  1. Simply put, I believe we should be able to remove the restriction flatbeds have, requiring them to be mostly level. Real flatbed and tow trucks are very powerful and do have the capability to attach a car, from many positions and angles. I've even seen a car loaded from the side of a truck (it was already a wreck, so damage wasn't a concern). In addition, With the priority tow vehicle at this time being the flatbed, and many roads, not quite being level on their own, I believe this restriction is limiting. Now.. obviously, the flatbed can't be upside-down..

    Auto Run/Walk

    Fairly simple and straight forward. I find myself walking and talking a lot, including texting, using text and commands, but I have to stop every few seconds, just to do something productive. If it can be added, where you can auto walk/run It could permit further interaction while, trying to make your way somewhere. Would this need to be a keybind or command? /walk /jog /run sets you to moving in the direction you are facing. Once you hit a WASD or movement key, then it cancels automatically. AFK concerns? Just make it so when automove is in operation, you can still receive AFK math.
  3. the statement is based on /w, which is the same range as someone who can hear you with /low /low is an area /whisper is targeted. +1 /w /whisper # should be a quarter of what it is currently.
  4. I feel like this could be abused from the company side, but I can also see it used for blacklists. If canceled it should have a reason. Per server rules, players cannot neglect duties to 'government factions'.
  5. +/- - Scripted Black List Implementation - This is something that is more internal and I'm not sure needs scripted support. If it was scripted, it would need to be scripted for other factions as well +/- Taxi Driver Off-Call (office) Mode - All employees even supervisors/managers should be documented and ready to take calls. It could be better if additional work was completed, while there was an abundance of drivers. I actually believe if there are less than 3 DCC drivers, City Bee's should be able to be taken out, instead, this would solve more issues than just being the only one on duty, not responding to calls. +/- Ability to Cancel Active Requests - I haven't encountered any issues with canceling requests.. I think you should be able to call a taxi and start walking though.. - Possible Gated Parking Lot for DCC Employee - DCC already has a gated area. They're also a transportation service, you could park literally anywhere and catch a taxi to work. +/- Built-in Radio Inside Taxi - Police don't have 'built in radios', these are owned by the players. I do believe I know what you're getting to though, to have your own, secure frequency and I agree with that. There is a phone number on the taxies, that would be a good frequency and/or a phone number to call alternatively for a taxi. + Phone charger - Customer service, however you could have players just jumping in to charge their phone, but not go anywhere. + Updated phone application - The application does need to be future proofed, where you click a button, simply to request a taxi, with an optional message you can enter. Here you can make special requests. - Scripted taxi request permissions - I believe this should be maintained ICly. A permissions system would get very complicated. + Debt system - Players that log out during transport to dodge the charge, or people without money, should be charged into debt. Please add these to bug reports or report malicious behavior as they are abuse.
  6. +1 Calls to Medics, when no medics on duty should automatically trigger a 'both' call. With a dispatch message stating to police that "the call was redirected due to limited resources".
  7. -1 Damage is based on speed at impact, and stalling is based on the impact plus the amount of damage taken. Vehicle stalling is the same for police as well. In a realistic sense, modern vehicles do stall on collision for safety reasons and often turn off fuel.

As for the activities of the officers, I was an officer on scene myself, and I wasn't happy about certain actions from the officers, however that remains internal to the faction and IC. Bank About 12% of bank robberies have been successful and takes a lot of organization to accomplish. The more organized you are, the more successful. Thanks.
  9. Greetings, Poll added. This poll does not confirm or guarantee any type of change! I've heard a lot of opinions and ideas pertaining to the darker nights, and not only when it comes to interior properties. I've put together the new poll to actually see numbers to the ideas. If you have any additions, or wish to add to your selection, please post details below. I would like to see it improved, but honestly I feel like it's still going to be its own kind ongoing issue. Whether that be players just using other mods to remove it and take advantage of it against others who don't have knowledge or capability to get away from it. Visual mods already exist and this has severely put a damper on things with players that don't use or haven't needed mods.

  11. Greetings, In both situations you engaged with law enforcement, who can quickly overwhelm and outnumber you and are the hardest factions to engage with. Due to the factions, higher moral and RP expectations, unlike any other engagements, they do analyze a situation to the fullest and don't pull the trigger right away, where others would, as soon as you aimed a firearm at a friend. Once you threaten / aim a weapon, you are liable to be DM'd by that players friends/faction. In both videos, you were not fired upon without negotiation or question and you were given the time to play out a scenario despite counting 3+ opportunities where an officer could have easily taken the shot. There was 1.5 - 3 minutes allowance (which is a lot of time in these situations) for your RP and before an officer fired the first shot. I don't see how, in any way the law enforcement here were 'too trigger happy' in both situations. The situation actually looked to be decent from my analysis but not every situation is perfect.   12. I have brought this up a few times in a few variations. To simplify the process, loan banks should be able to simply 'freeze' all owned assets and tie them to loans. This way the owner can still use it, but simply cannot trade them. If they do sell the asset, the minimum they should be able to sell it, would be the total amount of the loan. Tying the player loan value to assets with the amount, would be an easy way to designate these items. When items are sold, the amount received would go fully to the debt. In addition, this would allow the player to pay the loan, and, if they require another loan to make a different purchase, they can simply return, or choose not to but they would be relieved of that debt. Ex: If player loan > 0, disable /transfervehicle if player sets price < debt amount, fail message *must be set to [loanamount] or higher* (while this could have negative effects, trying to sell lower value items, it still pushes the player to balance out the loan or look for alternatives. If a player fails to pay the loan in 3 months, the asset should be able to be foreclosed or repossessed where the house or car is either (by the choice of the loan bank owner), taken by the bank, or placed 'for sale' for the remaining cost of the loan +tax+fee%. I'd even say, that bank account withdrawals should be 'locked', or it should disallow you from withdrawing entirely in large amounts. This way you can still purchase small items, but unable to give away your entire account or purchase large items with money that technically 'doesn't belong to you'. In addition, all transactions should automatically withdraw 'payments' or an amount to pay the loan. This way it is a reminder and ensures constant payments to the loan. One of the big issues is, players don't realize where and how loans work, and how serious taking out a loan can be, then they neglect it, try to liquidate or give away their money and assets to friends, then never pay it and/or eventually just stop playing. At this point, if the bank doesn't seize or hold assets directly, they lose all potential for profit. This happens enough, and you make zero profit. Right now, loan banks are one of the most difficult businesses to own, run and be successful and that's why many, many precautions are taken to ensure at least minimal success or avoidance of loss. There are other ideas, alternatives and solutions, but they have to do mostly with refund requests or money that is not 'player owned' that could be set and tied to the bank on an OOC level that each bank can have out at once. This whole thing however, should strictly be tied to loan banks only as 'official scripted businesses'. However, I do believe loan banks should be able to designate 'loan masters' of which can give out loans, in representation of the bank, but tied to their own account and money. Banks would be large, with several capable loan agents, I'd rather see more of this, or even more banks, then allowing anyone be able to do it as it should be done on an official, organized business capacity. Currently all transactions must go through the owner of the bank. However, there are many options for this, including being able to do personal loans and investing directly in that loan. Ex: (How we run personal loans) My friend wants a loan of 50k... but I don't trust them much yet. I'll go to a loan bank, give them 50k, they'll loan it to my friend, tie it to an asset which either I can hold, or the bank can hold. Once my friend pays back, I get my money back, plus a little extra, the bank gets a little interest and my friend gets their asset back.

  15. It's not really about activity. There are plenty of factions that now don't have direct activity requirements and/or don't have requirements tied directly to the faction all the time. Below is simply an example of what I've needed to or would have liked the ability at one point. LSPD LSC Shadow Corp LSMC Burnout NonGov factions are still bound by member limit rules, and that should be the only 'population cap' which would naturally push leaders of factions to monitor their members activities directly.

Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Enter Shadow Corp from an Austrailian VPN on an older computer. Vehicle license plate number*: N/A For whatever.. various reasons listed below and all too often, property interiors do not load in time to 'save' a player from the inevitable bath below them. I have even had times where I'd fall and either just barely get saved from the furniture, or see the furniture load, right after I'd fallen past it. Whether this comes from any stall, or slow loading, it could be hardware, software or network based. It is often an issue enough, that players don't even bother or are scared of going into property / interiors. This alters RP and plays as a negative when they're trying to get involved in a more player created experience. Solutions / preventative measures below could be added either way, but overall streamlining and improving furniture loading would be beneficial.
  17. With larger properties, more furniture, various computer capabilities and persistent bugs, I'd like to offer some solutions that could help property / interior loading. Teleport players back to the entry door... When they are submerged in water. When they type a /stuck command and they are under a specific height or a certain distance from entry. When they touch a teleporter outside the property below the main entry. Prevent falling by... Freezing the character on entry, then only unfreeze when they use a /command or press a movement control. Improve furniture loading and prioritize the base property structure, then gradually load the rest based on distance (if this is possible)
  18. I can understand your point. I have a few suggestions / ideas to improve the new fuel system as well that could balance this out a little.
  19. +1 pretty big issue that's held back some of my factions work in the interior and adding more lights doesn't help. Players shouldn't have to add mods, to counteract other changes, and should be able to play normally with no mods. Please see the following. I disagree. Properties currently were designed around 'interior' and lighting without weather or sunlight, lights actually don't light during daylight. The 'fog' should be removed and it should be set back to midnight or even could allow the property owner to set their own time.

  21. The "[Visuals] Nights are now darker" modification that was recently implemented need some rework and improvement. While I respect the goal to create a slightly better environment in various area, it doesn't really do what I believe the goal should be. In design there are some refinement tools where you can sharpen and darken, dark colors while lightning and improving light colors, in addition with adding sharpening to still be able to see edges and lighting falloff and bounce. Right now the visual, only looks like a #% filter over your entire screen and it unnaturally darkens everything including lights. It feels like you're just using a screen that doesn't have good balance in colors. With this modification, everything is equally foggy, lights are severely dim, unrealistic and show now improvement in lighting dark area. I do really like the idea of making nights darker, but lighting should make a larger difference, since it is darker. Let's see if we can find a better light/dark modification, that does both improve and sharpen darks, and increase lighting and refraction. --- With the darker nights, interiors are additionally impacted as they physically reside in the far north. Interiors were designed with Midnight in mind and it looks like 'someone installed fog machines' in every building without being able to better control the lighting without a huge overhaul in building and lighting literally every corner or step. Please remove any environment modifications to other dimensions / properties. Add property / dimension owners the ability to change time for that dimension. --- Below are a few samples.
  22. Our current devs are more then capable of doing the work, but they also have their own lives and this is not a primary job. There are a few issues with hiring others for development. It costs money, they don't really have to pay if they don't see the need. The individual must be trustworthy as they could gain full access to everything. Freelance devs often expect things and can expect it unexpectedly. And a few other 'people' / legal related risks. Seeing as Eclipse does not run as a business, there are several factors that can be just prevented. However, I can tell you this. There are several individuals that are assisting in creating, compiling and modifying content for the dev team and progress is moving along.
  23. The requirements when it comes to adding this like this could be as follows. Find the codes to generate the interior of choice. Explore the interior and clean it up / add missing items / remove unneeded items. Make sure areas are secure and there aren't mapping glitches. Create a teleport and dedicate that dim to that interior. Maybe tie that dim and interior to a property dim and give that ownership to a faction (so they can build in the club) Move / create poker tables. Script new gambling games. Test everything. It may sound easy, but every task has it's own level of challenges, and that's only things I can think of off the top of my head right now.
  24. I suggested 5, because if you can do 3, it's just as possible to do 5. Still gives plenty of options for those rare individuals who could get involved in more than 3 and even could allow for transitions between group.
