Superbike Speedway - Grand Prix I Got a Team? Sign up Now! On October 2nd at 6:00 pm ((UTC)), Fort Zancudo will open to a new race! But what's a race without it's skilled racers? If you would like to register a team, this is the place to do it! Information / Rules Liability - This event is a voluntary event. Sponsors and hosts can not be held liable and are only representatives of the event. It is the responsibility of all parties to be safe, responsible and take ownership for their actions and similarly prevent risk to themselves and others. Practice - The track should be available one day before for practice laps. Use this time as there will be no practice during or before the race. Race - There will be 4 races of 2 laps (subject to change depending on turnout). Teams will be granted points based on place within the race. Judges, sponsors and organizers will be the 'directors' of this event and directions must be followed at all times. Teams - There are limited slots available, so sign up now! Your team must have 4 members, with a selected team captain, and may represent a group or entity of any kind, and be appropriate. Your team will only be granted one Shinobi for temporary use during the race and may be painted, or designed per your request. Your team will be required to bring all other supplies, clothing, food, drink and be accounted for and ready, 30 minutes before the first race. Your team may use a communication radio and headset. Recommended: Safety Radio Channel & Wireless headset phone call to your team leader. Driver Safety - All drivers must wear motorcycle protective gear, including a full face helmet. Protective gear includes long sleeve and long pants, providing padding or other injury prevention that may not also be hazardous to other drivers or vehicles. Incident Responses - In the event of an emergency during the race, you must slow down at the location of the incident. If you are the incident and able to remount, do so quickly and accelerate where you may safely be passed. If unable to remount, move to an inner side of the track or remove yourself from it as soon as possible. Hazard locations will be relayed on radio by its driver or indicated by flare but the race will not stop. Track & Vehicle Use - You may operate the motorcycle as you see fit to compete in the race, but you must do so responsibly and safely. Any unfair or reckless activity, cheating, or if you do not slow down around an incident or you worsen a hazard, you may be penalized or disqualified. Reward - Yes, there will be a reward! ((You will be permitted to wheelie and crouch, but you do so at your own risk as 'in character' consequences may occur if used recklessly.)) Could have been better, true, anything can be... As stated we don't know all the details of the whole situation. In what the video shows, I don't see how they violated any levels of RP. I don't believe this shows any 'poor RP', from a Detective or otherwise. Law enforcement has the capability to dispatch various tools and protocols to resolve a situation the safest and best way possible and 'creating larger scene or shootout' doesn't help. Now a little insight... I would have approached your friend, likely offering to help. I'm aware of how distrusting people can be though so any indication of 'nah, we got it' would have resulted in me pulling them away, buy gunpoint if needed and remove them from the equation as quickly as possible. At the same time I'd called in the nearby officers, likely already posted to handle whoever was in the store. Then had your friend taken away separately and out of sight, without you seeing me. The idea being to still maintain my cover as long as possible. But, you sensed something was wrong pretty quickly, and the result likely would have been exactly the same. Definitely some good potential for continued RP here though!

Should be easy enough. If Medical services are not available, or there's only 1-2, any call sent to medics is automatically routed to 'Both'. Could also add an indicator that points out no MD are on shift. "Rerouted/Shared Call" If Law Enforcement are not available, any call sent to police, is automatically routed to 'Both'. With more of a 'there could be people in need of assistance' feel to them. Let the medics determine if the call is for them, and/or if it's safe. I'm sure there are several other ways to adapt the system and a bunch of other great ideas pertaining to this, but this is what I thought of for the moment. (If there is a similar topic, please merge this as I didn't have time to search for one.)

Not read everything, but how about a simple compromise, so not sure if someone's mentioned this. Yes, obviously there needs to be more to do in DOC, and there are a few things, but not everyone enjoys doing it. Make it easier to work your way out of prison, when/if you work do in prison. Not saying major adjustments/freebies, but offer things like RND bonuses and work time multipliers, harder you work, the more you're rewarded. Allow offline 'get out of jail' with a 0.5 multiplier (if you are jailed for 1 hour, it'll take 2 hours offline) This could even have the added benefit of promoting playing a different character, and using your playtime wisely instead of getting stuck in jail. Add more work items, and allow roadside/roadwork activities and tie it to a DOC bus. This would help get DOC and good behavior Prisoners out and about a little more. @Chunder, feel free to add these to your thread and quote this post. I like the idea, setting up a private ticket system. Unfortunately I can see it heavily abused as well or used where players expect their in-game or forum reports to be rushed. The best solution would be to have a webhook that pings or notifies staff when a new post is created in https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/forum/4-player-reports/ and when a report is created in-game, like Weazel.

The Shadow Corporation main focus has always been business and consulting, with a few extra activities. In the line of business and property management though, there's always been overlooked services for both commercial and residential properties; Surveying and Inspections. With ownership comes responsibility and Xoza looks to help others realize the potential for growth and understanding, both inside and outside property. Greetings! +1 to support improvement of the hunting experience. Expand the hunting grounds. (Agreed, the entire northern end of the state should be 'wild' and animals can be placed in proper areas with raycasting.) Fix the animals. (Unfortunately this would require NPC like behavior, which is very minimal to spare server resources and stability.) Increase the spawn rate of wild game and decrease the spawn rate of farm animals. (Agreed, more or less.) Hunting License & Interactions tied with it like Game Warden and Poaching. (Agreed, to simply sell to an authorized retailer you should have a license saying you know how to kill and prepare it.) I've also always been in support of resource supply, demand and impact, based on player involvement. Supplies (of all kinds) supply shipping sources. If players don't hunt enough meat or turn in enough grain, store resources dwindle and the import price increases. If supplies are low, the pay to do that job is increased, until it normalizes of which the price returns.

You are correct, and they should read the model of said vehicle, or know what model it is. There are several vehicles especially government vehicles that say models that aren't exactly what they look like, like "PoliceScout2" instead of "Scout". This suggestion is not to make understanding our vehicles more complicated, but to make them more realistic and increase RP interaction about vehicles and knowing them, with a little benefit of players not metagaming the difference between an unmarked government vehicle vs the standard model from a distance.

Shadow - Chamber of Commerce Meet Again Business continues, but grows stagnant. Luckily much of the Shadow Corporation maintains levels of personal management with routine and business management automation and practices. But there is still so much to explore, to expand and many with the passion to do so. What shall we do with so little support to do it? Will citizens have the time and resources it takes, or care enough just to get something started? Our negotiations and attempts to reach out to the the government, after the first Chamber of Commerce meeting went unanswered. The government continues regulations and changes, without companies or citizens input. Assured Services proposed to again open another Chamber of Commerce meeting where we could bring up issues, even more recent, express concerns and attempt to strike up a conversation again and actively work on solutions. The lack of support and a free market and the high costs have oppressed businesses and growth potential for too long, and it's time again to bring these to the leaders of the city. The Chamber of Commerce is a private entity, a collaboration of business owners and entrepreneurs who have, or want to start and grow business in the state. It's speakers, Paulo Witherfork and Xoza Shadow stand at the head to represent and drive progress and discussion with the state, that holds, often too much oversight in the lives of our citizens. Many concerns were brought up, and many great ideas, including this. The government listened to each thought also many were great ideas and agreed there were areas that could see improvement, but discussed that , much could go unanswered for months with no progress like in the past. Has the government turned over a new leaf lately? According to there representatives, there are great new things coming, and some not so great, but manpower has always been an issue. Many sitting in that very room, speaking their concerns were willing to lend a hand, to see success not only in business, but in government tasks and routines as well. Will the government support business, will businesses grow? Or will both continue to remain stagnant?
