    Aliens

We already have aliens, all of the faction leaders are secretly reptilian scum don't trust them especially @AG_Innocent
  2. Hello everyone. I want to highlight a few problems that exist currently with Civilian Roleplay. Practically now theres not much to do as a civilian. Being one you usually work at one of the following jobs, LSC, Bayview, DCC, or Weazel News. Some players might not be in a faction job at all. Besides doing those jobs (which get pretty tedious after a while) theres not much content provided for us. Because of this, alot of Civilian players tend to either go into Law Enforcement, or become a criminal. There are too many examples to list of DCC, LSC or other long time employees leaving the faction to either become Law Enforcement or go criminal. The problems faced with Civilian Roleplay is basically: 1. Limited scripted content. Its either a faction job or nothing, other than that its mining which doesn’t really have any RP involved or fishing. 2. Lack of consistency. You could go to a player owned nightclub today and have a blast then it disappears forever. 3. Lack of meaningful RP situations. As a civilian the most you would find interesting is coming to a party once in a month, or a promotion at your workplace, but nothing much after that. How I suggest to fix this: 1. Fix the Ballin Entertainment faction. At this moment it seems that the faction lacks leadership and is a wreck. The casino is fun when it opens but it was inactive for quite some time, proving the lack of consistency part. I suggest to select an actual faction leader like the server does for every server made faction and choose one with vision and leadership capabilities to make the casino work. Add more script support for a different variety of casino games instead of just the usual games. If needed even provide “government funding” should the employees lack initiative to work. 2. Add a possibly new faction or a scripted work place at Tequila-la or Bahamas mamas. These 2 places should be the go to bars/nightclubs in the server as they are providing a consistent presence instead of the ones that come and go. However the problem right now is that noone quite RPs Tequila-la like a bar and instead play poker with little to no RP involved (masks on, constant racism, etc.). I suggest either making a new faction (similar to Ballin Entertainment or even could be more along the lines of DCC and LSC where employees get paid by the hour) or making a scripted job to DJ and tend the bar. This would hopefully encourage more people to stick around and roleplay instead of simply trying to make quick money there. Even for those who want to RP Tequila as a bar, its hard to do when the bar doesn’t actually sell any drinks. I’ve tried to do this before when meeting someone and had to drive to a store first to buy drinks before coming back. 3. Add a purchasable restaurant property type (similar to what they have going on with Singletons) but instead make it more scripted. While its nice to have player run businesses as it provides more RP the downside to this is consistency. Singletons is only open for a day at a time and its not even on a set schedule as I’ve never heard of it again after the initial hype. Make this into a new property type purchasable by players similar to gas stations or convenient stores where the owner imports materials for it and customers can walk in and purchase food. In addition to this to work properly I suggest for 24/7 stores to be nerfed slightly when it comes to their food as realistically you wouldn’t purchase your everyday meals from there. This would encourage people to buy meals from restaurants that provide it at a more efficient rate at the cost of convenience. (Credit to Cyrus Raven for this one.) The thread is open to further suggestions and feedback is appreciated, but I hope something is done for this side of the server since its starting to feel more and more like a cops and robbers server and alot of people are also starting to move to either LEO or Criminal from the Civilian side (myself included) due to lack of content.

    Rv changes

If this feature was added you would be complaining about RVs going backwards on hills.

    The Clandestine

    Best of luck to everyone.
  5. I agree that there should be regulations about it from an OOC standpoint. Its pretty unrealistic and honestly alot of people place profit gains in front of realism and immersion most of the time.
  6. I disagree. I would say that recently staff has made changes to discourage this type of toxic behaviour. As you can see below: NEW: Players may use offensive language in IC chat for roleplay but not excessively, and must stop if asked by another player OOCly. CLARIFICATION: While we respect the fact that we're a roleplay server and we expect community members to create their fictional characters and RP around them, we also want our community to be welcoming for everyone. It's important that you understand that it should make RP sense for your character to behave in a way it does, whether that's being racist, homophobic etc - At some point, it becomes someone pushing their OOC ideology onto their IC character, thinking it's acceptable. This minor change does not pertain to the usage of offensive language OOCly. We will not tolerate e.g. racial slurs OOCly, whether it's to a friend or someone else, it does not have any place on our platform. This change only strengthens the ability for players to be more comfortable playing on our server, and feel more welcoming. The announcement made by Ballin shows that they're trying to move in a better direction. I've seen reports made by staff members themselves who are treated by other people like that. Also for your statement about it discouraging black players, I wouldn't say thats the case. I know a couple friends who are black OOCly and they make the best of their time on the server even when they're playing with people who constantly have to be racist. They also don't mind when someone who isn't black uses racial slurs for RP purpouses since thats what its meant to be used for at the end of the day. Overall I'd say its an issue but its not like its being neglected. I've really only seen this type of toxic behavior from new players or people at bank and I just avoid them entirely.
  7. I don't know about you but I'd rather roleplay in a community where my white character isn't being called the N word 5 times in the span of 10 minutes. If you want to RP as a racist towards other characters that make sense then go ahead, but calling a character thats clearly white the N word, or a female character with a male player a transgender has no place in RP especially excessively.
  8. If you ever feel uncomfortable with people using such language ICly you are allowed to request for them to stop in /b and they should respect that.
  9. I had around 80 FPS before and now maintain relatively the same amount, so I don't think this issue is affecting everyone.

    Burnout Nation

Very best of luck, hopefully you last longer than the last car club made.
  11. Any idea why when I install NVE it works fine in Single Player but when I run RageMP all the clothing are scuffed and hairstyles are as well.
  12. The area around Grove street has not seen purple for quite some time. The Ballas who used to claim territory from Forum Drive up to Jamestown now barely hold control of Grove. During his time chilling with the boys, Alex thought that its time to change that and bring the hood back to its roots. They started to discuss a plan of action on how they’re going to go through with the idea proposed. Guns and violence are overrated, the Ballas are artists. From music, now they move to urban art, its time to tag Grove. As their plan starts to unveil itself, the question arose on how they’re going to start painting, as none of them had spray cans handy. Alex and Tariq came up with the idea to go shopping at the Strawberry furniture store, and so they both get the engine running and start their drive to the store inside the Orizons’ baller ass whip. Upon arriving, they encounter their enemy, a Sleeper. However, seeing the mood in the crew at the time, and the Ballas wanting to respect that Strawberry isn’t part of their turf they let the man go. Upon entering the store, they’re greeted by a plethora of items starting from building materials and furniture. After searching around they come to the miscellaneous section where they find the items they’re looking for. They pick the colors they need and was about to bring it to checkout. However, Alex had another plan, he looked around the store trying to locate the guards there. After judging that he’d be able to leave before him catching on, he told Tariq that he will dip. They bag the items and make a run for it, leaving the security guard running outside after them but they flee in the Rebla before he could do anything. As they pull in to the street, Kyro and Lambo both stand up and ask if they got the merchandise. To answer the question, Alex puts down the numerous spray cans that he “purchased” from the store and placed them down on the ground. Everyone took the colors they needed and began work. Alex walked over to the garage right on the cul-de-sac and begin spraying on it. Step-by-step the final image starts to appear. To finish it off, he wrote using a single color the words uttered by every Balla who they had to place in the ground before him, “Ballas 4 Life.“ Alex took a minute to admire the work that he made, before picking back up all the spray cans on the ground that still had much left in them. He looked around and took a look at the other tags everyone else made, before coming up with his own idea. Running up to the house in the center, its since been abandoned and not been lively anymore. He took a moment to remember the day the Ballas acquired the property from a member of the Novo Los Aztecas. It was a historic day for the Ballas and something that he remembered clear as day. He began spraying on to the door and windows of the property emotionally. Once he was done, it said “Rest in Peace Tyrone,” the man who used to live in the very house. Seeing most of the cul-de-sac tagged at various places, Alex came up with a brilliant idea. He told everyone to drop what they’re doing and come to him. He told everyone what would be their masterpiece, vandalizing Pops’ house. Pops, a notorious member of the late West Coast Assassins once told Alex about his new house as he saw Alex leaving his own. They owned houses directly across each-other and the man told Alex about how Grove would not be contested as Ballas’ rightful territory. Seeing as how that ended, consider this payback. Before they started, Alex went up to the front porch and went to check if the old man was home. The last thing they wanted was an old man coming outside with a Shotgun. Alex knocked heavily on the door, making sure the banging would be heard even to the basement, before screaming into the door asking if anyone is home. Seeing as no one responding, Alex gave the green-light for everyone to start their work. Alex took out his remaining spray cans, shook them heavily and looked towards the hell of a canvas he was in front of, Pops’ garage door. Alex started spraying the paint slowly, going around in detail and making the outline of the Ballas’ iconic B logo. Taking up some white paint, filling in the blank in the middle of the graffiti. Lastly, finishing of what he has left in the purple spray can, he starts spraying a sentence on the graffiti, leaving a tag made out of purple. It read, “We still here.” No matter what anyone says, they still here unlike the others. After finishing his masterpiece on the garage door, Alex looked around the property to see what his homies made. Going to the front curb, the walls that Pops built now had a purple sentence sprayed across it saying “Welcome home bitch.” Alex gave Tariq a good high five for making that tag before handing out high fives to everyone who trashed the place. Finally, they look back behind them on the art that they made today before laying back for the rest of the day at Grove. Everyone enjoyed the day thoroughly, knowing that now anyone who passes through will know who the neighborhood belongs to. Long live the B. Tariq Miller, Alexander Holt, Lambo Orizon and Kyro Orizon outside Pops’ house after spraying it. (From left to right)
  13. Love what you got going on so far keep it up.
  14. I could see good use for a flashlight or cosmetic items like different tints of the weapons. However, I hope these neutral more RP prop type of modifications be made available for civilians as well. They don't exactly change the balance of the weapons economy as I doubt people would go crazy for flashlights being sold at gunstores, and realistically they'd be really easy to buy as well its just a flashlight attached to a pistol.
  15. The reason this is considered RWT is that some people might transfer weapons from his Legal character to his Criminal character. This gives the criminal character an IC advantage that is unrealistic because it is from an OOC circumstance (the player having 2 characters). I agree that people who do this by accident should be warned or such first, but even then the "permanent" ban is usually appealable if you are relatively new and simply unaware. Adding on to it, this is already in the rules, both under RWT and also Metagaming regarding you not being able to have any knowledge regarding your other characters. Lastly, if you really do need to transfer something, make a transfer request so that moderators can review if there is sufficient IC reason for the transfer to happen.
  16. I was also a pretty active player in GTA Online before moving to Eclipse. Welcome and have fun.
  17. The Front Yard Ballas has become a relic of the past. Shortly after the drive-by, most of the ex-Ballas has either went into hiding, joined another crew, or dead. Things remained this way for quite the number of months, Trey Palmer, or now known as Trey Fukaru, was invited to join the LS Triads, to which he eventually avenged Tyrone by fighting the West Coast Assassins. Benjamin Holt, the brother of Alexander, went into the legal life for some time and joined a racing crew. Others, simply was not to be found or heard from again. John Corsetti however, he started a new group from the remains of the Ballas, named the Crimson Syndicate. After laying low for quite some time, Alexander was sent an invite by John to become a Right Hand Man in the Syndicate. Hearing this news, he got back into the life and began fighting alongside his old and also his new brothers. However, the Crimson Syndicate was not left unchecked. As the Syndicate rose from the ashes of the Ballas, a new group rose from the ashes of the Assassins. Conflict, was inevitable. The Syndicate fought a gruesome war with their new enemy, Murdablock. Soon, the Syndicate was no more than just another memory. Most of his brothers joined the Four Seas Order, a new criminal organization made under the protection of the Los Santos Triads. However, as for Alexander himself, he said goodbye to his family that he had while in the Ballas and the Syndicate, especially to his brothers. He flew out of the city back to his hometown, Oakland California. He was living with his old family for quite some time and was disconnected from the life in the city. This continued, until Alex was contacted by who he expected least. Tyrone Bell. Alex didn't know and didn't care to know how he was still alive. As they met with each other again, Alexander was contacted by numerous other ex-Ballas scattered across. Alex was given the permission to take over the Ballas and continue the legacy, and so he did. With the help of Trey who returned, they worked to contact all the old Ballas and reclaim Grove Street. And so it began, again. Grove street. A historic place that has seen blood, tears and laughter. As Alex reunited with Jacob Holt, they put down a speaker in Grove street. They already know what was gonna get played. The iconic Ballas song. Call it stale if you want, it brought back all the best memories of the place. Of course, everything was still uncooked. The outfits were a mess, the car colors still random. However, it was the people that really brought the sense of the Ballas being back. Slowly but surely, more and more ex-Ballas return to the Grove, looking for the purple that they used to claim. Soon, most of the originals had returned to Grove street and returned to the purple, including the Orizon family. Alex briefed all of them of the situation. Purple was not united. There were 3 crews in Los Santos claiming the color. The Front Yard Ballas, the Southside Mob, and lastly, the Sleepers. Alex recognized the leader of the Southside and instantly crossed them from the list. Alex knew that Cleetus would be sensible, and an agreement could be made between the both of them. However, the Sleepers, Alex knew diplomacy was off the table. War. The Sleepers was a crew made from a split within the Whyos gang. They rocked chromed colored flashy cars and claimed the purple. They instantly got on the wrong foot with the Ballas, being known for scamming deals and having no code when it comes to robberies of civilians. Alex told everyone to be wary of them, and once they did find them, Alex gave them a proclamation. Leave the purple, or else. Stubborn and not complying, Alex told them to consider this as a declaration of war. However, not everything was as grim as the previous encounters. During their reclaiming of Grove, the Ballas ran into Black Santa, a known and notorious gangster. After some introductions, Black Santa was introduced to Alex as the new leader of the Ballas. Black Santa informed Alex that he was forming a new crew made out of the remnants of the Zetas, known as La Familia. An ex-member of the Zetas was also present, and was introduced to Alex. They all shared some rolls, handed over by Jack and had a talk about the Ballas future plans. After hearing what Alex had to say, they wished him good luck in returning the purple on to Grove street and so did Alex wish everyone a good and peaceful future between all their organizations. During his daily routines, Alex saw Cleetus, leader of the Southside Mob walk out in cuffs. However, he saw that all his members were now using the color yellow. Alex shouted at them and asked about the color change. Cleetus mentioned that he did not want any trouble with the Ballas. And so Alex was proven right, the Southside were people of reason. With that out of the way, the only target left in order to secure purple is the Sleepers. This is it. Its official. The Front Yard Ballas as back to the front yards of Grove street. Slowly but surely, making Grove purple again. To all the brothers and sisters who died in previous conflicts, those who have fought for and bled for purple, consider this an invite to come back to the original street gang in Los Santos.

Upon purchasing the vehicle, I have 9/9 vehicles, even though it should say 9/10 as it is a credit vehicle. Vehicle license plate number*: ZQLEVNMT
  20. The best of luck for you boys.
  21. -1 This rule was put in place mainly to allow for more social interactions. Since this rule existed conversations can actually happen in stores, barbers, gas stations, without someone having to fear getting robbed and drawing a gun. While this took a "blow" to criminal RP (if you can even consider these type of robberies as RP), this greatly benefited social RP and those not interested in joining a shootout every 15 minutes.
  22. You say that this causes ruleplay, but disallowing scamming in an NCZ will make people only ever want to do deals in an NCZ cause somehow its safer than just anyother place? Also, if you have a gun license, under technicality you are permitted to conduct a citizens arrest as you have witnessed a felony being commited and detain the person.
  23. Happens to me sometimes, usually if RageMP has been running for multiple hours or swapping across multiple characters. I just give it a nice restart and usually solves the issue for me.
