  2. Discord is the best and only route that will tease development updates before they are fully released. If you would like to get better access to those, then join the discord. The forum threads are meant to only show updates that have been pushed out, not teasing future updates. That is one of the perks of being in the discord.
  3. Hello, due to Rockstar changing/modifying handling files on the LS Tuner Update vehicles (i.e speed boosts from lowered stance and grip with low grip tires), some cars will perform differently as they did before. This was taken from a reliable source of news and updates on GTA5/GTA5: Online: (https://www.gtabase.com/) You can read all of the recent patch notes on Rockstar's support site. https://support.rockstargames.com/articles/4412795582227/GTAV-Title-Update-1-55-Notes-PS4-Xbox-One-PC As this is a Rockstar sided change and not a server related bug, this report is now locked and archived. - Ranger
  4. As it is realistic, it is also a game, and games require balancing. Just as a rough idea, I believe the lock on should have a soft lock, so that it is not overpowered in terms of a constant lock where it would be hard locked on, not allowing a vehicle to get away unless it goes under a bridge where visual is lost, but maybe only allow a hard/soft lock for a specific duration in a cooldown style. Other than that, massive +1
  5. +1 Could be a cool opportunity to add another animation timer to an action as it is used/done by a large majority of the player base. Would be a nice QOL addition to the upcoming drug update that was teased.
  6. +1 if it's possible, if the time script it possible i dont know why weather wouldnt be possible in some extent. Maybe just making it weather type 'clear' with /setweather clear just to get rid of rain or snow.

    Burnout Nation

After owning The Lot for about a year, and running events outside time and time again, the Burnouts finally decided that it was time to dedicate to getting the interior setup, as they felt that they were mentally and financially ready to begin construction. Asbo got in touch with a surprising builder; Yuki Nakamura. Asbo had told Don and the others about it and they were ecstatic to hear about it. Yuki showed them the plans for the club, and the Burnouts loved it. After about 2 weeks of building, she let Asbo know that it was done and the burnouts were very happy to see that it was finally done. After showing a couple close friends and members of Burnout, they are excited to open it and are planning on keeping the design private to the general public until it is open. (A teaser of the Club's design) Asbo and Don decided to begin working on the Pub and the General’s Room in the back, and got to work putting their creative minds together; Asbo was the brains behind the Pub build, and Don was the brains of the General’s Room build. (Asbo and Don at the Furniture store purchasing items for the pub) Don got to work on the General’s Room and Asbo got to work on the pub, which is when Hanzo Devil came around and began to assist them in building and helping with materials. After Hanzo went to sleep, they called it for the day. The next day Sanjay was around and helped Don with the General’s Room and it’s final touches. After a long 2 days of construction in the General’s Room, it was done. Once the General’s Room was done, Don helped Asbo finish off the Pub, and Eddie White even came around to hang out and help where he could as Asbo and Don put on the final touches. (Asbo planning booth locations, as Eddie and Don provide moral support) Now with the Club, the Pub, and the General’s Room being complete, the last piece of work to be started on is the Burnout Lounge.

    Burnout Nation

October came and so did the pink. Last year Burnout Nation changed their colors from white to pink and they hosted a car meet and showed off their pink colors and allowed an outlet for other citizens of San Andreas to do the same. This year, they decided to spread the awareness by partnering with Los Santos Customs to offer a discount to everyone that painted their cars pink. Don spoke with James Allen, a member of Burnout Nation and a Manager at LSC closely to get the deal perfected. As the time arrived, the Burnouts rallied at LSC and began running their ads promoting the deal. As the ads ran, more and more people showed up. Don, Asbo, Hazel, Hanzo, Jamie, Josh, and Liam stood at the ledge with the mechanics, letting them know about the deal. As a paint job was ordered, the mechanics let Don know and he paid out the customer to fulfill the promise of the paint job being pink for the cause. After each person got a paint job, Don and a couple others snapped pictures of them for the collage of pink cars. After the promotion ended, Don got to work, and created the collage.

Don, Asbo, and Eddie were around, and saw that an ad from their friends The Amarillo Aces was put up and they were hosting a drag race event. All 3 of them got into their cars, and headed to the event. After getting there, they lined up and waited for their turn to race. Asbo won every race and was even paid a small prize from Brody King himself for being undefeated in both of their drag race events they've hosted. After that, they decided to head down to the Pearls restaurant at the pier and grab a bite to eat, and make it to the public grand opening. Eddie had gone to sleep, so Asbo and Don entered and noticed two good friends of theirs and the club; Jon Purminelli and Larry Wrozeck sitting at another table. They sat down with them and enjoyed some fine food and chatted a bit about how they've all been, and generally caught up with each other. After Purm headed back to his apartment, the rest of the 3 stayed and awaited some gourmet hotdogs. Don tasted the hotdog, and the perfectly soggy buns and called the chefs out. He raised the tensions and asked the chefs "Do you see anything wrong with this?" putting them in a tough spot. The chef that cooked his hotdog nervously said "Uhmm, no?" which is when Don agreed with him, and told him "You're right. It's perfect." the chef was relieved that he had not ruined a customer's meal, and the rest of the staff congratulated him in his efforts for the night. After that, Larry, Don, and Asbo went to Purm's house, unparked his boat, and went on a small boat ride to wrap up the evening. After the long night ended and everyone went to sleep, Don sat at the lot formulating ideas for events and was mentally preparing himself for the next day.

Don woke up and got into his car and his first thought was “What to do, what to do.” He was thinking of an idea for an event idea for the Burnouts to do, and he remembered an event that he attended years ago in Liberty City, where they had a Barbeque, but involved all of their cars as a part of it. Don texted Asbo and asked if he would be willing to cook, which is when Asbo spoke to a good friend of his, Larry. Larry loved the idea, and began hunting to gather some food for his own restaurant, The Sandbar, and decided to spare some meat for the Burnout Car-B-Que. After hunting for a couple of hours, Larry gave Asbo all the fresh meat that he would need to sustain everyone’s hunger at the barbeque. Asbo and Don had gone to the big orange ball food stand earlier in the day and got the grill and all the necessary grilling tools prepared for the Car-B-Que. Once the time got closer, Don got all of the burnouts together at The Lot, and they cruised up to the location for the Car-B-Que. Everyone got situated, and Don parked his truck with the cooler in the back with all the food in it. Asbo got straight to grilling the food and put a speaker down to keep everyone occupied as they waited. (Members dancing to some music while waiting for the food to be cooked) As the smell of the food filled the air, everyone thought to themselves “how does Asbo do it? It’s like he was trained by one of the greats!” After Asbo finished up a majority of the food, he exclaimed to everyone that it was done, and people began coming to the grill with an empty stomach, and a nose full of magnificent scents of all of the food that was prepared. After being served their food, they all ate and continued to dance for a bit longer before Asbo cleaned up and began to join in on the food eating. Once everyone finished eating, Don decided to go on a cruise with everyone. They were all up for it, and their first stop was Wanted Reup to get some gas, then they drove around for a bit and took a pit stop to get some water and some snacks for the ride. As they entered the shop they had the idea to look at the CCTV cameras and wave at it in hopes that an officer would switch to it and see their tom foolery. After getting snacks and drinks, their final stop was Los Santos Customs where they ended up getting repairs. (Alex showing some members how to read a map of a mountain) (Members waving at the CCTV cameras) (Members getting gas at Wanted Reup gas station) (Hazel standing on Don's car at LSC as some members socialized with some mechanics)

The burnouts all gathered together to go to a couple events ran by a good friend of the club Brody King, and his car club The Amarillo Aces. Don showed up a bit late, but he was able to make it in time to watch a majority of the races and hangout with Liam, Hanzo, Sanjay, Josh, and Asbo. Soon towards the end of the event, Giovanni rolled up and joined the Burnouts in their evening activities. Soon after the drag racing event ended, the Burnouts helped Asbo move a few cars out of a home he was going to sell to Colt Daniels. As they were heading to the house, they noticed an advertisement for a pop up Drift Meet and Car Meet hosted by Los Santos Drift. After they had parked their cars, they drove to the Drifting Arena and hungout with some old friends, and even met some new faces while having a good time and listening to some good music.

  18. Ranger's Super Epic Idea! [Rework] Prison Times - Speed up active in-game prisoner activity, when offline prison time is real time. Set it at a minimum of 5 hours. Some people may hop on eclipse for a couple hours after work, when in game the time is cut or just for however much time they may have to dedicate to gaming, so if people cant dedicate time to spend in game at prison for an extended amount of time, they can opt to spend that time offline, with the time being longer and/or the full 5 hour sentence(+) that they were given. It still holds the "punishing" effect for an IC consequence, and they can choose to spend that time in game Roleplaying, or spend longer out of game not playing at all, or developing more of a story on another character. Pros: - More motivation to spend time RPing in prison - Better fit for some of the people who cant afford to spend 5+ hours in a prison instead of roleplaying (As we all know, prison RP can be hit or miss). - People still hold the punishment for committing crimes, and at the same time get a minor reward for staying in game to roleplay with the sped up time. Cons: - People may not be as 'afraid' to go to prison as they can spend time offline rather than play the game (although they don't need to play, its still a decent punishment to not be able to play the character you would like to for 5 hours!) (Its a very controversial topic that prison times are too long, or in some cases people think they are too short. I ask that we don't divulge into that conversation as its not healthy for what the suggestion is, so stay clear of that please. Leave it to a downvote or an upvote.) Another idea I have is more of a rule suggestion, so it will be posted in the correct section. You can view it and leave comments/feedback HERE.
  19. [Rework] Player theft Rules Rework [Player Theft, Kidnapping] - Allow players to commit crimes in 'public' from XX:XXpm to XX:XXam [ex./ 9pm-8am] with valid reason. I think a lot of people can agree that the original change has done a bit of 'damage' to the criminal side of life, as it cuts down the ability to rob people for their goods, and on top of wanting to rob people just for their items, robbing/kidnapping people for RP reason [ex./ Robbing/Kidnapping someone for leaving a gang, robbing/kidnapping someone for doing you wrong, Kidnapping someone for an initiation, etc]. With this change, it will allow players to commit crimes in 'somewhat public' areas AT NIGHT where IRL most crimes are committed on the 'nightly'(daily) level, and brings back the aspect that most criminals want, where robberies can happen more often. Pros: - Increases activities for criminals/PD - It possibly will add more immersion. Most players will walk around/wonder freely at night, while in some places you should be somewhat afraid of being there, as you can get ran up on or robbed. - As long as the rule is followed and players hold valid RP reason, there should be no issues with the rule being questionable/hard to enforce. Cons: - There is a chance that players may get robbed more at a higher rate, but that's where more RP comes into play for PD/SD/DOC - May or may not prove to be difficult to track when something happens using in game time in reports. (This is a modification, not a revert/removal. As this may be a somewhat controversial topic, please leave comments to be constructive and/or left to a simple +1/-1. Any Pros/Cons are fine, just keep it civil is all I ask.)

    Burnout Nation

It’s been a year since Burnout was formed. Don had the idea to go on a cruise, not just a normal cruise, but a cruise that brings back good memories. The idea was to cruise around to old spots that the Burnouts went on the day that they officially went public as a group. During their meeting, he informed all of the Burnouts about it after talking about the Summer Showdown Car Show, and everyone was ready for it. Don began to send texts for everyone to meet up, and they all met up at The Lot and hung out for a little bit before leaving. After goofing around for a little bit, Don rallied the Burnouts and let them know the plan for the night. “We’re going on a cruise to different spots that we visited a year ago today, so let’s get to our cars and head out!”. The Burnouts followed, and everyone got into their cars and they began to cruise around from location to location. As the Burnouts traveled around the state and stopped at numerous locations, they took pictures in a few notable spots of when Burnout went on their first cruise together as an established club. The First Location: The Vinewood Bowl - A nice area that Burnout decided to go, and where a few new members met the founders and existing members on their first cruise a year ago. The Second Location: The Pond - the place where burnout was talked about even more as the founding members got serious and developed what it is today. Burnout would sit at the pond day after day when the members weren’t out or at their jobs just hanging out. Members of Burnout still say that they are responsible for making The Pond a popular fishing spot for the time that it was. The Third Location: Purm’s Pumps V2 - This is where Burnout hosted a club favorite game, hide n’ seek. Burnout would play this game numerous times, and from time to time invite other groups to come to join in and enjoy the fun and games with the club. The Fourth Location: The Pier - As this wasn’t the most popular location, it was one of the first locations Burnout went to on their first cruise, to try and give themselves some exposure in the city. But also, it was a notable location for one member in particular; Gary Taylor. Gary is one of the longest-lasting members from the original recruitment that Burnout did as they established themselves. He was recommended to join by Don, and since that day on the Pier, he has been with Burnout for over a year. Gary wasn’t so sure about Burnout at first, as he was focusing heavily on LSPD, and was recently reinstated at the time, but he found himself to enjoy the club deeply. The Final Location: Observatory - This is where Burnout took their first pictures of the club as it began. The first picture was exclusively Founders, but Burnout is at the point that its more than just the founders. Burnout is proud to have been up for over a year, and there are no plans to stop any time soon. We’ve laughed together, we’ve cried together, but together we stand as a family. As the Burnouts drove around from location to location, they joked around about events that happened a year ago on that day and talked about how much the other founding members and old members were missed, and how much they wished that they would have been there that day to see what the club became. The End Side note: Asbo said it all pretty much in the post he made, but all of the founding members of Burnout are very happy that Burnout has gotten to where it is today, and how proud we are of the mini-community we built inside of ECRP. We are excited to bring more car shows and car culture-related RP to the community. Thanks for the read! I’m a bit late with this post
