    Burnout Nation

Written by: @Boonga The Burnouts had recently gotten more serious since the licensing for Club Insignia was approved, and decided to start hosting events. Don brought up the idea of a car show at a meeting, and the rest of the Burnouts seemed to get very excited to see where this will go. Don let everyone know that he can handle emailing someone higher up in the LSPD, and could speak to a government official about setting it up, luckily his boss at Bayview, Tyrone Cox works at city hall as well as Bayview... The burnouts in the past have scouted an ideal new location to hangout, and once they planned to do a car show, realized that they could use “The Lot” as a perfect spot to host it. Don talked to Tyrone about the car show, and he liked the idea. Hazel made sure that our licensing was valid for the Burnouts to host an event like this. He then showed Tyrone the location, and Tyrone himself even thought it was a pretty nice area. The Burnouts had a busy night planned on the night of the show. From 7:00pm-9:00pm they had to open their club, Club Insignia to help DCC host a going away party for one of their employees, from 9:00pm-9:30pm they decided to support the Irish and show up at the Steamboat, to in a way celebrate a successful club night, then from 10:00pm-12:00 pm they had to host the car show.. A busy night indeed.. The burnouts all met up at “The Lot” after enjoying some drinks and socialization at the Steamboat, and got things sorted and prepared to get the show going. Ads were running, people started showing up, and cars started rolling in. The Car Show was running smooth, Nathan bought a limousine to act as a gate, and cars were beginning to fill the lot. Most of the Burnouts spent their time socializing with friends of theirs, and meeting new people at the event as well. As the show went on, a few more contestants showed up to try and win the cash prize, and a good amount of people decided to put up some speakers and vibe on top of the ramp where the contestants were parked. As the show went on, there were a few unique vehicles that came as well. A couple people brought a Space Docker, which a few people were interested in looking at. Soon, the Judging would begin... Don and Jamie decided to make the announcement that judging would begin! It was almost like a storm of emotion, everyone in the crowd of contestants, and general entrees got excited to hear that the cars would be getting judged soon and began to start pointing out positive things about everyone’s cars, trying to sway the judges' decisions… Jamie and Don have judged a majority of the cars, and were finally making their way through the final cars. Jamie and Don decided that the orange Thrax, and the blue hot rod Hustler were the two favorites of theirs, and after a short conversation about the two cars, they chose the Hustler as the Judges pick. After that, Don announced that the crowd pick would begin, so people began to stand next to their favorite cars. After about 5 minutes, the voting ended, and Dwayne Smith was declared the winner of the crowd choice with his Orange Thrax, followed by the announcement of Stefan Ognjenovic winning the judges pick with his Blue Hustler. After people started leaving, Don went to the bank and gave the two winners their prizes, and asked if they would be willing to come back to The Lot for a picture. Stefan agreed, but Dwayne was too busy to take a picture, so Don and Stefan headed back to The Lot and took some pictures for Lifeinvader. The End
  2. Massive +1 I hated showing up to a call with a tow truck that says "need a repair" and it ended up being a stalled bike, then have to go back to the shop to grab a flatbed (rest in pepperoni) and go all the way back. I wish there was more of a guideline on what is expected to be described per situation. Or even make a system like the taxi app, where someone requests a vehicle based on what they need.

Thank you to everyone for the support and kind words on our thread! Much Love from us to you all! We wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for all the support you guys have given us, IC or OOC.
  4. Good luck guys! Sick to see more people are getting interested in starting car related groups, to help the culture grow in the city.

    Treasury Logs

Fat +1!!! This would/could also help remove the need for a spreadsheet to manage money in & out of the treasury. Plus, I'm sure there could be a way to work this out in the same fashion as the bank information menu, so that instead of RPing opening a spreadsheet, then tabbing out of the game, you can access it in an in-game menu or on a computer that is tied to your faction... This would really help smaller and bigger factions and even smaller organizations in keeping track of donations, payments, etc, ICly and easier.

    Burnout Nation

Los Santos can be a toxic city at the best of times, and the negativity begins to seep into people's hearts and minds. One day whilst fishing, a group of friends decided it was time that someone tried to make some kind of change. The main aim of Burnout Nation is to bring positivity and a friendly atmosphere to any location they drive. Formed as a car club, the cars are secondary to the atmosphere and feeling of family the nation prides itself on. With no prior history the nation's model is based on the usual car club hierarchy and some original ideas implemented by the founders of Burnout Nation. Currently we are still a fresh legal club, and are looking to get our name out there so people in the city begin to recognize our colours, outfits and our name begins to be heard in conversation between people who don’t know us personally. We aren’t a gang, or a racing club, we plan on running car meets, and legal race events only. Absolutely no illegal activity of any kind is welcomed within the club. We aim to spread our name across Los Santos and make people aware of our existence and to have people know us as some of the best people Los Santos has to offer through BLS treatment for random injured civilians to giving people rides if they’re stuck on the side of the highway. We aim to purchase a property that will serve as a HQ and Nightclub for events and business revenue. We aim to increase the treasury to at least 1 million after the purchase of said HQ and nightclub to be able to start a side business purchasing and modifying cars to flip for a small profit at reasonable prices to customers around the city. We aim to make connections with higher ups in the various gangs and maintain good relations to keep our members safe from any civilian robberies. We aim to recruit a few more members to broaden our capabilities in both hosting events and running a business as well as cruising and presenting ourselves to the citizens of Los Santos (Extended Goal: Reach 30 members to sufficiently fill divisions) To purchase a garage that club members can use to unwind and work on their vehicles (or friends of the club's vehicles) without having to wait in queues at shops every time a minor fix is needed. Ideally the abandoned garage site formerly ran and operated as Benny's Motorworks as the paintjob fits the aesthetic of Burnout Nation's colors. 20,000 Minimum XP, but those with lower are welcome to hang around Must have no admin punishments within the last 30 days however severity of punishment may be assessed internally Must have a good understanding of server rules and drive in a realistic manner, understanding the servers road laws Must be over 18 however maturity will be assessed internally and exceptions may be made Must be willing to commit time to the faction, inactivity without due communication can result in removal from the faction
  8. Date and time (provide timezone): 7/14/2020 9:45am EST Character name: Don Mozzarella Issue/bug you are reporting: There is a bug with vehicles and /modview, where if you log off, or park it then unpark it, it loses some visual modifications, and turbo performance modification, until you go to a mechanic shop, and enter /modview (Examples Below). Expected behavior: Entering my car(s) without driving to a shop to have turbo work and visual customizations show. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Evidence #1: Before/After entering "/modview" (Visual Customizations): https://imgur.com/a/enDynqY Evidence #2: Before/After entering "/modview" (Turbo/Visual) [Revving to hear turbo sound]: https://streamable.com/nnapmu Side Note: After /modview was fixed about a month ago after the issues it was having (some mods not showing, then fixed, then turbo and window tint was missing), it began to do this. It seems to be an issue with the vehicle mod not actually being applied, until /modview it entered. It's also client sided, so if I let someone drive my car, they will not have turbo when they drive, or see the visual customizations on the car, until they enter /modview aswell. Replication: Log off and back in, or park the car and unpark it, your turbo/visual mods are gone and you need to enter /modview to have turbo applied, or to see specific visual mods.
  9. Did the list get removed? It says i dont have access to it
  10. There should be a storage system put in place in all PD/SD offices/stations where people can get their belongings back when they are released. It's kinda scuffed that you need to wait for the arresting officer to come back/be online still to get your things back. How would this work? It could work with a storage container like a safe or a counter and have a Code lock on it so only the prisoner who's belongings are in it can open it with a pre-designated "inmate locker code". How could it benefit the community? When someone gets locked up for something in Jail in one of the PD/SD Offices, there might be a chance that the arresting officer that would have taken their belongings logged off or is on another call. It is a big hassle to have to wait for 10+ minutes for the person to come back if they are still on, and a bigger one if they aren't on anymore and they didn't put your stuff anywhere or give it to anyone, to the point where you might have to wait a FULL DAY to get some stuff back, or even WASTE MONEY to get it back.

I'm not sure if it's just me or if this has happened to other people with different cars. It happened to me earlier (would say around 10:00AM EST) in my Towtruck.
