To me it's been happening for at least a year. It is because of the vehicle's physical damage. When the car does a big jump it's easy to lose control but when it's small and it only elevates the front, it gives a random speed boost like curb boosting. It happens both on the marked and the unmarked. I believe it can only be fixed through mods and changing parameters of the vehicle itself.

A good percentage of the trailers/roulottes/bungalows up north are owned by players. Due to demand and availability, most of them cost as much as an apartment or more.

+1 including what Paulo said. It's extremely hard to keep track of money that gets sent to you and new texts.
-
We don't need more NCZs. You don't really need a car when farming at Paul's so you could either hide it on use another vehicle that nobody can/would steal. If you want to farm in peace you can park your car at Paleto and farm there.

Multiply those 800 dollars (which is quite low price for drugs) by 5, when you use 10 tables. That's 4k every 15 minutes. If you're lucky, at some point you will be running a 20 tables setup. That's 9k every 15 minutes if you learn when and where to sell the narcotics. Take away the money for the ingredients and that's probably 28k an hour, which is about 120k every 4 hours. What I did here was just add more drug tables to your setup, multiplying the income. It is supposed to be a high risk high reward investment if eventually know what you are doing. Why was this even posted as a suggestion?

I'll avoid Mission Row at all costs now because of you scary fellas

@Nex maybe it's too forceful because 90% of the people won't remove it otherwise. Again, as the others have said, all the more or less relevant aspects of this discussion shouldn't have been brought up OOCly.

Lost so many hands due to kickers when the scripts work fine. I am sick of losing hands when it counts 6 cards instead of 5 in case of a have a straight, full house, straight flush, etc. It's just not how poker works.

Also you have to logout to see the furniture in your inventory again

There's a good number of players that prefer text RP or use text only. You will of course have some minor disadvantages if you are not fast at typing but you wouldn't be the only one.

Bala and his amazing suggestions. God bless him and Osvaldon. +1 btw if it wasn't clear enough. I dream bus drivers at night Edit: he added the song, it became a +2

Remove the necessity to lock a vehicle while refueling
TheCactus replied to JakeInnit_'s topic in Game Suggestions
+1 I don't see the point of having the car unlocked while refueling. Realistically I don't have to keep my eyes open for people tryna steal my car while I am refueling at a gas station in a busy area. -
This is the prime example of how it is being abused. You roleplay showing the driver's license and when the whole list pops up, the mechanic sees you don't have a firearms license/permit. With the latest wave of new players, the new government workers that are under 50k XP rely a lot on the script and aren't experienced with server rules, RP standards and the way the server operates. Other than that I don't know how realistic is for a mechanic to leave his work aside to rat someone with a gun, which should not be his focus while working on cars. Leaving mechanics aside, I thought about an easy and realistic fix for this which would be simply adding more commands. What we have right now: /license ID -> show all licenses Simple additions: /DLICENSE ID -> only show driver's license /TLICENSE ID -> only show trucker's license /FLICENSE ID -> only show firearms permit /WLICENSE ID -> only show weapons license /MLICENSE ID -> only show the license related to BLS course /PLICENSE ID -> only show pilot license (if available in the future) /CLICENSE ID -> only show capitan license (if available in the future) Licenses also have a number (when you do /suspendlicense, even if it's not accurate at all) so an alternative that also works would be /LICENSE # ID. With something like this not only we would have more realism but also less metagaming. Badges/cards would also be a great addition to show affiliation with a certain faction. Maybe make it so a legal faction has to pay to have them? It is however quite questionable because the RP of faking your membership to deceive someone exists and the script would remove this kind of RP.

Bus Job Idea To Help Stop The Terrible Drivers.
TheCactus replied to Haydock83's topic in Game Suggestions
Huge +1. Admins write announcements several times a day about using working vehicles realistically. I was about to write the same suggestion. I was thinking about lowering the payment by 1% for every 5 vehicle damage (on all scripted jobs where the main task is driving a vehicle). To compensate the fact that you earn less money if your vehicle gets damaged, I think their salary should be increased or maybe give some kind of reward when they complete a route/delivery without damaging the vehicle at all. Right now working for GoPostal or Union Depository in very monotonous. It would be fair to see a worker's salary increase by 1% every 10 deliveries or so up to 50%. Maybe even have a ranking system with 3/4 ranks to make everything more interesting. On a last note, the coroner job needs some tweaks. The hearse is extremely slow and it takes ages to go back and forth from the city to Paleto Bay. An HQ should be added in Los Santos (there's a coroner department next to Central MD). Either that or increase the payment for each body by at least $250. Right now it's the worst job for making money. -
Just spam /payfine 0. Takes less than 5 seconds to pay all your fines unless you've been collecting

Quite short, simple without too many details but you did an amazing job last time and I am sure you will do so again. I am excited to RP with you guys!

During my two years on Eclipse, some groups have done it better than others. The Wanted were doing a good job but racing was just their way of distinguishing from other criminal factions while the RP was limited (some would say limited by the faction system). Racing wasn't seen a possible main source of income and their lore was focusing more on cars than just racing. More than one illegal street racing group has been created when they disbanded but their structures and regulations weren't too known by the outsiders, therefore they have never been relevant enough. Right now the community lacks in street racing due to the fact that no faction managed to be as influential as The Wanted; a faction that was leaning more towards a gang and had its own colours, way of dressing, etc.

My car flipped too on the luberyard side after hitting nothing. The thing is I was on one of the dirt roads and even if a tree was closeby, I think you should not flip for randomly driving on dirt roads.

+1 This is an amazing post. Some things make everything too scripted while others would make everything more dynamic and realistic. I hope some of your points will be added to the server.
-
Very good post. Currently we use them to view SD cards and check cameras.

+1 Sick. Especially the "Donde esta el supermercado" I would add some kind of police to it tho, that would be extremely different in structure from the LSPD and SASD. Maybe a small faction that is more militarized and whatnot.

Traffic lights work but they changed. Most big intersections have one more light and became more complicated. Sometimes the lights allow all 4 sides to turn right while all the other lights are red. They work fine for me.
