You should see some of the things criminals attempt to do to get out of an arrest situation, love seeing people take 7 tazers and still be able to run.

With the current DM rules how would a criminal attempt to hijack it? They can't slow it down because they all use retros or drags and all the SWAT have to do is leave the engine on and they can't be shot at.

Fairly certain someone worked out the maths and postal/money transporter jobs earn more than the 5 grand average that legal faction members get paid. Plus I'm currently a police officer and by your own maths you are earning more than me as a bus driver.

The LSPD have to do way more than just patrol Los Santos, some of the officers may be involved with training, others could be doing paperwork.

-1 Big no no. Cops are meant to have an advantage over criminals, that's no secret, if this happens every criminal relatively easy access to a very strong shotgun. I think about 1% of people who would buy shotguns and rifles would use it for the reasons you've listed.

Share your ideas then!! If it's anything new I'm sure they want to hear it. It's clear they are developing prison RP with the updated prison times (I hope) so while it's in the development stage you are better off suggesting an idea for what you want to happen to prison RP

So suggest a decent way to do it instead of something that's already been suggested a million times. Why should the jail times be reduced? It was a max of 2 hours before and it meant that criminals would commit these sort of crimes without much consideration for what will happen because they can just go to jail for 2 hours and come out and do it over and over again. The logging off idea doesn't work because that's the exact same principal. Why would a crim RP in jail when he can just spend 8 hours off of the server watching netflix or something. I agree that there does need to be more prison RP but reducing the times or being able to log off and do the time is not the way to do it.

You didn't commit a small crime though, you shot at an officer with an illegal firearm. If you want to do that with little to no repercussions why don't you just play GTA:O?

This is because of the powergaming rule, you can't force RP onto someone regardless of if their character is concious or not. If it's a dead body obviously it's a different story. Edit; also I'm curious, how would someone shaking stop an officer from putting cuffs on them?
