  1. If everyone had this mentality, there would be 150 busses roaming between the 4 different routes in a 1.5 mile square.
  2. At no point did I say the government jobs were un-enjoyable. Nor did I say that regular jobs are mind numbing. Government jobs should be enjoyable as they are key to the RP elements of the server and they take a lot of work to get in to. Government jobs require applications, interviews, training and repeated training to progress through stages. Government jobs value RP and add to the RP feel of the server and actually benefit the city. Regular jobs have no benefit to the city other than the money transporter job (who fills ATMs with money). Regular jobs have little to no RP. Regular jobs do not have applications, interviews, training and repeated training. The way you should look at it is a part-time job vs a career. IRL a career is a secure income which has many benefits and is well paid. A part time job is just work with pay, nothing much more.
  3. Since the most recent update making safe jobs such as bus driver and courier making over $10k per hour salary, I feel that there should be a substantial salary increase for government jobs since not only do they add to the RP element of the server but they also are difficult to get in to and you have to be extremely professional at all times. I feel like the average salary for a government employee should be at least 20%+ jobs where you just rock up and work for yourself and not for others.
  4. Are you talking about panelling on the car or the actual engine? I'm talking about the engine (which has a minimal wall thickness of 1.2") as this would be the vital point of the car where you could cause a stall. Also, cast aluminium is considerably stronger than aluminium plate.
  5. The bullet didn't even penetrate. An engine will run just fine with that sort of surface damage. Also, lots of cars engine heads are made with cast iron which is a considerable amount harder than cast aluminium (which as demonstrated by your video, holds up to a .45.
  6. It is extremely unrealistic tbh. Perhaps so unrealistic it can fall under power gaming? Not giving a chance for a felon to evade.
  7. Although categorised as criminal factions on the forums and discord, many people run legitimate player-made factions with the current system.
  8. May sound silly, but are you 100% connected to the server and not been kicked for inactivity?
  9. You made me check my discord at 1:15...smh. Sick video though!
  10. I'm sure this is a topic which has been made in the past but I cannot find it so I will make my own suggestion. Currently, 1 bullet to the engine and a minor head on bump with a lamppost can stall your car for a good 20-30 seconds. I feel that the frequency and threshold of stalls should be reduced as it is extremely unrealistic currently.
  11. Actually, when you are arrested, the clock does not start ticking. In the UK, it is when you get booked in at the police station the officers then have a maximum of 24 hours to develop charges, find evidence and if none of these can be done, release you. In real life, the pull over/arrest, declaration of rights, transport and processing are not when the timer starts.
  12. There's always a good amount of people RPing at places like LSC, PD, Bayview and similar hotpoints in the city. There is also lots of activity in the farms to the north of the desert area as this is now the best money maker and police/gangs patrol the areas here frequently. Another place that there is a considerable amount of RP action is the chop shop - If there are +=80 players online, there is usually a person/people/gang chopping vehicles which can lead to decent roleplay. I do however think that there should be some fun and free activity which everyone can participate in to make this a hotspot where money isn't spent or earnt. Just a fun, community driven activity.
  13. This is an IC law. Not an OOC rule. Making it admin punishable to break the IC law is a very backwards way of thinking in my opinion. The PD are always recruiting and always have fresh faces motivated to work.
