  1. SELLING MAXED BIFTA GOING FOR $90,000 OR BEST OFFER CONTACT FRANK HASWELL @ 373-7090
  2. Here's what selling off the server would do in respect to your much wanted updates: 1) Any thing that's still in the works, should Paulius and Osvaldon choose not to hand it over for some reason, would be lost. This means a total reset on the progress on any updates that the modder team don't have a hand in (Gun Update, Drug Update). This means as well, You're going to be waiting longer regardless. 2). Administration Efforts will become a total mess while the server is in it's transitional stage. Not that I don't have faith in our lovely Head Admins, It's just a factual matter because the new owner(s) might want a different approach and could be less laissez-faire with the staff team. 3) Server very well could become akin to that of an EA or Ubisoft game. You thought donations where a pain in the ass now with some of the stuff being "Donate Only"? How about Guns being added to that list, or clothing, or SEVERAL tiers of VIP, each doing nothing different except adding your name in an unaccessible part of the map? 4) As Bala said, GTA 6 soon, which means we also have 5-6 years tops once GTA 6 Launches, With that happening, Those who Want to buy the server, will 100% be installing more Pay to Win nonsense as a last ditch effort to make money on GTA 5 RP servers. Overall, Bad Idea, but I mean sure, If you want Osvaldon and Paulius to make a quick buck and throw the server into Chaos..... sure I guess?
  3. I partially agree, But I believe it should be more of a faction specific regulation depending on what kind of criminal organization you're in. If you're a Hood Gang Banger, IA isn't gunna be the way you go about it. If you're a white collar criminal who isn't one of the violent types, IA is definitely cleaner, safer, and equally or more satisfying than killing the Officer who you IA report.
  4. Damn, Kazjii is going to be the biggest boy on Eclipse Tomorrow! Can I get an autograph before your records go crazy hot?
  5. So, you don't actually want to have Mechanic RP if there's someone clocked on at Bayview, you'd rather just have the convenience of being able to auto repair at any given time. I don't know man.... Sounds to me like you oughtta be the change you want to see and apply to LSC or Bayview. I've been in the same situation where I've been angry that there was nobody to do Mech requests, but this is precisely the reason why the car pushing script was implemented. IC issue with a very simple IC solution. -1.

  8. -1 I'm gunna be that guy in this thread I suppose.... Crims just got their biggest method of making money effectively taken out from underneath them, and we're suggesting that LEOS get paid MORE? No cap Bala, This ain't it. Given the fact Crims have to work WAY harder to make their money, and at times PD/SD/DOC/MD/GOV are just Driving sims or Salary farming jobs, Increasing their pay for effectively doing nothing is a good way to piss off the majority of the community.
  9. Howdy, This isn't going to be a giant controversial suggestion (Unless you're just a drama queen) My idea is simple: Adjust the price of either the Wall Safe or the Int Safe 1 to be more in line with the cost of the other. Currently, Wall Safes cost $1200. That entails 6 slots and 30 volume. The Int Safe 1 costs $20000 and that entails 12 slots and 200 volume. Now, Putting it very simply, The Server Economy, as has been noted, and is seemingly being worked on, is currently in shambles. A wall safe being 1200 is fine, However the trade off with the Int Safe 1 taking more space, and costing 16 times more than the Wall safes is frankly.... only going to cause people to complain further about how bad the economy is screwed and how they're supposed to store large quantities of stuff and all that. I'm sure there are arguments that can be made as to why 16 times the price for only 6 times the storage volume and 2 times the space makes sense, but to me.... That doesn't make any whatsoever. In addition, We recently lost the ability to use Vending Machines as Illegal Storage. Many people enjoyed the ability to store SO MUCH in one spot, even at 200 volume. As it stands, Crates cannot be stored either without a 20k investment, or keeping them in your vehicle trunk. Many people for one reason or another, do keep their crates, be it for moving large quantities of items, or storing items in like a Russian nesting doll. I believe that the price of the Int Safe 1 should be brought in line with the magnitude of improvement over the Wall safes now, and that would should get another safe that has not only a larger slot number (I'd prefer the same number of slots as a bag or a crate) but also has an increased amount of volume that it can hold. "It doesn't make sense to have larger safes" but au contraire, The risk included in this, is having all your eggs in one (or fewer) baskets. It not only makes it easier for your ENTIRE stash of valuables to go missing (read: get stolen) but it also allows for easier organization, and overall quality of life.

  11. Hello again Eclipsians, I'm coming right back atcha with a new suggestion, This time, small, but powerful tweaks to Mining, specifically, for Lithium and Sodium. As it currently stands, Mining for Lithium and Sodium is one of the worst anticipated things someone who regularly cooks drugs can do. This is due to a number of reasons, chief among them being, It takes FAR too long to gather a sizable amount. (About 200 an hour). As it currently stands, this was attempted to be remedied through the increase of spawned nodes for both Lithium and Sodium, however this does not actually reduce the time it takes to gather alone, It just means you can have an extra person gathering at one time. (Since nodes spawn relatively quick, There's almost always 3 at a time), For most, doing effectively 2 cooks worth of time for something that pays similarly to a 3 ingredient drug, isn't worth it. My suggestion is as follows: Make it a chance for each mining "instance" to provide 1-4 pieces of Sodium/Lithium per successful mine. This not only has the potential to decrease the time it takes, but it also creates a smaller amount of incentive to make drugs that require a 4th ingredient. It has a minor impact on the whole of the gather, but if luck permits, you can effectively turn a 5 hour mining session, into a 1 hour and 15 minute one.
  12. Guys, I can't lie, this is totally me when the
  13. I vote for the 1000 dollar method. I would love to see this added, as it not only adds to the realism aspect, but it also provides players with another way to tax evade without subjecting themselves to paying 35% tax without owning a business. Additionally, It would be more rewarding if you raid somebodys house and you find their cash all under their bed :). Very +1
  14. This is a fair and valid point. Also a fair and valid point, however, if changed, Giving demands from a High-Speed Moving Vehicle, should be the case for them not being valid. Talking like... 90+km/h Gunna lump these together, This isn't to create a Crim V Cop discussion, but It should be roleplayed as a dangerous area from both perspectives, If you're there alone, you already know what's to be expected, why not have your gun drawn to make it so that being put under FRP in situations like this isn't a possibility, and that you have the ability to fight back. We already have it in place where if you explicitly wait for someone to start picking or planting, the script prevents you from having a chance, Powergaming punishments have gone out for such behaviours, and if abused going forward like that, probably will continue to be. My Counterargument for this is, don't let people have their cake and eat it too for armored vehicles. Bullet Resistant vehicles, sure, but if we're thinking about it, 1 of 2 things will happen, number 1 is, window gets smashed out, rendering bulletproofness gone. number 2 is windows get rolled down, which is time to take to type out the command, giving attackers a disadvantage, and people somewhat of a chance to react. (Not sure how the script specifically interacts with these behaviors, could definitely stand for some testing though).
  15. Hello Epic Eclipsians. This is a very straightforward, and most likely a very desired suggestion that I don't believe I've seen made, but I've certainly heard about the desire for it. It is simply for the ability to shoot from the driver seat, be reimplemented. This idea has stemmed from mostly original thought, but also due to my brainstorming of RP scenarios that could be played out, however due to script limitations, they have 1) Not been able to without being a clunky, jank mess, or 2) Not been able to due to staff ruling due to said script limitations. A counterargument that immediately comes to mind against this suggestion is "Well, How does being able to shoot from the driver seat make any sense?" and normally, while driving, it entirely does not. Which is why I believe that similar to how the carrying system works currently, you cannot point or fire a gun while moving more than say, 15 km/h. Not only does this allow for better, more fluid combat engagement RP, but it would allow far more freedom of RP. Currently, the standard hostage taking practice is as follows : You find someone, Pull up next to them. Stop your vehicle, and get out, pull your gun out, and give verbal demands while that person is still actively running. This allows for the excuse "Well I didn't see a gun so Demands weren't valid in my opinion" which is oftentimes the case that has been found. Also for the fact that Verbal demands alone, don't give DM rights, you're pretty much SoL if someone decides not to turn around to acknowledge your demands while they're on foot. This previously mentioned process, takes about 10-15 seconds normally. In addition, this allows plenty of time for reaction from allies or 3rd parties and is extremely overt. If we implement this new system, it would allow faster paced kidnapping RP, where you can very very easily scoop someone up solo, without time for others to react. The process would become the following: You pull up alongside somone, set your cruise control real low (Like running speed low) and keep up with the person, aiming a gun at them, and even perhaps pulling in front of the person. What becomes a 10-15 second process, could take 5. Don't get me started on the lads who like to take cops hostage on traffic stops. This would also allow this to become a far easier thing to do, while at the same time, making it easier for criminal playerbase to attempt to get away (Because truthfully, they do need every chance against situations where a Helicopter, 10 heavies ready to take tires, and other such things occur. Speaking from experience as I am on both sides of this quite frequently) If you can think of further cons to this, please, the floor is open for discussion, however I will explicity state this, If you make my suggestion into a Crim V. Cop post, I will retract this entire suggestion.
  16. I won't say that it doesn't entirely, because that's ignorant to say, But I have not seen any Mixing personally from SD side. TAC and JTAC are IC channels explained as situation frequencies. It's common for police units and especially supervisors to be able to see a frequency active and tune in if needed. You also missed the part where I asked if you had told anyone of this? You claim to not want the mixing, but take no action asides from complaining about it on a forum post. Even though I had missed the part where you mentioned ride-alongs, my point still stands. Au Contraire, Quite relevant. We're discussing VOIP and communications. You say you want group chats and the such, make a suggestion for it. Saying in the discord "Group Chats when" (not saying you specifically have) gets nobody anywhere. I have not said it's perfect, I have stated that it is simply better than the suggested alternatives that you and many others have attempted to suggest. Alongside with JBacon straight up telling people that finding a replacement for TS has been tried, and was found to be lacking in every aspect. Sure it can. You have access to recording software correct? Make a report similarly to how one would do on the forums with all the same information, except instead of a UNIX, give us a specific time and date. This is also one of the many reasons why ECRP Administration team members have TeamSpeak Staff roles. So you chose to, instead of harboring a positive RP environment like you claim to want to do, let rulebreaks occur willy-nilly without speaking out about them. Unrelated. Please direct that sentiment to your nearest Crim v Cop debate located at the front, middle, and rear of each side of the aircraft. Yet you have offered no alternatives aside from "Switch freq" which, as I've explained before, is not only immpractical OOCly, but also ICly as well. Also, you're reducing the entire playerbase to either being a cop, or being a criminal, which is not the case as I'm sure you know Do you know why DCC, LSC, MPT, Bayview, and Weazel don't need TS access to Teamspeak either and why their job can be done on a singular frequency utilizing the already existing VOIP system? It's because they 1) don't have 5+ situations ongoing at the same time that require coordination and callouts, and 2) have no real giant need to utilize radios. (DCC is an exception to 2) If your argument is that Criminals do have situations where they need to coordinate themselves, Firstly, If you're planning something beforehand and your purpose isn't to simply be an 80 person clap crew, you are able to use a joint frequency in game. Explain to me in your criminal experience where you have had 4 different situations at any single time where you needed to have great coordination? I'll give you the answer as a criminal player myself who has been at it for over a year now, and the answer is, it doesn't happen. Criminal Situations are either everyone is in, in which case there's no need for multiple frequencies aside from if your freq gets comped, or the people who aren't participating in the situation, are off freq anyways and are doing their own thing. If you want to be a contrarian, by all means, you do you. But don't complain about the smell of garbage when you haven't taken out the trash.
  17. You're expressing one side of a 4 sided die. Let's address your Mixing and Metagaming remarks first: You state that 90% of the time, it's people metagaming and mixing. Firstly, Metagaming - Again, most likely from an MD side, since you lot don't see the same dispatch notices that PD/SD do, it is inevitable for MD/DOC to naturally metagame this information and casually mix it. However, is this something that you brought up with Aldarine, since she was not only a staff member, but the Leader of MD during your tenure? Secondly - Mixing Because MD don't use TAC near frequently enough, and you're getting annoyed at people trying to OOCly get to know you, have you ever thought about Muting your Teamspeak until required, or keeping the program off, and same follow up question as before, did you raise this issues with Aldarine? MD are very rarely going to ever need to utilize TAC radio or JTAC radio for the same reason that DOC do. You aren't getting into regular 40 v 40 shootouts nor do you have several pursuit situations going on all simultanerously. Let's say this for example, 4 different pursuits are all happening at once, all of them with different criminal organizations, Pursuit A was going on first and is unaware of Pursuits B, C, and D. Pursuit A starts getting shot at from 6+ vehicles with 15 others on foot who try to take out tires at an ambush site. Code 1 is called, meaning shit is actively hitting the fan, everyone drop everything and get here (as you'll know from your MD training) Let's say it's just a handful of non-supervisory units who don't have the foresight to go into every other TAC bind as suggested (being the ones 900+, not the TS ones) and we're left with 13 units fending off a possible 27 man ambush. Does this level the playing field? Some would argue yes because of equipment, however Groups that typically push these specific kinds of engagements, have kevlar, have AKs, have specially imported weapons to use against PD. Your outlook on this is flawed Not Relevant to the discussion at hand. Nor would it be possible for a Police Situation radio frequency to be compromised as such either. Do I think that there should be radio scanners available for import at an exorbitant price? Sure. Do I think that a criminal should be able to accidentally stumble onto our radio? No, because that isn't realistic, in fact, retail radios are tuned as such, as they're INCAPABLE of tuning into emergency frequencies, hence why Radio scanners are just that, scanners. You cannot participate in radio conversation. Instead of making statements based on personal belief, Make some that are grounded in reality. What XeV is attempting to do, is cause some legitimate discourse about the state of not only the VOIP system, but also its unreliability, which forces PD/SD (DOC and MD use it optionally) to utilize such 3rd party programs such as TeamSpeak, so that we can not only coordinate much easier, but also do so without giving each other headaches, and confusing the absolute hell out of newer members of our factions.
  18. Hello Fellow Eclipsians, Now, we've all come to love (and hate) the Incident Management job and those who do this job on the regular. It's notable for creating a larger social interaction between others, and well.... the drivers being absolute menaces, but that's not particularly the focus of todays thread. The focus of todays thread is more geared towards QOL changes that would make the map as a whole feel more lively, and make it so that we're not quite doing Unionized Construction work RP and having half of us sit on our behinds for most of the job. The first QOL suggestion is one that many have complained about in game, though I've seen no mention of it OOCly on the discord or the forums, and that is the cancellation of the action timer. As Action timers themselves work, if you do another animation, It'll cancel your action timer, However the Food and Water action timers don't necessarily follow that same thing to a T. With many people choosing text based RP over voice sometimes, myself included, they find themselves unable to respond to radio communications should they be engrossed in a task. Not only is this frustrating, but, also, it can be used as a tool to grief others. As it stands, currently if you call someone, and then hang up, If they're on a job task, They'll get it cancelled. Just a very annoying thing to deal with all around. The next QOL change I propose has 2 alternatives : The first being implement an additional Incident site when there are more than say, 10 people working the Incident Job. The second one is, Limit the job site selection, to larger jobs should there be so many extra people. I'm more of a fan of Option 1, as it brings more liveliness to the map as opposed to limiting opportunities like the second choice. That's pretty much it for now. Thanks for your time and your consideration.
  19. That'll be it. A Melee weapon in the Melee Slot will override the Heavy Slot. It's weird, but It's how it seems to work.
  20. Do you happen to have a melee weapon on you prior to clocking on? This is a slightly known issue and the fix is to remove your melee weapon from your inventory before clocking on.
  21. Expand the list of injuries to include GSW, Stabs, Punches, and Blunt Force Trauma. Make GSWs from Heavy Weapons a different Injury than GSWs from Pistols Also add actual BLS bags and have them stocked in the Cruisers / Ambulances when they’re spawned. Add Broken Bones, Lacerations, Road Burn, Burns, Shrapnel (For the odd case of having been blown up) and the like New Items : Basic Life Support Supply Bag - 20 VOL : Carries up to 50 VOL Splint - 1 VOL Bandage - 0.2 VOL Gauze Roll - 1 VOL Medical Tape - 0.5 VOL Ice-Pack - 5 VOL Hemostatic Gauze Roll - 2 VOL Cotton Balls - 1 VOL Saline Bottle - 5 VOL Tourniquet - 1 VOL BLS Bags purchased from Hospitals Come equipped with the following : 2x Splint 5x Bandage 2x Gauze Pads 2x Medical Tape 2x Ice Pack 2x Hemostatic Gauze Roll 2x Cotton Balls 1x Saline Bottle 2x Tourniquet Splint - Can be used once to begin the healing process for injuries caused by Broken Bones only on Limbs. Bandage - Can be used once to start the healing process with injuries caused by Small Cuts Gauze Roll - Can be used to begin the healing process with injuries caused by Lacerations, Gun Shot Wounds, and Open Fractures. Medical Tape - Can be used in conjunction with Gauze Rolls to Speed up, and increase their healing effect. Ice Pack - Can be used to assist with the speed and healing effect of Splints, also allows for treatment of broken bones on the head and Torso Hemostatic Bandage - Can be used by itself, to treat Gunshot wounds, Lacerations, and Open Fractures, When used in conjunction with Tourniquet, they increase the healing speed and effect of the Hemostatic Gauze roll, Otherwise it functions function similarly to a normal Gauze Roll.. Cotton Balls - Can be used to begin the healing process for injuries caused by Gunshot Wounds and Stab Wounds, Saline Bottle - Can be used to begin the healing process for injuries caused by Burns & Shrapnel. Tourniquet - Can be used to begin the healing process of injuries caused by Gunshots, Lacerations, Puncture Wounds, and Open Fractures.. When used in conjunction with Gauze Pads, Hemostatic Gauze or Cotton Balls, the speed and effect of the healing is increased. These Proposed changes would eliminate a need for the /cpr command, and would encourage more accurate Injury RP from both sides of the fence. (No more /do broken leg after being turned into swiss cheese) Not only would it encourage better RP, but it would also create more activity in the Pillbox / Paleto Hospitals as people would have a need to go to these locations other than to pick up Painkillers for before / after shootouts, Albeit by a minimal amount. As always, Let me know what y'all think and if you don't agree with the suggestions, I invite you to make sugggestions to my suggestions
