  1. NPC cars have the same exact speed, there is no different difficulty for those, that is the main point
  2. I can't lie, depending on who I am repairing the vehicle for and if they actually want to hold a conversation, I just type basic things and build LORE and RP with the characters rather than type an essay out. Other times if they have specific things they are like /do x would be broken with a scratched y, I would do more in-depth RP. Depends on the person for how I go about the RP Edit: I didn't read the rest of the replies before sending this, but when I was in MD I definitely used soundboards all of the time with little /me's and /do's whether it be bandage duct tape, or velcro etc. Soundboards done correctly >
  3. Weazel used to get bonuses for doing bulk ads which was available for everyone when it was in place. Fairly certain this was a manual payout nothing scripted MD gets $200(?) per body dropped off at the hospital. This one is scripted I am sure all the other companies could do commission if they really wanted to give extra incentives, have something they fill out or something to keep track of calls completed, fill out a form if you do a mechanic request, and get a little bonus for taking them. I feel like a lot of this could be done IC, though I guess it's all up to the head admins to allow it, however, that should also be handled IC if there are budget checks and such.
  4. I just want to say this sounds like a full and proper drug addict mentality.
  5. For the past 6 months, I have been trying to get MPT back up with a contract to allow scripted repairs, at first I tried to get a contract with Bayview, but the governors said I had to go to LSC to get a contract, then was told that I had to wait for LSC to get its employment up, now i have to wait for the new LSC owner to get announced which will probably be another few months. We still do RP repairs and such with tuning special cars and time trails with upgraded cars and have been working on a class system for a racing app again. To give a little insight into how Liam and I set up the contract this time around; MPT would pay a monthly fee for the tool rentals, and then if we have a really good month, give a few % of our profit to LSC. I have always been a fan of this +1
  6. I mean I've done weazel ads with cyphers in them that people knew how to decode, just make a business page and act like you are opening up and have some sort of cypher and its an easy thing to do
  7. We can RP blindfolds! ( would be neat but other dev things should be on the list before this )
  8. Without any dev work or radical changes, one of the other big issues that I see a lot with the two mechanic shops is the treatment of employees by the ECRP community. All anyone ever does is shit-talk them to tell them to work fast. Those kinds of people ruin the RP for everyone "Oh im just frustrated IC". No, you aren't, relax it's a game and people have lives. If you have so much time to play the game and wait 4 hours for a mechanic to accept your MR, go work at a shop and get free repairs for your car any time you want and help out everyone else while making a lot of money, I am sure it is super easy and fun! End of the day, mechanics have lives, they would rather go outside or play on another character when all that happens is you get shit talked to and shot at because "no one is around". Unfortunately, all these kinds of jobs are being paid by the government instead of all the money being handled internally with labor costs and paying out that way, so there is a limit on how much of a criminal you can be to still be employed at these places. I know a bunch of servers allow you to work at these jobs while being a criminal so long as they aren't murderers, but evading and less brutal crimes are allowed to continue employment. Might be something to look into in the future. For example, mechanics in the past have had race crews stem from the shop, LS Underground, for example, was a bunch of managers and mechanics who liked to street race, but if they got caught they were fired and had to turn illegal or go do nothing for 3 months until they can get hired again maybe. I feel like an owner of a garage might turn a blind eye to that so rt of thing, but again these factions are government-funded so the government can't be "funding criminals". If we allowed other kinds of criminal RP to take place with you to keep the job without the CEO of these companies getting fired or forced to fire you, it would also promote different sorts of criminal factions to become more of a thing without having to rely on shootouts to make money once you get fired from your job. Obviously, if people go and start murdering a bunch of people yea, you can not really turn a blind eye to that one. Also just quoting this so it doesn't get lost for all the people reading this 15 messages down. Currently, use the staff if there are no members online! (Please remember this still requires a Mod+ to do this which may also not be available at certain times of the day)
  9. +1 The check should be for everyone because realistically most radios don't just have a "quick release" there are cables and such you have to plug in which takes time. Personally I also think a GPS in a car should work like a charger, use it once and be done with it, up to you to have a spare one in your inventory for when you are outside of a vehicle.
  10. Here is a little helper AHK script I made with some random stuff I found useful. Press F3 to open the menu https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DIZriCYmu58to7D7D9kX_znr9mFK-A1L/view?usp=drive_link (made the script because this has been suggested, most notably by Xoza like 2 years ago)
  11. It was suggested because it is so boring with no level of skill required to do either of the events. I am cool with leaving the hotwiring slow because at least that requires some skill. I think the only way of being caught because you are "slow" at picking the lock isn't valid, I'd much rather fail and have the alarm blaring because I am less skilled rather than an RNG chance of getting pulled up on. As for the risk, every officer knows the instant they scan your plate it is a stolen car, there is no way around it, so driving it to your place is a massive risk.
  12. @Ranger Car Wash has been implemented
  13. That is the mechanic I am talking about. For NPC cars it's slow regardless of the class of the vehicle from what I did over the past month or so. I couldn't remember if it was 50-45, but it's 45 for every class of vehicle from a shitty utility van to a jugular, etc. Unless I just can't tell the speed difference, it all seems the same for me. I know the player owned cars are harder to break in to, they also give pennies on the dollar compared to chopping NPC cars

    Gun update.

@Ranger This can probably be archived
  15. @Ranger This has been fixed with the removal of most NCZs
  16. @Ranger If you chug a lot of drinks you are drunk for ages, and chugging food and water does make it go down IIRC
  17. @Ranger I believe this has been sorta fixed with the NCZ's being taken away from a lot of places
  18. Puzzling

    .

    @Ranger just not a suggestion
