Everyday more and more vehicles are getting added to the server by being bought from dealerships and players have no way of getting rid of their vehicles other than passing it to other players, that is becoming more and more hard as the player to vehicle ratio is increasing rapidly. Players sometimes wanna free up slots from old unwanted not popular vehicles for example. My suggestion is simple, create a scrapyard where players can take their vehicles and delete it out of existence while getting 30%-50% (percentage is up to management) from their car's stock price as a compensation. (That wouldn't make players prefer scrapyard over dealing with other players since it's really really cheap, 300K vehicle would go for less than 150k for example).

You make a valid point that everybody will just look at the reason from their own perspective however I feel that whatever is deemed unrealistic can be considered as DM (like would a criminal revert to murder in real life if this or that happened?..- I again understand that this can have many different opinions).. the fear would be from people roleplaying bizarre characters like psychopaths,etc... However I respect your opinion and understand your concerns.
  9. I understand your concern but like I said they should be at war and by war it shouldn't be over pitty stuff maybe make it that there are some sort of official wars where admins decides if it's an all out war or no.

My suggestion is simple, disassociate the DM rule from FearRP rule, Deathmatching is defined as attacking/killing another player with no proper roleplay reason however by associating it with FearRP rule you can have very good RP reasons to murder/hit someone and still you can't you have to put him under FearRP. So my suggestion is to seperate both rules so if you have a proper RP reason to kill someone he doesn't have to be under FearRP be it he is in a vehicle with an engine on (which is dumb to be honest) or not given demands under gunpoint. Current Situation: - In most criminals/PD situations arrest situations, criminals just drive nearby shouting demands knowing that PD is not gonna comply anyways just to avoid breaking the rule which doesn't fit in the situation, once PD gets demands backup is called however realistically it doesn't make sense that a Mafia/Gang would give Police a headsup before freeing their member but they would use the element of surprise. - Extending to the previous point, PD/Criminals stay in their engine on cars knowing they are not under direct FearRP to pick a a location they favor for the shootout/confrontation however realistically if there is a proper RP reason for a criminal to intervene with a PD's convoy for example he should have all the right to block the convoy and attacking it without having ANYONE placed under gunpoint (dumb in this situation) (Didn't know it's a thing now) - I have seen a situation where gang members (10+ vehicles) and PD/SD (10+ vehicles) were just going around in circles at the same spot for like 10 minutes everybody refusing to get out of the cars to avoid falling under FearRP (both parties) which was very retarded. - A gang is in war with another gang, they start chasing one of a member of the other gang (10+ vehicles chasing only 1 vehicle, seen it multiple times) however they can't attack him since he is in an engine on car and they will just keep circling around until he stalls by mistake. - Catching someone snitching in your gang, even if he complies with demands under gun point I find it appropriate to gun him down. How it would differ: - FearRP is gonna be enforced seperatley, player has to fear for his life. - Deathmatch would be attacking another player with no proper RP reason..- that's it, as simple as that. Situations that would go better with these rules modified: - Two gangs are in war, it's very logical that they would do hits/assassinations on each others (Being a Rival gang is not a proper reason to kill/attack but being in war with a gang is) - A mafia member is getting arrested, his faction has the right to attack in an attempt to free him. (Instead of the stupid "Free him or we shoot") - A Police Cruiser responding to a scene where a gunfight is currently in progress. (Not logical that I should first ask that arriving PD cruiser to get out with their hands up while a massacre is going on behind me knowing that 100% the officers are gonna get out and try to arrest me) - Someone who got robbed by another then later in few days he finds that person he has the right to retaliate and attack that person not just mercifully hold him at gunpoint and let him go if he is complying or else it's DM. Expected Arguments: ARG: That way people will go around shooting with no proper roleplay. ANSWER: Disassociating FearRP with DM doesn't give anyone the right to attack with a PROPER roleplay reason (a strong enough IC reason to kill another player) ARG: Gangs are just gonna DM each other with the reason they are enemies. ANSWER: Being an enemy to a gang doesn't give you the right to attack them unless you are in war (I think some regulation and special rules should be added for gang wars)
  11. What do you mean? why would that happen? not all people would delete their characters and for vehicles yes just delete it out of existence for properties like real estate it should be auctioned or smth or set it's market price for anyone to buy it IG.

  13. I think the admin logs should instead be associated with the account not the character, and the RWT part is the same case for abandoned characters so nothing new.

  15. No need, a simple button with a cascade effect where deleting the char will automatically delete all it's assets out of existence and such reason would simple be CK which any player has the right to do.
  16. +1 deleting characters should be a thing and no server wouldn't lose since people aren't deleting characters they use so still people would need extra slots.,,or make it a service (250 credits for example to delete a char and free up the slot)

    And what makes you think Police and Criminals are supposed to be equal...on the contrary, Police realistically should be much more stronger than criminals, IRL Police has the numbers which can overwhelm any criminal organization but here in ECRP due to limited number of players, there is 15 criminals for every PD/SD and gangs just team up against PD just for the sake of it, so no it's already imbalanced and the criminal RP is shit with criminals running around unrealistically flashing their big guns driving their super cars (black gangs and street gangs driving super cars mhmm) not playing smart not fearing for their operations or their life. You want PD/SD to not use high speed vehicles then find a way to make Drags & Sports Cars not so abundant that it's the norm for every single crim out there and disallow crims with bikes just going offroad driving up moutains whenever they are chased by PD/SD which wouldn't be possible in real life unless you are a professional stunt driver. The moment you stop thinking of interactions with PD/SD as gunfights that you should win and instead enjoy realistically the roleplay as a criminal, I'm pretty sure you won't have a problem at all.

  23. Snow is awesome!, however if it can be a little bit dynamic, like weather changes normally and there is a 50% chance or something of snowing, that would be nice.
  24. The suggestion is fairly simple but I think it can be a nice feature that can be used in several situations. Payphones scattered around the city which can be used to make phone calls (command would be /payphone #numberToBeContacted) The callee's mobile would ring with an unknown number (PP-##) Payphones are anonymous, however PD/SD can figure out the location of the payphone used Optional: People can call payphones using their mobiles (using the IDs like PP-14) and nearby players to the payphone will be notified and anybody can pick it up (/do *** The Payphone would start ringing *** ((To answer /answer PP-9)) ) PROS: it can be a very cool feature in so many situations that require anonymity such as: A gang member relaying information to Law Enforcement while keeping his identity hidden Delivering threats (can be used to pit gangs against each other) Doing illegal work while trying to not leave a trail behind CONS: Development effort and it's not critical May be used to troll
  25. PD realistically should outnumber any gang and be more powerful in direct and open fights, mafias/gangs are supposed to be more ppwerful in hits/assasinations/hits and runs/etc... that's why criminals should play smart. What you are asking about is basically TDM and you want team balancing
