  1. some days ketchup, some days ranch, some days I just raw dog them with no sauce if they are crunchy salty
  2. I was only talking about your point of only allowing you to use a repair kit on vehicles you have keys for. I don't think that should be the case. No one is going to chop a car for money when they lose money on the repair kit if it is priced at 8/10k. Player-owned cars do not give you much money at all. I know it is supposed to be used on player cars, not NPC cars
  3. I'm sort of against this, you could use it on a friend's car, or something to repark it. Also as far as I know, player's vehicles maybe give you like 3/4k instead of the NPC cars that provide a whole lot more, so if the item is worth more it wouldn't even make you money.
  4. One way this could be interesting is that the repair kits do less and less over time, maybe after 3/4 uses before it NEEDS to go to a mechanic shop to get professionally fixed. The first kit can repair your vehicle to around 80%, the second time max of 50%, and the third repair makes it just able to start so it isn't perma stalled. You then have to take it into the mechanics to get fixed and then that count restarts. If it were a diminishing return, I would only use the first one and then go to the mechanic shop. You could also make the repair kit cost a decent chunk of change so it is a convenience item rather than a replacement for the mechanic shop. There are a ton of different ways to implement this sort of feature, just need to find the one that brings the best balance without nuking mechanic shops (we love mechanics)
  5. I can't lie when I first joined the server I just watched ECRP YouTube videos from uh Zez I think was his name (yes I know he got banned). I ended up going to some of the spots he went to and ended up at a Zeta car meet, it was like all the gangs back then doing races at the garbage track. I met a bunch of cool people and it just went on from there. After I met those people I did some freelance here and there and borrowed a car from the "richer" people to race and hang out with when they were around. That pipelined me into working at a mechanic shop to repair for the racing people. I haven't looked at what content is outside of Twitch streams, but I think getting some series on YouTube would help people get used to the server and what it is about. I want to try a criminal character soon to see what that side of the server is like. You have to find the players who want to talk and make RP instead of the grind mindset.
  6. I don't really know about the pricing, devs can figure it out but I suggested the mod price change a while back. We already have variable repair costs now, so this might be the next thing to change! Then on to the prices of those C/D tier cars
  7. No illegal activities can be conducted in private groups on Lifeinvader such as requesting backup and/or selling/buying weapons/drugs. I don't know if this still involved freqs because it used to when it first came out but sadly not allowed.
  8. It would be cool to see an item you can buy in the store like a cleaning bucket that had like 2-5 uses then it would empty... Have it be on a timer that goes like 15-20 seconds. You could make it so it doesn't animation lock, so you can walk around the car and create RP at a carwash event or something. Right now the money goes nowhere except out of the economy. Someone new to the server could offer carwashes for a cheap LEGAL way to make money. You can also add another car wash spot for convenience, or maybe more affordable than the item. General Stores would make money -> businesses could fundraise, clubs, solo civilians -> people could get clean cars. Mechanic shops could add it on as an additional cost so they can make money. You could make the item a little more pricey than the $1000(?) for the carwash. say 5 uses it could be like $5000 import cost and businesses could sell it for whatever so you aren't cheating out the script at all To add to what Ranger said, adding the paleto/sandy one would also make the VIP feature more worth it as well since it helps with the fees
  9. I've made multiple millions from criminal RP and never once got my house/property raided or arrested (minus a reckless op or two) To be fair, I don't touch guns so I don't get seen with shotguns and aks while randomly driving around but that's just part of it I guess.
  10. Is there a way we can be told the exact car despawn timer for vehicles that are owned by players who logged out? I hear 2 hours, I hear 4 hours. I just want a concrete number or way the timer resets. Does getting in the vehicle and getting out right away reset the timer for the amount of time? Is there a reason this is still in the game now that chopping is more prevalent? Shouldn't it be up to the players to park the cars they own instead of leaving them out on the street, I doubt it has that much of a performance issue, im sure most people park.
  11. It would be nice if this was automatically done since we do turn off the fare for off-duty members as well, but this allows people to introduce each other while off duty if someone doesn't know someone.
  12. This, it is up to us the players to make sure nothing is clipping and nothing is messed up. same with the clothes that are bugged, just don't wear them.
  13. How it currently works: Everyone that isn't the driver pays a fare when they get out of the taxi How it SHOULD work: Everyone who isn't currently on duty should pay the fare, DCC members who are clocked in shouldn't ever pay a fare because they are working. Possible solution: Run a quick check on the people getting out of the car and if they are on duty for DCC, simple do not charge them, if they are not on duty for DCC, charge them Reason: We have Buddy Wednesdays and Buddy Sundays where people do ridealongs or even for training, and if you run up the fare and get out of the taxi before the driver because that cancels the fare, you end up paying a lot of money with zero way of getting it back (despite it going into the treasury?) really cool and neat feature!
  14. +1 also make a better UI for vending machines so we can buy multiples, honestly might as well add burger shot as well so people don't have to burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.burger.fries.soda for a large order from like DCC or Weazel whenever they come in
  15. Simply add a timer or something where you have to wait for a cart to be ready, realistically this should just be something used for RP and traveling and such and not a means to evade.

    Longfin boat

Simply add a cool boat and balance it! More boats > +1
  17. This is still a bug. When people are in the taxi, the driver's current fare price [$0] is always at zero, the passengers get updated with the command /taxidrivers Scottie_Keeton was the driver and I was the passengers, so it should show a fare for Scottie but not myself, Elias.

  19. +1, but make a confirm menu and let them know otherwise people are going to pull salary thinking it is normal and there will just be a bunch of report glitches like "omg less money" because lets be real I would do the same thing without reading lol I think all banks should be 24/7, especially with people being able to play limited times
  20. Or even half way through once the security company gets back from their coffee break they look at see the man smacking it and then they alert the PD!
  21. +1 to the original suggestion another follow-up, do those ATMS still have the same limit as outside ones that aren't connected to a bank? (there are still ATMs in the banks right)
