  1. Wonderful post Marksy, I believe you truly touched on what some of the core issues of this server truly are. The issue isn’t a lack of development, and it never has been. Eclipse culture is (and has been for quite some time) a culture that is anti-fun, toxic, and rooted so deeply in egos and “holier than thou” attitudes that there may be no chance of reconciliation. I will not deep-dive my reason for leaving eclipse, but you have touched on it in your OP. Despite numerous hopeful attempts to come back to Eclipse and re-immerse myself in a community I once loved, I do not believe this server has the tools or ability to fix what is so deeply broken. Sometimes you can’t fix what is beyond repair. Change is good. Starting fresh only hurts for a moment but in the long run it’s so rewarding. ((i’m pro server wipe, but that might not be a conversation some are ready for..))
  2. a wise man once said "And please lets not turn this into a debate of us vs them. lets get some suggestions from both sides id love some cops input on stuff Crim's can improve on. "
  3. hey guys!! as a long-term ecrp crim main i want you to know that GND is not the reason i quit eclipse over a year ago. it was jason steel specifically. have a nice day.
  4. Hi omg long-term crim main here !! I think 24 hours is extremely fair and potentially even generous !! It could certainly be far worse; imagine if the suspension scaled for every charge that resulted in a license suspension? Or worse, if serial offenders were liable for longer suspensions each and every time they got arrested. In the real world you can get your license yoinked permanently for far less. Bottom line is 24 hours is reasonable for an RP server. Getting caught = consequences. Your roleplay isn't being limited by not having a license. Walk on foot or whip around on a BMX! Hell you can even drive on a suspended license if you're willing to pay the consequences for your illegal actions in the case of you getting caught!
  5. HUGE +1 i was literally whining the other day that none of the facepalms are as good, and using ctrl 3 every five seconds just doesn't hit the same anymore.
  6. "just drive better" have u ever been in a car with u driving.... be so fr rn
  7. +1 for this change. very valid.
  8. yes but only if they're cooked in a oven/air fryer. i do not fw microwaved pizza rolls.
  9. crazy how you're always speaking on behalf of others whom are exceedingly capable of voicing their own opinions. i'm sure mel is delighted you're bringing her views into an unrelated forum topic. Weasel says they're capable of dealing with things ICLY. The majority of Underground started a new group and have been thriving despite the disband. If you're so bothered about SAGOV, do something about it ICLY. FM doesn't owe anyone anything, we shouldn't act entitled, anyone can create phenomenal RP without altRP and staff support.
  10. u tryna start a revolution?
  11. i think you're getting off-topic and your view of what the underground was capable of (with or without LFM help) dramatically differs from many others, but i digress. let's focus on the topic at hand, which is putting this energy into an IC movement, because change isn't easy, but it's certainly possible.
  12. time for an IC Underground revolution, tell your friends.

  14. please send video proof of you trying to do this, I believe you, I just want to see it in live action.
  15. sweet boy, you wildin if you think the win mentality doesn't exist on both ends of the spectrum. crims and cops are equally guilty for this. truly one side is not better than the other in this situation my friend. if you're gonna say all crims have a winning mentality because a handful of them do, then others are going to say all cops have a winning mentality because a handful of them do. stop pointing fingers and blaming others, we can all take accountability and strive to do a little bit better, no?
