+1, the metagaming rule is completely insane. We are playing a game, obviously we are going to talk about the content of the game to our friends OOCly to say what we enjoyed and what we did. Metagaming should only be enforced IF information you share about you current IC actions or IC knowledge is used ICly by people listening to you through OOC channels. The rule as it currently stands actually makes people unable to lawfully tell their friends about the server. Furthermore, the current rule also makes it so that ALL twitch streamers are metagming and as such should be punished immediately. Sharing IC information through OOC channels should not be a problem unless said information is used and abused through the OOC channel to be utilised ICly.

I have met most, if not all, members of LFB. However, I have never encountered them together, nor have I ever considered any of the people I have met from LFB to be criminals! Everyone in the 'gang' is great as an RPer, as a friendly face, as a flexer, as a point of contact but I have never really had any criminal RP scenarios, or heard of any for that matter, other than Vince when he was at a gang meet of mine a few months back. Stating that your 'gang' works in the shadows and that you don't make you intentions public is great for an RP standpoint, but why do you need to become publicly official and get a warehouse as the center of activities? It doesn't mix with your RP story whatsoever and I think that is why people are complaining on the thread as there are many other factions (such as La Famila) who have actively RPed publicly and are not affraid to show their criminal activities openly who IMO deserve a warehouse a considerable amount more than LFB. That's my two cents. If you want to reply to my comment, please read the comment first. I am not bashing LFB, they are full of awesome people, I just think the RP story does not suit official status.

Huge +1, it's a win-win from all sides. PD get some more RP to attend to and criminals have more RP to do as criminals and can treat a well developed version of this as organised crime rather than just aiming a pistol at poor Achmed in the LS general stores and taking the 15k he has.

Or a simple key-bind in game like CTRL+P open the MDC. I like the idea of integrating this in-game. There would need to be a visual display in the HUD though to show what channel you are in and the units currently responded. +1

+1. As an officer myself, I find it completely unrealistic that police would realistically know the exact location of each drug lab and decide to randomly check on each location free-will. I think the rule should full under a cross between Powergaming and Metagaming., Reason for this is that when police raid the drug-lab, they destroy it. ICly, the drug lab is gone, but scriptly (OOCly) the location regenerates and refreshes in the same location thus using OOC information about the location of a previously destroyed lab ICLy.

I think the snow should cycle, not be permanent. It's so intensive client-sided and is so noisy to drive on.

Pretty simple really, minimising the MDC using NUMPAD 0 leaves the cursor on screen forcing you to press F2. Please make it so when you use NUMPAD 0 to minimise, remove the cursor also.

The bug here isn't that visual repairs fix engines - it's that engine repairs do not work. It is a RAGE issue where engine repairs do nothing at all so mechanics have to use visual repairs (which also fix engines) for the overall repair of the vehicle. RPly, it is much more valuable to do an engine repair as the character actually does a repair animation rather than just holding a hammer, so I believe that the topic of this report should rather be "Engine repairs not working" rather than blaming mechanics for bypassing engine repairs and "just doing this ever since RAGE released".

The bosses of Amnesia have recently decided to return all operations back to Croyden in the United Kingdom as Los Santos' opportunity for growth appear to be non-existent.

Against who? And if you're referring to Shannon, Sharquisha, Tom, Femo etc - No, they were valued members of The Syndicate (hence their ranks) but they chose to do their own thing!

Amnesia was founded upon the remains of the veterans of The Lost Family and The Syndicate. The high command of both organisations were sick of limitations and lack of respect and wanted more. The disregard for respect from ex Syndicate members and limitations of The Lost Family made each party want to unite and join forces to create a successful - functioning - business. When it was agreed that we would be joining forces: Pedro Luis, Andy Lost, Roberto Sanchez and Elliot Gibbs decided to push for something official. The Lost Family were veterans of Los Santos and were notorious business men who were extremely well known within the city. They were founded when the city was first being developed and were successfully running operations to the present day. They were well known for their knowledge of the streets and expertise when it comes to negotiations and response to hostile action. The Syndicate were also an extremely well-known organisation who saw rapid growth and respect in the city. They were founded in 1999 by Pedro Luis and Roberto Sanchez and they successfully ran operations in Croydon (England) until recently moving their base of operations to Los Santos. Once arriving in Los Santos, Pedro, Roberto and their close friends Elliot Gibbs, Chaza Williams and Sergio Canio noticed that there was a large gap in the Los Santos black market and began capitalising on the drug trade. Before too long, many people were interesting in joining the organisation and growth was rapid. This was sadly The Syndicate's downfall as members were difficult to control due to the sheer numbers and respect for us was lost. It was at this point that The Syndicate high-command decided that enough was enough and removed most members from the organisation. Once The Syndicate removed most of their street dealers and The Lost Family decided that their legacy had come to an end, both decided that each would be valuable to one-another and decided to join forces. Amnesia plan to lease Bahama-Mamas from The Ballas and run operations from it. The Ballas will get a cut of all dealings that happen in the club thus enabling them to benefit greatly from the agreement. Events will be frequent with The Shadow Cartel offering security services for the club. Legitimate work will be in the front - with the black market trading in the back. Bahama-Mama will be the face of Amnesia as it is in the public eye and and operating as a legitimate business thus enabling the possibility for money laundering. Amnesia plan to not make the same mistakes The Lost Family and The Syndicate made by not backing down to disrespect and keeping the organisation a close-nit groups of colleagues who trust each-other greatly thus developing respect for the organisation within the city. Amnesia will be ruthless if other gangs attempt to overwrite our trade deals and disrespect our organisation. Not only are all involved in Amnesia highly skilled marksmen with great experience within the city and other criminal activities but we also have a long list of contacts willing to help at our beckon-call. Amnesia plans to be the entertainment, drug and arms dealing face of Los Santos. All events will feature our trademark (internally manufactured) drug - Amnesia, an adaptation on the widely popular drug LSD with much more alluring qualities.

Admins and moderators to FOLLOW ALL RULES OF THE SERVER
MrSilky replied to showmethetruth's topic in Archive
From your post it seems that you are referring to the IC laws not the OOC rules? ICly there is no such thing as an Admin or a Moderator so I am nsure what you are trying to say? Are you suggesting that the LSPD sign a sheet to state that they will adhere to the IC laws? -
Huge +1. This entire criminal faction 'revamp' happened at the worst possible time. There is NOTHING a criminal gang can do now that benefits the RP standards of the server. I saw a video by @BallinByNature where his gang was being showcased and their 'abilities' demonstrated but all that happened in the video was a simple store robbery (I would like to say though it was nicely acted out) but that is now the limitation of the server. SWAT and police should NOT actively go to these drug locations and destroy them hourly because IRL these locations move and are rarely static. Police don't just turn up to the same location, obliterate it then come back an hour later. This is borderline fail rp and powergaming and police should not ICly know the location of the drug labs unless ICly informed with this IC knowledge expiring soon after (similar time-frame to KOS rule - 24 hours). My gang attempted to create strong RP twice, both situations very similar but with completely contrasting endings. We held a hostage in a store and used said hostage as insurance for our safety. The first time we did this, the RP lasted a good hour and was great, the police enjoyed it, everyone played their part well - it was excellent high-level RP. The second time, the police just ignored the RP safety of the hostage and just marched in guns blazing. Ruining the RP we had been planning for a considerable amount of time. tl;dr - the police need to have an RP training course OOCly to allow them to better their RP rather than just being IC admins. The impound is a fantastic idea and has cleaned up the streets in a great way, but why are the cars unobtainable when impounded? The car's should be physically IN the impound not teleported to and unobtainable location. This has killed off another element of criminal RP. Tl;dr - The only thing left on the server is store robberies for criminals as SWAT powergame the drug labs making them unusable.

Hey, pretty simple suggestion. Add a button next to the player inventory to look at your bag inventory. This will save having to drop your bag on the floor and pray someone doesn't ninja-loot you and also still allows for side-inventories such as cars and bodies.

Finally! Some real depth! Looking forward to see how this pans out
