At this time, when your game crashes, you lose your heavy weapons (and kevlar while in plain clothes) so unless they fix it in someway, it is not doable.

+1 The server is becoming too much of a Cops vs Thieves when there's more than 300 players. We definitely need events and some other fun stuff that has nothing to do with the "get on your knees" and /frisk that I see every evening.

I think the easiest way to do it is when a cop dies with a heavy weapon on their person, the allowed number of heavy weapons they can to take out decreases and if they keep doing it, at a certain point, they won't be able to take out any for the rest of the week/month (it's the easiest way to script it if I look at how the /pw command works).

Sounds like an OOC issue you can resolve by reporting, instead of nerfing a faction that is supposed to overpower criminals.

I don't play crim anymore for different reasons. My max jail time was 45 minutes so I never went to DOC because I would never shoot when cops are around but on this server you play like you are not afraid of cops but brag about jailtime after you shoot at them. I have played criminal RP on more than just Eclipse and my way of thinking this still does not change. There's no ideas about things you can organise yourself ICly and earn someone else's money/weapons or just for fun and too many about staff spawning stuff for you to fight for. There is no illegal street racing meetings (sometimes on el burro but no money involved and I see people there very rarely) since The Wanted are gone, no extortion RP against clubs and such, no nothing. Just grinding

Been there, done that (on another server, GTA:SA based). And I think it the same way. The events would allow you to earn other dead players' weapons only but they were fun so I did not really care when I was losing.

I don't like how most of the people that keep talking about the topic, include personal gain (money or weapons) as rewards. I personally think that having fun is the best reward. If an event makes you have a lot of fun, do you still care about money? Do you play on the server for fun or money? All these suggestions revolting on money and guns are embarassing. -1

+1 I never cut someone's hair but seeing them gi straight to the barber shop and come out with 1m long hair after 10 minutes just ruins the fun and makes no sense.

Even if the way people scam in-game is very unrealistic, scamming exists and you can easily avoid it.

So you are implying that we abuse /vieworders as cops? Well, no. We do not go to the trucker's yard and start working as truckers just to see orders. That sounds like powergaming to me and I do not tolerate it.

You're God damn right they were solved ICly. Look how many gun stores changed names and owners after the incidents I count 3 without the one where the owner got banned before he could sell it. I agree with both suggestions. The thing is the 2nd as right now, cannot be implemented by itself, without extra support by adding another way for cops to deal with guns trafficking and removing serials. Doing the same thing over and over bores me so I am down for changes as long as they are balanced.

Please ask around before talking. /vieworders does not exist, we request warrants for every kind of property we want to enter with the intent of seizing objects or documentation and serial numbers are the only way, at this time, to track down firearms. If no guns have serials we do not know which gun store they come from so there is no warrant, therefore weapon fiesta in Los Santos and we can do nothing about it but watch. I consider lowering the price to 1$ and buying in bulk some very low quality RP as it is on of the most unrealistic things on the server. However we cannot look at it, cross our arms and do nothing about it just because it is not realistic. I'd rather see more illegal drops than people gathering in a store and buying illegal firearms from a gunstore. Your misinformation makes the suggestion as a whole look like a joke now that I read again.

+1 for the first suggestion. Gangs are struggeling more than ever because of the war and being so short on ammo is unbelievable. The second suggestion cannot stay on its feet by itself and the devs/founders know that. Right now the only way for police to track weapons down is serial numbers. If you remove those it becomes a complete clown fiesta. The ability to remove the serials should be available only if police can have another way to track guns down. Cops raided the gun stores because you expect us to be stupid while you play nowhere near smart. It does not take a genius to find a guy with a license and start trafficking.

Check vehicles you buy in F6 (credit vehicles). That's literally how the server works right now.
