That’s exactly what I chose to do, but not lightly. I did my best to add value to the server from 2021 onward. I know that doesn’t make me “old school” in the deepest ECRP sense, but I want to put some context behind where my opinion and ultimate decision to move on came from, based purely on time invested and lived experience. Since 2021, my stats across two characters: Total playtime: 345 days, ~2 hours ≈ 8,306 total hours ~1,660 hours per year if treated as one account ~4.5 hours per day, on average, for nearly five years That’s effectively: A half-time job, every day, for almost five years Or 200+ full 40-hour workweeks On top of that, I spent a significant amount of money supporting the server. I was Diamond VIP for as long as I can remember it being a thing. After all of that, I decided it was best for me to sail off the coast of Del Perro. That choice doesn’t come from bitterness. It comes from clarity. For some people, the server still delivers exactly what they want from their time, playstyle, and level of commitment. If they’re getting satisfaction from that, genuinely, I’m happy for them. For me, it was simply time to move on.

It is necessary to select 'accept' on this document before donating to the server. How many people have read the whole thing? I suggest you do, specifically, item 5 of section 1. Introduction This document describes the REFUND & RETURN POLICY of ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY and also acts as a PURCHASE AGREEMENT. The document explains the terms and conditions of the exchange of money for services and/or digital items between you, also known as the buyer, and ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY, also known as the seller. It is required that you read and understand the contents of the documents referred to in point 1.3. Afterwards, you are required to manually click on the appropriate checkbox to express your agreement to our terms and conditions as defined and described in the aforementioned documents in order to be able to proceed to the payment processor. If you disagree with our terms and conditions, then you should not proceed to the payment processor. As the buyer, you express your full consent and agreement to the rules, terms, and conditions, as defined and described in the documents: SERVICE TERMS & AGREEMENT, REFUND & RETURN POLICY / PURCHASE AGREEMENT, and SERVER RULES. Item Description Strictly, under the terms and conditions, as defined and described in the documents referred to in point 1.3, the seller will provide you with credits, which is a digital currency used within our gaming service, that can be redeemed for more specific digital services and/or content, as described in more detail in our credit store, which is accessible in our gaming service (press F6 while in-game). You agree that the in-game services and/or assets purchased or unlocked with the use of credits, unlike their identical counterparts acquired with other methods, such as, in-game money, cannot be traded or transferred to other accounts and/or characters. You agree that the in-game services and/or assets purchased or unlocked with the use of credits, unlike their identical counterparts acquired with other methods, such as, in-game money, could have some of their features restricted either by the server script or by the SERVER RULES. For example, the server script may prevent certain criminal related activities in properties purchased with the use of credits. You agree that the in-game services and/or assets purchased or unlocked with the use of credits do not have special protection against unfavorable in-game circumstances, consequences and/or events. For example, a credit vehicle can get stolen and/or chopped by a criminal player or get impounded by the police. You agree that the in-game services and/or assets purchased or unlocked with the use of credits can be subject to future changes as part of the development process of our gaming service or as part of server rule changes. Item Delivery The credits will be automatically and instantaneously delivered to your ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY account credit balance as soon as the payment processor receives and processes the funds. You agree that the moment the credits are added to your ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY account credit balance, the state of the delivery and the state of our mutual transaction is to be considered as complete, and the state of the purchased item is to be considered as delivered/received and/or shipped successfully. Access Restriction ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY enforces a strict, but necessary set of gameplay and communication rules, as defined and described in the documents referred to in point 1.3, mainly in the SERVICE TERMS & AGREEMENT and the SERVER RULES, therefore, if your behavior and/or activities are determined to be malicious, harmful and/or if your behavior and/or activities violate the conditions of any of the documents referred to in point 1.3, then the seller has the full right to completely and indefinitely restrict your access to the service at any time, do that at our own discretion or that of a member of our administration, and, most importantly, do that without compensation or any other form of refund. You agree that your access to the service and/or the purchased item can be restricted under the conditions, as defined and described in point 4.1, and that the possibility of access restriction is an essential part of the item description and our REFUND & RETURN POLICY / PURCHASE AGREEMENT. You agree that the act of access restriction, as defined and described in points 4.1 and 4.2, is part of the REFUND & RETURN POLICY / PURCHASE AGREEMENT between you (the buyer) and the seller, and that the act of access restriction to our service and/or to your purchased items is no justification to demand reimbursement or any other form of refund. You agree to respect and to adhere to the terms and conditions, as defined and described in points 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the assessment and/or decision of the seller to restrict your access to our service and/or your purchased items or credits. Privacy & Personal Data You agree that ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY is permitted to collect and store your private data and/or personally identifiable information, for an indefinite, yet justifiable amount of time, such as, data about your devices, data about the software available on your devices and data about your network, as well as your email address, location and any other details manually inputted by you. You agree that ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY is permitted to disclose your private data and/or personally identifiable information to the relevant third parties, which includes, but is not limited to, payment processors, banks, credit card companies, and/or any other financial institutions, in the case of a payment dispute or due to chargeback fraud. You agree that ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY is permitted to use and handle your private data and/or personally identifiable information under the conditions and for the purposes, as defined and described in our SERVICE TERMS & AGREEMENT document. Chargeback Fraud You agree that any attempt to forcefully chargeback your payment is to be considered as chargeback fraud if the chargeback attempt occurs after the fact of a successful delivery under the delivery conditions, as defined and described in point 3.2. You agree that in the case of attempted chargeback fraud, the seller has the full right to permanently restrict your access to our service and/or your purchased item, as defined and described in points 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4, and to enact additional sanctions as described in point 6.3. As a response to attempted chargeback fraud, the seller will enact additional sanctions: Your ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY account will be permanently blocked from our service due to chargeback fraud, which is a ban that cannot be appealed in the future. Your ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY account will be completely wiped of all assets, which includes assets both acquired with the use of credits and/or in-game money. If a fraction of the disputed credits has already been gifted to other players, then similar and/or partial sanctions could be enacted upon the accounts and/or assets of the beneficiary players. Refund Policy You agree that you are no longer eligible and/or entitled to a refund and that the seller has the full right to decline your refund requests if the seller determines that at least one of the listed conditions, as defined and described in points 7.1.1, 7.1.2 and 7.1.3, is true: Your access to the service and/or your purchased item has been restricted under the conditions, as defined and described in point 4.1. You have already had redeemed a fraction or the whole amount of your credits to unlock in-game services and/or assets or you have already had gifted a fraction or the whole amount of your credits to another player. You have already received your credits under the delivery conditions, as defined and described in point 3.2, and if at least 14 days have already had passed since the date of your payment. The seller agrees to issue you a refund if you are eligible and/or entitled to a refund under the conditions as defined and described in point 7.1, but the amount of the refund can be either full or partial, as defined and described in point 7.3. You agree that, if the purchased credits have already had been delivered under the delivery conditions, as defined and described in point 3.2, the seller is not required to refund any of the payment processor and/or other associated fees and that the sum of these fees can be deducted from the final refund amount, otherwise, the seller agrees to refund you the entire amount paid.

I never expected that. I was giving my opinion, not trying to change anyone else's.

I have ‘Legend’ status on the server for my financial contributions, which I consider donations. I donate money to them to help them figure out what needs to be done. If I lose something I spent real money on, I don’t consider it a loss because it was a donation in the first place.

Ways to increase player count in ECRP
Mikazuki Ueno replied to XxTheIrishGuyxX's topic in Discussions
I don’t understand how the server deciding to discontinue in the future would be a ‘rugpull’ ? -
Say it a bit louder for the back. If you are roleplaying as a law enforcement officer, it is entirely possible for a criminal character to transition from their tough “screw the law, long live anarchy, law of the streets, government sucks!” persona to portraying themselves as a “scared” citizen, even after committing a felony. This shift can happen when a situation does not go their way, prompting them to file an IA report that their character would typically never consider filing. Such a change in demeanor may occur if their original plans fail, leading them to seek a way to gain an advantage in the situation while also punishing the LEO player, both IC and OOC. I've seen it happen. Just part of the game and something you have to handle and deal with. Some people just want that W.

Add non-emergency hotline for PD.
Mikazuki Ueno replied to Tacoface173's topic in Civilian Suggestions
No, I also said physical locations, like going up to an officer/deputy or to their man buildings. 911 and the script are for imminent life-threatening emergencies. -
-1 Appreciate the thought and time that went into this, bI don’t think this direction aligns with what we should be prioritizing right now. There are larger system-level improvements and community balance issues that I believe deserve more immediate focus, especially when dev time is limited. While the roleplay angle is interesting, introducing individual purchasing and tracking systems for standard equipment feels like a lot of complexity for marginal gain.

Add non-emergency hotline for PD.
Mikazuki Ueno replied to Tacoface173's topic in Civilian Suggestions
If you include "NON-EMERGENCY" in front of whatever you type after calling 911 it is highly likely your call will just be closed right away, usually before I have a chance to do anything. Feel free to take a chance, but I am not the only one who charges for it. Good luck. -
Add non-emergency hotline for PD.
Mikazuki Ueno replied to Tacoface173's topic in Civilian Suggestions
There are several ways to report suspicious activity, contact a specific officer, and request criminal records, all of which do not require a phone call. The government website and physical locations for LEOs offer numerous opportunities. Do not call 911 unless it is an emergency. If it's a mistake, it's considered misuse; if you intentionally do it, you'll likely be charged and jailed. -

If someone is harassing you OOC in-game, take screenshots for evidence, and create a report here. If the evidence is something you feel uncomfortable sharing publicly, I'm sure an admin will understand, and you can send it to them privately when the report is processed.
