  1. Hey so speaking from a Recruitment Officer standpoint, you application drew several red flags, as outlined in the feedback provided by the Officer who responded to your posting. The time limit is there to prevent people from spam posting applications. As the feedback provided would require a major rewrite of nearly every written section, it was decided to deny your application. As it is LSPD policy, you will be required to wait a minimum of 7 days, due to these errors, again outlined, in your application. The LSPD hires only those that can show that they, OOCly and ICly, can perform and be the standard for interactions within the server. Take this time to roam around the server, get a better grip on your backstory and just meet people.
  2. The easiest way to contact them is over forum pm, about as close to official as you can get.
  3. Would be nice and simple to add. Almost every person I release a vehicle for I have to read off the price. Would be nice if they could see the same notification we do.
  4. The excitement is palpable. Looking forward to bringing this business back to life with the latest Dev post!
  5. IIRC Tunnels were closed off due to the fact upon leaving the tunnels, players and vehicles can become invisible, thus rendering an advantage. I do not know if this has been corrected or not. As a Pilot however, I cannot give you an exact statistic but I would have to say it is close to damn near 50% of chases with Issi Sports we lose the suspect. There are a multitude of ways that evaders are able to get away without resorting to the underground.

  7. I had this intention already through a property I have been attempting to purchase, however I have been told in no certain terms I will ever be able to purchase it. I can tell you, however, it is entirely possible to contact the government and utilize an area completely legally that can be set up as a drag strip.
  8. I cannot speak for everyone, so I will only speak for myself. 90% of the time my reports are during a stream. I used to include the video as I didn't see anything wrong with it. However, I have been doxxed, banned once on twitch and been forced to change my name. The timelines all coincide with a report I have written and it is just plain aggravating to be personally attacked for simply reporting someone breaking a rule. I always write that my footage will be provided by the staff, but will still post it if staff requests it. I just prefer to keep it private.
  9. TBH if I am forced to work PD at a specific time I will probably leave the server. I come here to relax after work, not have a 2nd unpaid job.
  10. Being placed on the LSC blacklist isn't just something that happens. It requires management to process and approve the blacklist request, along with presenting evidence obtained ICly. Most notable of those is the fact that nearly all of LSC is covered by CCTV cameras and LSC management takes blacklist requests seriously. However without MG, your blacklist was temporary, however upgraded to permanent due to IC actions presented by yourself. Like DrPathetic said, your IC actions are your own, nobody forced you into doing what you did to earn yourself a temporary blacklist. And nobody definitely told you to go back and do it a 2nd time. At the end of the day, your IC decision resulted in you being blacklisted. However, if you sit down and talk with management from LSC, I am sure if you can be mature enough, you can come to an accord with them and possibly get your blacklist reduced.
  11. This Keep in mind that the few times we do arrest people, I find that they spend the entire time just insulting us and asking when they will be transported to DOC to get it over with. Also the ones who just resort to absolute earrape or /b. Theres only so much we can do for an hour standing outside while everyone else is inconvenienced by PD having to keep the entrance to the apartment building blocked off. Also a +1 from me on the suggestion. Interior doors tend to be made cheaper than exterior doors, as it just is not necessary for them to be reinforced. If you have already breached the exterior door with a ram/breaching shells, you tend to still have more breaching shells to continue to breach interior doors deemed too difficult to kick in, or for a ram to actually break.
  12. To play devils advocate, as a roadside mechanic at LSC, I spend nearly all of my time driving to and from requests in the dumbest areas imaginable. Maybe if people drove a bit more realistically they would not be so many pending MRs there would not be a 1h+ backup of requests.
  13. I am! I am currently working on getting an aviation license from my job at PD!
  14. I started an idea over a year ago and recently returned to attempt to bring it back. A sky diving business centered at Sandy Airfield for safety. It hasn't gained as much traction as I had hoped but I have been pushing the idea every time I can.
  15. +1. For years we used to be able to /me removes the keys from the ignition. However, we have recently been told this no longer works, due to scriptly we can start the engine and we cannot remove the keys from the ignition.(I guess they are soldered in place??). Due to this, its only a matter of time before more people use this to their advantage. Having a way for the mechanic to LOCK the car when they step out would be great. Freezing the vehicle in place seems, scriptly, to be the easiest way around this, while giving the mechanics the ability to lock the vehicle the best option. Most of the time I am working on a vehicle, something major has come out, whether its on a lift, or missing most of an engine, it just breaks immersion when I remove the sparkplugs from an engine and someone hops in and drives it off like nothing happened.
  16. As a roadside mechanic at LSC, we have to perform a balancing act. If there are less than 2 mechanics on the ledge at LSC, I have to bring my towtruck back to LSC and assist at the ledge. When I am finally able to return to roadside, I attempt to answer every call. However, people will make a call, I will respond and before I arrive they start their vehicle and leave, wasting my time and delaying it for the rest of people. During impounding for the LSPD, I get harassed from people at the impound lot, standing behind my truck or climbing all over it while screaming obscenities at me, again delaying me. If you are up north, I am required to wait no less than 5 minutes OOCly, in order to give Bayview a chance to respond to the call. If you are in a high crime area(near chop shops or drug labs) I usually call up and ask for someone to come escort me. In other cases, you are in an area completely inaccessible to a flatbed and I need to return to LSC and check out a truck. A suggestion I CAN present, however, would be to add repair kits. You can keep one in your car, repair your vehicle just enough to allow it to start and nurse it back to LSC/Bayview to get repaired if you are unable to get a mechanic to come assist you. Another suggestion, stop driving like morons. I don't have an exact statistic but an overwhelming majority of people I come to repair their vehicles, where because they did something stupid. Drive like you would IRL and a majority of this would be avoided. I do know sometimes it unavoidable, but driving just a bit better might solve some of these issues. As far as getting more people out on the road, there was a new recruitment drive at LSC for new roadside drivers, and we are trying to train up as many as possible. However we cannot just leave a busy ledge and get out a tow truck to go to every mechrequest.
  17. +1 Would be nice to have it. Especially when some people don't clear out their lockers, its a lot of stuff dumped on the floor.
  18. Voice Chat is controlled by the RAGE Launcher. When you open rage, look top right for 3 lines with balls on them (best I could describe it). Then scroll down and you will see voice chat.
  19. I actually had no idea it was even a thing. I just patrol past the banks as part of my pattern. Since it can be a bit MG, I'm defo +1 to getting rid of it altogether.
  20. https://streamable.com/5lgr6n Had this happen to me last night with a body in the trunk. No mods. If its needed I can fill out a separate bug report for it.
  21. Question 1 - Press B to point before you get on your bike 2 - Mors requires you to install a tracker in your vehicle as part of their insurance plan. use /showvehicles to have it pop up on your map. use /vehiclestats to figure out where your vehicle is/ license plate info. Caveat to the tracker is only shows if the vehicle is EMPTY.
  22. Its already in LSCs purview to tow vehicles illegally parked. Not sure about Bayview
  23. This. Sometimes it can be hard to keep track of available resources without having to sort through units, although it can be an issue in itself, where units still show because someone crashed out and didn't return. If it would help, having a splash screen for the MDC, showing the amount of currently online medics would potentially be helpful in a quick, at a glance way, although I'm not sure if that would be too MG or not.
  24. Have you tried pressing P?
