a well-known criminal, led the gang. He was helped by Faith, Tyrone, and Dardan. Lewis was successful and ended up in high command, becoming a Made Man and the head of the recruitment. Meanwhile, there was a change of leadership again, and Dwayne gave his place to Dardan, who was able to quarrel with the other gangs. The Irish went to war against Los Zetas and The Clowns. After that, Dwayne came and took the gang back, trying to rebuild peace. III | PART 2. | Who is the traitor? Somebody snitched to The Clowns and Los Zetas, but the real question is who? Lewis and his good friend Al Romano were assigned to find that out. Lewis, Al, Dwayne, and Mia spoke, trying to find out who is betraying them. They made a list of suspicious people and then they decided to torture them... Now it was just about finding out who is loyal and who isn't. Tortures didn't work and they didn't find the traitor. One day Lewis was driving around the city with one of his gang companions and he found out that he was suspicious. After looking into it, they found out that he betrayed and was the snitch. IV | The beginning of The Rooks In a meeting with some of the gang members (Dardan Mayor, Lewis Brandon, Dwayne Donovan, Mia Donovan, Leo Kress, Paul Escobar, Dalmat Mayor) it came out that Dwayne is accusing Dardan's son of treason. Dardan got very angry about it and told Dwayne to put his hands up and he should get on his knees. Then there formed two groups: Leo Kresas, Paul Escobar, Dalmat Mayor, Dardan Mayor stayed together. Dardan Mayor: "Lewis, Dwayne, Mia, on the fucking ground, lower your pistols!" Mia Donovan, Dwayne Donovan, and Lewis Brandon stayed in the other group. Dardan shot Dwayne with a shotgun, then Dardan's son called the police and they fled. Dwayne was given first aid by the police and Lewis rushed to the hospital, Mia was left to the scene in shock. After several stitches to Dwayne's wound, Dwayne and Lewis returned to their original place. To their surprise, Dardan and Dalmat had returned, holding Mia hostage... Dwayne was able to take Dalmat hostage. They exchanged hostages with Dardan and at the end of it, Dardan shot Dwayne and escaped again. Lewis and Mia helped Dwayne and rushed to the hospital again. Dwayne underwent several surgeries and was in the hospital for a long time. It was a miracle that he survived! When Dwayne got out of the hospital, Jimmy Walsh joined their group. They just went to a random place to talk and to find out their plans for the future. They also needed someone who knew what was going on in Irish, Lewis suggested he should take Al Romano into the gang because he was loyal to Dwayne. At first, he didn't know if he can trust him, but after a while, he was in. Al Romano also suggested that Neil Fergus should be taken in. Al Romano and Neil Fergus snitched on information about what was happening in Irish, trying to turn people against Dardan. For a while The Rooks were known as "Dwayne's Crew", but as time went on, it slowly grew in numbers. At first, it consisted only of the founding members being: Dwayne Donovan, Mia Donovan, Jimmy Walsh, Al Romano, Lewis Brandon, Neil Fergus and a few more. As the crew got bigger, the group knew they needed to officially make a new gang and correct what the Irish could not. Multiple different names were said as ideas such as Imperium, Liberty, and The Family, but none of them felt right. Eventually, one name, in particular, stuck out and represented the organization more than the rest. V | Leaving The Rooks Everything was going well, but there was going on rumors that The Rooks will disband... Lewis was confused for a very long time, trying to understand what's going on. One day, he came woke up, somebody told him that everybody from old high-command (Mia Donovan, Al Romano, Dwayne Donovan) had left and Lewis was the only one who stayed. Dwayne had given the leadership to Dmitri Leroy. Lewis went to the beach... He wanted to think about life and everything that's going on... He sat down, he thought about many things, about The Rooks future: "Is this Dmitri guy a good leader?", "Can I trust this guy?", "IS THE ROOKS STABLE ANYMORE?", "Why did Dwayne betray me? Us? WHY?" He... just... didn't... know... And then he made a decision... He didn't think that The Rooks is stable anymore, so he decided to leave. It was the saddest thing ever. V | Short Story | Joining Los Santos Customs. Lewis was hanging around alone a lot. He had no family, nobody to trust anymore. One day he decided that it's time to make change in his life. He joined Los Santos Customs, he tried to turn a new page in his life. He got accepted and he started to work there. A few weeks passed, but he still didn't feel right. So he decided, if he wants to become a new man, then he needs to change his name as well. He changed his name to Lewis Clarke. Finally, he felt good. He worked at LSC around 18 months and received Roadside Expert because of that... After 18 months his bad habits started to come back. He started to engage in criminal activity again.. And that was fatal for his job. He murdered a man, got arrested for that. He knew that he'll get lose his job if his bosses find out, so he decided to resign peacefully. Acting owner Jamie Richardsons said that it was sad and he would have gotten a promotion to Supervisor rank. VI | The guy who returned Soon he contacted current The Rooks member and his good friend Dante Kalshnikov who was Consligliere in The Rooks. He didn't have the ambition to join, he just wanted to hang around with somebody. After a few months, he realized that Dmitri has great leadership skills and wanted to join back in. He asked Dmitri for a meeting. Dmitri was happy when he head that Lewis wants to join back and Lewis got into The Rooks again. Lewis' main purpose now is to serve The Rooks as good as he can and be loyal to the family. 22 4
HeyRavyn Posted January 29, 2020 Report Posted January 29, 2020 With our numbers growing, more meetings were taking place. We brought in old friends and new faces, and began working on putting our strengths to work, training and improving in areas we needed. Things were starting to fall into place even when it didn't seem as though they were. With new faces came more responsibility, and safeguards to ensure things didn't cause too many waves. We met with other allies, had some laughs, some fun and made quick work of dealing with problems that arose when needed. Ambushes, set ups, raids and anything else that came our way was dealt with. 8

LokiNoctem Posted February 1, 2020 Report Posted February 1, 2020 Chapter 3 : Rooking and Rolling One morning after being a few month back on the tracks of a ‘normal’ life, Lucas received a strange text from the U.S. A bit confused of who would be contacting him he arranged a phone call with the mysterious individual. The phone rang at the said time, Lucas mind were rushing to try and guess who it could be. But it didn’t required him much efforts to recognise to voice of Sean, with whom he knew the hardship of being a prospect back in the Outlaws MC. His old friend did not forgot him, he as well took some time from partying and racing and he told Lucas he had a business opportunity he was willing to come back to Los Santos. Not much convincing was needed to get Lucas back in the plane. Lucas was briefed by Sean about what he was now… a Rook. Lucas knew who they were as he used to partake to the meetings with the other gang of the city while being Sergeant at Arms back in the day. Who they were and what they were about wasn’t clear at the time though… He introduced him to some of the other members and he spent several weeks with them so they could get to know him. One day, as he was getting ready for another night of work, Sean knocked on his door and told him to follow him with a straight face. Lucas didn’t know much of what was going on but he just followed as usual. They went up to the dam above town, they took some rusty stairs to a maintenance entrance. Entering the room he was faced by a Rook committee all with straight faces, he knew some of them, others he didn’t. What happened there aren’t to be disclosed in any public statement. You just need to know that he walked out on his feet with a new kind of family…. It was time for Lucas to meet old friends and mix them with new ones. It was time to Rook & Roll. to continue….. Magz Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 (edited) Jack Hawk Part One Part Two A few weeks went by since Dwayne and his high command stepped down, leaving the Rooks in control of Dmitri and things were looking very promising. Dmitri was still in the process of taking over and working on who will help run the Rooks alongside him, Jack just carried on doing what he’d been doing for a few more weeks, cooking and chopping cars to make money alongside all the other Rooks. As time went by Dmitri had decided on his high command and Jack was happy about who he had picked, a few questionable ones Jack thought would not be there for the long run but it was Dmitri’s choice and Jack accepted that. Growing In Numbers With the new high command The Rooks started to get more noticed within the city, with more people to help run the organization they started to also grow in numbers. Jack enjoyed the growth that was happening within the Rooks, things were looking better than ever and Jack was excited for what more was yet to come. As weeks went on new gangs formed and disappeared within a blink of an eye, even a few brave gangs decided not to pay the tax, so as promised war would come, It did not last long and like that more gangs were gone for good, but not the Rooks, the Rooks stayed strong. Bad News Jack was at a chop shop in his car waiting for a few Rooks to arrive with a car to chop, as he waited he started to browse on his phone looking at a few different things when he stumbled across the words “killer escapes jail” Clicking on it and scanning through the article Jacks heart started to beat faster and then he stopped scrolling. Not even a second later Jack threw his phone to the floor in rage. The phone bounces on the floor then landed screen up only to see the name Tim Watkins through the cracked screen. Tim Watkins was the name of the man who broke into Jack's house as a kid, killing his mother and father while he was out playing. Jack never thought he would ever go back to the UK again after finding Los Santos and the family he is now apart of, But this, this was the only reason to go back. He swore as a child if that man ever got out of prison he would avenge his parents and there was no way anyone would talk him out of it. Saying Goodbye Jack text Dmitri to meet him behind a club they used to play poker at, Within no time Dmitri replied and was there in five minutes. Dmitri stepped out of his car and asked Jack “what's up?”, Unknown of Jack's past there was no reason to explain, he also didn’t want Dmitri to try and talk him out of it. Jack told him he had important stuff to take care of back home in the UK, and that he couldn't be around for a while. Dmitri seemed sad about the news but also accepted what Jack had to take care of, Jack took off his black suit jacket that was given to him when he became the rank of Viscount and handed it over to Dmitri. Then he pulled out his black face mask from his back pocket and attempted to do the same, Dmitri stopped him at that point and said “keep it”, “That's yours for when you return to the city”, he also told him there would be a Baron rank waiting for him on return. Jack looked up and smiled, he was thankful for the respect and the understanding Dmitri had shown him. Jack told Dmitri to let the Rooks know he had gone, he couldn't face doing it himself and telling his family that he would be back to see them soon, as he didn’t know if he would be back, the chance of prison for getting caught or worse, death, they was the things on Jacks mind. but Jack had learned a lot within his time in the Rooks and was confident that he would make quick work of it. They said goodbye and Dmitri drove off, Jack headed to the clothing shop to get out of uniform and head to the airport. On The Hunt Jack’s plane landed in London, UK, he rented a car with a fake ID and drove three hours to Wales where he grew up as a child. He decided to drive past his old house as he had not seen it for over 15 years, pulled up outside and just stared at it for some time. It was strange, the last time he seen this place it had blood on the walls with police cruisers and police tape all around it, now it was like any other house where a new family lived. He got angry and upset thinking that it should be his family living happily in that house, but it was not the case, Jack drove off and headed to a hotel to unpack his stuff. Jack spent weeks trying to find where this killer was, he also knew he couldn't take too long in case the police found him first, that would only be a blessing for the killer as he didn’t know there was something worse after him. As the weeks went on Jack found out information around the streets of the man he had been looking for, he found out things like what truck he drove, where he likes to go for a drink some times, Jack knew that was not a lot of information, but it was enough. Jack spent every night taking a walk past this one very pub to see if the man's truck was there, A few weeks went by and finally there it was, the gold truck that he had been looking for all this time. Jack didn’t think twice, it was now or never. . He pulled up his black bandanna over his face and walked into the pub gun in hand, no words needed to be spoken just one single shot that's all it was going to take. jack spotted the man drinking at the bar and walked up behind him, putting his gun barrel to the back of his head, the man froze in shock not knowing who it was or why, Jack couldn't help himself and spoke a few short words, the last thing this man would ever hear, “you should of stayed in jail”, Jack pulled the trigger and left. That was it, A thing Jack had been waiting for for many years was now done, the only job jack cared about more than anything in this world. Now it was time to go home and finally leave his past behind for good. Back Home After two months away Jack Arrived back at Los Santos airport eager to meet back up with his family, not even half way into the city when Jack noticed a black comet retro, Jack laughed as he knew exactly who would be driving, there was only one rook who would roll in such an expensive car. He followed it for some time until it stopped. A man in a black suit got out and walked into the mine, Jack got out of his car and headed in after him, he approached the back of the man in black and spoke one word and the man turned around instantly knowing it was Jack's voice. It was Dante, one of Jacks oldest friends within the Rook, Jack noticed straight away that Dante was now wearing a red shirt under his jacket meaning he was now a part of high command within the Rooks. Jack was so happy that Dante climbed the ranks, he deserved it. Dante went on to tell Jack what had happened while he was out of town, that all the old high command had gone. One of them sadly passed away while the others left to join the triads, leaving Dmitri on his own once again like before. Dmitri reformed his high command with some old Rooks jack knew of, and some new faces he had never met before. So after Dante explained what had gone on he then stopped and asked, “So are you back for good?” Jack told him that he was back, and this time for good. Dante got hold of Dmitri straight away over the radio and Dmitri said for Jack to get into uniform, So he did, Jack headed to the store and picked out his uniform and got given the rank of Baron, the rank Dmitri promised him on his return. Back in Black Once Jack put his uniform back on he felt at home again and wasted no time, Got straight back into the things that needed to be done to help the Rooks in any way he could. Jack noticed that a lot of the older Rooks had gone and the ones who remained had climbed the ranks. Jack was glad to see that and couldn't wait to meet up with his old family again. There were also a lot of new faces in the Rooks at this point that Jack had never met, so he took his time to get to know each and every one of them. After a few weeks it was like Jack never left. He helped run drug labs and showed new members how things were done, It didn’t take long to Dmitri notice the good work Jack had been doing and felt that he deserved the rank of Viscount, the rank he had once before. Dmitri held a meeting where a few promotions were announced before he turned to Jack handing his black jacket back to him. Jack was a Viscount once again. Edited February 3, 2020 by Magz 12

Jerzy Mceden Posted February 7, 2020 Report Posted February 7, 2020 Preamble Jerzy Mceden was born in New York, abandoned by his father when he was two, his mother pushed the blame of him leaving on Jerzy and showed it with beatings. By the time he was ten, he'd learned how to survive the streets and at fourteen he left the hell he refused to call home. His best friend was killed by a cop during a high speed chase, that's when the drinking started then three years in prison for a trumped up burglary charge. After prison Jerzy went to work for a corrupt car dealership running cars to mafia ran leasing agencies. He met his ex-wife and with in a year realized that she just wanted someone to fund her drug and alcohol problem. A fresh start Jerzy relocated to the city of Los Santos to get away from the troubles of the past and soon found himself working for the Downtown Cab Company. He had enjoyed his time with the company and worked his way up the ladder quickly, despite the back office dealings that were happening He was encouraged to apply for the assistant manager position by the higher ups in the company and so he did. When the decision was passed down and he didn't receive the position it left him angry for putting so much effort into false hope. A new Family The day after he found out about the let down in DCC Jerzy approached Brandon Fitz to take him up on his offer, the one about getting him into a better suit,Brandon was glad to finally start the process. On that same day Jerzy became a Rook and met his new family. The transition was easy, the fit felt right, Jerzy was finally where he belonged. Family Matters Not long after joining the family , discoveries were made , discoveries of betrayal, members of the family were unhappy with the way things were. Those members of the family had to be dealt with no matter how painful. Relations have been built, broken, dissolved, and renewed between the family and various groups, not all the best in Jerzy's opinion but the best for the family. The Now Recently Jerzy has found him self in the tailspin of another divorce and has been butting heads with a particular Sheriff's department officer he knew only as Kane and finds himself with a false charge of assisted murder of a government employee. This bogus charge cost him a bunch in fines and time in prison as well as the loss of his government job at the DCC. Just gotta keep focus...the story continues. "Real Family doesn't come from your blood. It's the people standing beside you when no one else is" 12
Leo_Kresas Posted February 20, 2020 Report Posted February 20, 2020 (edited) Leo Kresas He grew up just like other children - he was naughty, used to spend a lot of time outdoors with his friends, and have a lot of fun. His both parents were doctors, so they wanted Leo to be a doctor too. However, because of the friends with whom Leo spent time, he did not want to study and be what others wanted. He thought that being criminal is the right thing, because he earned a lot of money while robbing and mugging people. At the age of 16 he left his home and decided to start a new life with his own rules. He had not seen his parents since that day. Los Santos Irish mob Leo arrived in Los Santos for a short employment and after few months met the Irish. After a talk, the Irish enforcer Tyrone accepted Leo to the family because of his loyalty, patience and ambitiousness. Leo made a lot of new and various friends from the Irish mob and other gangs. With the help of the Irish, Leo made a huge amount of money by making drugs and robbing stores, and bought a first house and a car. A few months later, due to the war with Los Zetas and the Clowns, gang members decided to rebrand Irish mob to a new gang. Leo, due to Dardan's influence, decided to betray the Irish and to not join The Rooks. Time went by; Dardan left the city, so Leo’s plans did collapse too. After a few weeks of gang less life, he realized that he had made a big mistake and asked to join The Rooks and be with his true Irish fellas. Dwayne decided to give him a second chance. The present Now Leo is in good financial shape, self-confident and proud member of The Rooks. He often spends time raiding labs, robbing people, kidnapping people or just running chops with his gang members, with old Irish mob members and others. Leo is easy-going and patient person and he will always help his friends and allies. He tends to joke around or act strangely, does not take things too hard. Let's see if recently declared war on The Rooks by the other major gangs will have impact on Leo. Edited February 20, 2020 by Leo_Kresas 8 1

FrankieP Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 (edited) Frank Patterson Chapter 1 | Origins Frank was born in a quiet village in the north of England, in Yorkshire to be specific. Growing up, Frank realised that the United Kingdom was becoming an increasingly harsh place to live in. If he was to stay in the north, living among the farms and the sheep, then there was little chance of acquiring vast amounts of wealth; no matter how tranquil life in the village was, Frank always aspired to go further. If he was to move to the south (anywhere below Yorkshire), then he'd have to live surrounded by dreadful accents and remainers; no one wants that. Then there was London, which is a major financial hub and a distant land of opportunities, but Frank knew he'd rather not get stabbed by a teenager wearing Armani or trampled by robotic commuters. Frank had considered all his options within the United Kingdom, and that's when he heard of a city called Los Santos in America; it was a place where dreams supposedly came true, he was intruiged. Frank was deliberating on whether or not to make to move, when he received a knock on the door, followed by a man shouting "POLICE, OPEN UP". Frank opened the door and was informed that he was to receive an ASBO (Anti-Social Behavioural Order) for calling someone a 'Scouser prick' online. "Fuck it", Frank said, "I'm off to Los Santos". Chapter 2 | New city, new friends It didn't take long for Frank to find a solid crew to roll with. Soon enough, he met three people that he could call his mates, whom he knew he could trust. Their names (in order of meeting) were Cheyenne, Max and Kenneth. Both being new to the city, they aimed to learn as much about Los Santos as they could, and how they could make money. They soon met a man by the name of Mike Laurie, who helped to introduce them to many of the city's locations and opportunities; he showed a level of compassion that no other long-time resident would ever afford the pair. Mike revealed himself to be a part of a gang called 'West Coast Assassins', although Frank was clueless as to what this meant. soon after, they met max and Kenneth, who would accompany them on their intial journey to discovering all the city had to offer. At the time, Frank was not very familiar with the criminal gangs of Los Santos, and he had no desire to ever seek them out. Max was a member of a supposed 'anti-gang' called the Rebels, although they disbanded not long after Frank met him. Sticking together as a four, Frank, Cheyenne, Max and Kenneth would soon begin robbing convenience stores as a way to make a little bit of cash; they all received their first felonies from this. The squad continuted to roll with each other for a while, and Frank didn't do much outside of this. Despite this, he did occasionally hang out by the Los Zantos 24/7 store, as Cheyenne has introduced him to a man named Deakin Storm, and subseqeutly to a group called 'the Zetas' (or whatever it was). They seemed nice enough. Chapter 3 | West Coast Assassins Due to Frank's quick tongue, a minor incident occurred that meant he could not return to the store, and he was potentially in danger. Because of this, Frank contacted his old friend Mike, and asked if he could join West Coast Assassins. Mike stated that Frank would need to catch a tan, which he promptly did, before anything could happen. Soon enough, Frank was a member of WCA. At that moment, the gang was embroiled in a bloody war with Novo Los Aztecas and the Front Yard Ballas; this was very exciting for Frank, and WCA would ultimately emerge victorious. Frank's involvement would unfortunately come to a halt as christmas had just arrived, and he had to leave Los Santos for 3 months ((3 weeks)) to visit his family back in England. Due to this, and the fact that Frank was a new recruit, he had to part from WCA, which was a shame, but understandable from the perspective of his higher-ups. After returning in January 2020, Frank was quickly accepted back into WCA, although he was soon let go after a purge that saw prominent members such as Tony Baboni leave the gang. Once again, Frank was independent. Chapter 4 | Los Zetas? It was not long before Frank reconnected with Cheyenne and begun hanging around Los Zetas again, although this time it would be in their new headquarters. Frank made a lot of new friends, he admired them and they admired him. Additionally, he would come to learn a lot more about how a criminal organisation operated. He would receive training from Reece Curry to be effective in gang activites, practicing skills such as location callouts and efficient mugging. Whilst rolling with Zetas, many a situation would occur where Frank would find himself opening fire on enemy gangs and the Los Santos Police Department (sorry Church x). After chilling with Zetas for a week or two, Frank would become a 'pre-prospect' which meant he was on his way to being recruited. During this period, he would continue familiarising himself with the gang and making himself known to its members; he even attended a Zeta wedding. Frank could not find the ties in the clothing store Despite Frank's seemingly promising path towards becoming a Zeta, it soon became apparent that not all the members liked him as much as others. Names will not be named, but Frank was eventually informed that he was being rejected from the organisation, and as such he would no longer be allowed to chill at their HQ. The news came as a shock, to Frank as well as the friends he had made along the way. Once again, Frank was independent. Chapter 5 | Joining the Rooks Frank had been aware of the Rooks for a while, although he had never thought to approach them; that was until he met Jack Hawk. Frank had approached Jack and enquired about joining the Rooks. Almost immediately, Frank began rolling with Jack, and would soon be introduced to the Rook family, whom he would have to prove his worth to. Frank felt closer to the Rooks than he had with any other gang; there was a real sense of family that accompanied the organisation. Additionally, Frank greatly admired their system of democracy when it came to recruiting new members; such a system was not present in Los Zetas, where recruitment was ultimately the decision of one or two people. Soon enough, the time came for Frank to enter the recruitment stage. Taken to Rook HQ, he was frisked and asked a series of tough questions to assess how well he knew the city and its many criminal facilities. After a long interview, members were asked to cast their votes; a hand up if they wished to see Frank in the family, and a hand down if they did not. Going along the line, the people Frank had been rolling with each recalled their experiences hanging with Frank, conveying their thoughts about him and what he could bring to the family. Surpsingly, Frank received a 'yes' from every member present; he was welcomed to the family with open arms. Frank was now a Rook. Chapter 6 | A grand old war In Los Santos, it has long been the custom and obligation of all gangs to pay taxes to the Council. Despite the vast amounts of wealth they were amassing, it was eventually decided that the taxation system would be abolished in favour of what they referred to as a 'respect' system. The concept was simple, gangs would have to earn neutrality with the Council not through payment, but through earning their absolute respect; their definition of the term was never clear, which left it open to member interpretation and was therefore a problem. The family immediately congregated to discuss the new changes, and there ensued a long debate over what the new respect system meant, both semantically and in regards to the future of the Rooks. Almost immediately after the meeting, the Rooks found themselves being hunted by Zetas, and it appeared that any prospects of earning respect were thrown out the window. In their words, it was open season. A purge had commenced, and no Rook was safe, at least, that's what the Zetas thought. What was initially confusing was the fact that it only appeared to be Zetas out trying to hunt the family, as their allies, the Triads, remained neutral for a good while. Nonetheless, the situation would escalate into an all-out war. Rooks were now being hunted by Zetas and Triads, and it was not long before Novo Los Aztecas, a former ally, and West Coast Assassins began sucking up the the Council and started hunting Rooks as well. Despite the onslaught, the Rooks found allyship in many groups of mercenaries and unnamed gangs, as well as stepping up their own recruitment. Both sides of the conflict had experienced wins and losses, and the Rooks were still standing strong, but the ultimate conclusion of the war is yet to be seen...... all information in this post is not to be used IC, no OOC beef is intended Edited May 10, 2020 by FrankieP 15 2
HeyRavyn Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 (edited) DIDN'T SEE THIS COMING Ravyn arrived in town unaware of the things brewing in the shadows. It seemed like any other messed up day in Los Santos. Robberies, car chases and other deviant acts of recklessness going on. The sun was shining on her face as she looked up into the sky taking her last careless breath as she knew it before her phone went off with an update frequency as it has any other day. She went through the redundant task of changing freq and checking in but was immediately informed there was something up and no one knew what to expect. She met up with the family and they were directed to group up because the counsel was holding a meeting with all the gangs and organizations within the city. Dmitri and the High Command went into the meeting and the remainder of us were told to hold back because Dmitri didn’t want it to look disrespectful for us to roll in once it had already started. We all followed his orders waiting impatiently not knowing what the outcome would be. Once the meeting was finally over, we all met up and discussed the issues at hand. We were informed that they were doing away with taxes completely. It was a blessing and a curse all at the same time. On one hand, we can save money to help with the organization's needs. On the other hand, that means we were fair game while at labs and places up north. We were told that we no one is to hit clothing stores, the barbershop, Head Quarters and various other places in the city. They also stated that it was said, taxes would now be paid in respect so we all knew we had to bite our tongues. Dmitri made it clear what was told to them, but there were still many unknown things he and high command weren’t fully sure on. With all things covered we went out on daily activities, but that's when the curse cloaked us like a dense fog, coating us all in darkness and left us blind and unaware of where to go. It was a very short time after the meeting that our members started getting hit one by one in places, we were told it wouldn’t happen. Ravyn was riding with Dmitri when it all happened. She pulled off somewhere safe for him to make calls and access the situation at hand. He had called Jay trying to figure out what had happened, had one of our members done something to violate the agreements? It was then told in another call shortly thereafter, that things were mis stated and that just meant chaos had begun. We all did what we could to not panic and try to access the situation and act accordingly but we had shooters with itchy fingers just waiting to be able to open fire and take them down one by one. The Rooks are made up of many types of people, shooters, thinkers, workers, comedians and those who are reserved. That's what made us unique, but at this time with things as they were, that wasn’t helping. *To take a few steps backwards to explain the current issues within the organization* ISSUES FROM WITHIN Our organization had been having growing pains with communication between high command, lower command and lower ranks. Ravyn had been approached many times regarding issues lower ranks had and she did her best to try and get them resolved, but could only do so much. She approached Dmitri with issues and gave her ideas on how to fix them, but only so much could be done. You can only lead a horse to water, you cannot make them drink. The main issues were as follows; high command wasn’t available when members needed them. They were too busy hunting down Zetas, Triads, WCA and NLA, not on freq and not answering calls. The person we bought guns from was never really in town around this time to help them with their needs so they were running low on supplies, making fighting this fight impossible. Not being able to communicate with high command when Dmitri wasn’t in town was an issue and Jerzy did his best to help everyone he could with those matters. Dmitri had been aware of the issue of high command not being on freq when he wasn’t in town and he was thinking of a way to fix that. There was talk of moving someone else to a high command position to help with those issues, but by this time things were getting worse. Morale was low, people stopped coming to town, people left since no one was in town to help with dealing with this. There was only so much Ravyn could handle and do to help. Trying to explain the situation was pointless if no high command could assure them of anything to aid them. Ravyn is a people watcher, she notices things, spidey senses tingling when things seem amiss. She sensed things were not right and tried to warn Dmitri. She discussed her concerns with Jerzy regularly and they would try to figure out a way to help the family as best they could with the power they had. There were a lot of changes that needed to be made, but no idea where to start first. *Back to the point* SITUATIONAL AWARENESS With things crazy around the city no one could rest, everyone’s heads were always on a swivel. The tension in the air was very evident in the days leading up to the beginning for the Rooks possible downfall. Many believe it was due to traitors, and you wouldn’t convince them otherwise. There were so many of us robbed, cars chopped, guns lost, bank accounts dwindling but some seemed to be in higher spirits than they should’ve been in hostage situations. Ravyn remembers a call from a Rook one day while she was with Dmitri, Johnnie and another member. The fact that he seemed to be laughing like this was funny made her think a lot about the situation. She played along and let things flow naturally, or as naturally as they could, but that stirred distrust immediately. Weeks had passed with no change in the war, people were doing all they could to stay positive on the situation. It all began to feel normal unfortunately, people stopped coming to town, you’d hear mostly radio silence, people would just talk shit, people hung out in areas they felt safest in and waited for direction. With Dmitri out of town more often, leaving high command in charge, we were left wandering with no answers, high command had dropped the ball in his absence. It was passed down to Ravyn that Dante had been deported. That news hit everyone very hard and with so many more questions Jerzy and Ravyn couldn’t answer at the time. We needed high command to take charge, not run the streets all day and night, ignoring the tasks that needed to be handled internally. The family was looking for solutions, answers, ideas, anything, not static and unanswered calls and questions. Members were becoming frustrated. Edited March 10, 2020 by WillowRaven 19
HeyRavyn Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 WHERE LOYALTY LIES It was again, a new normal day in Los Santos the day Ravyn got into town and tried to reach Dmitri. No one on the frequency, no answers from text or calls. She called and sent a text knowing he would get back to her when he could as he has always done. It wasn’t a long wait for the text which read “HIDE AND LAY LOW NOW.” She knew what that meant, and she did as she was told as she tried to call him. He called her back asking where she was and if she was followed. She reassured him she wasn’t and he proceeded to tell her he needed to grab another radio, gun and a few things and he would call her back. She waited for a while before she reached out to him again wondering if something had happened since he seemed stressed and uneasy. Usually he is well composed and not much leaves him this way as far as she had seen. He told her where to meet him and others arrived shortly there after. He was on his phone trying to explain the situation at hand. He had explained that Rex had been taken hostage by Zetas and triads and they were demanding weapons. She knew that none of us should give in to giving them more weapons and she backed him on that choice. He then proceeded to tell them that he had gone on the radio asking for Tyler to come, leading him into a fate no one wanted. Dmitri was still on the phone over and over, she could hear the frustration in his sighs each time he hung up the phone and proceeded to dial numbers again and sent texts frantically. With each new family member who showed up, he explained the situation trying to think of the best course of action to take. He had asked everyone who came if they heard from Rex or Tyler, were they safe? Had anyone seen them, etc. About ten minutes had passed and we were all trying to figure out what to do at the moment and then someone said they saw Tyler at Central Hospital. You could hear Dmitri sigh relief as the words left their lips. No one had heard about Rex yet, he had made some more calls as well as continued to reach out to Tyler. The members that were at the meeting spot rolled out to meet after Dmitri heard from Tyler. We met and HQ and Dmitri and a couple others went off to talk secretly, things we have all come accustomed to unfortunately. Shortly after they spoke we all met up again and things took a turn for the worst. It has been said by other gangs and our high command members decided Dmitri should not be the leader of our organization. They believed he had shut us off from other gangs, showed blatant disrespect, amongst other things, as well as lift Tyler and Rex to be tortured and die. This left those of us there a little baffled, but Ravyn had been suspicious of all of this for weeks now, all growing stronger and she knew she was right now. WIth the recent situation in which Tyler and Rex were tortured, was the perfect way to set these actions in motion on their part. Why wouldn't the leader look bad by using his words against him to work in their favor? Things were discussed and Al Romano showed up out of nowhere, Ravyn had her thoughts on who called him to come and her mind wouldn’t be changed. The bickering was relentless and was getting them nowhere at all, emotions were on high and no one wanted to budge. Many of us stood behind Dmitri, but were also confused on how this came to be in the end. After some time it had been stated there would be a vote in true Rook fashion in which Rex was irritated and continued to be hysterical and say “he only wants a vote because he knows he will win. I’m out” After Dmitri left town for the day a familiar face showed up leaving some of us very concerned of our future as Rooks. Gauge Michaels voice sent chills down Ravyn’s spine and she was instantly on high alert. Al, Tyler, Draven, Rex and Gauge wasted no time trying to convince the remainder of us there that Dmitri needed to be taken out of his position. Ravyn’s blood was boiling with every word from their mouths. She believed this was all handled wrong and the fact they were allowing other gangs to decide our family's fate pissed her off even more. There was ending the war, and then there was this shit show and the actors on stage made her want to vomit. She knew that they knew she was going to tell Dmitri all of this, she wouldn’t deny it if they asked. She had her mind set and it wouldn’t change until there was proof that made it. The conversation continued and something said during it from a member left her very uneasy yet again. Tony Rizzo stated, laughing, “I cannot believe I am going to say this but if Dmitri doesn’t step down we are going to have to plot a coup!” Ravyn couldn’t believe what she heard before they all laughed like this was something to be celebrated. THE VOTE It was a dreadful day we came into town to, everyone was divided, some in the dark, some just following to follow not knowing all information, or what to even think. When Ravyn arrived with Harley at the meeting spot Dmitri stood out immediately, looking slightly stressed out. She approached him and whispered she loved him and he said the same, she felt for him at this point and was worried on how the family was divided. After the meeting started there was a lot of yelling, tensions were high and people were acting like children. It seemed nothing was actually being fixed, everyone's pride was out and showing in brutal force. After a while Dmitri walked up to Ravyn and whispered to her what he wanted to do, and she agreed that was the best option for the family. He knew who he wanted to lead the Rooks. This person has showed up time and time again, showed his dedication, his compassion and his willingness to fight for lower ranked members day in and day out. Jerzy. He had busted his ass to do all he could for the family and was constantly underestimated by people within the family; he was the underdog, the champion many of us believed in even if the ones voting against Dmitri didn’t. Rook command should stay with a Rook and many of us believed that. The vote wasn’t to decide if Dmitri should step down any longer, it was should a Rook stay in power or someone who was now an outsider. With tensions still high a rival gang member shows up in our meeting, Al Romano. Everyone was upset about this besides Rex of course; suspicious yet again. He felt he needed to talk in our family meeting, which made no sense to a lot of us, even Tyler and Draven were concerned and told him he needed to leave, but Rex fought for him to stay. Ravyn focused on everything going on still confused. Things that were said changed slightly every time they were restated which caused even more confusion among us trying to figure out what this was actually all about. After a while Gauge showed up after Rex had asked if people wanted Gauge to come, people had questions, but many of us still believed this was a family affair being puppeteered by other gangs at this point. After discussions were had we divided into groups who felt Rooks should have a Rooks leader and those who believed having Gauge in power would actually stop the war like we were told it would. After more arguing from both sides it was brought up as a suggestion, why not have them both in power to appease both sides. Things settled a little bit as people contemplated this choice and the people voting on Gauge DID NOT seem happy about this option. Jerzy and Gauge stepped away to have a discussion on this option and came back to tell us all what they had decided. They would both oversee the Rooks. Jerzy will oversee the internal side and Gauge, since he works well discussing solutions with people, would oversee the external areas. This left people a little uneasy, but felt it was a good compromise for now in order for the war to end. With people believing the war would now end as it was stated, meetings were to be had and everyone was in limbo for the next day or two, not knowing our fate. Ravyn left and later met up with Dmitri to talk about what had just gone on. His frustration was apparent, but not because he stepped down, but that there wasn’t a Rook at the head as boss, but a co-chair type of situation. He knew that our overseas contacts would NOT go for this in any way. He had strengthened a relationship with them, having knowledge of how Rooks handle business, who is who and who is not family. They worked with Dmitri closely so he knew how this was going to go and had no way to convince them otherwise in his mind. This was the last time Ravyn had talked to Dmitri, unaware she wouldn’t hear from him for quite some time. 21
