  2. Moda and Cheng called the crew on a Saturday for a brief meeting. Little did the crew know that this wasn't no ordinary meeting- it was a setup for an upcoming event that would leave a huge mark on the streets of Los Santos Moda had an idea of hosting an event where all of our acquaintances and relations could ease out and relax whereas on the other hand Cheng thought of something entirely different, he wanted to organise an event that more fitted the theme of 'Los Santos Drift'. He told everyone to not worry about the event and that he'd take care of everything himself, the lot nodded in agreement and the meeting concluded. After taking responsibility of the whole event, Cheng had a lot of work on his hands- he missed two days of meeting with the crew, not racing and not taking any part in daily activities. He had planned on making a rally event with eight used Warreners, hence the name 'Shitbox Event' He cruised around the city in search of a track that met his standards. About an hour into the search, he came to find the Redwood Lights Track north of the La Fuente Blanca ranch. It was perfect for what he had in mind, so he got to work. He set up a small track using tables and cones that laid around the crew garage, the route included sharp turns and steep hills which made it challenging for the drivers to compete- exactly what Cheng wanted. Setting up wasn't the hardest part, it was the arrangement of vehicles that needed the most effort. None of the crew members had enough capital to put into the event, neither did they know what it was. Cheng had to improvise- he called up an old contact in Japan who owed him a favor after Cheng completed a job for him. The contact agreed to supplying eight Warreners and extra parts and he assured Cheng that the vehicles will arrive at Los Santos Docks in 16 hours. Cheng took delivery of the vehicles and personally transported them to the track, leaving them overnight to show the crew over the next day. Everything was set up and on track. Moda was informed that everything is ready, and he started sending out invitations- members of the Irish and Russian Mafia were the first to be invited, followed by other groups. The crew headed to the track in a convoy of sports vehicles, unaware of the sort of setup that Moda and Cheng had planned. On arrival, the crew was astonished- never had they thought that something like this would've been possible, especially at the stage that they were at. The crew was briefed on the proceedings and they were told to make the guests feel as welcome as possible. Fast forward to an hour later, heaps of vehicles start pulling in. A huge gathering of friends and family took place on the track and everyone started taking places in the Warreners. Cheng and Eoghan Macc took charge of the event and responsibility of smooth functioning. Making sure everybody got a turn to drive on the track, they ensured that people were having fun. All in all, the event turned out the be a massive success, there were mishaps along the way, but the important part is that memories were made. Vid Credits - @Moda_Montasser We would like to thank everybody who attended the event, it could not have been possible without you- we have much more to offer, this is just the beginning.
  3. This story starts like any other- dude comes into the city with big hopes and dreams, aims to achieve what people could never. Famingo flew into town with a bunch of his Irish friends, the Coleman's and Rick Knight- they aspired to become the biggest criminals the city had ever seen, this didn't seem hard until they were confronted by the Council. Over 30 people with heavy weapons rushed towards the four of them and stripped them of all their weapons and dignity. Famingo had never thought of being treated like this, and he realized that there is no place for him in the world of crime- he applied for the Sheriff's Department and got accepted and sworn in in less than a week. Famingo made a massive amount of progress while he served as a Deputy, from being a mere Trainee to being the Deputy of the Month- he worked as hard as he could to prove his worth to his superiors and they noticed his efforts on the daily. He made his way up to Master Deputy and joined one of the most elite divisions that the department had to offer- the Special Enforcement Detail where he learned the ways of tactically encountering and terminating any and all sorts of Gang Activity. Although Famingo had a decent livelihood, he was always bound by rules and regulations and he never felt like he could do things without being judged- he never had the feeling of being completely happy no matter how many people he caught or how much he excelled in his career. He felt the need for change but he was afraid of fully committing. He tried applying to become a higher rank in the department, thinking it would change things but after a week of no response, he had lost all hope- he filed for resignation and took a major break from everything. After a much needed hiatus, Famingo came back to the city and rejoiced with his old friends, he missed the old times and tried reapplying for the Sheriff's Department after speaking to his old co-workers. Unfortunately, the department didn't seem to want him back even though a bunch of higher command had personally asked him to reinstate. Famingo was furious after seeing the response to his application- he was confused and did not know what to do next. He tried calling a couple of his old accomplices but none of them had the time to speak to him nor did they have interest in discussing his problems, at this point- he was hopeless, with nothing but 10,000$ in his bank and a steering wheel in his hand. He drove for as long as could, not thinking about anything. He saw a convoy of orange vehicles go past him and noticed that one of his old friends Moda was leading the convoy. He tried to piece together what he saw and without hesitation, called Moda the next day. He asked him to meet at the end of the pier without anyone accompanying- Famingo hung up before Moda could say anything else and started waiting at the Pier. After about 20 minutes of waiting, Moda showed up in a Hellfire and slowly went towards Famingo- he got out of his vehicle and asked Famingo to remove his mask before they spoke about anything. When Famingo removed his mask, Moda was surprised and nervous because the last time they saw each other, Famingo was a cop. Moda examined Famingo for any sorts of wires and after he felt like everything was okay, they spoke. Famingo spoke to Moda about his situation and how he felt like he didn't have anything figured out, Moda understood everything and told him about Los Santos Drift. Without doubt, Moda offered Famingo a place in the crew and told him that there's nothing to worry about, he'll be there when he's needed. Moda took Famingo to the hangout where he met the crew and immediately became friends with them- Famingo had the feeling of finally getting the family he never had, a goal only a handful can achieve. He let go of his past, he was changed, he was reformed.

  10. Cruisers go 225 at max, they can only reach 240 if you're going downhill/hitting bumps. FPS doesn't matter. False, helicopters cap out at 240 although there have been some instances where they go over 240, nearly hitting 300- this only occurs when you exploit several known bugs. Also, didn't you hit 276 in a Comet Retro a few weeks ago? I only remember because of the constant spam in #fashion on discord, how would you explain that? It doesn't make sense for you to be complaining about us going over 240 when you're out there doing it on the daily. Oh look, a government funded agency which has legally been made with the sole purpose of suppressing gang members who carry heavy weapons inside their Hakuchou Drags at all times has unlimited ammo, body armor and weapons. Last time I checked I only carry 3 extra mags in my SMG, without any attachments or extended mags. I have 50% armor which easily gets depleted with 1x .50 shot. On top of that I'm not even allowed to discharge my heavy weapon unless there's another person who's carrying one with the intent of harming me, my faction members or other civilians. Complete bs. Supers are only deployed when regular cruisers fail to keep up with the suspects vehicle. Again, there are some instances when we use them passively for regular patrol- but there are multiple guidelines set for their use, IF these guidelines are not followed, there are extremely harsh consequences. Criminals aren't the only ones suffering for their fuck ups. Top speed is not an issue for regular cruisers. The Sultan Classic is one of the best credit vehicles in the server and it has a massive advantage due to its acceleration. Standard issued PD/SD vehicles cannot keep up with them on turns which is why a high speed unit is called in. What are you even trying to say my guy. Someone mentioned that a helicopter can respond to any pursuit in <10 seconds of it's initiation. What difference does it make to hover over a vehicle during a traffic stop? It doesn't go against any of the IC policies and it certainly doesn't break any server offences. I'll dumb it down for you. You're in a sports vehicle slipping away from me, I call in a high speed vehicle. High speed catches up and gets behind you, at this point you decide to take an off road turn in a sports vehicle even though you're damn well aware that you're not supposed to do it. Do you really expect us to stop chasing you? Do you really think that we're just gonna call off the pursuit just because you went off road? Have some common sense please. How'd you make that money? Processing and selling drugs. Man if you really wanna go there then why not introduce a IRS like system? that way we can track where your money is coming from and where it's going and this way, we can seize all assets that have been acquired using illegal means and then there will be 0 need for us to keep using high speed vehicles to catch up to you guys! Simple solution to a complex problem, or we could keep doing what we're doing right now- you have supercars, we have supercars. Perfectly balanced. I usually never respond to these sorts of threads but at this point it's clearly a joke. Crim RP'ers keep making the Hate-LEO thread bi-monthly for no purpose but to bash us because they keep getting caught. It's a game, you seriously need to rethink everything that you're doing if you're having a panic attack over going to jail for 2 hours in a game. Granted that you're here to have fun and not to be put into a box for evading cops but that's the point of roleplay? You're gonna have to suffer the consequences for whatever shit you end up getting caught with. Please play smart and avoid us if you don't want to lose an hour of your playtime- we have a lot of other ways of entertaining ourselves outside of police chases.
