  1. Can I just comment on how ancient this photo is? The player in the photo is not even in the faction anymore. Anyhow, as a DOC officer I have access to the SMG, Carbine, Shotgun and Marksman. Since if I carry the carbine on my back I can hold the shotgun in my hand that is the most I would carry. I’ve never seen anyone equip all of them at the same time (in my experience) but this is what I say would justify carrying 2 heavies at once. As for the Micro being a pistol replacement, scriptly the micro hangs back in the lower area of the back similar to a pistol, unlike a shotgun or a similar heavy. The micro itself is also not a massive size that makes this unrealistic, I do not see why a Micro being a pistol replacement is not allowed.
  2. Thank you for the positive comments. We’ll do our best to make our plans happen. We hope one day we can host races of this scale, but maybe not at 2 in the afternoon for us haha
  3. The relatively small club gathered that day. They needed to start expanding, however they did not want just anybody to be coming into the club. They decided that they would hold a race open, the first one in Los Santos since the club was formed. The plan was that the races were meant to attract people to come in and find out more about the club. However, this race was still very small. Only 3 cars attended the race, 2 of those being club members. While they wanted to arrange a big event, only those the club trusted were invited. Then again, it didn’t stop them from having a blast during the race, that is the number one purpose. After learning the track that Akio planned out for them, they decided to up the stakes and make it even more interesting. A small bet of $5,000 per car was put in a pot, the winner of the race would then take the money. Since it was just between friends, they kept it small. While Akio easily won the first race, a “double or nothing” bet on top of it made him lose the entire pot. Nevertheless, it got his blood pumping for the night. After the race was over, everyone went their separate ways for the night. Akio was cruising around and trying to find something interesting. Just as he was driving in cruise, a Sultan RS suddenly pass him going 200km/h in city limits. As soon as Akio caught eye of it, he turned off the cruise and took it up another gear. Then all of the sudden... An SUV shows up out of nowhere and get into a collision with the Jester. While Akio was knocked out cold, the Police caught wind of the accident and came on scene. Seeing the condition of the car, the Fire Department had to be called in and hopefully get Akio out of the wrecked Jester. After he was pulled out, Akio regained consciousness and was taken to the Hospital. While he wasn’t hurt too bad, he was more worried about his set of wheels being towed away. Thankfully, he caught up to the Mechanic before he could impound it and managed to take it back to shop instead. Akio promptly paid any and all bills to get it repaired to pristine condition.
  4. First race hosted by the club over at the Theather.
  5. Main thread is now finished! Big credit to @Hawkes for designing the excellent logo! Much love from the Club.
  6. The model is disabled for those two only yes. The regular Pistol's model is enabled but it is considerably smaller than the .50, so in my experience if wearing a thick jacket the only time it will show is if I'm crouching or on a bike. So yeah there are ways to conceal it, or just don't carry if you don't wanna get caught. Or as I said carry it on your glovebox, in a bag, etc.. Its up to your creativity.
  7. Its because that thing is a .50 Pistol. If you bought a small pistol like an SNS or a Heavy Pistol it would not even show up in the back because the model is disabled. The .50 is intentionally enabled because that gun is massive and you can't realistically conceal carry it if we're talking realism. As for when its unequiped, if its in your inventory then it is still on your body, thats why its still visible. If you wanted to, put your gun in a bag or a briefcase if you don't want it to show. Or even better buy a smaller gun that you can conceal carry. There are smart ways to go about it too. Some clothing are very bulky that guns are no longer visible even for .50s, so there are solutions to this feature.
  8. Main thread updated!
  9. Actually cops can come to the mine, farm or fish drop off since they're not actually crime hotspots, they're legal jobs that just happen to get picked on by criminals, a lot. So they're doing their job by protecting them. But yes PD cannot come to drug labs etc., but for legal jobs its a different story.
  10. I suppose you could say it that way. We are not a gang. The only "illegal" thing we will do is doing races. I hope that answers your question!
  11. Starting at the Sisyphus theater. This track goes northbound when first exiting the theater parking lot. Taking a right turn on the fork. Avoiding all the dirt paths. Keeping straight along the path until returning to the theater again. Includes, one very sharp turn and cliffs to make you regret taking the corner too fast. Track has a lot of verticality, going up and down the hill. One of the best tracks in the selection, it has a large parking area near the start as well a nice interior to relax at. Starting at the Marlowe Vineyard. This track goes downhill going to the Great Ocean Highway after Route 68. Making a very sharp turn going uphill. Quite a few turns on the hills before reach Starting at the Airport Parking Lot. This track has a relatively simple path going straight without many turns. Then taking a ramp on the Highway and going back towards Little Seoul. Taking a very sharp turn before a straight path back towards the parking lot. A classic track that dates back quite some time, always been used by street racers around the city. This track starts at a small parking area by a cliff near the LS dump. Going north on the curvy roads until making a sharp turn back southwest. Then taking a left on a big intersection and going south until reaching the main road. Taking another left turn back into the parking lot. The shortest track yet on the roster. This track begins just in front of a storage warehouse at the docks. Going south with a quick straight before a left turn followed by another left turn. Then a stretch of straight road before making a u-turn back towards the start. Starting at a small shack by the river side. This track goes north following the river until reaching Route 68. Then taking a sharp left uphill going towards the Vineyard. Keeping at the curvy roads until taking another left going in the Canyon. Then continuing past the gas station and store back following the river to the shack. Starting at the Los Santos Observatory, a spot notorious for its street racing scene. This track goes down hill then east-bound on the side of the Vinewood Hills. Going through curves and turns before going back uphill and returning to the main road. A sharp right turn going more uphill on a small winding road up to the observatory.

  13. The Midnight Club was an infamous elite-racing team formed on the year of 1987 at Tokyo, Japan. The Club was notorious for racing around the Wangan Highway back in Japan, often reaching unthinkable speeds. The Club's specialty and was most famous for highway racing on the Wangan, a 70km stretch of undisturbed road in the heart of the Japanese Capital. The Wangan was especially popular because it was the perfect catalyst where 300km/h monster machines could shine. The Club was highly regarded as the best of the best when it came to this type of racing. However, due to a tragic accident the Club was shut down in 1999 and was thought to never return. Fast-forward to 2019, Akio Asakura the son of a Yakuza leader turned Writer returned to his hometown after spending years in Los Santos. During his time in Japan, Akio had the opportunity to meet with one of the retired members of the Midnight Club. His mentor took Akio to an old workshop where he kept his vehicles. Removing the cover, dust flew everywhere and revealed a tuned 800 horsepower car. After practicing with this mentor of his, Akio was given his blessing and wished him luck in reviving the Midnight Club. Once Akio felt he was ready, he did not want this new Midnight Club to suffer the same undoing as the previous one, so he decided to make some changes first. One of such changes was that the newly revived Club would not specialize in highway racing, rather a more modern and up to date form, that being track racing. However, the biggest change to come was that this new Club would not take place in the land of the rising sun, but it would be formed in Los Santos, San Andreas. Currently, the Midnight Club is still at its very infant stages. The current roster of the Club is still very small, however expansion must be done with caution. The Club will not partake in open illegal activity and will try to maintain a legal image as much as they can. The Club members will not have any uniforms, colors, or specific ways to dress. The only thing we ask is to have a decently fast car and to only use masks when we are racing or doing something illicit. During daytime operations, it is forbidden to use a mask. The Midnight Club has a code in which our racing must not endanger civilians, meaning that driving recklessly without reason will result in punishments. When representing the Club we must be able to not only drive fast but drive fast safely. Update 11 / May / 2020: Akio has successfully gathered a team of experienced racers and made them part of his command team for the club. On top of which, the club has since grown over the 10 members bar that Akio has sought to achieve in less time than he aimed for, that being a month. The club has also made their first successful public event where they raised some money to fill in to the club treasury. Update 26 / May / 2020: The club decided to make a big event where a car meet was hosted in a public parking lot. Following this event, the Midnight Magazine was launched not long after, the only Automotive magazine in Los Santos. The magazine attracted a lot of people including Tom Moretti, who decided to join the Club and lend out his property for future car meets. The biggest car meet yet was made in the property with a prize of over $500,000 courtesy of Motorsport for providing a 9F Cabrio. Shortly after the meet, James Eriksen reached out to Akio and decided to sponsor the Club entirely. To close off the deal, James gave the Club $1,000,000 in order to kickstart the sponsorship. Update 18 / June / 2020: The Club has experienced a recession soon after its peak. Many members left the Club due to neglect and the Club losing sight of its core. The Club was on the brink of disbanding, until a breath of fresh air was introduced. The Club returned to its roots of street racing and car competition. The old hangout known as "Underground" in Little Seoul as well as the Beach Club was replaced in favor of the new Headquarters in La Mesa. The Club has since rebound back to a stable place and is prospering once more. An abandoned spare-parts warehouse for numerous automotive brands. The compound has since been untouched until found by the Club. The Club soon moved in and made themselves comfortable around the large parking area, indoor sections, as well as wide roof access. The Club has found a new home. Following the Club's reform, the ranking system also had a drastic overhaul. The Club now follows 2 ranking systems, a main rank of your position in the Club as well as a Driver Ranking that gauges your skill in racing. The President is the head of the Club and who makes executive decisions for the entirety of the Club. The President is the de facto leader of the faction and group. The Vice-President takes over of the President's decisions when he is not available. Any major decisions would be discussed alongside the Vice-President first before being taken action. The Club Captains are members of High-Command who collectively help lead the Club when there are events and meetings. Club Captains are also members responsible for hosting official races within the Club. The Club Lieutenants are members of Low-Command and should be the main point of contact for any concerns before moving up the chain of command. Club Lieutenants are also responsible for hosting official races within the Club. The Club Adepts are senior members of the Club and are there to help newer members gain their bearings within the group. Club Adepts are senior members but not yet considered part of the command team. The Club Members are what makes the majority of the Club. They are the regular members doing everyday Club activity. The Club Recruits are members who have just joined the Club. They lack in experience but have clear potential as they made through the trial. The Club Trials are prospecting pre-members who are interested in joining the Club. They are being watched over by a recruiter to ensure that they are qualified to join the Club. Senior Street Racers are those who have 601 Points or more, making them the most experienced racers in the team. Street Racers are those who have 501 up to 600 Points. They are nearly the best in the team. Junior Street Racers are those who have 401-500 Points. They are now fully considered racers showing their skill in the tracks. 3rd Level Drivers are those with 301-400 Points. They are very skilled with potential on becoming Street Racers. 2nd Level Drivers are those with 201-300 Points. They are members who are aspiring to become good racers but not quite there yet. 1st Level Drivers are those with 101-200 Points. They are new members who are no longer considered rookies but still fairly unexperienced. Rookie Drivers are those with 1-100 Points. They are fresh recruits into the Club yet to make a name for themselves. Thrill Seekers are drivers outside of the Club yet still race with the Club during events. They don't have a score tracked and they are not considered part of the Club. Maintain neutrality with the Council and other major criminal factions. (No hostility has been made with any criminal faction. Gained respect from several other groups.) Continue to be under the radar of the LSPD and not brand ourselves as an illegal organization. (The club largely consists of legal workers and reformed criminals. Police has not interfered with any of the clubs operations.) Start underground race events and rally drivers around the city. (The first public race has been made and the club has successfully profited. More races are to come with more unique guest drivers.) Gain enough memberships to sustain the club (10 members). (In less that one month the club has already surpassed this number. Recruitment will be continued even further.) Start drift events as well as muscle & classic car shows on top of regular races. (The Club successfully made legal car shows using the newly acquired Club Midnight and plans on making it a recurring event.) Raise the club treasury to a nominal of $1,000,000 (Due to the publicity the magazine made, the Club successfully gained their first major sponsor, Motorsport who has injected the Club with $1,000,000. On top of which, the weekly dues the Club collects makes the treasury a considerable amount.) Acquire a property or business location to make a headquarters. (With the addition of Tom Moretti into the Club, Club Midnight was successfully opened as a base of operations for the legal side of the Club.) Increase memberships to a considerable amount (25 members). Gain a business license and arrange legal races. Arrange legal events to raise money for the organization. Acquire either Benny’s Auto Workshop or the La Mesa LSC Workshop and start a mechanic service (End Goal) Become a 100% legal club, profit from the workshop as well as build a new community around the workshop (End Goal) The recruitment process must be done entirely In-Character. The most we can do on an OOC level is arrange when one is online and ready to roleplay or not. Recruitment has a few requirements to be considered: A minimal of 10,000 experience on any character. May be bypassed if player shows great roleplay capabilities. Strictly no new players, please come back at a later date if you still have your new player status. No admin punishment in the last 30 days before joining. May be bypassed depending on severity of punishment. Must show great roleplaying capabilities. Due to the nature of the faction, if you are not one who are interested in text roleplay and tuner roleplay you will not enjoy the faction to its best extent. We are not a rob-shoot-grind type of faction. Must be mature and be able to maintain a healthy roleplay environment. Must be willing to roleplay driving realistically. We do not want to see people driving the opposite lane on the highway or driving on sidewalks, destroying lamps, etc.. No current illegal faction associations unless only as a Thrill Seeker. Ideally would have a legal job in tandem with the Club. Must be able to drive at high speeds without losing control and obtain a good lap time. Must own a sports vehicle. Any style is welcome, however tuner cars (Elegys, Sultans, etc.) are most favored. Must follow the Club’s codes and respect the senior members. Respect other peoples vehicles. Diversity is what will make the club great.
  14. So everyone who has bought Credit vehicles must’ve thought of transferring those cars from one character to another at one point. Having 3 total Credit vehicles so far, being able to transfer them between characters is a feature that I would very much love to see and I think a lot of players would share the opinion. At first we had to make transfer requests but since then Osvaldon made the following announcement: Since in total my credit vehicles cost over 100 euros of real life money, I would like to be able to use them on characters I still actually use. Otherwise, its such a waste to have them not used in a character that is inactive. I would imagine its quite simple to be honest. I don’t see why it would be very difficult. Since this announcement by Osvaldon is almost 1 month old now, and people who had transfer requests made have been waiting for months now. Please make this a reality.
  15. "The end of a matter is better than its beginning; Patience of spirit is better than haughtiness of spirit." Ecclesiastes 7:8 A scream was heard in the quite neighborhoods of Mirror Park. Alex woke up in cold sweat in the middle of the night and reached for his gun. It didn’t take long for him to realize and put his gun back under his pillow. Another nightmare he thought. Nevertheless, he got up and did his regular routine. Alex was glad to be living in this new house, its not the one he has in Grove, no nothing can replace that, but at least its quiet here and he can take a break from all the violence. Alex was just having his morning coffee when a text hit him. He was conflicted. On one side he was glad that his homies were at least still alive, but on the other side he’s scared to read it, he knows its just gonna end up with more purple blood spilled when he does answer it. “Head to James dog, its been too long since the Ballas burned some leaf there. -Ty” After a brief moment of hesitation, he puts on his hoodie and took the drags keys. After the ride, he turns off the drag as he greets the homies. Hugs and laughs everywhere. True, its been too long thought Alex. Alex held his strap tight, he knew theres still a lot of heat at James, but for once it was pretty quiet. All the homies we’re there, including Alex’s brother Benjamin. Alex finally laid back for once after weeks of being on edge. The one time he does, the unthinkable happened. It was too quiet like Alex though. Shots in the air, smoke from rubber burning as the shooters escape. Alex takes out his gun and was about to shoot back as they drive off. While everyone was shocked, it looked like none of the bullets hit. Just as Alex was about to express some relief, Tyrone falls to the ground... Alex hasn’t left the house after a few days since what happened. He didn’t attend the kings funeral, it was too hard for him. Alex stares down his .50 on the table for a good hour, he doesn’t know what he wants anymore. Just as he seemed to almost come to a conclusion on what he wants to do with the .50, his phone vibrates. He knows this feeling all too well, should he answer or not. The sound of the Japanese motorcycle roars in the garage. Alex puts on his helmet before speeding out the house for what felt like forever now. As he drives of he checks his phone to make sure he read that right, “LSC.” He pulls in to the LSC lot for a surprise. A previously Balla car leaves the workshop, now out of the color. He is relieved to see familiar faces, but his smile didn’t last long as he notices no purple can be seen anywhere, it was just him. Surely an explanation can be found, Trey did say that he was going to take Ty’s place. As Alex asks around, he finally realizes it. The Ballas are no more. Even the most loyal of members has got themselves and their own families to think of. Alex is as conflicted as ever, yeah of course he understands, family is number 1 for him too, but he doesn’t want it to end. Alex finally accepts the fate of the Ballas. Nothing more he can do now, only a fool would stay in the color now. Nobody else is there to back him and the color up. He heads home and digs through the wardrobe. At last, he looks himself in the mirror. Did he fail? Or did the Ballas fail him? Was he a coward for leaving the colors? Or was he smart to do so? He closes the wardrobe and heads outside. At the very least, he is more glad that it happened than that it ended. Ballas for life.
  16. This is not the right place to forward such concerns. Also, you can apply to a job with a record, just gotta be smart about it. Coming from an ex-DCC manager turned gang member.
  17. Best video by far. I'm loving the small things such as the way you adress people "kid" and actually roleplaying tickets aha. Looking forward to meeting you.
  18. Did you happen to do this at the store across LSMC gas (Route 68)? I encountered this same bug a few days ago at that location.
  19. you can adjust the range at which people can hear you via CTRL + Z on the bottom left of the screen.
  20. "No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence." Psalm 101:7 Alexander heard about this "peace" that was struck between the Ballas and the WCA, Alex was glad and promptly celebrated with the rest of the Ballas. They finally move out of hiding and embrace the purple in Jamestown. Finally, they could just hang out at the hood like the old times before all the bloodshed. Ballas were never the kind of gang who was brutal like that, it doesn't fit their lifestyle and for once things can go back to normal. Just the boys and the hood. Now with the heat dying down, it was time to rebuild for the future. The Ballas meet with a friend of the hood who might as well be part of the hood at this point. They meet up with Jerzy and discuss some deals to stock guns for the Ballas. While they were there, they had some extra discussions going on and promptly settled it the way they do in the hood. Time to make some money for the crew. They started by holding down some labs and cooking, though Alex didn't particularly like it, it was decent money. After the batch was done, they move on to something that was preferred. The Ballas look around for the chopshop, once they did find it, they held it down and taxed everyone who came. It was wise for them to simply pay tax and get a free ride back to Sandy, we were sure to make an example of the people who didn't want to. Alex knew that some of the WCA wouldn't have gotten the message yet, war was over. However, those who were chasing Alex at this particular time didn't seem to care. After being told multiple times, the Comet Retro asked to "talk." Alex agreed, seeing as there isn't a reason for even more purple blood to be spilled. Once they did get to talk, the person was talking out his ass making up lies. Of course, being the snakes they are couldn't handle their word and meeting 1 on 1. All of the sudden, 12 other snakes jump the Ballas. A gangster without his word, is nothing. The WCA just confirmed they're nothing but lying snakes. Alex was glad he was in purple, at least we got the balls to talk like men, 1 on 1, instead of 12 on 1. The Ballas, they'll keep their word, we won't hit the snakes. Its just a waste of ammo at this point. Its just a matter of time, until the bigger fish in the pond take notice, and maybe they won't like a player growing fast like the snakes being sly and shitting on their own word. Its just a matter of time...
  21. Been waiting for a good Japanese Criminal Faction to pop up for a while now, being of Japanese descent myself. Good luck and hope we meet in-game.
  22. "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity." Proverbs 17:17 Alexander has known Benjamin for a long time. They have been through a lot, from first being with the WCA together, until now being in purple fighting against the same people that they both once called brothers. Although, they have parted ways before in the past, when one was with the Misfits, Alex was working a job. But now, they’ve both reunited within the Ballas and have never been closer together. While they’ve always been brothers at heart, Alex and Ben wanted to make something symbolic to show their unity. Alex contacted City Hall and requested for a legal name change. After the lengthy paperwork was done, Alexander Johan was no more, and is now known as Alexander Holt. Alongside Benjamin Holt, they now have something symbolic to mark their brotherhood. Together they fought together to hopefully bring back peace for the Ballas. As a gift, Benjamin hooked them both up with custom plates to signify the new name change.
  23. Having a first aid kit that lets you use it for a 30 second or so action timer could be useful. Then have it regen your health to 100% over a few minutes. Coming from a medics perspective, giving out painkillers suck. Its just me running a macro and the person involved doing /do s. Whenever I try to RP something advanced they want to skip it to just get the /heal. So having something like this could be useful.
  24. "A brother offended is more unyielding than a strong city, and quarreling is like the bars of a castle." Proverbs 18:19 Alexander noticed the drop in morale within a lot of the Ballas. The war has costed many lives and even more in money, they needed a win. Alex contacted Trey in order to devise a new plan. Previously every Balla knew where to find their brothers, it was always Grove. However, since Grove is under hostile occupation a lot of the Ballas has become lost on where to go and what to do. We needed a new home, whether its temporary or not, we needed one. So Alex came up with a few of the suggestions that were brought up by the lower members, Trey liked most of them. However they finally agreed on one. After the discussion, Alex and Trey called the other Ballas and broke them the news. Those who were there, Alex, Benjamin and Ondre were all given new tasks and a new rank to prove it. They sent out the word to every member, not before pulling some pranks on one another of course. With the new access they received, the water became Alex's new home. After receiving some news that the others are hiding from 5-0 at the shore, Alex followed soon using his own boat. Seeing the Ballas making money and hanging out brought some new hope back, at least they weren't being hunted and could make some money in peace. Alex thought to himself, the Grove isn't something that defined the Ballas as "the Grove gang." The Ballas are where they are at and if he could make peace without having Grove returned, he would take it. Longing for peace aside, war is war. Its time to fight for peace. With the recently briefed Ballas all up to speed on the latest plans, its time to execute. The Ballas moved in on every lab and every chop looking for the snakes WCA. Alex himself saw a prospect taking out his brand new Rebla at the parking lot. Seeing the nice car, its only fair that he let some of the Ballas test drive it. Having no backup on him, he decides to call the cops. Bad move. The Ballas continue their hunt. Rolling up on the chopshop, they spot someone dismantling a bike. She was soon put on gunpoint and asked for her affiliation. Seeing as she wasn't a snake, they let her go. They keep on searching until one of the Ballas spot the snake at a drug lab. All the Ballas respond and soon take over the lab. Those who resisted, lets say it didn't end well for them. The Ballas will live on, whether at Grove or not, we are the Ballas.
