Shadow - Construction & Growth Ever since the expansion of the company, a whole lot has been going on. Primarily with the acquisition of a corporate headquarters, construction has been a full focus. The importance of a centralized office location, is just as important as the business and work that would be done inside of it. The layout and design needs to be open, welcome and comfortable, but fitting and professional. As the construction continues, the corporation also has grown internally. Many business minded individuals have taken an increased interest in what the Shadow Corporation does and have begun to fill positions and offices to bring professional business to the city.

Your 'licenses' are all your licenses. IRL, when you show your driver's license, and you own a concealed carry license and you are carrying, you also show that at the same time. This is common practice, in most states, Every state has a Occupational / Professional Licensing Department and they require you to carry your professional licensing on you at all times, else you could lose it. This includes every license from medical to professional level contractors and more. Some states licensed EMTs have markings on their licenses indicating their field. How is this 'metagamed'/abused?

Shadow - Consulting Draft Business is not easy, and managing people makes it far more complicated. Today Xoza spent a few hours at the shop writing out all the information he's gathered. From not only from his own experience, but from others, customers, mechanics and his own associates and their experiences. Every business has room for improvement, and there's always more that can be accomplished and work to be done.

Shadow - Business Talk There's a lot to do in business, one of the largest tasks is making connections, contracts, working out details, even bringing new employees on board and unfortunately seeing others spread their wings and move beyond the company's folds. It's the people in business that make things happen, whether they're part of the company or not. Overall it's in hopes to expand business and create a network of free commerce and growth. The corporation visited Weazel News to work out and talk about a contract with the company. The CEO who's been a good friend to Xoza and other associates met and talked about the contract and services that could be traded with one another. Would this bring a new relationship with the news agency of which he could pass to subsidiaries? Xoza met an individual with a unique vehicle. Talked a bit about the car market, vehicle values and his interests in selling or trading the vehicle. While Xoza was not very interested in the vehicle itself, he was looking for answers to what the, more rare, vehicle market is like to possibly assist future clients in their own goals. Xoza met with a few individuals interested in joining the company. They spent some time together, talking business, ideas, goals and working out the finer details of what the corporation does and how they can work together. After ending in Paleto Bay, Xoza had to find a ride back and decided to take this opportunity to learn a little more about a new bus route in the county. It doesn't matter what kind of business or job it is, the Shadow Corporation is interested in connecting with it all. What challenges do they face? What benefits do they gain?

Shadow - Corporate Headquarters After the announcement, corporate employees and executives have been on the lookout for a new office building. In continued debate and exploration, they explore downtown in area they're familiar with. Eventually they find a building of significance, really fitting the style and feel of the brand. With a courtyard nearby where meetings and meals can take place and potential of additional businesses around. A few small outpost businesses and franchises underneath, but the rest of the building is up for lease!

Shadow - Global Expansion The Shadow Corporation has been silently integrating itself into business for years. Small investments, holdings and loans. Taking up business projects, subsidiaries and more. With hundreds of these investments and acquisitions, they grew with the business. After getting back in the city from a trip, Xoza met with some friends and partners. He explained that he'd just returned from a business trip. During the year end business review earlier this year, the Shadow Corporation decided to risk some extra funds to acquire another larger but struggling holdings company to see if they could turn it around. Later it was discovered that the company held some substantial contracts within subsidiaries across the globe that could be elevated to corporate level. In doing so, they had grown to potential and improved trade, reputation and influence of the corporation as a whole. Shadow Corporation has gone global and will start to see benefits and returns. “Shadow Corp” will soon be a name known in business, trade, and technology. With the exciting news, Xoza gathered his friends, associates, allies and business partners and informed them of the global expansion and that it's time to grow in the city further. With a newly leased helicopter, they explored the city in search of a new corporate headquarters.

Shadow - Consulting Last week, Los Santos Customs contacted the Shadow Corporation to request our business consulting services. Xoza met with the leaders of the business and joined them in every aspect to get a feel for their business. Over the week Xoza visited LSC regularly, talked to employees, talked to customers, asked the hard questions. He even worked in the lot and and on the road, assisting and fixing vehicles in every aspect he could. By the end of the week and several meetings with his own personnel, he presented some new ideas, some complex, others fairly easy to impliment, but all take time and work. The task is not over yet however, it's time to bring plans to action.

Now if we could get em a horse n ranch ta roam. Ceramic Combat Firearm - eh, don't really have metal detectors, they're also not perfect IRL, as they do require metal parts. Marksman Pistol - YES, why illegal though? Would be a great alternate hunting weapon. Heavy Revolver - shouldn't be illegal, they have less rounds and require reloading more. Gusenberg Sweeper (Tommy) - YES Musket - Great legal hunting weapon, make it instakill animals only and only one round per reload. Sawn-Off Shotgun - sure, already around. Compact Rifle - eh Machine Pistol - eh, already around

Greetings @NBDY, Hate to tag you but a fix for this is very much needed for business RP of which is growing quickly.

Greetings, I don't have much intention to get much involved in this conversation, however I do want to simply state/request.. Please stop comparing Eclipse RP to.. literally anything else... Everything else is different in its own way. It's like comparing Everquest to WoW and WoW to anything else it's 'claimed to be a copy of'. It's like comparing CS:GO to Call of Duty. Sure, everyone likes to remember the 'good old days' and you can compare it on some level as everything is inspired by other things, but Eclipse RP is it's own server, with its own style, with its own goals, ideas, players, successes and even issues that evolve daily. If you want to make a difference, get involved be part of a positive conversation to change but be ready to adapt, and have an open mind to everything.

Shadow - Theatre One of the greatest things, another can do, is be able to do something they truly enjoy. This weekend, the Shadow Corporation event team helped bring live an event that brought may together. The Broadway Musical Extravaganza with Maxi and Peaches. Maxi and Peaches both focused on their tallent, while the team, handled all the other particulars, including some advertising, scouting the location, organizing security and overall making sure the event happened without issue. There seemed to be about 40 in attendance, all just enjoying the event and even getting involved themselves. Unfortunately, due to some technical difficulties, it was cut short, but the party quickly moved to Bahama Mama's where everyone enjoyed some club music and just hanging out.

+1 I was aware of the market, and it should be enabled as long as you don't 'buy' items from the market itself, there shouldn't be an issue to list them with contact information and allow people to post/remove them. It should act as a 'classifieds' section.

Shadow - Getting Around Town & Meeting Others The Shadow Corporation is always trying to get involved with the happenings around town, especially when it's with our corporate associates, allies and clients. Over the last week or we've visited a few events, connected with some clients and brought in new tallent. We visited the car show with Assured Services. Xoza did the math, and was tempted a gamble, to dominate the raffle, but, he gave it a second thought, stepped back and just let everyone enjoy themselves. It's time Atomic get back into sales and giveaways again. Here we also met with an individual who Xoza has been trying to get in touch with, for just over a year.. the owner of a very specific license plate he has been trying to negotiate to own, but has proven difficult. Today, hopefully it would be a success. Soon after the car show, we visited an open music event at the Sisyphus Theater. Recently the company took on a client that has asked us to plan a similar event, and we wanted to see how this one played out, maybe take a bit of inspiration from it. At the event we met another individual and entrepreneur, we took interest in. He's talked with us before, but we've not met in person. He expressed interests in legal work and we talked a little sharing our information. Another day, another meeting. It's time to get our own clients event publicized. Named, 'Broadway Musical Extravaganza' by the hosts, The Shadow Corporation helps look for solutions, prepare and bring up the unanswered questions and challenges, events face and help plan the event. Remember that legal entrepreneur we met at the music event? At the time the Shadow Corporation had offered an invitation to work together. Today, we got the opportunity to make and take the first steps. It doesn't often seem like many are interested in business, especially legal work, but this individual, like Xoza, has seen an issue and pursued to solve it. He's passionate about his work and we look forward to continuing our work with them. Welcome to the Team!

When officers are using CCTV, it leaves a 'ghost' character at the original location of the officer. It would be amazing if this was added to admin duty, so a ghost would be left behind, of the character of the player on Admin duty. This would portray occupancy nearby or of a vehicle and help communicate that RP with that character may be paused temporarily, but they're still there ICly.

-1 Realistically and legally, these vehicles would have plates. 'Plate Readers' exist in real life, and they are generally RPed as either existing or being a NFC type tag built into the vehicle (which also exist IRL). The only time officers can't identify plates on these vehicles, is when they visually identify the vehicle and don't have the MDC/scanner up. 'Not catching the plate' happens much more than you'd think.
