  1. 07/23/19 Rooks Boss Dmitri Leroy was serving time for attempted murder on a government official, while unknown to him a breakout was initiated by friends and allies around the city. A rook adviser, Al Romano, attempted to infiltrate the compound with a prison outfit and weapons using a parachute. Due to some delays, as well as Dmitri getting out earlier than expected from lawyers, the escape was not needed leaving AL stranded inside. Still not knowing of the situation Dmitri's heart falls as he catches a glimpse of Romano just before his release four seconds later. Familiar faces were waiting outside ready to initiate the escape plan while Dmitri was released out the front doors unexpectedly. A Rook Pitboss, Mack Tylar, quickly filled him in on the situation and what they had planned to get him out. It was obvious what needed to be done. Al Romano was inside and we had an army waiting outside. The Rooks quickly switched their target to Al and began calling in the troops. An unsuspecting officer just outside the prison was boxed in, put at gun point, and made into our hostage for the situation. They had one of ours so we took one of theirs. Badge number 6783 was displayed from the back of his cruiser to show he was still breathing. Then he was taken off to an unknown location securing our leverage in the situation. Dmitri approached the front gates at the request of DOC to negotiate on behalf of the rooks in exchange for the life of Badge number 6783. It was obvious the Rooks would settle for nothing less than Al Romano leaving the facility unharmed. The relationship between the Triads and the Rooks has always been good and this day was no different. They came in full force to assist with the breakout of the Rook leader and loyally stayed when the target became a Rook adviser. Dmitri Leroy and Nick Wong met each other their first few days in Los Santos and have been on good terms since. Seeing him by his side all this time later meant a lot to Dmitri. With the combined forces of the Rooks and Triads together the DOC knew they were outmatched and all of the leverage was in our hands. They got to see their Officer alive before we took him off location. Afterwards we demanded they bring Al to the front gates or Badge number 6783 would die a slow painful death. The Officer and AL stood opposite sides of the fence as everyone stood patiently with our hands resting on our weapons ready to draw at a moments notice. The Exchange would happen any second and it could get bloody fast. The Rooks had a Mule ready to block the entrance off and a car door open for Al Romano to escape in. The Gates opened and the two prisoners exchanged places rapidly before the Mule backed in blocking off the DOC gate and AL ran for the Schafter V12. The exchange happened fast and exactly as expected. All participants got out cleanly without any shots fired leaving the DOC parking lot empty as ever. This day would mark the true beginning of the Rooks long lasting feud with law enforcement of all kinds. GIF format
  2. +1 I would love to see a phone rework in all honesty. Group text's would be sweet as well as texting locations that would display your location when accepted.

  6. +1 Mini Map should only be displayed while in a car or with your phone out in my opinion. Also I agree with @MusketDeezNuts
  7. +1 A hand gun should be able to fit in a glove box. Knifes also weight way to much.
  8. +1 Impound is a black-hole for Roleplay. Sure, its roleplay, but as @MrUntouchable215 said Its really just showing your license and paying tickets nothing special or creative. It feels like an OOC punishment to everyone involved except the police apparently. More than half of the time my car gets impounded its from someone stealing it. Increasing the punishment on crimes will not effect the car thief, because lets be real you don't get caught for stealing cars unless its while you are mid way through bobby pinning them. I have reported my car stolen and less than 30 mins later it was impounded by an officer instead of returned to me. My worse experience was waiting an hour and a half for the officer to arrive, then he chases the guy before me for being wanted and I don't get help for another hour. THIS IS NOT LIKE REAL LIFE AT ALL. 'to much crime and not enough cops' is not a reason you would receive IRL when trying to get your car out of impound.
  9. +1 I too am tired of unrealistic suicide of my character due to a cold house! I suggest a command for leaving a car going 20+ like /jumpout. I was f totally going to suggest f this, these ffucking fat f fingers love the F Key man.
  10. +1 Illegal scamming should not be allowed in the NCZ Its important to know that not all scams are Illegal. (For instance Multi level Marketing) If an ILLEGAL scam happens in an NCZ why isn't it getting punished? NCZ's have Audio and video recordings all over presumably so why couldn't the victim of the crime get justice with this evidence?
  11. +1 If thats to hard a /seefurniture option that displays all pieces with a number associated and you can /removefurniture [Number] to get rid of the piece you want based on its name

  13. I think an NCZ is representative of more than just an area where crime is difficult. To me it represents an area that is heavily secured and a crime couldn't possibly be committed without a punishment being issued due to the securities in place. I don't see any real RP reason why crime in general, like a gun sale, couldn't happen in a mine-shaft. I agree that shooting a gun in a mineshaft is a bad idea due to space and lighting, I just don't see any RP reasons a mine-shaft without security would prevent that. There are Guards/Cameras like in all other NCZ's, but the mine-shaft has none of those securities in place. -1
  14. -0 Prison RP sucks and increasing the amount of people stuck in the same RP black-hole doesn't make it better. I HIGHLY support increasing prison times, but only if it can be served while on another character or while offline. I would support a 4 hour prison time with jobs that give time off, but other than that you would just bore your playerbase to death in my opinion. Prison RP sounds good in theory, but it would get boring very very fast just staring at the walls.
  15. Exactly, if the mole was on the supplier side that supplier would be 100% fucked not 5%.. I'm glad you understand this. RPly means the current mechanic of the 'mole' is on the IC persons side else this 5% makes no since, it would be 100% and aimed at the supplier itself. You don't just go door to door buying weapons, its presumably from the same supplier over a long period of time. And with this in mind, why would Undercovers sell us weapons only to bust us 5% of the time? That not logical.. Nerf swat? Who said that? I am saying that it feels power-gaming to track a shipment without any interactions and not give the Character the chance to RP being a good weapon importer. No weapons smuggler gets caught 1 out of 20 shipments and still sells weapons to people on the streets, so why wouldn't I cover my ass very good every single time?? Its sort of a get caught once and your fucked sort of thing RPly. Or do I HAVE to be like every other NonRP criminal that goes in and out of jail like it means nothing and continue to do blackmarket sales as if my phone isn't being tracked and swat isnt watching my every move... Because If you get caught and lose the cargo every twenty shipments... you are not going to be selling weapons illegally for long.. You will be living in maximum security prison. I don't care if swat hits my shipments and I get an unavoidable 5% loss on my 100 grand in money.. I DO care that I am forced to risk life in prison and my weapon selling career RPly over an unavoidable 5% powergame feeling script. Just give us a chance with a notification of it being tracked and we can fight for the weapons or leave it for swat to seize... Is taking 100k+ of weapons without any RP not strong enough for swat that they need to catch the receiver and destroy their RP lives as well? MOST people on the server will fight it out for the weapons and nothing changes, however people wanting more in-depth RP wont risk the jail-time or charge on record and will be smarter than that. Seems like you are ignoring this nerf to criminal Rp while strawmaning criticism of it as a nerf to Swat... Swat would still get their Zero RP scriptly discovered shipment with a possible shootout that costs nothing for them just like before.
  16. All of this is assuming the buyer is at fault for the PD knowing of the shipment, else why wouldn't the import supplier be taken down despite having 1 of 20 shipments getting tracked. If what your saying is true and its RPed as a mole, then it makes since if the mole is on the buying side of the import process.. Else if the mole was on the supplier side of things then the whole system would be taken down by the FBI because they always go for the supplier not the buyer. Either-way, the only way this doesn't feel like powergame is when the mistake is by the supplier. Because RNG effecting your Roleplay directly is never good for roleplay. RNG catching the supplier, an NPC, is different then it catching you, a player, directly. Why would a supplier keep sending to people who get found out every 20 shipments? They are Risking their own heads then.. it just feels nonrp
  17. +1 I would like to see a message like "the shipment might be getting tracked" for when the PD get the notice. This way there is no Powergaming without a chance to react ICly. You would have to decide if the shipment is worth the risk of it being tracked based on its value. If its assumed that the criminals messed up somewhere by failing to communicate securely, then the SOURCE of the import would be hit by SWAT just as much as the person receiving it, meaning no more shipments at all... right? If I was sending shipments and 5% of them got picked up then Most likely I as the source am being tracked, rather than the IC person i'm sending to. (this makes since as the PD gets the delivery location and doesn't know who its going to) If this was the case then would THE SOURCE would start securing shipments more by having a way to know if they are being tracked so they can burn all my ties to it. IF 1 out of 20 weapon shipments are found with connections to the same supplier then they would have been found out a long time ago... right? I don't think its to far off for someone to get a tip 'FBI is tracking this shipment receive at your own risk'.
  18. +1 Ramming vehicles with the tow truck has always destroyed my immersion
  19. +0 Scamming is being viewed as a crime, but in reality scamming is not a crime. BUT Scamming takes on many forms MANY of which are actually illegal and should be treated as illegal. I don't think scamming should be prevented from happening ICly. I Do think that a NoCrimeZone should prevent people from committing grand larceny, contractual fraud, and other Illegal actions while attempting to legally scam someone. After seeing this report I linked below I think that there should be more investigation before dismissing scamming reports. When two parties mutually sign a legally binding contract inside of an NCZ no parties should be actively committing contractual fraud. Keep in mind I understand "scamming" is ok in an NCZ, however i feel intentionally breaking a contractual agreement(Fraud) is not the same thing as scamming and SHOULD NOT be allowed in an NCZ because its actually Illegal and if this person has the signed contract ICly like this guy does there SHOULD be legal ramifications ICly, but nothings in place for it. 8. No Crime Zones (NCZ) A no crime zone is an area where players may not commit any actions considered crimes. 3. Character Creation and Property Players may not scam or deceive other players out of character for their property. This case below appears as an OOC scam where the scammer Metas the limitations of the NCZ and knows he can Scam there. (i'm not affiliated with this case at all) In my opinion he abuses /do power to convince the other player into thinking he is protected by the Law ICly and the Rules OOCly. When in reality the legal system ICly is dead and the rules OOC forget to mention that all crimes in an NCZ aren't allowed except ones committed while attempting to scam.
