Chihuahua Hotdogs
Jamie had a business idea that he was convinced would take the city by storm. He had noticed a gap in the market that could only be filled by his hotdog. Sure the city has Taco trucks, but they are expensive and the customer service is rarely something to write home about. Although he had an idea, his degree in criminology meant he certainly didn't have the relevant knowledge. Following one of Alpha Enterprises regular meetings, Jamie approached Chairman Papadakis with his idea. A meeting was arranged at the new Alpha offices.
The Pitch
Once in the office, Papadakis gave Jamie two minutes to pitch his idea. Jamie mopped his sweaty forehead and began his pitch, attempting to gauge his superior's reaction from across the table. The presentation completed and Jamie watched as Papadakis focused a blank stare at the TV screen. After a pause that felt like an eternity, he nodded and said "This could work".
"Very nice my friend."
Jamie listened carefully as Papadakis used his years of business knowledge to formulate a business plan. The plan initially involved six steps.
Papadakis has a Plan
Step 1 - Register the Business
That was easy...
Step 2 - Uniform Designs
Various materials were investigated and eventually a design was chosen that looked professional, matched the branding and would stay hygienic.
Step 3 - Order a Truck
"I found a Youga Classic Mr Papadakis!"
Step 4 - Pray to the business gods
He might not a be a natural business man, but even Jamie knows a key ingredient to a successful business is a bit of luck.
"Please don't fail, don't fail, don't fail."
Step 5 - Collect the Uniform and Truck
...and go to the beach. Max needed a walk anyway. This also gave Jamie a perfect opportunity to test the product.
Step 6 - Open for Business
To be continued...
