  2. From what I have seen it is a prominent issue ICly, but that's exactly it, IC. If it spills OOCly, then that is grounds for a forum report and their potential removal from the community. As for the IC element, it's all about how you react to advances. Lots of people can be very thirsty ICly. I have noticed as I mainly RP with @Shadow but it's all about how you respond. If you respond in a friendly, flirty way - it's continues beyond repair. If you are to the point from the start, they usually back off. There are very few situations where people pursue something after being told no from the start. Yes you may need to be more stern than you are used to, but it is the only way to get the message across from the start. People will always be thirsty as this is the internet standard sadly, but if you develop your own IC methods to deter them, they usually stop. If anything goes OOC, it falls under the harassment rule which is a severe offence.
  3. Yes, many times. IA is completely impartial. If a valid IA report is submitted, it is taken serious regardless of OOC/IC friendships.
  4. "it's still a game" is a terrible way of analysing a situation for a roleplay server where realism is central. +1 for original post.

  7. I actually gave multiple examples, you just focused on the one. Use your intel against them. Yes of course robberies are still going to be a thing, it's an instant and direct attack, but you can also attack from a distance with intel on movement and use it to hurt them financially and emotionally. Stop focusing on instant gratification for criminal actions and look more in to in-depth roleplay.

A quick example I can think of would be to observe from a distance, gather intel on the person, find out where they live, set up around their property and pounce when they least expect it. make them aware of why you're doing what you're doing, trash their house once you break in and give them something to remember you by. Back when I lead Syndicate with Chaza, Pedro, Elliot and Joel, if an enemy gang/group would go against us, we would crash the import market making it that they couldn't make money from imports anymore by mass-selling for stupidly cheap or obstructing arms deals made by them. There is so much that can be done without the "hends oop" mentality.
  9. This proves the current criminal mentality. There is so much more you can do, just be creative and roleplay.
  10. You initiate RP. Not everything has to link to a previous situation. You are free to roleplay within the rulebook.
  11. This is a roleplay server, not a cops and robbers/DM server. There has been a lot of development effort towards civilian RP and it only makes sense that realistic repercussions happen to criminals now too. With the extended prison times, you can now develop RP from within the prison. You can develop criminal relationships, plan revenge (within the DM rules ofc), create partnerships between organisations. You need to ignore the "time limit" and focus more on the roleplay. The previous system of 2 hours with AFK timer disabled was absolutely a Netflix AFK simulator but now you have opportunities to actually roleplay. Sure, you're not going to have your sports/super cars in there with you and your heavy weapons with civilians being told to get their "hends oop" around every corner but now RP can actually be developed. Think of how strong a gang's RP will be if they formed within prison, got together out of prison and tracked down those who sent them there initially creating a close bond? This is a fantastic change.

  13. +1 but this is conditional. DOC needs to have some strict RP regulations (similar to how PD are regulated) so that their RP can be inclusive of all involved. Whenever I get arrested on Roberto and taken to Bolling Broke, whatever RP I try, it is always responded with "/do no success". Then if I try to counter that RPly, I get tased, cuffed and carried (/carrybody) to a cell and get locked inside (or solitary) with no means of roleplaying in-between. The whole point of DOC and the new prison was to develop roleplay, not to rush it and get /prison stats up. As for script support, I don't think anything needs adding. Roleplay doesn't require script, just props. The new prison has plenty of props and roleplay is user created so further script support is un-required in my opinion.

  15. I’m not sure what all the +1s are for but I agree that it is not good RP to use them as they are immovable objects. Suggestion - Make all blockades destroyable but make /blockade barrier2 (the orange and white one) have a higher durability than the blue /blockade barrier.

Expected behavior: Keep the speaker item where is is left on server restarts. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Just place a speaker before a restart and it will be gone when the server launches.

Expected behavior: All prices in the stores should have been reduced by 50% in the latest update, but if you had a modified entry of price before the update, the old import price is still there.   19. I think now the stores have caught up a bit and are stocked up that side of the suggestion is sorted now. I do however think the thirst replenishment needs a rework. You don’t drink 5 bottles of water to quench a temporary thirst IRL so why here?
  20. Is there any way the general store GUI/system can be changed to the same one as gun stores? Buying from gun stores is much more visually appealing and user friendly as well as the management of the store. Everything is much easier to understand and work out.
  21. -1. Idealistically, this is a fantastic idea. However, there is no way at all that a staff team of 40-50 will be able to be actively accepting RP quizzes and being active in-game on this new island while also playing themselves on the main server. It's just not possible. The backlog will get bigger and uncontrollable. It's a nice idea, and would be great, but I don't believe we have the resources to cater for it.
  22. Very simple really, please default the script to use /f [command] rather than /f [ID] [command] if you are only scriptly in 1 faction.
