So IRL the MDC has whats called an Aircard. It allows the Laptop to connect to mobile networks anywhere and runs off the FIRST network in most agencies. But IRL most agencies allow their workers to take their vehicles home with them, meaning the have access to their MDC. While it would make sense to be able to access MDC from anywhere, placing charges would not be realistic IMO. Access, yes, but charges, no. Would be nice to be able to take home my cruiser tho...

-1 Even though I am PD and I get where you are coming from I do not see this as working. While yes you would still have the login and password there are regulations in place (IRL) preventing you from doing stuff like that off-duty. Yes you do still have access to it for things like filing reports and things of that nature, but off-duty police cannot place charges, they can only detain. An example. I have the login and password to my States EOC for use during state emergencies. I also have the login and password to many US Government systems I need for work. But I cannot access them when I am at home, as there are regulations preventing me from doing so. Can I login from my house? Ya I can for most things, but there are regulations in place preventing me.

This is a major -1 for me and I am sure quite a few other people. The risk versus reward for a criminal is just that, a risk. You should not be building a criminal just because you want to make a ton of money. Thats not what it is for. Going around robbing pennies and gps from people should be just that, minimal risk, minimal reward. Importing and selling guns? Much higher risk, much higher reward. If Illegal jobs paid more everyone would be a criminal and we go back to Cops VS Robbers. If thats what you want? Find another server. Yes legal jobs make decent money. Its not amazing cash (I don't know why people think legal workers make buttloads of money). I've worked a legal job for 2 months(IRL months). Putting in an average of about 21 hours. I just barely hit my first million and I have literally saved every penny I have made. I did NOT come on this server to grind money. My characters backstory is not that I am the son of a Nigerian King, I rp as a normal, middle class guy who wants to just live and make friends. If you came on this server to be rich? Find another server. This server and the way it is currently set up is an attempt to ensure equal RP among the community, Criminals, Civilians, and Police. Yes sometimes it is unfair, yes I get it. But move on. Last night the Police couldn't make an arrest on 1 person because they were surrounded by 45+ Gang members, all sporting heavies. Police are outnumbered 4-1 in this instance and only some of them carry Shotguns, SMGs, or Carbines. So heavily outgunned as well. Did any of them come on the complain about how unfair that was? No, they moved on and went right back to patrol. TL;DR Server will never be perfectly balanced. But its close. All 3 areas has their pros and cons, pick your side carefully and don't let it hamper your RP. You're here to live a life, not grind for cash.

+1, I spend my entire time towing vehicles at bank with no tickets, because theyre so expensive. I am also checking every vehicle for said tickets and in 2 months I have yet to find one that wasn't expired. Affordable parking would be nice and people might actually end up using it.

I don't think this would actually be a good idea. Many people already take exception to the "No mask in public" law even tho it is a realistic law. This would just add one more thing for trolls to B&M about/ copbait.

Theres a whole bevy of illegal car mods. But it depends on the state you live in. Since San Andreas is loosely based on California a good portion of the current "Legal" mods would actually be illegal. California performs safety and emissions inspections. To this end most mods you can do in other states are not able to be performed. However, there are some you can still do legally. CARB certified air filters and intakes and, if memory serves, a handful of cars that can receive CARB turbos, high flow cats, ethanol fuel are just to name some of the few "legal" mods. In game the turbos would cause a vehicle to fail emissions testings, Straight pipes, engine swaps, certain exhaust exit placements are all illegal. In terms of general, or illegal roughly everywhere, Nitrous Oxide Injection and Methanol Injection are both classified as Illegal. While yes many people have NO2 in their vehicles the bottle needs to be turned off, and in some states completely disconnected from the system. Things like ride height as well can make a vehicle illegal, race fuel or additives like C16. Even tire choice can be illegal. Drag radials are partially legal. Illegal in some states while legal in others, and slicks as well.

+1. Most of the time I go to work on a car I have to make a decision. Is this guy legitimately borrowing this car or is it stolen? Most of the time the owner of the vehicle has to make their way to the vehicle just to have it repaired, causing a massive time sink for everyone.

Once the second portion has been reviewed you should receive and email to your registered email. However, sometimes it does not send so best bet is to check every now and again by logging into the game. You will either be able to log into the server and play or it will tell you what portion of your quiz was incorrect.

The quiz is 2 part. the first part is an instant pass or fail. The second part, in the form of essays are required to be read by the quiz team to determine eligibility. I am not sure of the length of queue at the moment but it can take several days to a week to be reviewed.

Ok so say like a week ago I had to log off right outside LSC as I had gotten a phone call from my sons school that he had fallen and dislocated his arm. But you know. the important thing is ensuring that I drive the 15 minutes to my house at the speed limit, because RP, and only then rush to my sons school and take him to the hospital. My apologies for ruining your immersion.

I cannot say specifically if this would fix your issue but changing the PCIe slot will help you figure it out or not

I had this issue with a brand new 1070 and it took me months to finally figure it out. Bad PCIe cable. Had my card vertically mounted and the cable was bad causing flickering. direct mounted to MB and havent had an issue since.

While this fact may be true it isn't 1 in 2 people IRL that are in a gang. I can literally count on none of my hand the times I have been robbed, mugged, seen a robbery or mugging or someone kidnapped or killed by a criminal IRL. Its probably because that number is 0. However in the 3 months I have been here I have seen more people killed that I saw killed in Afghanistan IRL or in my 3000 hrs on Arma 3. This server has become 80% cops and robbers and the few of us who try to keep with a civilian roleplay keep ending up in the middle of it. However, I do not think the addition of more NCZs is the way to fix it. There has to be another way to accomplish it and the admins/mods are already overtaxed with IG reports constantly cropping up.

Have you tried to delete your server resource files at RAGEMP > Client Resources > 51.91.116.98_22005. It will force Rage to redownload server files and possibly fix your issue. Also unlike FiveM you can load RageMP as admin.

As far as timeline I am not sure what the current status is but you will either receive an email or if you notice it says that there are no apps pending just log in to the server and it will either let you play or tell you reason for denial.

I appreciate it! I am waiting on word back from the Government on the feasibility of this. I will do my best to keep everyone updated, especially on the first hiring drive.

I've been around alot of servers since my last heavy rp community a few years back. I think I've only been on 1 CK server. I do agree with an increase in jail and fines IF its needed as a deterrent to avoid this becoming a cops and robber server. While, yes, there is alot of crime compared to server pop, again. I have seen much worse servers. If you are just here to shoot cops all day and get killed, I'd recommend going to a DOJ server. On the flip side there still is a massive amount of civ RP to be had. Come hang out at one of the marked locations and you'll find plenty of it. And even funnier crim rp as well with people who are in crim for the storyline and not to get rich and kill cops all day.
