I understand what you mean. I would have no issues with lighter rules or no strict rules if only there would be a guarantee that people on the server would play by common sense, but sadly we know it's not the case and a lot of people are lacking in that aspect.
-
I see your point and I could agree to it to a certain degree. I too have some stuff that I do not like as rules and think it could be different if common sense would be used, but at the same time I understand that the rules are there to keep people in line and not to make it another gta online type of server. So rules, that add to the rp and rules that save people from bad rp are only welcome in my opinion.
-
So why is cop-baiting specified? And like I said, it is not a new rule, it's specified rule under Fear RP understanding as some people do not understand it just like that.
-
That's like saying, game does not need no bug fixes as you like the bugs.

haha, good one. Well I mentioned all the gangs that I know under each colour and the first ones mentioned are probably the main "claimers" from what I know. Well the issue is that any gang on gang violance(war) is war of economy and it is almost impossible for small gangs to fight big ones, considering the budgets and weapon stash of those that are not just big but rich. I can see that you're confused because this is discussion, not a report about IC issue. I pointed out a current situation in the server and made some analysis of how it goes, therefore I want to hear what other people think about this specific topic. No one is asking to deal with it or put any restrictions. Aren't we allowed to express our views on IC and OOC thing on here? Im asking for opinions from OOC stand point here, so I think this is something that can be discussed on forums or discord.

If you read our Lore then we are actually roleplaying as family of those who were in VLA back in 90's. Now we want to bring VLA back, but as we are the new generation we go as Novo Los Aztecas (NLA) aka The New Aztecs.
-
Totally disagree with you, besides this is not a new rule, it would be addition that goes under existing RP rule. It's just that most of the people do not understand every situation and it's almost like "if it is not written, then it's allowed". This baiting is 100% example of it.

I love the part about the Council trying to help to promote peace and to encourage alliances. I think that is very noble of you guys. I cannot wait you starting doing that on the server as that would be a great addition and I bet a lot of people would appreciate it. I understand that such big group needs some time to get on the same track, you know, get rid of the old bad habits and try to not get bored and fuck with everyone as there is nothing better to do. So yeah, like I said, good job so far, ignore all the haters, which probably is like half of the server and yeah, keep it real!

I see your point and I agree with it. There have been several incidents of this that I've witnessed and let me give you examples of them. 1. Middle of the town, meeting between Calaveras leadership and Clowns. Random guy, keeps driving by and we, the other soldiers just walk to him and ask to leave. He keeps comming back again and again, obviously trying to bait us to do more than just ask him to leave. Meeting finishes and our boss pulls out a gun and goes "Im sick and tired of you, get off your bike." as soon as he did that, the baiters friend, who had a position on the bridge, right above the meeting place, opens fire from an AK. 2. Two of my gang members, exit the their car and go to their house. While they are till there, this guy runs over and starts lockpicking the car. The gang members approach him and pull out the gun and at that moment they both got sprayed with an AK. I do not believe that it would be hard to enforce this rule, because it would have to go through the same normal player report for Fear RP, same as DM. It is obvious when it was a bait, because when someone baits, they purposely do an action that leads them to get under a gun and always the baiters friends are positioned to open fire as soon as they get "valid reason" to DM.
-
This is a small suggestion that I believe should be added and is very important as I've seen this happening and it does not follow no logic and from my point of view is a direct violation of Fear RP. Im talking about baiting for a DM reason. Seen many times where a bait is sent to do something to provoke someone to pull out their guns and as soon as that happens, friends of the bait just sprays or shoots the provoked people down. It goeas totally against Fear RP to possibly get hurt and shows no concern for their lives. Same as cop baiting is not allowed and is considered NonRP, same this type of baiting should not be allowed and should be added as fail of Fear RP. What do you think?

Well if you check our OP, then you can see that the cars we support are only ones that goes with our style. On the list the most expensive car, if Im not mistaking costs 110k. So yeah, I understand what you mean and can assure you we are not like that. Our members might have more expensive cars, but that's for their private time use.

About the IRL getting shot if you wore the wrong colour, sure, if you walked in the wrong hood. So if you knew you had crips in the neighbouring area, then sure you did not wear red if you did not want to get shot, but not like - there are crips in LA size of town, so dont wear red in the whole LA. And what you said about the topic being targeted at Zetas, I don't think that it is just about them, but I can see why you would think so. At the same time, they are giving example and taking it to the most ridiculous levels, but there are others as well, like the recent post in SeaWeed where they literally rolled into Forum Drive Family's turf and shot them(with rp I guess) which just shows that it does happen even without Z's being involved.

What do you mean by - Im rich, so imma make a gang? At the moment of creating this gang I had 45k on my character.
-
I remember how Calaveras were kind of fighting and then changing colours cuz of you guys, but the thing is you said you moved to brighter red. Of course to pick a specific tone of colour that you represent is fine, but the issue in my opinion is when a gang, earned or not, claims the whole spectrum of colours. That is only understandable that in criminal work you take it or earn it, but it has to follow some sort of logic or go till some extent. If you take navy blue, you use navy blue, if you take baby blue, you use baby blue, not every single type of blue, red or green. The main issue I see is that it creates beef between groups that might not beef otherwise or have no real reason to beef as their territories, businesses do not intersect in no way. I do agree with this and have always like that. I do also understand that the representing colours of the gangs are like a proud aspect of it, so Im not totally against it. Just looking for some level of logic, considering the state of the server, of how logical life in the server is with random robberies in middle of a big town.
-
We have been around for a month now as a gang, but as our Lore says we care for our barrio(hood) so we hang out there, not around banks or other random places. We do our shit, we live our lives and grow step by step.
-
We have seen some attempts to street gangs, some are not around anymore, some are still rolling, but we hope to add another one of them on the map and hopefully a group that will survive the hunger games that this server is. BTW, we added visual vehicle list

I could see this to be implemented as addition to house. The garage size should not change, just the fact that garage would be accessible as well. Just have 4 different garage interiors for 1-4 spaces and that's it.

Selling a House at Mirror Park with POOL and 2 park places.

Look at the date of the OP. It's almost 1 year old. -
Oh sure thing, but then again, they not gonna drive to someones territory and shoot them due to colour or fuck with civilians who wears their colours in middle of a town you know?
-
From my personal experience I would say that once you're in the PD you would see some grouping up as players and maybe some bias things, but I really do not think it's at the recruitment process. The difference might be in the fact that 2 different people looked at the applications and one is more forgiving than other. Also it is hard to give constructive criticism on both applications as we just see the outcome, but cannot compare the actual applications/answers to have a better idea of what was wrong with his and your application.

Sounds good, but quite early, so have fun for me!

So I was just browsing the forum and going through the player factions when I stumbled upon something that has been in the server for a while and in my opinion is dumb and unfair. Im talking about gang colours. Rarely any gang does not have colour, I would guess Clowns are actually the only ones without specific dress code or gang colour (might be wrong), but most of the server groups/gangs do have "their" colour and that leads to issues with other gangs that might be representing the same colour. If we follow the logic that we see on the server right now, where a gang claims a colour and that's it, it's theirs, then technically speaking we can only have 8 gangs on the server. We have 3 primary colours which are: Blue, Red, Yellow. Then we have 3 more secondary colours, which are: Purple, Orange, Green Of course we have two extra colours which are: Black, White Im not gonna go into tertiary colours as those are already in-between one of the mentioned colours and from experience I can tell, them don't fly well by the gangs that have claimed one of the 8 above listed colours, because anything that remotely remind of one of the primary or secondary colours is a no go. So that leads us to the fact that we can have maximum of 8 gangs on the server to not have conflict over colour, otherwise if you create a gang with any of the claimed colours you, unintentionally are putting your newly created gang at the wrong side of other gang and potential conflict if not even a war straight away without any other/real reason for conflict. That's like you creating your character and half of the server immediately hates you! So how fair and realistic it is for a gang to not only be hostile towards someone wearing "their" colours in their turf, but on the scale of the whole server? And where does it leads when the person wearing the colour is a civilian and has nothing to do with a gang? So let me see which would be the main gangs, that have claimed one of the colours: Blue - Los Zetas Yellow - Latin Kings, Vagos Red - Los Triads Green - The Irish Mob(not sure they still function), Forum Drive Families, SeaWeed Purple - La'Ultima Familia, Ballas Orange - The Wanted Black - The Marcello Family White - Not sure anyone uses white as that is basic colour This list is based on my memory as I have not followed the gangs on the server for some time, so feel free to update if anything is missing or wrong.

As a motorcycle enthusiast club, why such dark and violent name? Dead hands? Feels like I would be joining organ donor club.

First of all I would like to say that I personally have been administrator and admin on many communities in my past and I know what burden the position is. I also understand that you often have to make unpopular decisions that will not go well, like that recent massive report against Irish Mob, where around 10+ people were punished. Now to the discussion of this topic - I do agree that sometimes the administration does not make the right decision due to a simple fact that in does not quite make sense if you consider the whole situation as it is. I do understand that there are rules, but there will never be rules tailored to every single situation, the rules are guidelines and to see how to apply the rule to the situation is upon the admin, that's why the admin is there. But I have rarely seen that admin would apply the rule individually to the individual situation. The most common thing you see is like mass production of a punishment, what I mean by "mass production" is that you look at the situation, tick some checkmarks and if you get at least 2 out of 3 checkmarks, then you issue the punishment, when in reality if you would consider the whole situation for real, then a different punishment, maybe just a warning, would be more appropriate. In no way Im saying that admins are doing bad job, because these cases are really case to case and most often they are pure rule breaking cases, but Im talking to individual cases where the situation was not so plain and straight forward that still did not get that whole situation consideration and was issued a punishment for hitting the chekmarks of a rule break.
