  1. -1 DCC App has a count for how many taxi drivers are on shift same should be for mechanics so you don't waste time waiting. As stated in previous comments, not everyone plays for 5 hours a day so no need to waste that time hoping for a reply. Realistically LSC/Bayview should be on the phone instead of commands but that's another topic.

  4. This could be a whole other suggestion in terms of making a more advanced repair system, both giving more RP to mechanics and when repairing vehicles. Maybe ill go write up a post or something sometime soon.

  6. Could a custom build interior not be built like how properties work, right now they are just squares with walls, why not just general a slightly more decorated shape with some other objects to make it an interior?

Big +1 for renting apartments/motels Having lower level housing options for new citizens should be accessible, not having to get 400k for a 1G There are plenty of motels that are on the south side and probably some in Sandy/Paleto that could be great for rented areas. Pay a few thousand a week (3-5k?) and get it till you either cancel or let it expire which you items would just stay in the place until someone else bought that apartment. Before someone says oh those are already properties, there are like 500 apartments each in the towers that are like 25 stories, I'm sure we could add like 20-30 small motels to a few locations and make room

  9. The people in the position of the pay raise would be people who have played the server for years already, increasing the top 2 ranks really wouldn't help new people join for base pay still. "The stores are run by player owned businesses so they have to be priced high so they can make money!" Freelance jobs are not a guaranteed income for being clocked on in any job, busy or not factions get paid. MD can make crazy money with patient drop off bonuses and working with a friend doing a duo shift along with hourly. To the original post, does increasing pay by 2k or 3k really give any balance to the game? No. It just is going to inflate the economy more and make people who only make 5k unable to afford anything really
  10. I didn't really read most of this if I'm being honest, but my biggest thing that would fix Air-1/Alpha would just lower the amount of fuel it has so it has to refuel. It can obviously come back out after refueling but it makes a chance to escape since the sewers are still closed, makes the ground units have to pay more attention and not lose VC and rely on the heli. Heli pilots can still be very skilled and make it count with less fuel.

As someone who owned a mechanic shop for a few months that the pay was practically like $1000 an hour MAYBE, I can tell you its about the environment and the kind of people you have working there and the community you build. I haven't gone to LSC in a few years outside of a few occasions ICly so I don't know anything about the RP, but if people aren't working I can tell you it more than likely isn't a monetary issue. I can say its based around how the a business is ran, its the same thing with plenty of other factions that have had low amounts of people RPing that specific job, money isn't the issue. From a few of the previous factions where we had people stop playing that role, its been because of the way things were being ran, or lack thereof. Hopefully LSC can get a grasp and fix it because it is a large issue for the server. Offering money as an incentive may attract employees at first, but it may not keep them interested in the long run. Employees may be motivated by the chance to contribute to the growth of the server, build relationships with other players and staff, and engage in creative storytelling
  12. Oh that's sick, I think maybe instead of it being an automatic AD that is ran, employees and put in a request to have it manually ran when they are on duty without paying and using the prepaid bulk ads so they don't have to spend money the "company" would have already paid for!
  13. I think if @Asbo (so long as you are still Weazel CEO?) would think about letting Weazel news run ads for Burgershot. Time and time again when I have worked and asked Weazel news to run an ad that there is a worker and it is open I have been told they don't make ads for Burgershot. Why not though?? Its a government funded place with all the proper licenses RPly, I see zero reason to not allow this to happen so people know they can get food!

I tried to convert a large warehouse into a storage unit / uhaul thingy, but was told I couldn't advertise at weazel because there wasn't a business license for it so I just stopped, but a player made thing could be a thing if you really wanted. I am sure the rules have changed by now with new business ideas they didn't pre-plan for?

Is the property limit going to be increased with the 2 that are granted along with a warehouse (unsure if a warehouse counts towards a property), or would these be owned by FM, and you could give the manageperm which allows you to give perms to everyone without having to own it. Realistically a legal faction will get a property through the IC system before they are even close to official, being granted one at early would be 2 which is the limit, and if you get a warehouse that could be 3? Then if you get the higher tier for another one that would end up being 3/4. Would factions that already have properties just skip over that then?

This just isn't a good take, imagine saying "We are putting a limit on the amount of criminal factions that can be made to 3 because we peak 150 players and we don't want people too spread out" There is a reason there are only 2 official business factions outside of MPT on the server, and both of them run because they own several scripted businesses that require minimal intervention to make money

  18. Hi just to speak as the owner of MPT here, we only went through IC ways of getting everything we got. After 6 months of just RPing with ourselves in terms of what support we could actually do. We partnered with Bayview in order to be able to repair vehicles, we have been doing this for about another 6 months. Unforunetly, once we got official and eventually asked for full script support it was denied. Outside of the IC things we could do, we have no unique script support. It was a long 6 months of attempting to get repairs alone and it has been fun, but frustrating that's for sure. It is challenging and everyone who works at MPT does it for the RP, there is no money making involved, because we can't make money while competing with either of the mechanic factions, but again, we do it for the RP. tl;dr we didn't get script support from anything, just IC methods of working around the script to use it for our advantage. edit: just checked our ledger, we are -$1.4m on the business, thankfully people like our RP so they donate xD edit2: would be pretty sick if we could get full script support after a year of pretty solid RP within the game that multiple factions have interacted with, ty FM

  21. The price to fully max a warrener should not be the same as a 10F/Paragon/Elegy Retro Custom Like my previous suggestion about engine repair costs. I think that the price for PERFORMANCE Modifications (Suspension, Engine, Brakes, etc) should be based off of the import cost of the vehicle. This way a player with 7k and a warrener doesn't need to spend 67k to max a warrener fully. I think maxed vehicles shouldn't cost more than the price of the vehicle, all of the mods we give are not crazy performance boosts. Sure you might get about +10-20MPH difference but it isn't crazy. $0 - $50,000 Vehicle Import Cost - 50% Import Vehicle Costs to Max ($50,000 would be $25,000 to max) $50,001 - $200,000 Vehicle Import Cost - 35% Import Vehicle Costs to Max ($200,000 would be $70,000 to max) $200,001 - $400,000 Vehicle Import Cost - 20% Import Vehicle Costs to Max ($400,000 would be $80,000 to max) $400,001 - $750,000 Vehicle Import Cost - 15% Import Vehicle Costs to Max ($750,000 would be $112,500 to max) $750,001 and Above Vehicle Import Cost - 10% Import Vehicle Costs to Max ($1,200,000 would be $120,000 to max) Obviously these would be distributed to every modification equally (Suspension, Engine, Brakes, etc) compared to the prices now. These are just random number I figured out be they seem fair, the more expensive a vehicle is the more it would take for it to be upgraded with performance parts. I still think all cosmetic things are fair pricing.
