  1. +1 Teamspeak is overly confusing for no reason. No need to use such a tryhard platform when discord is just so much more user friendly.
  2. Huge +1 Love the idea of a stock market as well. There's a good few registered businesses on the server, and selling shares could be an interesting way for them to raise funds and for citizens to have some RP
  3. This can be archived, I managed to fix it. The solution was to unplug my ethernet cable and leave it unplugged for over 15 minutes and turn off PC. It worked when I came back after a while and plugged the ethernet back in
  4. Issue Being Reported: Social club will not connect, will only launch in offline mode (can't even login then), cannot therefore use RageMP Date and Time of Issue (provide timezone): 09/01/2021, 10:26 Your characters name: Jake_North Other player(s) involved: N/A Evidence and/or notes worth mentioning: Launching GTA V from steam, RageMP or Rockstar Games Launcher shows this screen: This lasts for a good few minutes until eventually it stops and shows this: Here are the multiple fixes I've tried so far: Using a VPN. This does technically work, it allows me to log into my Rockstar social club account and play Gta V, although Im not able to play Eclipse using a VPN for obvious reasons (brings up the ban screen of some previously banned player that isn't me). For reference, I used Nord VPN Reinstalled Rockstar Games Launcher and Social Club. Did this multiple times, it never worked. Deleted the 'social club' folder in [user/documents/Rockstar Games] and restarted Rockstar Games Launcher. Did this countless times, it did not work. Restarted pc. Also did this multiple times, never worked. Unplugged ethernet cable. Did this two times, never worked. Changed DNS address. This was a fix suggested a few times from my google searches, and people often recommended using Google DNS. I did this a few times, but alas it also didn't work ipconfig /flushdns. Didn't work. There was one other common suggestion I found online, and that was to reset my router. I cannot do this because I live in shared student halls, meaning I do not have access to the router. The easiest fix would be for the VPN to be allowed on Eclipse, although I understand why it is not. Any help is appreciated
  5. +1 Getting plastic surgery should also erase the aliases that people have for you

  8. Date and time (provide timezone): 04/01/21, 3:50 UTC Character name: Jake_North Issue/bug you are reporting: Character equips wrong torso model when putting on gloves Expected behavior: The torso model should remain the same and continue to not clip through the player's shirt Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: May only be applicable to a combination of 'Black Tucked Shirt' and 'Long Black Gloves'. To replicate, equip clothing items seen in screenshots, then equip 'Long Black Gloves'. No gloves: Gloves equipped:

  9. This is a great idea, although Im not sure it belongs in suggestions. With enough creativity and planning, this could easily be a legal player faction! I won't give too many hints, but you could register a business on the Eclipse gov website, and organise poker tournaments at the poker table in Sandy Shores (I forget the name, but it's usually empty). Weazel news ads could be purchased, prompting poker fans to join the texting service and stay notified of upcoming tournaments. Let your imagination run wild! Personally I think this would be a great bit of fun and player-made RP.

  14. Good luck!
  15. +1 Amazing idea!
  16. I happen to agree, I always found it annoying when you get injured for some reason or another whilst driving and then you can't radio for your allies to get you. I think that radioing whilst injured should be brought back, and that players should apply the same sense of realism that they're expected to in regards to using proximity chat whilst injured
  17. -1, basically what the guy above said. Forcing /low would not be suitable for all injures, such as broken legs or in times where someone gets injured due to bugged fall damage. It's really not hard to follow the rules, people just need to act realistically in every situation
  18. Clear NonRP, but all you'll get told is "Thats IC", or "file an IA report". Shame it still happens.
  19. -1 I think the previous addition to the Explicit RP rule is as far as it should go, any further and it'd just be policing speech at that point. If a streamer sees content that may violate Twitch TOS, they can politely ask in /b for them to switch up their RP slightly, and I'd agree that the right thing to do would be to respect their wishes, although forbidding certains terms outright is excessive. Aint no one tryna catch a ban for saying retard in a roleplay server. This isn't TikTok, we don't cancel folk for saying naughty words.
  20. Huge +1 The current limitations on AltRP kinda discourage quality RP, and allowing more interesting player-created scenarios would certainly bring more RP to a server currently infested with PvP mentalities.
