+1, i think this should be available for everyone and it would be cool if it was an illegal car mod.

I've recently thought about it and my opinion has changed a little. I think that as of now you should have the option to, only due to the fact that there isn't much to do if you have a long sentence. I am completely for that, and i understand where you're coming from. If i was a DOC guard i definitely would not go on duty if all people did was just AFK. But i think a way to fix this is to add more things to do in prison, more activities. IC prison shouldn't be fun, but in my opinion its gotten to the point OOC where its just so annoying and frustrating, having to sit there for hours on end where your only options are poker ( which people rarely play), mining (which only lifts 40 seconds off your sentence) and interacting with players. I feel like sitting there for a 6 hour sentence is unbearable with the options you have as of now, i personally don't get to play for so many hours a day ( 2 hours max) and sometimes i go to prison from monday and finish my time at the end of the day on wednesday. Which isnt fun at all in my opinion. I think we need more options, to enhance both the RP of the DOC and the RP of the prisoners.

Yeah i agree, it would be really cool if there was a faction for lawyers. I feel like we really need this, getting a lowered sentence is huge if you have a 6 hour sentence for example. Unfortunately all you can do now is mine and that really doesn't do much other than knock 30 seconds off your sentence. I feel this is definitely needed, as of now you cant do much in prison to get your sentence lowered. There's not even much to do in prison other than mine, talk to other players or play poker. Long sentences could be fun for the first 1-2 hours but it gets immensely boring if you have a 6 hour sentence. And for example on a good day i can put 2-3 hours into the game, spending 2 days where you're stuck in prison is not fun at all. And another issue with this is people who get long sentences just AFK it, and i see why. I think you should have the option to take a case to court when you're being arrested, with a laywer, judge and audience attending. I'm not saying you should do this every time you're about to go to prison even if you're guilty, if this option does get added it should be used responsibly. I completely agree, imagine the RP of one of your family members going to court for a murder case or something along those lines, it would be soooo interesting and cool to experience.

I completely agree with this and i don't see why it is not a feature. I just commented on another topic about prison and i thought i should say it here too. The title of that suggestion is 'Prison is depressing' and i completely understand where hes coming from. I agree with this 100%. There aren't enough activities to actually spend your time and have fun in prison, now i'm not saying prison should be fun because it isn't, it is a punishment after all. There should be more activities to do because as of now, you can either mine and get 60 seconds off your jail time, you can play poker or interact with other players. And in my opinion, it gets boring after a while. Sometimes getting a 6 hour sentence for example is not fun at all, the first hour might be fun and all talking to players and whatever, but the rest is just boring with nearly nothing to do. I'm not saying everybody in prison should be afk but they should be allowed to, people should just go in a cell and RP falling asleep (if you want to afk at least rp something) , I don't think you should afk and leave your house for example and come back in 7 hours, but you should be able to for a decent amount of time. I think it would enhance both the RP of the prisoners and the DOC.

Well prison isn't a place you're supposed to enjoy at all, it is a punishment after all. I do agree with more activities being added since there isn't much to do like to mine, play poker or interact with other players. Prison can be interesting sometimes i'm ngl but if there were more activities added it would be much better and realistic. For example being able to work out in prison (it would be cool if it had perks like some drugs do eg. some make you stronger some make you faster..) And i completely agree with this too, it would be better for both sides.

True, RPing as a criminal is how you get all the punishments and it’s so much easier to get them if you’re a criminal. I feel like it’s almost not worth it anymore.
