Founded in late April, 2026, The Solution aims to be just that. An end to an issue. Silent, Clean, Professional, Efficient. All words that The Solution aim to embody, both through their work, and their morals. After all, a mess is another problem to solve, what's the point of solving problems if you're going to create more The Solution aims to be the premier go-to organization who can help with any matter of issue. Need a judge removed at a moments notice? Done. Planning to rob a bank but you don't have any competent drivers available? Enjoy our reliable rides while you deal with the Dye packs in the back seat. Need mediation where neutrality can be guaranteed? A meeting space can be agreed upon easily. Though The Solution has no plans to have a concrete location, A favored area of operations is Chumash,, starting from Route 68, all the way down towards Bay City Incline. This is due to the multiple differing avenues of egress if the situation calls for it. As The Solution intends to primarily contract their work They are open to nearly all avenues of criminal activity, though the one thing The Solution will not do, is lay gunfire against Law Enforcement, that is unless of course, the price is high enough to justify the aftermath that follows them. All members of The Solution are NEVER to publicly acknowledge the name of the organization or that they are a part of it. A key factor in being a member of The Solution is possessing the ability to lie. Behind closed doors though, You may only ever identify yourself to a client, nothing more. Lore Stemming from years of working alongside Criminal organizations, and from attempting to bring order to what was otherwise Chaos, Frank Haswell had come out of retirement. Intent on trying on final time to engage in a line of work he never commonly saw: Contracts He laid the framework for what was to come. A small organization whose members can all intimately trust one another without question. These folks are split further into one of 3 groups: Drivers Individuals within the organization whose main proficiency is driving and evading from unwanted heat. Be it Law Enforcement, or Gangs Procurement & Distribution Individuals who are keenly skilled at acquiring goods, people, or any other thing one could want. Additionally, these people are adept at selling to the highest bidder, for many the same items procured. Eliminators Those who are skilled are satisfying contracts in regards to the taking of another life. Eliminators get their hands the dirtiest, but are the most likely to be well equipped by the organization, specifically so they can fulfill their role And lastly, to oversee those who are within The Solution, you have: Governing Committee Jacks of all trades so to speak, The Governing Committee rules on policy changes, jobs to accept, scheduling, and approving members who wish to join. That being said, they're also the ones who ensure that those who are to be removed from The Solution, don't take any information with them. One may imagine how that is achieved and would likely be correct. From within these 4 Groups, Members of the Solution may be given more responsibility depending on their tenure and performance whilst a member of the Organization, however, not every job is meant for the newest, or inversely, the most experienced. There will be ways to differentiate ones tenure and skill if you're a member of The Solution, but none outside of the organization will be privy to that information. Goals It is the goal of The Solution to become a leading force in actions taken that have no determinable trails. However, more noticeable goals will include: 1. Achieving Independence from those who would seek to influence our actions by being able to function without them 2. Own Legitimate businesses where we're able to clean our cash flow through. 3. Create a space where opposing gangs can meet without fear of ambush or intervention from third party elements. 4. Influence State policy throuh individuals posing as Legal members of society, whilst still contributing to The Solution's contracts Modus Operandi As an organization that doesn't seek to stand out, quite the opposite in fact, Vehicle choices are up to the discretion of the individual member, However, those within the Governing Committee are expected to drive classy vehicles. Vehicles such as the Deity, Paragon (S or R), Any of the Schafter Models, Cavalcades, or other similar Luxury vehicles. As for weaponry, Some jobs may require longer range engagements, some may require closer range. All the same though, one thing that remains constant, will be our mandatory use of Suppressors. Drawing attention to oneself is never a desired outcome, and Suppressors do a fine job in assisting with that. There is however, a single exception: Revolvers Reliability when another of your weapons fails trumps attention. Heat cools off, what doesn't, is reputation. For that reason, The preferred armaments of The Solution are as follows: Melee Weapons: Brass Knuckles or Knives Sidearms: Any kind of Revolver SMG : Micro SMG or Combat PDW Long Guns: Assault Rifles, and when the situation presents itself where their use is advantageous, Marksman Rifles (( OOC Rules )) Members of the Solution must not have a PVP mindset. Things such as Clapping, Rolling Labs, or Mid-City Gunfights are not the aim of a faction who wishes to remain unknown to the legal public. Absolutely no Toxicity. If you're going to say something in OOC chat, re-think it's tone before sending it. Strive to uphold an excellent standard of Roleplay. If you feel like the other person you're roleplaying with isn't to your standard, don't degrade your own RP in turn. If inter-faction OOC Drama happens, inform the faction leader before it spirals out of control so that it may be resolved peacefully

I wholeheartedly agree with Pazz. The cycle is Hype the community up for an update. Hype dies. String em along with teasers to maintain player retention, drop the update (Usually Late) and then abandon the feature, causing burnout and lack of faith in the dev team. Either fix the shit you release (kindly) or stop milking us to pay for your Avocado toast. Real life situations hit, but when this is a consistent excuse for features being late, you get a boy who cried wolf situation. Your pay pigs WILL eventually get tired as well, Or they'll just ask you to give them a bulldozer in exchange for 100 Euros.... That's probably more realistic.

Demonmit has a point. Just because a lab doesn't have good table combos (Like 8 LSD tables, 2 Crack and a weed table or inverse) does not make it a bad lab. It makes it one that isn't aimed towards a quick cook or large scale group cooks. Take the old lab behind the rockford clothing store, That was all things considered, a bad lab. Not because of low table count, of which there were a total of 7 tables (1 weed, 1 crack, 5 LSD), but it was bad because of location, and as such, has since been removed. I feel like there's a solution, but it'd require development work, and we're all relatively aware of how that would fare with being implemented. Classify the labs. Upon creation, assign a lab a size class: Small, Medium, Large, Mega. Cayo - Mega Quarry - Large Dam - Medium Tugboat / Containers - Small Make it so with every rotation, there's 1 Large, 2 Medium, and 2 Small Labs open. This achieves 2 things: It enables there to always be a location for large scale cooks to happen and invite the possibility of gang conflict! Woohoo! PVPers are happy! Medium Lab numbers would allow Large gangs to be more conservative and safe due to their smaller size making them less desirable for say, the whole gang to want to cook at, but it's still possible. This also has the inverse effect of allowing smaller gangs an increased risk for an increased payout. Having the 2 Small labs allows solos and smaller gangs to do their thing with relative ease, as again, nobody cares to cook at a small lab, thus giving a small amount of security with the tradeoff of being slower, while also allowing solo criminals to play criminal characters and pursue money making activities outside of robbing ATMs. I also agree with Demonmit when he says Staff shouldn't be interfering with labs. Let it play out. EVENTUALLY someone WILL push these labs and do a sloppy job at it, attracting Police, at which point it'll get shut down.

Guns should decay 50% when owner is injured with it in his hand
Homast replied to alexalex303's topic in Game Suggestions
I'm not sure how you equate your guns from over a year ago that you personally don't give a damn for, and that are bugged if you haven't had to repair them, to that of a player who is constantly playing, losing guns, and who's actively participating to the criminal environment who has a personal time investment that they have to grind up for each time to get new ones. You do a 50 cook, you get 1 kit, but that feedback cycle is vicious because in order to safely do a 50 cook, you need to have guns. In order to have guns, you need to have money, in order to get money, you need to do crime, in order to safely do crime, you need guns. See where this goes? I took a a 5 - 6 month break from ECRP, (November 2024 to April 2025). In that time, the decay feature was added and all the guns I had stashed went to red and needed repairing. So either you're spreading misinformation, or it's a bug that's benefited you. Your change discourages about 25% of the point of Criminality. Let's play this by the numbers with something that's commonplace, and not a "Well they should...." Because that's not the reality we live in. A large chunk of being a Criminal involves Guns - Buying, Selling, and Using them. Use Gun for robbing Bank Use Gun for robbing Store Use gun to defend yourself Use gun as income (selling guns!) Use gun to rob others! There's a SINGLE criminal activity that does not have the use of guns deeply entrenched in it's execution, and that's house robberies. Now, let's add BBEG (Big Bad Evil Gang!) into the equation. They're a big gang with people who primarly PVP and don't want to be friends with anybody! They do all of the other activities as a side hustle, but while doing so, they're more kitted up than SWAT are! You want to be able to have at least a chance of retaining your stuff, So you arm up! and let's say, you manage to beat back BBEG but you had to be brought to Pillbox. Your reward? You get to keep your other stuff you were defending, but you effectively lose the things you were using. And thus, that cycle from before begins playing out again where you need to buy a kit, and to recoup the cost of the kit, you need to cook, and you get pushed, so you need to defend, and while defending you get hurt and etc etc. This is a very real reality for MAJORITY of the criminal playerbase, I mean no disrespect when I say this dude, but you're disconnected from the Criminal side of ECRP, especially when you make a suggestion like this without viewing first hand (not second hand as a response to criminals being criminals as PD often are) the current criminal climate. I implore you, restart Black Mafia or join a gang again, Go through the cycles in a more recent light, then re-evaluate these kinds of suggestions People will ALWAYS clown on you because of who you are on this server, but at least they won't be clowning on you because you made a tone deaf suggestion without more recently experiencing the side of the server you wish to influence. This statement itself is evidence enough of how tone-deaf you are and only serves to highlight the possibility of you rage-baiting. Cops don't pay for their guns and thus don't have time invested in their characters in that manner. That's not to say LEO players don't invest time into their characters ( I myself am an LEO player as well, My XP on both characters is roughly even) but it's a different kind of investment that isn't so easily lost by the actions of another player, which is why the possibility of losing something even though you haven't done anything to lose it is a bad suggestion. -

Homast replied to alexalex303's topic in Game Suggestions
I don't agree with this. Guns already decay during the course of a shootout enough, What you're doing is punishing players for not being good at the game and being able to survive their brush with death, be it by arrest or rescue by allies. On a server where it's already a blow to die with guns on you, why make surviving also a blow? -
I like your words magic man!

This reeks of Pay to Win Mentality. Now because you have to invest IC time and money into your vehicles, you're angry? Even though the previous IC cost was given back to you to reinvest into your vehicle? If you don't want to deal with the bill of 20 cars, Simply don't. Nobody is forcing you to upgrade your cars. Upgrade the one or two you use the most and go on with things, Unless you mean to tell me you actively use all 20 vehicles every day plus the other cars you might have bought using IC cash.... -

My highest XP character is my crim with 961k xp. Making a targeted statement against someone who you don't even know is fucking stupid and goes to show how you'd rather resort to personal anecdotal statements rather than actual logic. This the same kinda criminal who asked for cheaper guns and more guns so they'd have a chance against LEO? Hey everyone, let's do a quick survey: Would you rather go back to ordering shipments through a Laptop, where it's absolutely random what's there, and those who can afford to do nothing all day IRL can just snipe the good shit before you're even awake? But you are right, weapons ARE too plentiful, but instead of suggesting we go back to the fucking dark ages and live like how your crim of ye olde garbage lab did, maybe like.... try? and i'm going to take a page out of your book, because I'm just as experienced at being a 5head thinker, Maybe play the game?

Also, to dog on your incorrect opinion even more: https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/forum/128-auctions-and-raffles/ This exists. That's literally it's purpose. And again, to dunk on you, Not millions, unless of course, you're one of the problem players this is targeting, in which case, maybe uh... LIQUIDATE YOUR ASSETS. Hoarder.
-
Actually you can. Especially when it's these players and their stashes that contribute to the problem at hand. Crims want more ways to make money, Sell guns now! Gun sales were directly impacted and lower than they should have been because of massive 2m+ stashes. This change directly fixes that. "Make it so we can make more money / have more things to do!" *Devs do that* "Wait no. That's not what I meant..." More P2P and Gang to Gang interaction? IN muh online roleplaying server? No.... this is bad. My stash is directly affected so this is bad! You are aware that before the gun price reductions, people still had MASSIVE stashes right? Stashes aren't a new thing. This just forces you to manage your stashes instead of them being a passive fallback that you can rely on when you decide to push labs back to back to back all day like an adrenaline fuelled donkey.

Remove combat MG mk2's and carbine mk2's / nerf them
Homast replied to Gustavo Prez's topic in Discussions
Hi, I cop player. I despise having to fight combat MG Mk2, and I only ever use the faction one to fight specifically against other Combat Mg Mk2s or situations where I'm likely to get ganked by 10 guys at once. If it being enough to make me think it evens the playing field while I'm vastly outnumbered and similarly armed isn't worrisome, allow me to say what everyone in the thread has said as well: The gun is too strong! -
I think I can say for certainty, that what EVERYONE who wants improvement wants, is for the bad faith actors on all sides to shut the hell up and either go away, or do a complete 360. But that would only happen in a perfect world, and with bad faith actors being such a large percentage of the community at this point, it'd be a real hard thing to do. That's not to say your idea is bad though. Just be prepared for bad faith actors to be all up in that earpiece being like "Ackshually shutup fam. we want to have easier time clapping" without saying so explicitly.

Reduce All criminal charges sentence length by at least HALF.
Homast replied to Demonmit1's topic in Criminal Suggestions
I'm going to say some mean things, and you're just gunna have to put up with that. How many times has this been asked? Countless. How many times have we had Prison Time reductions made? 2-3 times now since 2021 (If you count VIP tier rework) First time - Unlimited Duration possible to 8 Hour Maximum. Time does NOT decay offline ( or 12 hour to 8 if what Steel says is true. idfk ) Second Time - 8 Hours to 5 Hours, Time DOES Decay offline to a minimum of 1 hour. Third time - Diamond VIP makes your Prison Cap (With maximum charges possible) less than 2 hours. When does it end? With y'all having Streamer Server prison times? News Flash: This is not a Streamer Server. We have people who stream, but the focus is on RP and it's quality, Not being able to go go go go gogogogo. I'm going to straight-up say it, cuz y'all have had it sugar coated way too fucking often: Stop trying to PVP every fucking second and not face the consequences when you have people whos RP job it is to stop you and keep you from murdering and doing crime for a length of time that's proportionate to the crimes committed. If you go on to kill 12 cops, and get 12 Murder of GOV charges, You gotta lay in that bed you've made my g. You had the clear option to get a shorter time, but you tried to PVP like the monkey you are and made it worse for yourself. -
I think the ONLY reason it's not being done currently while we're on the Legacy version of GTA 5 and thus RAGEMP, is because it's resource intensive. It works on FiveM because the developers of FiveM know what they're doing, as recognized by TakeTwo. If FiveM (cfg) are Tony Stark, RageMP Devs are Obadiah Stane.

I know that Scripting options were kinda said to be less desired, but make all Influence NPCs able to be influenced with whatever kind of Illegal Item your faction wants to focus on. A faction that only has Chop Shop NPCs, but would rather focus on B&Es and Financial Crimes aren't going to want to slave away for 10 hours a week to get enough chop parts to keep em happy that week, Nor do I think should they, as it's not within their lore. FM Management HAVE been able to change these NPCs out, but they're reluctant to do so as it creates an imbalance for the future when X faction disbands, but now their area is only Chop NPCs, it would force a Car central gang to move in there and nothing else really. Put a LOT of the currently free access items, such as Mk2 Combat MGs back behind "Special Order" status. They're easily the most overpowered thing in the server, and a handful of factions have the ability to import them at will, effectively making it Combat MG Mk2 vs Combat MG Mk2, which, for my fellow LEO players, know isn't feasible due to OOC "Fairness" limitations. In order to combat the feeling of "Oh no, you took away my toys!" Increase the special order regularity to say, once a month or every other month or hell, Quarterly. Put gang limits back up to 40 - We've tried it for a while now, It's had the intention FM desired, that being sparking new gang creation. It's clear that Criminal Players want to be able to have a fairer time against the "Opps" From an outside looking in perspective, the Criminal side is "Healthy" apart from a handful of bad actors who are the usual ones anyway. Alliances are established between Big Lion and Small Dog. They will continue to be made.

A Call for Balance: Addressing LEO Overreach and RP Disparities on ECRP
Homast replied to Koji96's topic in Discussions
Allow me to dissect this, Because while I do respect your point and agree with it to a degree, It's a flawed argument for one very simple reason: The Vast majority of people who get loud and start being rude to other players, not just LEO players, do so in a way that in my opinion, constitutes as mixing. Saying shit like "Get a life" and "You must have been bullied in high school" and other such things. Everyone here knows it for a fact. Shit talk, very often devolves or starts as a jab aimed at the person behind the screen and not the character. So when someone feels they're being personally insulted, Yes it's going to make them react in a more aggressive manner. You may ask: "why not report it then" because more often than not, It's simply not worth it and it'll subject you to even FURTHER ire from the person who started it in the first place. Everyone ego checks everyone, some people fall for it, But can you realistically blame them when it's veiled personal attacks? -
A Call for Balance: Addressing LEO Overreach and RP Disparities on ECRP
Homast replied to Koji96's topic in Discussions
That's it, I'm taking the bait. Let me ask you the same question. Would you prefer paying the same rates with less income? ECRP has a highly inflated economy, but Guns IRL, Illegal guns, are expensive, ESPECIALLY the bigger you get. It is near unthinkable and unheard of having Criminal gangs go around with much more than a Draco AT MOST. You never hear of Criminals doing Crime and getting into statewide shootouts with Military level Arms. And let me flip the script on you AGAIN, When faced with a situation like multi-gang shootouts, or as you said about it being "Amateurish" Hostage situations, Who's going to answer those calls 99% of the time? That's right, a SWAT Style element of your Police, County Sheriffs, or State Police. What are these SWAT elements going to have? Certainly not pistols and pea-shooters like your delusion leads you to believe. If you want to bring up that issue, Allow me to paint you the picture. A Criminal on average only has to go into their glovebox to grab their heavy, If they're already in their car, Very fast, very easy. A Law Enforcement Player needs to type a command, scroll using their arrow keys until they find the weapon they want, hit enter, exit out of Loadout menu, and then they could start returning fire. Average time comparison would come out to 2-4 Seconds for Criminal, and 10-15 seconds for FAST LEO player depending on if they're in any specialised divisions or not. I've seen it said a many time by many people, This shit is an ouroboros effect. Criminal increase threat -> Cop Increase Threat -> Criminal get loud -> Cop get loud -> Criminal make Cop not enjoy playing server-> Cop going to make criminal not enjoy playing server -> Crim Side die -> Cop Side Die -> Crim Reduce Threat -> Cop Reduce Threat -> Crim Side Pick Up -> Cop Side Pick up -> Criminal Increase Threat AD INFINITUM In ANY RP sense, any change that is going to come about, without being hamfisted by Management, NEEDS to come from Crim side first fundamentally, Because what Cops do is a direct response to what Crims do. Instead of pointing fingers across the table, start looking at your side of the table and hold each other responsible for how absolutely fucked of a situation it's become for all of us. -
Crim vs Cop thread is Crim vs Cop thread, More on this at 11. It's a never ending cycle of adapting to each others willingness to shoot first and evade / try other options later. Cops come to expect that from crims and in turn crims come to expect getting shot from cops. The solution? The side who wants shit to change in their benefit needs to change to allow that benefit to come to light, and hint, It ain't the people who have free AP and Heavies who are making forum topics about how crims are too quick to shoot.
