  1. Server will not be the same without Triads, the influence the faction had will define ecrp history for years to come. Dark day for ECRP. #CRIMRP2020 #FreeTheBoys

    "Ocean Life"

+1 I like the idea of having different species of fish. Perhaps the standard fish, the cheapest, could be caught right at the shore (at the beach, off the pier etc), whereas the more expensive fish are further out into the ocean and in specific areas, promoting some exploration and communication between fisherman to discover.
  3. +1, cops should be able to lose their things, and doing so should subsequently affect their record as a cop. This would perhaps make cops value their lives more and not bumrush into every situation like they do now
  4. +1 I agree with this sentiment. Past contributions and dedication to providing good RP to players should be considered in such matters.
  5. One of my best RP experiences I've had in ECRP was meeting Chatterbox! Sad to see you go Apologies for the constant tabbing out lol
  6. Realistically no one wants to get chased by cops, that's never our goal. That point is kinda redundant. If you think that doing our jobs as criminal roleplayers is "provoking cops" then idk what to say. Just bcoe one set of barricades were removed, doesnt mean that the others can't also be removed. Realistically, the 811 wouldve gone right through those blue barricades, and dedication to realism would have therefore invalidated their use in that situation.
  7. You don't think it says something when so many crim players are collectively expressing dissatisfaction with how they are being treat on the server? Damn bro, enjoy writing parking tickets all day when there are no more crim players left. As Mike said, your memeing isnt adding anything to the discussion and really just proves your ignorance. Only stating my opinion tho bro, pls dont swat me like always threaten to do!
  8. Yeah and I took the L. We all know very well that thats something you do not know to do.
  9. This has happened numerous times before, especially when bank heists were popular It'll most likely get archived anyway, all similar threads do
  10. Crims often DO stop the car and give up, whether it's PD or enemy criminals, because one thing we know is how to take an L. Here's a clip of crims realising their luck has run out and what do you know? We took the L. Notice how we didn't start malding and abusing bugs/doing NonRP actions simply to win! https://streamable.com/yo24l It's honestly pointless arguing with any of you because you all refuse to see the clear bias and advantage that you have. Its fine doe, keep going and maybe soon there won't be any crims left on the server for you to catch!
  11. +1 in regards to criminals robbing enemy criminals. The motive is quite clear when robbing an enemy, even if doing so for one .50, the scarcity of contraband in the server and the possibility of getting a frequency is reward enough, and certainly warrants the risk. Our Los Santos is a police state now, where cops are simply allowed to do what they want (ICly and OOCly it seems) and charge as they please, therefore robbing someone out in the open has plenty of IC risks that don't need to be backed up with the fear of receiving a NonRP punishment for the a robbery. Despite this, I don't think the rules should be rolled back entirely, because I do agree that they have brought some welcome changes. For instance, protecting civilian roleplayers against unwarranted and unrealistic robberies is a good thing, and no it doesn't make sense to perform a robbery in a clothing store with 10 rifle-carrying criminals. Regardless, criminal conflicts are now being fought on the forums. Is this the fault of the robbery rules or the fact that the players on ecrp seem to hate each other? I believe it's both. The rules were intended to encourage roleplay, but instead they encourage ruleplay, where every situation turns into a report, and everyone is out to get their fellow player banned. Additionally, the points raised by @Copperhorse in his thread should be addressed. Edit: was referring to this post: I agree with the points made by @Gyromite for the most part. TL;DR 1). Roll back robbery rules, but not completely 2). Gang beef and intel gathering should be seen as enough justification for crim v crim robberies 3). Civs should be protected more than crims by robbery rules 4). Places like gas stations and clothing stores should still be protected by robbery rules 5). y'all toxic I don't want the server to be a PvP server in any way, but so many criminals are losing interest or getting banned for petty things, it's becoming a joke now. It's not Eclipse without crim roleplayers, and if they all leave, what are we left with? #FreeTheBoys
  12. +1 Trying a cars lock actually consists of you grabbing the handle, not just walking past it inconspicuously
  13. Don't expect anything to change in regards to how poorly PD conduct themselves
  14. With it still being a video game, you have to expect that a criminal character will spend their time doing criminal activities. There only so much recreational rp one can do before returning to criminal activities, because that's where the majority of their rp, income and politics comes from. They work hard for cash, and the reward is having vehicles that can out perform PD and enemies, so I believe it makes perfect sense for them to be able to use them vehicles in criminal activities. It would only really make sense to downgrade if you were doing some undercover or covert rp
  15. 1). I agree that crims using multi-million dollar vehicles for petty crimes can be unrealistic. In one of my reports, the reported parties got warnings for conducting a pointless and fruitless robbery in 20mil cars. 2). Crims have those vehicles because of the money they make. PD has a budget they have to adhere to, and buying supercars for the force is unrealistic. PD should not have drags and supercars

    Notorious

Thread looking clean, best of luck.
  18. I've seen it too often from officers. Cops that NEVER search vehicles will suddenly decide to do one on a regular traffic stop when they see a /ame. I've seen it from within SD, and was given shit on Teamspeak for calling our a senior deputy for doing it.
  19. Cop metagames a /ame and doesnt get punished for it, instead the reporter is branded as 'extremely petty' by the handling admin. This is what I mean, cops NEED to be held to the same RP standards as everyone else, it's shocking how much shit they get away with
  20. +1 The vast majority of cops on this server have some weird superiority complex where they have to win every situation, usually through unrealistic means, and love throwing crim characters in jail for the maximum amount of time possible (charge stacking, slapping the book). You know it's bad when you see cop characters bragging via discord that they regularly put people away for 15 ooc hours, which is nothing short of toxic and should be addressed (although we all know it won't); I won't name names. Why is it that cops will engage in lethal forrce 90% of the time, yet there's nothing 'lethal' about it when PD/SD/MD simply powergame and stabilise your health with little to no rp, just so they can secure that arrested and throw you in a virtual jail cell for 10 hours of your life. Cops don't excercise tactics, common sense or realism on Eclipse, that's simply the fact of the matter. There's too much evidence and feedback from the community for the issue to be ignored or put down now. Cops should definitely be held to much higher standards IC and OOC, and staff should begin issuing punishments for breaches rather that saying 'Its IC' or 'file and IA report'. So many crims get warnings, punishments and bans for incidents that would be brushed off as being IC if it was done by a cop. #FreeTheBoys
