+1 Life Invader is one of our most powerful, community connection, IC tools and fills the gaps of what we have ingame. It was big for a short amount of time, then kinda fell out of popularity. However, it is the most powerful, IC tool we have to communicate information across the community. Life Invader is still used regularly, but we should remove restrictions and permit further IC usage. Why not even move IC (forum) ads to Life Invader only, permit factions to communicate there about what’s going on, share radio frequencies. Create pages/websites, plan events, do polls, could even do auctions, have sale boards and so much more. Again, it’s one of our most powerful, centralized ‘social’ tools that we are severely underutilizing and could help consolidate a ton of great things into one platform we could easily moderate.

+1 Would be amazing, just to get the vehicle started... maybe repair it just a little. If you have a toolkit in your inventory and you rightclick > use, then it repairs + 100 and the next arrow up, that -would- start the car (despite damage, not a crash cooldown), starts the car.

There is a ton of potential for very intricate and dedicated, full political structure with elections and people in positions to connect with and I'd really love to see us have a full political IC structure. Obviously there must be requirements and there are specific people in specific positions, or these positions would be created to be held by them, for both IC and OOC reasons. I also believe a lot of the factions we have, can also be consolidated and simplified, like Government, Law Enforcement and even Mechanics. Below a pretty straight forward structure, proper names/titles can be adjusted. Secretary of State, housed by Governors, state marshals and state police. (Highest office/s, held by highest staff.) Since the 900 frequencies are all 'secure' anyway, unless you're in a department. I think they should could be opened up and improved upon following these suggestions. 900-999 would be all secure frequencies, meening, unless you're in a 'government' faction, you can't access them. 900-949 would require you to be in a law enforcement faction. This would allow PD, SD and GOV to have access to 50 channels. Ex: Gov could use 900's, SD 910's, PD, 920's, DOC 940's. 950-969 would require you to be in a government emergency support faction. Another 20 channels for MD and DOC /dep would operate and permit use between 900-969 frequencies. Department radio could also be turned into a voice channel maybe? That could be heard at 25% of your regular radio volume? Maybe it would be '900'? Primary 10, radio Frequency. Depending on what frequency you're on, the 'primary' 10 frequency, ex: 920. Could always be heard at 25% of volume. (or adjusted based on your preference /vol pradio ###). This could actually be done for all channels. This way other organizations/groups could have shared frequencies. 3850 would be a '10 freq' of 3850-3659.. and players could bounce back and forth, without sharing their own faction frequency. 980-999 Reserved for all other factions who aren't emergency services. 20 channels for DCC, LSC and Bayview. LSC & Bayview could share 10'freq 980, where LSC could have 981-984, Bayview 985-989 They would not see /dep radio as it wouldn't go beyond 969.

Teamspeak was designed to be an exceptional 'voice' program, that you could have hosted, or host yourself without. You can't really compare Teamspeak to many other programs. It is not 'trying' to be anything else. Teamspeak is 19 years old now and has a ton of capability we don't even use, even bot capability since it came out. These and it's further complex features are more for advanced users and administrators. There is even integration capability to adopt Teamspeak internally in RageMP, and it alone could host all voice chat the server handles. You could even.. 'listen to multiple channels' in TS. (if configured correctly). Discord is a fancy chat, and don't get me wrong, exceptional program, with VOIP... In the end.. -1 until we can find a way to listen to multiple frequencies.. Even then, the ingame voip is still unpredictable and unreliable for everyone...

Merge and make it universal. To /deljv or /deljobveh, or /delfv, /delfactionveh. /deljobveh Could be used to delete faction and job vehicles, maybe without having to bring them back to the garage.

Shadow - Chamber of Commerce Months ago, during a discussion with the CEO of Assured Services, during an exchange of ideas and discussing ways to connect businesses, the public and the government, Xoza brought up the thought of a "Chamber of Commerce". This is often a very well known, and practiced group of individuals that connect through the chamber, to hold meetings, express needs, concerns and just to connect with other businesses. At the time, it was an idea, it was mentioned to the Government, but there wasn't a demand for something like it, yet. With business concerns rising dramatically recently. Assured Services reached out and reignited the idea. A new year, brings on new things, we were both in agreement, so we met up began the work. We founded a group on Life Invader and invited as many business owners we knew. We talked about goals, sent emails to the state office and much more. This is only the first step to something greater for business. We will have challenges to face, businesses to discover and lobbying to do. Every business license holder and owner, will be able to have their voices heard and the Chamber will be there to support, refine, discuss and present them to each other or to state officials. This is to be a momentous task, but every member working together toward a greater goal, can make improvements. The Chamber of Commerce Is Born.

There's a lot we could transition to Discord, or even Guilded.. however... Teamspeak can be self hosted and doesn't require pay for 'levels' of voip performance and features. Teamspeak can be coded on the back end to monitor activity. Teamspeak has a lot more permission control and configuration, per user. Teamspeak has better program performance and controls. Am I a little Biased? Yes, but no.. I've had years of trouble with Discord VOIP, and none with TS. They both have their place. Discord an amazing chat and community system, Teamspeak, tiered and configured quality voice solutions.

Shadow - Business Breakdown Xoza likes to keep in touch with what's going on in business and the people it affects in the community, whether he's directly related or not. Lately he's taken interest in some of the reports from Weazel News and the ongoing concerns with increased prices of fuel. With a recent, associate acquisition and drive for the truth in fuel changes, the Shadow Corporation reached out to it's subsidiaries as well as Weazel News to bridge the gap and share perspectives from both sides. Xoza met with leading anchorman Travis Rashguard a few times over the last few months talking with them about business, hoping to not only express concerns against free, profitable and sustainable businesses for all, but to review what really hinders and suppresses, these business and why there isn't enough of them.

Shadow - Events It has been a long year, and no better way to celebrate the end of it, then at a party with a bunch of your friends, more so, being the one to assist hosting said event. The media relations division of the Los Santos Police Department, reached out to the Shadow Corporation this year to help provide and move supplies. This time however, they requested the whole feature, including a vehicle to give away, raffle tickets, food, drink, and much more. The media relations division of the department made a lot of the plans and helped out, but the Xoza made sure it happened. At the end of the event, the department was sent an invoice, and the total came in much lower than the planned cost by 26.6%! We hope everyone has had a great holiday and have a safe and happy new year.

Shadow - Entrepreneurs A few days ago, Xoza met with a client that was interested in purchasing a motorcycle. After a bit of discussion, he found that they too are an entrepreneur of business, spending hours daily, working and looking for ways to create business opportunities for everyone. He, like anyone has some great goals and has dedicated to achieving them.. They spent quite a bit of time talking about history, opportunities and ways to work together more in the lines of business and we look forward to working with them and anyone else with a mind for business, in the future.

Greetings @Qiang, I am here to educate and explain to what you have provided. In addition I will offer some pointers to hopefully assist with future interactions. Thank you for being so dedicated and growing with the community. Wearing a mask, is a crime. A legal citizen would nor should ever consider wearing a mask. It seems like you found some OOC information and allowed it to drive your actions ICly. This is metagaming, information like this should always be reinforced by IC information first before acting on it. (example: Government services got new uniforms, once you encounter one, you can ask them about it.) Again, you had a mask on. With the many hours you have with us, you parked in an area you know is reserved for officer vehicles. If at any time you suspect lag, you should slow down and let your internet or computer catch up. There are several indicators of lagging, including but not limited to. Interactions, chat or door locks delayed. People or cars not in areas, where there usually are people and cars. (bank, PD, MD, pier) Cars being all black and not painted. Lag issues have cleared up quite a bit since the last update, if continue to have issues, please report it under bug reports with video. Recordings are very important to determine what's happened IC, you can also ask other players to provide any proof to help your case. It's unfortunate your clear record wasn't considered, if it was clean, but I feel like there was something more as well. A recording really could have helped out. Always check when you log in, that Shadowplay is active. GeForce Alt+Z will bring up the overlay, good to check every time you log in. This happens often to many people, and even when they're not having lagging issues. Yes, it can have a negative affect, and it sucks, however there are always solutions even IC. However this has nothing to do with fairness. Unfortunately life is not fair to everyone. Going to DOC seems like a lot for what you explained you did, I feel like there's something more, especially if you don't commit any crimes at all. It's your character so it's your choice to actively 'be a criminal' or not. A gun license or record doesn't make it so. The individuals who get robbed the least actually don't carry firearms, even before the update to the rules and visible weapons. Players interacting with you IC is IC, as hard as that can be sometimes. However, if you have any evidence of OOC toxicity, please let us know. It was still an IC interaction and without evidence, it's hard to void the situation. Not stating that you are trying to be deceptive, but anyone can 'say' anything to get what they want. Unfortunately there are a ton of people that make a living, lying and preying off others to get what they want and that's why we need the evidence. There are a few minor tweaks you can do to improve Shadowplay/Instant Replay Reduce the length in minutes it records. (you can press it multiple times to get many small recordings and should stress it less) Record to an SSD Reduce the Resolution, Frame Rate and Bit Rate (do some tests, they will get lower in quality, but it could still tell the story.) I do think a bit of deductive reasoning could have helped explain and adapt the situation, seeing that you had no record, and that you had a firearms license and possibly a lot of XP on that character, then the RP 'could have' been adapted to be understanding of your the statement of lagging, especially if you had ((lagging)) over your head. However I still feel there is more to the story. Well, there's the rest of the story. I have been a little curious and concerned lately, based on actions both IC and OOC and statements like this how well people really understand law and interactions with law enforcement in a realistic setting. I realize though we're from all over the globe. Due to us having a lot of really great people in our community from different cultures across many countries, everyone has different understandings and perspectives of law. Fortunately our law enforcement players are bound to rules to stop them from doing things that they would get jailed for. I don't know if we have any RL lawyers, IA or law officers that play with us in Eclipse, but through the much available outside resources and information, it shouldn't matter. I have written a very lengthy informational piece covering a interaction realism with police, but will not be including it. However if you have any OOC questions about interactions, in an American setting, of which San Andreas is based off of even in RP, don't hesitate to ask.

All turn-in jobs should do in it's own way and would encourage an even spread of work across all jobs instead of finding a 'this makes the most' and just grinding that away.)

Shadow - Logistics Assured Services has been in a working relationship and in association with the Shadow Corporation since they opened their doors. They have some really talented personnel and we always enjoy working with them. Recently they reached out to inquire about our logistic services due for an opening of a new building. While we were on our way to resolve the invoice, we encountered an individual who had just moved into the city and needing help finding his way. We answered his questions, but Xoza figured this would be a great way to get some extra hands to help with the work and offered him some pay for his time and assistance. They all visited one of the Corporation's associated stores, Chumash 24/7, loaded up the stock, got it moved to the location, and unloaded. The helpful assistant was paid as promised by the Shadow Corporation, but in a respectful maneuver, by Assured Services as well. This is the level of business you can expect from those who are looking out for the citizens of our city as well as the reputation of businesses everywhere.

Shadow - News Networking The Shadow Corporation likes to stay connected with the city and what's going on, however lately Xoza has felt his businesses and associates have been under fire from the local news. Luckily he had the opportunity to meet with one of the leading anchors of Weazel News today. The discussion was a lot better then expected, time on TV, is much different then time off. Talking with anchor we discussed some plans to meet up for an interview in the near future to shed light on business side of things in the city.

I've been trying to think of a way to create some kind of universal script support system that could help improve RP and had random thought on it for one source of RP. I saw something in an RP mod for another game that I thought was a really cool idea. It allows players to 'create' items, name them, and add their own RP descriptions to the items. These items, you could select any amount of icons, you could list ingredients, you could even combine items to create said item and they would be listed in the description, in addition to the crafter of the item. While often these items wouldn't 'do' anything, they contributed to a bit of RP. This could be expanded upon though, people could create actual furniture items with wood items, hunting and ores, in addition maybe electronics with ores and oils. A whole crafting system could easily expand RP as well as easily open a market for items, gathering and allow additional crafting. "Custom Items" would not really be operational, but you could create a custom name and description. Additional ideas of course are great from the previous posts. I'd like to see players be able to create the items though and have their own vendors.

+/- There are some positives and negatives to the idea. But it seriously shouldn't take me over 2 years of consistent playing to even get close to getting a super or unique vehicle.
