This seems like an over-dramatization for what is effectively being fined $500 refusing to pay $100 (or however much it is) for a parking ticket. They're roleplaying as cops who are enforcing laws and if you don't want those minor things happening, then just don't do them since you seem to know what they get you for so it should be easy to avoid?

I believe is because it completely disconnects them from the server to free up resources. When on the login screen you're still connected to the server.

A /dropbody function would be very useful in the prison medical bay. This should only be able to drop off inmates as guards should be taken to the hospital through EMS.

As head of the DOC faction, I very much disagree with OOC time counting. Instead, I would much prefer something that makes "time go quicker" through activity in prison such as the ones outlined at the bottom of the main post, so doing these jobs & providing RP will reduce what was originally say an 8 hour sentence down to 2 if you spend the 2 doing activities and providing good RP for other inmates and guards. If a system was implemented to serve time when on other characters or when offline it would kill the DOC completely. I am pretty confident in saying that people would just log out upon getting into DOC or switch characters.

FYI You can scrap your vehicle for a very minimal amount of cash to just get rid of vehicles but I suppose that's the equivalent of just giving it away. I personally don't think there should be a script easy-sell option to keep things player-to-player. Same kinda applies to test driving, I'd much prefer dealership owners having more roles within it and have it be an actual business beyond importing and selling, so there could for example be employees at motorsport offering test drives and trying to hard sell for commission etc. However obvious issues arise like using test drives for sus things, but that can be covered by the same stuff as mis-using vehicles beyond their purpose.

I'm limited in how much I can comment about this without knowing PD/SD OOC protocol, but for DOC I don't allow people to just magic anything from a vehicle with /fl. They need to RP putting specific weapons, clothes etc inside vehicles if they're to be used from the vehicle. There's a chance they already limit this in PD/SD so there's not a full Armory in the vehicle but I expect they're held to the OOC standards already of not being able to pull things out of thin air with /fl. Specifically only taking 1 from the station however, that's an IC restriction if that was ever to be thought about. But from the vehicles themselves, they're already expected to RPly have the weapon in there moved from the armoury.
