  1. Imagine a drug dealer stealing from another drug dealer because he knows this guy is invested in criminal activity and he might have money from 10 customer he just saw before plus an extra amount of drug he might be carrying as well. ECRP is not real it is adapted from GTA. GTA is a caricature of our own world. It is not the truth but man we are a roleplayer and it is our hobby to roleplay things from real life and we do in it a way that is going to fit certain stereotype. And talking about high risk low reward, reward is higher from someone you saw stealing from a bunch of people rather than to normal civilian. They are not stopping bad guys from doing bad things they are just being smarter by taking less risk for more reward. They will be taking 10 people worth of value rather than just one. And I think that is where this server need to go, you need your amount of low street criminal as you need your amount of high end criminal that will not touch or a little criminal activity while getting criminal revenue. This is where interesting rp happen and where you get out of the 'hand hand hand' which people have been crying for a while now. Now different people are crying about the change because they used to be the server bully and were providing low rp whereas they are now faced to high rp player that will have enough experience on how to provide deeper roleplay. I personally hope that those player that used to play by this kind of rules will learn a different kind of rp. And sorry to tell you that but yes in real life criminals need to get smarter too as the multiplication of presence of possibility for them to be film and/or recognise is more and more something that is happening. I think the server is perfectly reflecting a change that is actually happening in our society right now and in a near future and that is also what roleplay it is letting our imagination plan different outcome depending on a scenario it might not be as you wish but that is the rule of the game. Rules are set it is entirely up to you to do something about it IC.
  2. There should be a system as for new player concerning civilian and gangs in the meaning that action got consequences they got protection as long as they do not associate in any shady business. I often heard talked about a turf system and that would be fair that someone civilian or enemy gang taunting another gun could trigger a robbery or a violent rp because they would not let themselves go. As for the example of the aztecas, as it is for me the most obvious one, their HQ is in the middle of Paleto, they own the place basically. Realistically people living close by would be scared by their presence and telling the cop that someone did something illegal would trigger retaliation from the rest of the organisation. It is up to them to manage their turf being like in a peaceful or violent way. However peaceful would be as it is more boring but safer as police attention would not be draw toward the organisation as for violent, there would be higher crime rate so more detectives assigned to dismantle the organisation. As for new players they need to be taught I have been on the server for 8 months now and I began as a new player I made mistake I got nrp I got warning but today all of the mistake give a better understanding on what is possible in town what are the limit of the game and how thing work. Despite a lot of what people say their is a lot of rp in criminals even with war and stuff that people might not be prior to but are inclined to call out as people being bored. There is both side with criminals here to just play a robbery simulator, those player must be taught how to play as a criminal. And what I am saying being robbed was a pain and stressfull to always watch my back but it also help to learn. The principle of not robbing people in broad daylight in populated area did make life easier for me as well, but rules should be there to support not to constrain if I taunt someone in a gang I shouldn't be surprise to getting rob in the following seconds.
  3. Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 : From dusk ‘til dawn “And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.” Isaiah 53:9 A story is made up of a lot of thing. Some will tell the truth. Some will tell a lie. Some will tell a tale. We are our own judge of the truth. Everyone think he is right. Everyone think the other is a liar. But don’t you rest assured. We know what you did and we know you who are. The war has left us scattered and disorganised. Some threat were made and Lucas had to leave town once again at least he thought……… Several month later, Lucas was trying to leave a normal life back in Europe. But as they day were sliding they were all tasteless and bitter. He couldn’t get out of him his feeling of dissatisfaction. In reality the sight of himself disgusted him he felt like a traitor having left behind his brother and sisters. One day he had enough and took his bag, a plane ticket and went back in town. After a few phone call he was able to meet up with Dante. . This contact told him to get in touch with Frankie Valalero, he was looking for people to start up a new union to help worker in town. This business would serve as a front to cover the Rook operations and they need trustworthy people to help them build a legit face. Having been out of town for a while most of his record was considered as cleaned and it offered him the perfect opportunity to step up. Lucas sent a text to Franki and head up to the worker union to meet up. Franki explained him how the operation were run and what was the long term plan of the union. Because of his connection Franki hired Lucas right away as a recruiter and presented him to the rest of the team. Lucas got himself to work right away and started to look for people to propose the union service too. The beginning was hard but things quickly started to look good. Rapidly, Lucas got confronted by the lack of mean the union was facing. He spent days thinking about a way to get things done better. He woke up one day with an idea…. A fundraising charity event. The landlord of the Union office was an old acquaintance of Lucas, after quickly catching up with her, he explained his project to her. Having helped the union because she believed in the social action we were having in the city. She was a manager for the singleton that was supposed to open soon and saw in it the opportunity to get a first reaction from people about the place. She also gave Lucas a name of influential people in town that would have the fund necessary to help such project. Lucas called in a manager meeting and explained his plan to the assembly, they all welcomed the idea warmthfully and the last details where set. Lucas work up his contacts in town to get cheap beverages and food. A deal was set with some like minded people to play a part as a security service for the event. And Finally invitations were sent out to a few selected people that would represent the town finest. The event started by welcoming the guest and making small talk around a drink so everyone could know who is you. Some people went upstair to talk business privately. Once all the guest arrived, Lucas gathered all the guest downstair for a speech and after having people attention and warmed the room a little, he handed the microphone to Franki that was the best person to talk about the project he built from the ground up. At first people where not too enthusiast about helping our work not seeing how this investment could help them. Lucas dream of greatness starting to shattered…. That is when out of nowhere, Jasmine decided to speak up explaining why she believed in us why she helped organising all of that, she pulled out a 15 000$ envelop and made the first donation toward the union, she then asked everyone to follow her outside and there it was. A mule, she has been in touch with Xoza Shadow the owner of the Atomic dealership, which kindly decided to donate us a mule. That triggered to the people there a wave of donation, the union got money but also promesses of discount in shops in town and people would even propose to pay us so we could give union benefit to a certain amount of people in town for free. The night ended on a great note. But the donations were only the beginning. Now we have a name, we have a face but we also have contacts that will allow us through hard work and determination to make the union a powerful player in town.
  4. ‘Every beginning is an opportunity but not every opportunity is a beginning’ Jonathan Orlov landed off the plane to venture in a new city filled with opportunity. What he didn’t quiet imagine was that for every star shining a in the city they would be packs of leftovers waiting for every opportunity to make some money and a name for themselves. The first months were hard, life was able to come by thanks for a small job as a M.T.O. (Money Transportation Officer). The money was starting to flow in, enabling him to buy his first car. A warrener. This little car would allow him to reach for a new kind of job…. hunter. He went to get his firearm license approve and started this, nonetheless, rather lucrative activity. All of it was going well up until he started to get robbed on a basis. When he was innocently running along the hills people would spot him and wait for him to unload the car off his vehicle to rob him. This got the edge on him and he was now fearful of every interaction and every possible contact we could have in the wild areas of towns. ‘You only realise who matter once they have been there for you’ All of this nerve wracking experience was enough. Jonathan decided to pack his car with his few belongs and decide to go on a little stroll for the weekend. He stopped in a little city going by the name of Paleto. He saw two people standing out of what looked like a club, standing next to beautiful chopper bikes and wearing leather cuts stating ‘LOS SANTOS MC’ Being himself a bike enthusiastic he stopped and started talking to those people. To his own surprise they were actually nice and after a little chat they told hi, they were hosting a party tonight in the club and that he was welcome to join in. Having nothing particular to do he accepted and spent his first night hanging around with the club. All the members were nice, outside of the club they all came from different horizon, there was truck drivers, doctors, journalists, taxi drivers, police officers but no criminals. That was actually quite a surprise. He had to go back in the city during the week to work but Jonathan started to go back to hang with the club more and more as weeks pasts. ‘Being part of something is being part of something bigger than yourself’ After a bit of time, Jonathan asked Lucas if he could start to prospect for the club. He was still pretty poor but was on the good way to be able to buy a bike soon. Lucas, in presence of Ava, accepted warmthfully his presence. Being a M.T.O. was not making enough money, hunting became too dangerous; Jonathan was left stranded on what to do to make a living…. That was until he talked with Ryan, one of the club enforcer. Ryan was a trucker and explained to him how to get by in the job which order to take and not to take. Ryan taught a lot to Jonathan about both Trucking and the club. By the first month of trucking Jonathan had now been able to buy himself a brand new bike ! Jonathan was a bit bored by trucking, one day while waiting for orders he saw that a position opened up at bayview and they were looking for someone wishing to be a mechanic. Before the end of the day, Jonathan was sending his CV out to get the job. After a couple weeks, when he forgot all about the job position he applied to he received a letter saying to shop at the garage for an interview. He showed up the next day and passed his interview with one of the human resource person. Couples more day later he was in for a job. Jonathan was feeling great. He got a club, a bike, a job. ‘You never choose your family but you choose who you want to be with’ After several months of riding along with the club, Jonathan was send on a quest to gather enough whiskey for all the member attending tonight’s meeting. When he came back the meeting had begun, without saying a thing he started to serve everyone some whiskey and sat silently next to the bar. That is when the member present, Ava, Hamish, Ryan and Milo, after the proposal of the president of the club, Lucas, decided to patch him in. That is when Jonathan went from having a club to having a family
  5. I think you guys brang back heavy faction rp without falling time after time into the 'gang gang' gameplay that is sadly stopping most of gang rp development in the server which is also a kind of rp that is defendable but it is nice to see you guys been able to successfully grow being able to mix both role play and GTA 5 rp that is not real respectful of traditional role play and survive through the different pressures and agression with keeping an identity because you actually build it up from nothing. If my rp would suit you guys rp I would join but I always enjoy rping with or against you because you never mix ic and ooc and you guys respect a specific identity which is quiet enjoyable. I really hope you guys will carry on this way without loosing what make you a strong faction.
  6. Chapter 3 : Rooking and Rolling One morning after being a few month back on the tracks of a ‘normal’ life, Lucas received a strange text from the U.S. A bit confused of who would be contacting him he arranged a phone call with the mysterious individual. The phone rang at the said time, Lucas mind were rushing to try and guess who it could be. But it didn’t required him much efforts to recognise to voice of Sean, with whom he knew the hardship of being a prospect back in the Outlaws MC. His old friend did not forgot him, he as well took some time from partying and racing and he told Lucas he had a business opportunity he was willing to come back to Los Santos. Not much convincing was needed to get Lucas back in the plane. Lucas was briefed by Sean about what he was now… a Rook. Lucas knew who they were as he used to partake to the meetings with the other gang of the city while being Sergeant at Arms back in the day. Who they were and what they were about wasn’t clear at the time though… He introduced him to some of the other members and he spent several weeks with them so they could get to know him. One day, as he was getting ready for another night of work, Sean knocked on his door and told him to follow him with a straight face. Lucas didn’t know much of what was going on but he just followed as usual. They went up to the dam above town, they took some rusty stairs to a maintenance entrance. Entering the room he was faced by a Rook committee all with straight faces, he knew some of them, others he didn’t. What happened there aren’t to be disclosed in any public statement. You just need to know that he walked out on his feet with a new kind of family…. It was time for Lucas to meet old friends and mix them with new ones. It was time to Rook & Roll. to continue….. Chapter 1 Chapter 2
  7. Chapter 2 : Running some errands You guys already know my face, I’ll spare the quotes this time and the record…. well the record got much bigger…. After some dissension among the ranks of the MC, Lucas chose to take a different path… He saw his friends go one by one, first Sean then Wes and finally Stebbi…. Without the people he used to ride with wearing the cut didn’t have much more meanings anymore. Despite the proposition from the president Harvey to get power of decision over the club business this was for Lucas the last gasp of a dying beast. The times was good after that, most of the gang was hanging around together and allow Lucas and the other to meet new people and have some actual fun. His eyes got open to the world of races and parties that would occur constantly around town through ‘Snez’. Those times were good… There isn’t much to say as it is to see, sometimes you just can’t put words on memories… Life was rocking, life was fast, there wasn’t any timestamps to say what the day was or what was the hour, life would rotate around the different parties, drugs and races. But those life as good as it was didn’t feel that need that the MC used to bring, there sure was close friends that was like family but money was starting to feel needed….. That’s what pushed Lucas to some errands trying to meet people and be part of something, some lasted a meeting, other a day. There wasn’t any actual organisation that would seem fit for him. After those times of nothingness, Lucas was lost…. War was raging on in town with the wanted and other organisation. Lucas didn’t have any affiliation but he was good with every one and didn’t want to have to choose between killing people he appreciated. That’s why he chose to leave town back to France…… Chapter 1 Chapter 3

    Outlaws MC

Reckless Operation - 10 Months Armed Robbery - 30 Months “Liberty has never come from the government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of it. The history of liberty is a history of resistance.” - Woodrow Wilson For everyone there is a time and a place where things change. Things that should have stayed the same are not anymore. Things that used to be familiar and friendly start to fade away. Lucas used to be in the French army, he has been deployed overseas several time. He was used to see theaters of war. What he couldn’t stand was the lack of care. The lack of care from a government that would cut supplies to the front because of budget issues, that would let his injured soldier down once back home, that one before, perfectly abled man, would be staring at their future from the barrel of a gun. That made him quit. Made him want to help people out. Use his skill set for a better purpose. Finding a job looked easy at first however civilian in France do not look to kindly on military, a cold killer, oppressionist, a tool of the government, that what he was called. That’s where it started to go downhill, going from small jobs to small jobs, just enough to survive but never totally able to live. He was becoming another guy that sacrificed his youth and his life for his country but that ended being left on the side of the road, just able to look at all those people he helped live a quieter life, that don’t realise the real cost of their lifestyle. That’s when he had enough. After a year of struggle he realised that life wasn’t for him that there was more. Having nothing to lose he decided to go and sell all of his belongings, headed straight for the airport and took the first ticket available. This ticket was a second class ticket for the 12.45 flight heading to Los Santos, SA, USA. “We do not get unlimited chances to have the things we want. Nothing is worse than missing an opportunity that could have changed your life.” - Anonymous Few weeks went by as Lucas started his new life in Los Santos. In this length of time he worked differents small jobs but mainly as money transporter and truck driver. Those works allowed him to feed himself and beeing a bike lover he saw at the dealership a beautiful opportunity to buy a bike, “Daemon” which he worked even harder to be able to buy. After a tedious day of work, Lucas put down his work uniform, says goodbye to his colleagues, hop on his bike and head to the bank to claim his salary After putting some of the salary money in his pocket and the other in his saving he saw someone parked next to his bike and looking at it. The guy looked cool, he had on his back a leather jacket where a patch was stitched at the lower back of it saying “PROSPECT”. Guy name was Jim. They started to talk for a bit and Jim explained he was part of a club of motorcycle enthusiast and that Lucas was welcome to come hang around if he wanted to. Knowing only few people in town that’s what he did. That is how Lucas started hanging out with those guy that called themselves : The Outlaws. “I just don’t want to die without a few scares” - Chuck Palahniuk When you have been part of the army you think you know how to handle to be treated like shit. Well try and be a Prospect. After few weeks hanging with The Outlaws, there President, Harvey, proposed to Lucas to become a Prospect. He told him that it would be hard, that he wouldn’t be able to talk unless being ask to, that he would have to do everything that a patch member tell him to do and that he would need to show his abilities. That was the price to access a brotherhood. A brotherhood of people, united around there bike, each and every one of the guy he saw would be ready to give their life for there brother. That’s what he wanted. He wanted to feel like being a part of something. Being able to show proudly his colours. But for now his rifle was a mop and his worse enemy was a toilet. A toilet clustered by many angry bikers….Then it was toothbrushes, people don’t often know that it take time to clean the fins of a bike using only toothbrushes. But it was worth it, being able to ride in a pack, learning the politics of the city and the different ways to make money. "The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won't. It's whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere." - Barack Obama One day after coming back from buying some beers with Sean, another prospect, the VP Harvey and now Sergeant at Arms, Jim, same one that introduced him to the club, ask the two prospects to go at the back of the clubhouse to talk. That’s when VP pulled a gun on the two prospects and made them kneel against a fence. There was rumour that Russian mafia was working with the police and Lucas did start to make some connection with the Russians at the time. VP told them that someone informed them one of us was ratting to the police and the other gangs about club business. There was a lot of screaming some to claim there innocence others to force them to confess. At the end Lucas had enough, he putted his the back of his head again the barrel of the gun and told Harvey that if he thought he was the rat and had proof to shoot him because he knew that accusation was bullshit. It couldn’t be him. Sean said the same thing. Gun moved away from his head, VP said “All right then”. BAM BAM BAM Three shots were fired. Lucas thought he was dead but he heard laughter. Harvey and Jim helped the prospect to get up and told them that we could be proud of ourselves. They told us to go with them inside the club’s church. That’s when they announced in front of the whole club that we were now full patch member. After weeks of struggle and hardship, it was finally time for Lucas to become part of the brotherhood. This story is inspired by real life fact. Names and locations might have been changed.
