jowebb7 Posted June 27, 2019 Report Posted June 27, 2019 (edited)  I own a couple of small businesses and have encountered a slight problem which I think could lead itself to a small change that could highly improve the quality of life for small business owners.  I wanted to create a truck rental company. In order to officially register that type of business, the local government require that you own a property where you could house these types of vehicles, a warehouse. In RP, it makes complete sense. However, the current system only allows for storage of items. The problem that I have is that I had to spend every ounce of money that I have worked to acquire for two months to actually make my life harder. I now have to legally conduct business(RP) out of a location that is further away from where I can actually store my vehicles.  I want to reiterate that RP wise, this makes perfect sense and I completely agree with it. However, as a player, it makes things more difficult and therefore makes it less appealing. If I could store my rental trucks at my warehouse, then ICly and OOCly my business would run better.  Here is my suggestion: Implement a way in which vehicles can be stored at warehouses. I think it can be done in one of the following ways. Have a hybrid system where you can trade 1,000 inventory space for a vehicle slot. So with a warehouse, you could have up to 5 vehicle slots if you give up all of your inventory space. Have the option to choose if your warehouse will be a vehicle warehouse or an item warehouse. I believe that if we decide to implement vehicle storage, you could use the system that is already in place for houses with the addition that anyone can pull a vehicle out of storage when the warehouse is unlocked.  I believe that this change would be beneficial to criminals and civilians alike. Both business men and gangsters(or people who are both) can greatly benefit from warehouses that have vehicle storage.  Edited July 6, 2019 by jowebb7
NikolaiStalingrad Posted June 27, 2019 Report Posted June 27, 2019 +1. Would add business dynamic and encourages businesses to be ran out of them, not just hideouts for gangs.
Wizzidy Posted June 29, 2019 Report Posted June 29, 2019 (edited) +1 as long as they are for businesses Edited June 29, 2019 by Wizzidy
Salvador Rivera Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 Make a thing than you can drive into it with your our car not like the house - car despawn somewhere in some unrealistic way !Â

jowebb7 Posted July 3, 2019 Author Report Posted July 3, 2019 A change like this would also make it more practical to run a vehicle flipping business. Â
Brandon Powers Posted July 4, 2019 Report Posted July 4, 2019 +1 Wicked idea, I think there should be a small fee to rip out shelving or add it back into the storage area.
jowebb7 Posted July 17, 2019 Author Report Posted July 17, 2019 Still think this would be great and expand the small business possibilities!Â
Evo9fq360 Posted July 17, 2019 Report Posted July 17, 2019 +1, this needs to be added. For the price I paid for my warehouse I’d expect to have more than just inventory space to be honest.Â

It has discouraged me from running my truck rental business because RPing it then having to head straight to the parking lot from there is tedious. 1
padpilot Posted July 24, 2019 Report Posted July 24, 2019 +1 this would be great for immersion and overall gameplay. Great suggestion, hope it gets looked at
jowebb7 Posted August 11, 2019 Author Report Posted August 11, 2019 I still think this is a great idea that should be looked at.Â
