Reduce All criminal charges sentence length by at least HALF.
EimaTrG replied to Demonmit1's topic in Criminal Suggestions
I wouldn't disagree on the hour cap to go to 6 hours as a crim main and LEO second, the whole point of this in my opinion as Bala mentioned above is that DOC needs to be reworked as there is just no RP to be had in that place that is why everyone complains about the jail times. Until DOC is fixed to actually have some fun and not just be an AFK hour farm I say lower the times and when you have a good grasp on DOC that is when you up the whole time. DOC to put it bluntly is in a shit phase as of this moment. We are on a GTA V RP server and a huge aspect of Crim life just has no RP (DOC). -
Don't know if many would agree to this but revamp the whole Fear-RP rule, now it's just plain and simple: Point gun = Follow demand/Shoot. In my opinion changes need to be made on the whole rule as it just ruins a lot of possibilities. Make it so if a person's friend/co worker is under gun point, they SHOULD fear for the other person's life, they shouldn't just open up fire (The whole hostage situation in banks is because of IC protocols of SD/PD). There are a lot of gaps in the Fear RP rule in my opinion but that is just me.

Honestly get where you are coming from, and most people maybe would disagree with the suggestion of an economy wipe, but mainly speaking I think a rebranded server with all the things ECRP has and maybe even more would be a great server, that is why I suggested just rebranding the LTU server as a test I feel like we have a huge community on RAGE:MP and with a "new" server that is based on ECRP with the economy starting a new would bring a lot of people in. But there is the concern of splitting the player base of the original ECRP if they do want to play on that more than the actual ECRP. Most of the people that do play on ECRP right now at this point are people that have assets they are tied to in my opinion, if you raided a criminal that has their whole stash in one place and took it all they would just say no point in playing anymore . Just my take on the whole thing I just feel like the economy is in shambles so new players in my opinion just never last because if they make their money and buy a gun and go to a lab they would most likely be hit with a 3 man squad of Carbine MK2 and 100 AP.

Honestly I have been on the server for a long time started at 2018 and been on and off since then, one thing that stood out back then and not today is the whole situation with the economy, in my opinion a wipe of the economy has been long overdue. Now I know some people wouldn't agree to this but look at it like this, we have a dead LTU server, rebrand the server into something that the community wants, make cops have only pistols slowly implement guns like pistols into the server with the gangs have a whole economy wipe as the server is just stagnant there, people would be allowed to play on a server where the economy reset and there would be the good old ECRP where no one has anything and they have to stick together. Just an idea, I would love to just go back in the day when if someone had a machine pistol they were the top criminal in the city rather than everyone having it for 15k Edit: Would fix most of the problems everyone is complaining about, guns being overbearing, PD having too much power, new player retention would improve because everyone would be dirt poor not just them.

Sorry for the confusion that is what I mean by saying that we should be able to loot it is the new players with he tag that involve themselves in a lab and so on doing stuff pulling a gun on a me or anyone I am good with and it's not like I mean it in a way like we shouldn't teach them but ones that go along and insert themselves in shootouts and stuff like that, I totally agree that we should protect them ans teach them but not the ones that shoot at us and after killing them we cant evem take the gun off of them before they bleed out or get accidentally finished, I meant that we should be able to take the illegal stuff on them and not all of the other items. Thanks for the feed back tho!

Who is the suggestion for? - Honestly this is for everyone as it could involve PD and Crims all in all Why is the suggestion being made? - It removes something that cant be helped with by the staff and it would improve quality of RP for PD as they could recover illegal items from dead players with the ((New Player)) tag What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion? - Honestly Pros are that we can have the guns after killing of a new player and or taken from them by their friends on the scene and would improve the RP over all. Cons - would be that its just a bit more coding. I am leaving a lot of it on a discussion basis as I just ran into this and lost out on some weapons as I see new players with 500 XP driving around with a pump shotgun and all sorts of weaponry and when we kill them there is just no reward or anything like that when they shoot at us

How to make Law Enforcement Vehicles Fair and Balanced
EimaTrG replied to Demonmit1's topic in Implemented Suggestions
So I have been reading through most of the replies under this topic and would like to express my opinion on the matter even if it's a small one. Why not just add the timer that mechanics have when they fix vehicles to all factions depending on how destroyed they are, the script itself already calculates how much the car is destroyed and adds time or reduces time depending on the state of the vehicle (tires get insta fixed), now on the topic of PD having a lot of vehicles and almost infinite supply of vehicles in their depot - you dont just park your car outside in the open while it's half destroyed you take it in to the garage or hand it off to someone and its brought out or you bring it out yourself, plus getting everything set up to your standing in a new cruiser is another point but more of RP side but still takes time irl if we want to get into it. Realistically just add some sort of timer while pulling out a vehicle even if it's 1-3 min because it takes time for the vehicle to be brought out and getting acclimated to the car like changing the seat so you can see the road putting your gun in the rack and setting up MDC (for LEOs), this implementation then can be given to all factions that spawn their vehicles and DCC from my experience always do this RP (Check List) -
License suspension and how they could improve
EimaTrG replied to EimaTrG's topic in Game Suggestions
But why not leave it up to the community to decide, per say give the power to the government to decide how long its all going to be and make them not be limited by the script itself (changing script to hours instead of days), then it doesnt fall onto the script being made that way but on the government and that would be an IC issue, fixes the suggestions being filled with these kinds of posts and more interactive RP like the strikes that people went on for lower suspension times -
License suspension and how they could improve
EimaTrG replied to EimaTrG's topic in Game Suggestions
I’ve been reflecting on the recent discussions around 24-hour suspensions for misdemeanors and felonies, and I see some merit in the idea that these suspensions serve a purpose. However, I think the issue lies more in the fact that the consequences for misdemeanors and felonies are the same length, which seems disproportionate. I’ve noticed an increase in players evading the police to avoid those 24-hour suspensions, especially when it comes to losing their licenses. It’s understandable - being unable to drive for a day can really hinder a character’s income and overall experience. While some seasoned players might not feel the impact of a 24-hour suspension as much due to their assets, newer players face a much harsher reality. If they lose their only vehicle, it severely limits their options for income during that suspension. Scrapping a vehicle is one possibility, but it’s often seen as a last resort. For many, the thought of losing their only means of transportation can be incredibly discouraging. I agree with the sentiment that criminals should face consequences for their actions, but I believe it’s essential to balance those penalties with the gameplay experience. Instead of a blanket 24-hour suspension for all offenses, it might be more engaging if the government could determine the suspension length based on the offense. For instance, using a getaway car during a robbery could incur a different penalty than reckless driving. This could help make the game more enjoyable and accessible for new players, who may struggle more than experienced players with the current system. Balancing the experience for both newer and long-time players is obviously hard and I don't expect it to be done in a day or two but a step in that direction could make it so that people would stay around and actually interact with traffic stops and give the RP to PD. As always this is just a discussion and I enjoyed reading through all of the replies -
I know people have been really annoyed with the 24h license suspension and due to people evading frequently I know that this change wouldn't be implemented but I just decided to throw it out there as a possibility and maybe an improvement to the system. One of the main reasons people tend to not evade or drive recklessly right now if because of the license suspension, but when they do if they get caught they just log out for 24h and come back when they have their licenses are back and do the same again. Now to what I think would be a good way to prevent them from evading and just leaving for 24h is making a change in the time and making it so it's playtime for example. Evading gets you 4h play time after your sentence is done, so you have to be online moving around doing stuff for 4h and getting the licenses back then, if it's per say Reckless driving or demerits make it like 2h of play time after the jail time has ended. It would give people a reason to play after getting their licenses suspended and maybe even give more fun chases to PD rather than avoiding it and making it something not worth while doing. Now I know when I say not worth while doing is something you were shooting for with the making of the 24h license suspension but at the end of the day the server is inside of a game the realism point is there but at the same time you need to look into it like this what if the person is in prison for 3 years (3h) at that point his licenses should unsuspended But this is just my opinion on the matter and if the community/staff/modders come all together I hope we could make a change to it and actually make it something of a worth while thing rather than getting licenses suspended and leaving the char for 24h.

Make Territory borders easily definable

Big ups +1 -
Your whole point is that it is hard for them to find a co-pilot but the thing is that they sit on top of Maze Bank Tower waiting for a chase to happen (2 people) and it just doesn't make a difference.
