I agree. Sometimes it is very demotivating to roleplay with a new player be it in a simple taxi ride or processing at prison just because so many fail to be able to roleplay and often mix IC and OOC. While we're often told to be patient and teach new players, if they pass the quiz then they should already know IC, OOC, /me, /do, I get teaching extra commands but those things they should already know.

The Midnight Club. What was once something barely known, now the club is recognized in the city. Plenty of people, car enthusiast or not already know of the club. From that fame comes unsavory people, but also people who have found their calling to join the club. The club is bigger than ever with more and more new faces coming in. Other than the original founders of the club, new faces has started taking up positions of leadership in the club. To keep things interesting, Akio orders them to find more and more tracks for them to race. Other than the regular races, the Midnight Club has also started to host more low-profile legal car meets. Seeing as a couple TED officers tend to try and bust any high-speed events, car meets are a great way to get the word out of the club yet stay out of TED's crosshairs. From what started as just a couple friends bringing their cars, Midnight Club hosted an event with over 30 vehicles attending at the LSIA parking lot near the DMV. The event was a major success and Akio thanked everyone who made it that way. While the club forbid any hard-illegal activities, some people still mistaken the legal car club for a gang. Akio knew some members of the Wanted from back in the day and he knew their history. He did not want the Midnight Club to end up with the same fate as the Wanted. He had to make it clear that this was not a gang, so he started coordinating to expand the club to some other legal sectors. Seeing the new LS Magazine, Akio thought that a partnership between the both would benefit all parties. However, as it didn't work out, Akio didn't give up but decided to start his own magazine with the club. After several weeks of writing, editing and also polish, the debut issue was done. Introducing the Midnight Magazine, Los Santos' first Automotive magazine. Check out the full magazine here: https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/topic/38133-midnight-magazine-issue-no-1-automotive-magazine-by-midnight-club/ After the success and popularity of the Midnight Magazine, several high-profile people has started to notice the club. During another regular shift at Bayview, doing what he loved, Akio received a text message. Reading over it, Akio saw this as a opportunity that he couldn't let past. He told the plan to the club and met with someone called Tom Moretti. The location was ideal, next to the Del Perro Freeway and across PurmsPumps. After an agreement was made, they soon planned their first event together. Organizing the sponsors and prizes, its time to see if this event would be bigger than the last. Things are looking promising for the Midnight Club.

I would say thats more of a Rally car but come to the show anyway. We wanted to start with a broad category so everyone can participate.

Super cars can come in too but our general theme will be tuners. It sure is.

As someone who is currently leading an "organization" of their own, I admit that having a system like this could definitely be beneficial. As a group we have a shared treasury handled by the command team that is scriptly inside my own bank account. Although it might be more convenient its not really something crucial to functioning. We require the treasury almost everytime we host an event, giveaway something or purchase something for the group, but a lack of such system doesn't prevent us from functioning. I think a treasury system should be left for Official Factions only as something extra to look forward to, as you can manage without one.

I know a couple GNs (gay nigga) that would be interested in doing those activities. Go contact @Ultra3D and @Vez.

I mean then be tighter with your recruitment process maybe...? Seems like an IC issue that admins won’t need to investigate. If you don’t trust someone then why let them in your crew. I’d rather grow slow with people who would last till the end than swell with people who would leave the next week.

NLA already had that property since before it was next to a NCZ. I think even if you roleplay your HQ undercover it will still be known to nearly everyone because of forum posts. Previously when Ballas were in a war we moved our HQ to a lowkey warehouse in the Docks. Noone ever attacked us there for weeks cause noone knew. The second we make a story post about it and share OOC pictures on Eclipse Discord we get attacked everyday there. Its hard to roleplay something hidden, share/highlight that RP as part of your faction thread and not get metagamed.

This sounds super interesting and could definitely be something cool to implement

Thanks for the awesome support from everyone making me go

Have a lot of mixed feelings as you guys were the first ever criminal faction I've joined, yet later on you would also be the ones to kill the later faction I had. Its been a lot of ups and downs but for sure your time in the official faction stage was cut too short. Will miss the West Coast Assassin's presence in the city, from the Jewel Motel all the way to Grove.

I see where its going but I think theres a big chance it will be abused like zip ties. Currently almost every low level robbery ends up with you being zip tied for no reason. 30 minutes is a long time without being able to do anything. I just can't agree to possibly being powergamed into sitting in my chair doing nothing for 30 minutes.

Akio spent the entire week planning and preparing. He wanted it to be perfect. The Club has been growing to a comfortable number recently, Akio felt it was ready for their first public race. Akio took out his phone and started sending the messages to everyone. Slowly, those people invited friends of their own and it was guaranteed to be an packed event. Before the event was set to start, Akio called everyone in on the radio to get ready. First, he had to get the prize Mule on to the actual Vineyard. It would take quite some time as the Mule was known to be incredibly slow, however Akio escorted the Mule the entire way to ensure that it made it there. Once the Mule was in place, the driver got in Akio's Elegy and he check listed one section of his plan. They had to drive back and forth from the Vineyard to the city in order to get all their cars there for the meet. Akio thought to himself that he invested for something just like this with that Granger, sadly Benjamin was out of the city on other private business meaning that it was off the table. Nevertheless, Akio pushed on no matter how many trips it took him back and forth. Then, step 2 was check listed off. Akio looked around the Vineyard and it was already quite packed. All the cars were there and it looked absolutely stunning. Akio was very glad at how it was starting to look and all he needed now was to call in the guests. One by one more cars drove in with more and more people. While everyone was socializing and getting to know each other, Akio check listed one more part in his plan. Now that everyone was here, Akio started to explain the way the race was gonna be held. "2 laps, 1st place wins the Mule!" he said while pointing at the prize. Akio then explained that the entry fee was 10K. Almost everyone agreed immediately, those who didn't stuck around to see who won. As everyone acknowledged it, they drove off to Chumash Plaza and everyone paid the fee. As Akio counted the money and listed the names, he also checked one more box in his list. Akio took a quick read at all his notes from today. He nodded briefly, before he saw that everything was done. He looked around and saw everyone talking about their cars and testing the track out. It was time. After being told that the race was starting in 5 minutes, everyone got in their cars and prepared. Once the lineup was done, it was time to wait for the start. Before the race began, Akio briefly ticked a small box on his notes. It was time to race. The race was quite intense. After leading the first lap and the early second lap, Akio got passed by Ray who was in a blue Jester. At the end of the race, Ray came in at 1st place, Akio at 2nd, Ana at 3rd and the rest followed. Everyone congratulated Ray on winning the race as well as the Mule. After the paid race, there were free-for-all races as well as a tag team race. At the end, everyone left feeling very tired yet happy. It was a grand success of a race day. After the race was done, everyone regrouped at Underground. Akio thanked the club for making the event a success and congratulated everyone. He announced the profit that they made from the event and how it would be used in the future. Furthermore, Akio handed out promotions to members who have been active in the club and gave them more responsibilities to take on. Lastly, he gave everyone a new task to focus on this week, recruitment and growing.

My interactions with this faction have not always ended positively, but good luck nonetheless.
