Depends on what the chicken is formed into; going off of the definition of a burger.

Not necessarily, chicken burgers here in the UK use chicken filets most of the time and I have never once heard anyone call them a chicken sandwich. Going off the definition that's right but it changes depending on where you are in the world.

The only difference, if any, is personal preference between Ground chicken patty, Thigh, or Breast. Be them fried or grilled.
