  1. hey senior admin serthon, can u check my ban appeal? it's pending a senior admin...

  2. (( Remember that this is an IC section! ))
  3. This isn't a suggestion about how bad criminal RP can be, there are plenty of other topics for that on the forums. Please don't start a forum war about it, if you really wish. Create a separate discussion and post.
  4. It's no lie that civilian RP barely exists out of now and that the server is currently going downhill with its RP Quality and becoming a Cops vs Robbers. I'm sure that almost all the players who played on this server for more than a month are aware of this, and (most of them) would like to see this change. Whether if they're on the criminal, or cop side. It doesn't really matter, as I'm sure almost all of us can agree that the aspect of civilian RP is greatly lacked upon in the server. In the server's current state, almost all players are forced into either the side of PD/MD/SADOC/City Hall or the criminal side of roleplay, by forming small gangs, joining the larger ones and etcetera. There is also a small group which attempts to go legal and do the very small amount of Civilian Roleplay which is present, that is joining one of the 4 "Non-Gov" factions, them being LSC, Bayview, DCC, Weazel. While one might say that you can still RP as a law-abiding civilian by either being in one of these factions or simply cruising around and chilling out with friends, that sort of RP is not expanded on, and can get very repetitive in a very short time (e.g working at LSC, constantly being on duty on the ledge and eventually going off duty to buy a car, chill around or etc.). I believe (and so do many people I have spoken with about this topic), that Civilian RP should be the temporary focus of the development and admin team, by promoting and expanding it as much as possible. As of now, this is being expanded in some way, from the different events which the event team has brought onto us (thank you @Serthon, really cool!) and different updates such as the adding of the City Hall faction and new salary system, promoting more roleplay between employees and their employers. The upcoming update which NBDY posted in #development as well showed coding always looks quite cool and fun, and I believe it will greatly help Civilian RP grow in those areas, groups of people going around in vans and off-road vehicles on hunting trips. However, with that being said, I believe that even with all this recent growth with Civilian RP, it still lacks alot of content to help it achieve "mainstream" status, stuff such as extra jobs or general gameplay improvement (e.g an actual bank faction, further improvements into the City Hall faction, more businesses and assets to help quell down the massive inflation the economy on the server has been experiencing and etc.) can definitely help Civilian RP grow and expand. While I'm not saying Civilian RP is something that all criminals or PD do, I'm simply suggesting a new route in which a new, or old player on the server can choose. People roleplaying as a hunting company, a nightclub with constant parties, auction houses, and in general, more gameplay features, stuff like stocks for certain businesses, the ability to own general stores and etc. This suggestion is not focused on one subject at all, yet I simply attempt to focus it on a general direction in which the server can (and even starting to go, with updates such as the new hunting update, gun licensing, and new mining job NBDY posted in discord), this can overall improve quality of RP as a whole in the server, and would lower the amount of "Hands up this is rob" or constant OOC hate between criminal roleplayers and government roleplayers (mainly PD). Not that I'm saying it is bad RP, as I myself used to do criminal RP for around 8 months, and is currently in PD for around 3 months. People can still go with their own respective routes, yet this sort of direction can open many more routes to new, old and returning players on ECRP. Finally, I'm not saying that development should be centered only on Civilian RP for a certain amount of time, as I still believe much other needed updates, such as criminal ones are required and wanted by most of the community. I simply wish for this to be the main focus of the development of ECRP, as it can greatly help its community and roleplaying standards as a whole.
  5. Well, as a matter of fact. SWAT raids houses of criminals in-game, yet we only do so when the need arises. This can include situations in which the criminal fled to the house, or when multiple reports and evidence provided to us through one way or another confirm that the house has illegal contraband within its possessions. I do not believe raiding every criminal's house after they have been arrested for a felony such as "Murder of a government employee" makes alot of sense. As even now, in real life. House raids have to be authorized by a judge. They rarely happen and when they do, it is mostly if proof for illegal contraband inside the said house exists or if there is a serious danger of life (e.g 3 men being taken hostage) inside. As someone who is a SWAT member on ECRP, I can tell you that throughout the 1 month and a half I have been in SWAT, I've raided only around 4 houses. While there have been countless times in which I could've gone into a house for one reason or another, I tend to do so only when there is absolute need. Or if I know for a fact that the house has multiple illegal weapons or contraband within it. This is done primarily for 2 main reasons, both OOCly and ICly ones. The first, which is the OOC one. Focuses on the idea that at the end of the day, this is a game, we cannot go around and raid every house a criminal owns. Not only will this ruin most of the experience for them as a criminal, but this can also lead to hundreds of hours of game time lost. Something that one might become frustrated of both OOCly and ICly. The second, which is the IC one. Is the one I have already mentioned, SWAT cannot go around raiding whatever house they wish due to the owner being a criminal. For us to go inside, we have a valid reason, one that urgently requires us to raid the house. This can vary from hostage situations to multiple wanted criminals in one house dealing with heavy weapons and etcetera. Quite surprisingly, even if you believe every criminal with a murder charge needs his house to be raided. I do not believe the LSPD can do such a task, as we will have over 20 houses to raid every day. Meaning we will have only around 5 officers patrolling around and SWAT almost always occupied with house raids, which we RPly take very seriously and devote alot of time to. (RPing breaching the door, clearing the house, running fingerprint checks on the contraband we find, etc.) As of now, there is no script that allows LSPD, Lower ranks, and Higher ranks to know where you live. Which is why house raids are so rare in comparison to other RP communities, by no means do we go to a house simply due to how a criminal was arrested on the other side of the road. With that being said, I believe that house raids should be kept as they are now. And that they remain that way, due to how time-consuming and experience-ruining it may be for criminals that would lose all of their 50 hours worth of gameplay stashes. We still raid houses, but only when there is a 100% need for the raid to happen. I have nothing more to add, hope you understood my point.

  11. This looks EPIC Good luck!
  12. Hello, As you may or may not know, we currently have a massive influx of new applications. If your application is reviewed and denied, you will have to wait 4 hours from the time it was denied at, only to resubmit another application. This is done so players who had their application denied can have time and re-read our rules so they can fix the mistake(s) which made them fail the application process. Unfortunately, if you put in another application after being denied it will be placed at the bottom of the queue. While this might seem annoying, we are not used to this massive amount of incoming applications and are trying to do our best, so please bear with us! I hope this clarifies stuff up.
  13. Date and time (provide timezone): 14/Mar/2019 Character name: Ilai Daniels Issue/bug you are reporting: While using the large MDC every key you use also does other features, (example, typing I in the record search will also open your inventory.) Expected behavior: Large MDC has not done this in the past, I believe it's a thing since today has NBDY implemented some new fixes. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Simply open the Big MDC either by typing /mdc, doing ctrl + m and pressing 0 on the numpad. Or opening it with ctrl + p Vehicle license plate number*: N/A

  18. I can tell you that the reason isn't necessarily the number of medics that are on, or off duty. It is more about the calls they receive. 90% of the calls MD receives are usually duplicate calls. Unlike calls that the injured person made themselves which close themselves if he is brought to MD/dies. Duplicate calls remain active until a medic actually closes them. This not only wastes a large amount of time for medics by driving to each call's location. But also adds to the frustration and boredom of being a medic. Now, to the injured people themselves. most players on this server, usually enjoy earning more. And not roleplaying more, this comes into the form of ridiculous bad RP in most of the medical roleplay that is made every day. An example can be easily given, this being the "broken leg". As you, and I'm assuming many other players know. The typical roleplayer in ECRP will most of the time avoid giving detailed /do's and /me's. And would rather give one-line answers to any roleplay medics attempt to do with him. This is another factor which adds to the frustration medics experience most of the time. While you or anyone may think this cuts down the duration of time it takes for each medic to finish a simple roleplay scenario like this. It does not, as usually. The people that do so, take their time with their roleplay. As slow as it may be. This, alongside the previous factors I've mentioned. Really take the fun away from being a medic. Don't you think? In short, players would rather stand afk at a drug lab to buy that AK of theirs, then roleplay. On a roleplay server. To your suggestion (increasing their salary). I don't believe it is necessary. From my experience, most medics joined MD in the first place for the roleplay. Not the pay, in the first place. This is a Role-play server. Not a "Money-making server". None the less, you'd be surprised to know. Medics make a nice amount of cash, they receive an extra 200$ for each player they bring to MD. So, let me sum this up: MD's problem is not within it internally. But mostly due to the players that play on ECRP. From constant stalling to no knowledge in /do's and etc. Increasing MD's faction treasury so it may increase it's employee's budgets, will not help. They already receive more than most factions. If you really believe MD won't come for you when you're injured, why do you risk yourself constantly and end up injured? If you think MD is doing a bad job, maybe try to join it yourself. Try and change things up, see how it is from their perspective. I'm sure you'd enjoy the duty of responding to 8 calls, attempting to respond to each one as fast as you can. Kind Regards, HaminLord.
  19. hey have you seen this cool event
