  1. +1 Glad someone posted this as it doesn't make any sense at all. If LifeInvader is IC then the IC perks should be obtainable ICly. A poor person IC could all of the sudden be verified and promote posts because they paid OOC money, while if it was charging IC money then only the actually ICly rich people would gain the benefits, which makes complete sense in a social media platform.
  2. I think this would be something interesting like the events SAAA gave us where LEOs had to protect cargo and criminals had a chance to steal it. Just a small chance. If anything it atleast gives more roleplay for LEOs and criminals.
  3. +1 and also to the idea that a drill could be used as a sort of premium pickaxe
  4. I don't agree with houses buyable with IRL money. Donations should be made if you enjoy the server and want to support it. Credits should only be able to be spent on things that don't make your character stronger. Anyways, it gets confusing when you're new and when you do Freelance Jobs chances are you're gonna run into alot of new players who are also confused and might not understand the rules that well. If you keep going eventually you're gonna get how things work.
  5. The speed cap basically makes highway racing which was already pretty boring even more boring when you feel like using a top speed oriented car. I think balancing between the servers criminal players and police players shouldn't impose a script that limits actions for players outside of those 2 groups. I would +1 to remove the cap.
  6. Excellent post my guy, really loved the formatting
  7. +1 as it takes a whole century to roll 1 blunt which basically removes access to the item alltogether when wanting to use it as a RP prop
  8. Hey, you will have to find us ICly in order to find out more about recruitment as this faction thread is 100% OOC.
  9. Yes this faction is active
  10. Cool video mate. Refreshing to see more cars than the Elegy race.

    Murdablock

Just a bit confused why a "street gang" that has a hood and such consist of 80% Hakuchou drag superbikes. Good luck eitherway.
  12. I think the only reason its not available right now is because you can fill the trunk with crates according to the modview menu. The body would be out of place if put in a trunk like that. Also I somewhat agree with what @Jleoni said that this would severly unbalance the Kamacho. It is already one of the most used vehicles for criminals and adding this feature would make it even more so. I think diversity is something we need more instead of just making the Kamacho a jack-of-all-trades. Right now on top of a Kamacho you would need a car specifically to evac injured players and I think right now the Kamacho is already at a good spot.
  13. The Midnight Club. A band of racers in Los Santos who race every patch of asphalt they can somehow turn into a track. That was what the Club was meant to be... However, the Midnight Club was led stray for a period of time. Following the Club's week of major successes, the Club focused on doing everything besides what made the Club big the first place, racing. Because of this, a number of people decided to leave the Club and the Club's future was uncertain. The Club was on the brink of disbanding. Morale was very low and Akio was thinking about shutting the Club down. Not long after he sent the word that the Club was going to be shut down, the still loyal members decided to urge him to not do so. Seeing the spike of support from the core members he had left, Akio decided to completely rework the entire club, to bring it back to its roots. When the Club was first formed, the members consisted of 3 speed demons not giving a single damn what anyone said. No matter what anyone's opinions were, they kept doing what they were doing. Asakura, Holt, Akimoto. 3 members who started it all and made the Club grow more than 20 members strong. Akio didn't care if he lost members, the Club thrived when it was small and he didn't see a problem with the Club going back to that state if it had to. Discussing with the members who still stuck around, they reworked the entire ranking system of the Club. Renaming Akio and Ben's positions as President and Vice-President respectively. Raising the remaining members to positions of Club management, and finally designing a new system known as the "Driver Ranking" system, where members would gain or lose points depending on their position in an official race. Akio looked at himself in the mirror. He wanted this to be a new chapter of his life and of the Club. He proceeded to change his appearance as a sign of willingness to change for the better. After driving his new Issi Sport for some time, he went to the Los Santos public garage. Taking off a gray sheet covering a car, it revealed his old Silver Elegy, full with scrapes, bumps, and drift stitches. As he walked inside the car, turning on the engine in what feels like years, he felt the roar of the classic JDM straight-six engine. Although Akio was a more traditional person, he never wanted to fix the visuals of the Elegy, since he never considered it needing a fix. Each scratch, each bump, they all told their own story. It was something that Akio never "fixed" since he first got the car. However, he thought it was time to do so. As he opened the Benny's garage, he took out the spare parts that have been stored for quite some time. He began work on his classic Elegy. The Club has been through a lot. Over the past 2 months, we've grown to something that I've never expected to reach. Every group has their heights and their droughts. The Midnight Club was a group with a clear purpose and vision, during the journey the vision was blurred and the Club was led astray. Now the Club will come back stronger than ever, returning to its very core. Street racing. This was what the Club was meant to be. This is what the Club is meant to be. This is the Midnight Club.
  14. Good to see another car club in the community. Good luck from the Midnight Club.
  15. Here are a list of client side mods compatible with Eclipse: I personally like to keep things stock and vanilla, but if you'd like to add immersion mods such as the ones you pointed out you're free to do so as long as it does not give you an unfair advantage over others.
  16. The risk of flipping, crashing, or stalling while off-roading a vehicle that is clearly not meant for off-road is already enough.
  17. 1 million in assets really isn't that much nowadays. +1
  18. Do you guys recruit new players? I've seen a couple new players dressed as Reapers and mixing. Good luck but you might want to tighten your recruitment.
  19. We do illegal racing but that is the only illegal activity done by the Faction. Other than that we are a civilian Faction.

    Whyos

Good luck! By the way, is there any particular reason why the gang uses pink? Since the real life Whyos don’t even have a color.
  21. -1 As the leader of the only major street racing Faction on the server, mixing things up and keeping it from getting stale is something we have meetings on and discuss upon. Things such as leaderboards, tag races, sprint races, etc. are all things we come up with in order to keep races interesting. For what you said on making bets, buy ins, etc. are all things that my Faction already does. We regularly host races with a buy in and a prize. An example is when we hosted a $10,000 buy in and a Mule prize. Something like this does not require script support to be done. Scamming is something IC, if you don't trust the host than don't join. If you don't trust the other participants then ask for the money before the race begins. Lastly, for the matter of police intervention. I think this is something that is completely IC. If you really wanted this to be more of a thing start a rally or something similar and ask PD to shut them down. TED already regularly patrols these locations as far as I'm aware and I think the amount of police intervention is currently enough. Just enough to make it interesting yet not overkill that we can't RP races anymore.
