How many people are going to leave before something changes?

Factual, you've got to remember thought that there are those rare instances that justify this. There's a common trope in real life, the LAPD being one of the places that this trope is common at due to the rough and unforgiving nature of the city's southern-based crime rate, that "You never have enough backup" - Policing, when it isn't aimed at a community, is done with superior force that removes all elements of resistance from whatever it is the police are trying to do, i.e, you have a guy resisting one cop? He'll get four more to make sure that guy stops and rethinks before he tries to run off again, now that he'll have three or more tasers flying his way and not one. Its unfair, sure, but you've got to remember that with the mindset, environment and common instances where shootouts happen it is only natural for police/sheriffs... Whatever, to always make sure they've got their hand on-top and have the numerical and firepower advantage, even if its something as minor as a guy jaywalking. There's limits, obviously, but you always need to look at it from the other side too. You're asking people to emulate real life elements 1:1 even though the real life rationality behind it has no place on Eclipse and the majority of roleplay servers. You have to remember that in real life you also have busy streets, pedestrians crossing the road, people who don't drive 100 miles per hour and are almost always stopped the moment they very much touch the curb/spin/hit another car and etcetera. Its just not possible, even though I'm sure all of us would much rather have more realism in pursuits and whatnot. If you want the 'realistic' aspect of pursuits to shine through, you'll need a serious makeover of the entire server population's mindset, you've got people (everywhere, I'm not blaming anyone - I'm not even in any faction or group) who are more to enjoy the GTA aspect of the game and not the ideal heavy roleplay aspect of it, if you did? Then you'd have people driving off on 70 miles per hour and almost always giving up on trying after being kicked into their car's wheel because they spun out or bumped into another car. Even if the engine didn't fail and die down. This is not a federal mandation for all law enforcement agencies in the USA, you're looking at a paper from 1990 that is not only seriously outdated but also referring specifically to a few organizations that at the time, due to various reasons (For example, Nassau County) were under direct supervision and guidance from the Department of Justice. This is factual though. It very much is a thing in real life, and almost never done unless the vehicle poses a real and credible threat at the exact moment, i.e shooting at people.

wake up babe new elena blake post (hopefully) Place 5 cups flour in a large bowl. Make a well in the center. Beat the eggs, water and oil; pour into well. Stir together, forming a ball. Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 4-6 minutes, adding remaining flour if necessary to keep dough from sticking. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. In a large bowl, combine filling ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Divide pasta dough into fourths; roll 1 portion to 1/16-in. thickness. (Keep pasta covered until ready to use.) Working quickly, place rounded teaspoonfuls of filling 1 in. apart over half of pasta sheet. Fold sheet over; press down to seal. Cut into squares with a pastry wheel. Repeat with remaining dough and filling. Bring a soup kettle of salted water to a boil. Add ravioli. Reduce heat to a gentle simmer; cook until ravioli float to the top and are tender, 1-2 minutes. Drain. Spoon sauce over ravioli.

Ilai Daniels, 5 entries. -
Date and time (provide timezone): 28/OCT/2020 5:30 PM UTC Character name: Ilai_Daniels Issue/bug you are reporting: Whenever the Crown Victoria is taken out (/fspawn police), it seems to get the flat lights change into the bulky lights after being spawned in, something which wasn't the case prior to the new /modview update. Expected behavior: Should sometimes spawn with the bulky ones and the flat ones, staying with each respective version and not changing as it did so in the past prior to the update. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Just take a cruiser out, see if you manage to get the flat light version, then try wait a few seconds and it'll change to the bulky version. https://streamable.com/hf0bqn Vehicle license plate number*: N/A, any cruiser.

The issue with that's that most people RP shit that will never lead to their death, i.e a broken leg, road rash, a few cuts, and etcetera.

Somewhat recently reinstating into the Los Santos Police Department, Ilai Daniels was more than stoked to see what became of some of his old colleagues and friends, whether if they remained around, and if so, what has become of them and their rank. While on a standard routinely patrol, by Del Perro Beach, Ilai received a radio transmission from an old friend of his and another reinstatee to the LSPD, Detective Mike Adams. The two have known each other for sometime, and used to patrol together very frequently back in the day, as such, it wasn't a surprise to see the two under the same unit again. The two quickly met at Mission Row where they deployed an Unmarked Buffalo police cruiser, they left Mission Row and quickly changed to code 3, turning their lights and sirens on as they began responding for a nine-one-one call detailing a possible armed mugger going around Hawick Avenue and attempting to rob individuals. The two arrived on-scene of the original call, however, to no avail as not a single person was present around the entire street. The two attempted to come in contact with the caller by ringing his personal number, provided to them through the use of the Mobile Data Centere, however, they would again come to no avail as the man's phone was off and the call didn't go through. Not too soon after, the two began responding to a possible code 1 by Strawberry Avenue, multiple LEOs began making radio callouts asking for backup and support in what originally sounded like a gang shootout, upon additional units' arrival, the scene was found to be more quiet than expected, frankly, all suspects were already long gone and not a single one remained on-scene, as such, all units were cleared shortly after the two finished setting up scene management at the scene's entrance, annoying the two as they've just waisted a fair share of their time moving the blockades around to no real purpose. After clearing from the scene, the two returned to their normal patrol route, swinging by some of the more nicer and calmer areas of Los Santos, primarly taking place on Bay City Avenue, Del Perro Beach and Vespucci Canals. After a bit of driving around, the two decided to respond to a nine-one-one call detailing an armed robber being present on the Del Perro Pier, they quickly turned their lights and sirens on and made their way there, eventually arriving face-to-face with the caller who began providing the two information about the robber, claiming he was already long gone by the time we arrived. Without any other tasks left to do, and Mike needing to go off-shift. The two returned to Mission Row, parking their cruiser and re-racking their weapons inside the armoury. Soon after, they could be seen changing into their normal attires and clothes in the locker room, calling out the disbanding of Twelve Henry Fourteen, Mike's unit.

Title says it all. Don't think it makes any sense to see someone have a macro set up that will have them RP taking out a Micro-SMG, M4 and a kevlar vest in less then just 5 seconds. I don't see a single reason to really be against something like this, the timer doesn't have to be long, it will simply create a few moments in which PD/SD or even DOC can take a few more moments into planning and setting up instead of just having cruisers rush in one after the other creating an unrealistic incident while making sure people actually put in effort into their RP and don't just automatically set up macros that do it for them in less than two seconds. Timers can be short as 5 seconds for stuff that's basic, i.e pistols, kevlar vests, flashlights and batons while it could be slightly longer for weapons like the Carbine Rifle or Micro SMG and etcetera (10 seconds or so, whatever works tbh). Feel free to comment with your opinion, any feedback's welcome.

As the title implies, the suggestion's fairly simple - Remove the protection new players receive on their belongings upon death. I.E a new player is shot while having a stolen .50 on his person, should he not be looted before he fully bleeds out in the injured state the .50 would re-spawn with him in MD. This creates an awkward situation in which effort is being put into keeping new players alive for longer just for the ability to loot them before they bleed out. This shouldn't be the case in my opinion, I've seen countless situations and incidents where the above happened (Whether if it was a .50 or even an AK or even basic things like a bag full of marijuana and etcetera). If a new player dies, his items should be kept on his body where they could be looted and not re-spawn with him in MD. If he died in one way or another, its his fault. Not the fact he is a new player.

Just going to leave this here, a picture I helped Zetas take for its first version of its faction thread on its 1st or 2nd day on the server, it was taken on the 21st of September, 2018. I think it goes without a say that this has been one of the most successful factions on the server, and I've nothing but respect for everyone who was both a member and a higher-up in this group. From being just a member of another friendly group back in the day, then one Zetas' faction management handler during my time as Senior Support, and even a trial for a few days I've nothing but appreciation for everything they've done. Sad to see you lot go.

Recently returning to Los Santos, Jason Nightwood was looking for an opportunity to return to his old ways of life and secure a stable way to acquire funds and make a living. After meeting with a few old Triads, he was told of The Four Seas Order, and after speaking with Jae, he was gladly accepted in. Although Jason very recently got himself a job at Bayview Auto Center, he was more than happy to be a part of a crew again, especially one where he knew the majority of members. After his long absence, Jason knew that some of his weapons and equipment wasn't in the best shape, and decided to go and and maintain a few of his weapons. He decided to do so by using a bit of oil which he saved after his shift at Bayview, hoping to use it to clean his weaponry up and ensure it is not rusty or dirty. Jason made sure that he wasn't spotted taking the oil can, although it was a very cheap and low-quality one, he'd rather no one knew it was taken away. After clocking off-shift, Jason made his way back to his old home, where a few of his weapons were located. Upon arrival, Jason gathered an AK-47 and a Remington Pump Shotgun, starting with the AK-47, Jason quickly disassembled the weapon before carefully oiling it up. After finishing with the AK-47, Jason moved on to the Remington Pump Shotgun, after disassembling it as well he quickly repeated the process. Carefully oiling the weapon up and cleaning it afterwards, ensuring it is in its best possible quality. Unfortunately for Jason, the oil in his can finished before he could move on to what remained of his now small cache of weaponry. As such, he grabbed the two weapons and returned them to their safe, hoping to clean the rest of his cache as soon as possible.

Very noticeable improvement, the Walton Crime Family one is a great video to be honest. Probably one of the best I've seen made on Eclipse as a whole.

Although I've not seen the faction in-game for the last 2 or so months (Due to some obvious reasons), I think the recent frequent & detailed role-play posts on this thread have been amazing and constantly held up-to a very high standard of writing and storytelling. Looking forward to read on future posts, all have been great in my opinion.

Date and time (provide timezone): 22/Mar/2020 Character name: Ilai_Daniels Issue/bug you are reporting: Posting a backup beacon in a cruiser or any other LSPD vehicle (Might be the same for ambulances) still works even while there is no GPS inside of the vehicle, although it is static and doesn't move as it does when the GPS is in the vehicle. Expected behavior: I reckon its not supposed to be a thing as it doesn't make much sense for a vehicle without its GPS to still be able to make backup beacons. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Take out the GPS from the faction vehicle you're in, and try creating a backup beacon. Although it wouldn't move along the vehicle as it usually does, it pin-points the location of the vehicle the moment you create the beacon, and as such, can be theoretically abused by posting a backup beacon every few seconds to see the cruiser's location at that moment in time.
