  1. lets be reasonable this, that is a bit too much work for one dev.
  2. You can, by purchasing a new house in game in character...
  3. -1 Weasel has recently decided they only take advertisement requests instead of community info and other such requests... not sure why but A: I think weazel NEWS is trying to be weazel advertising. We dont need them to sell our stuff. We need them to do news.
  4. Even cooler would be an asset repossession company. This would open a whole new job that is based around repossession, debt management, bail, etc... but yes ultimately this is another case of what I consider flawed rulings. Some rulings are made on the fly case by case and then ratified without thinking about the larger consequence. When they made this rule it was probably somebody dodging house tax and they made a blanket rule, months down the line people are abusing limited vehicle sale space to PG stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars. The ruling needed to be reviewed and added to the rulebook imo. Same with things like shouting out an open window at certain speeds, recently they clarified bikes and fear RP which is nice, but you see my point.
  5. I sold my vehicle and I was informed that I did not have to report it to taxes because the sale was under 5000. Your blanket tax evasion argument doesn't jive with the fact that there are way more variables at hand. In real life a person pays taxes yes, but in real life a person also can't take your 300k and vanish into thin air by logging out... and scamming the imaginary city treasury out of 5% because they don't know how to do income taxes properly, does not equate to supporting actively the ability to straight up powergame by scamming which is a crime, in a no crime zone. Sorry hard +1.
  6. Wow.... thanks for your constructive input?
  7. He asked for increasing storage, also why should a 2g have the elevator interior, also you can change the interior by building... there are people who remodel homes now... the system you are talking about is a huge system considering we dont even have presets for clothing and houses are manually done at the moment. They wanted customize-able houses and additional storage and I was just saying it was implemented.
  8. I do believe that because the OOC mech requests system and other similar systems require a map to respond.... that these vehicles should have that function built in. Even if I know the city by heart which I do, I cant respond to a tow call if I dont have a gps... kinda ruins the whole point of them in the first place... +1
  9. This is already in the game as of last patch, most objects add additional storage, and you can buy and place safes... this should be an archived suggestion >.>
  10. Thanks I am surprised this hasnt gotten more input but I appreciate the feedback.
  11. Cruisers are considered off road vehicles... they are built with suspension and front and side bars for chasing... My suggestion is purely for what I would call "casual driving" there is no reason we have rules against ramming with sports cars because they are expensive, but then the same sports cars can drive up rocky cliff sides. Inexcusable.
  12. So... hunting has become more popular because of the money, even though it is my favorite job and I wish people would yknow, go mine or something... maybe if the mines werent so tedious with the timers people would go back.... Anyways... my gripe is that today while hunting in my offroad vehicle with offroad tires, I have seen a jester... some sort of supercar, a shafter, and an elegy... cresting the top of dirty rocky mountains to find animals to kill... What... The... Hell... It is a super buzzkill when I am crouched sneaking up on a rabbit crouched and the elegy spins down the side of the mountain trying to get up... feels like a clown fiesta. My suggestion is make sports cars climbing over mountains against the rules (barring escape in life or death situations) because right now watching people drive their 300k car with that nice paint and body kit down over the rocky side of a cliff onto the road feels pretty non rp and I didnt come to play saints row.... There are tons of sport utility and off road vehicles from four wheelers to biftas and dirt bikes that can be bought in less than 3 hours work... there is no reason anyone needs to be hunting in a supercar... Lets RP the jobs we are doing... farmers and miners do this well... hunters should too...
  13. This is a man who doesnt smoke pot haha... at most I would say make people more hungry with a slightly slowed walk cycle... Also big +1 right now I try to RP a drug addict on my alt and I get robbed or shot when I go to labs attempting to buy drugs... they would much rather sell them to the automated system than sell them to people which to me just seems dumb...
  14. The suggestion is simple... I was just rping today and this happened... in not a matter of 5 minutes... I love weazel but at this point announcements, reminders, and weazel advertisements take up your whole screen. It is beginning to feel like I need a popup blocker for GTARP so I can see people's do/me actions and actually RP... My suggestion is simple in theory but difficult in implementation... redesign the phone with a "news" app that would let weazel post their article stream to that. I could check it all the time, and even check history of stuff I might have missed... but it wouldn't be my entire chat...
  15. cars, houses, drugs, businesses, guns, people, prestige, food, liquor, house restructures... name something you can't buy that you can buy irl?
  16. objectively incorrect.... im worth millions and still have plenty I can buy
  17. It was only hard to adjust to the scale of the economy at first. "I need to grind money to pay back loan/ buy something" Don't take a loan/no you don't. Also some of my best RP scenarios were at the DOC, that was taken from me by an unfair situation but ive said my peace and moved on. Now I have a different legal job and I go out hunting and mining with friends or make and do drugs with friends on my criminal alt... there is so much RP available. If you are giving up on it to go grind money that is a decision, one that is completely realistic. If somebody tells me to come to a party at 8am on a wednesday I am going to tell them I have to go to work... plan your fun, and rp your work.... it is good.
  18. +1 I made an outfit post as well, and Ive seen a couple come through, I think it is just a hard project.
  19. Yea I believe weapon weight was a bit extreme, but even putting that aside, my 4g mansion should not be "out of space" with 2 crates and a couple pistols....
  20. +1 I didnt even know this was a real thing... what the hell? Sounds more like a bug than a suggestion?
  21. Nobody is worried about them getting it right, of course they get it right a lot, they should always get it right, however they do not, and that is the very human very real and very acceptable eventuality I am suggesting this system in place of.
  22. Literally millions? it takes about 20 hours of work for 200k on average... literally millions would be bonkers... at 200k it is quite adequate, and like I said, getting arrested would break the identity because police could deep dive and big time criminals... but it would allow a person who has a single charge from 10 years ago to get a gun license and go hunting, or join the legal side of work. The fact is the current take on criminal records is cops, singular human beings, place charges that affect a persons entire playtime negatively, and do so indiscriminately (mostly as a product of too much crime) This system is not for career criminals to continuously hide their record, This is a "second chance" system to allow people with one or two charges to get back into legal life without giving up all the personal relationships theyve built over the last however many hours
  23. I think the problem for me (again not as a criminal) but as somebody who tried being a criminal before, is that the feeling is there... How am I supposed to FEEL compelled to do crime when I know that fisherman and farmers are making more wealth than me. The script money and stuff are there to support the feeling of jobs... but the current system would have a poor dockworker living in a hollywood hills mansion and a criminal moving pounds of cocaine living in a hotel room.... it just doent make sense... criminals are supposed to have lots of money for the risk they take, and high jailtime if they get caught... but we dont wont that?
